alright, so, one more thing i've been thinking about during all of this, and apologies, because i normally try to keep my blog fairly discourse-free in the grand scheme of things. but.

there are hermitcraft fans who act irritatingly morally superior about this fandom. i think it's out of some impulse to try to distance yourselves from any other mcyt fandom. it needs to stop.

the worst behavior during the polls was from the hermitcraft fans.

period.

there were so many instances of hermitcraft fans accusing the other side of cheating, of hermitcraft fans making attacks on the character of their guy's opponents, i have heard what i HOPE are isolated reports of racism in the grian/quackity fight (it was genuinely impossible to keep up with the blog's notes that round without both going into a death spiral thanks to the horrible behavior of scar fans during techno/scar and also without losing track instantly of where we were due to the frankly insurmountable volume of notes, so i did not see it, but unfortunately i fully believe it). i have seen people receiving awful asks - saw people being accused of 'betraying' the hermitcraft side due to voting for quackity or techno, for example.

and for a fandom that likes to act like it's better than the other guys, well. the dsmp fans were generally very well behaved in comparison. (shoutout, for example, to quackblr - i saw maybe one or two possible instances of bad behavior, but for as intense as you all were, you all were normally mostly just retaliatory towards whatever energy was thrown at you.) it wasn't supposed "outsiders coming in" that was doing this bad behavior, either.

folks, you can't blame the dsmp when the problem is inside the house. you can't blame twitter users when you're doing it here. you can't blame the reddit when you're the ones throwing the first death threats.

get off your high horses. we're all mcyt fans. we're all having the same fun. get off your high horses. you can hardly claim we're entirely all "unproblematic" when keralis accepted a sponsorship from the wizard game and xisuma periodically gets another round of getting shouted down over something he said on xisumasays. get off your high horses. you can't claim we're the accepting, good behavior fandom, unlike those other guys, when you're the ones causing the problems.

now, as always, i'm sure this is a law of large numbers thing to some extent. as technoblade, wise as he is, said: sometimes when you get a large enough group, you're going to have a few serial killers. but for the amount that hermitblr likes to act better than Those Other Minecraft Fandoms, and those Other Fandom Websites, it wasn't those guys that made me cry.

to be clear, the majority of you have been well-behaved. but there's a persistent tendency in this fandom to act strangely morally superior to other fandoms. and, y'all? you aren't.

you just aren't.

and the sooner you acknowledge that, the less likely this is to happen again, because once you admit that yeah, we can be toxic too? that's when you can start actually looking at yourself and trying not to be.

anyway, sorry again to make this post. i don't want to be a downer, hence why, outside of the official mod statements of "chill the fuck out", i didn't make this until now. (it also helps that i wanted to wait until i was no longer furious, upset, and death spiraling.) i have seen a lot of the best of this fandom over the past two weeks! i've just also, unfortunately, seen some of the worst, and feel the need to make this statement because it's just... been eating at me.

i don't want this to continue to be a trend. i think we can do better. do so.

The one you all know and love. No? Just me? Oh well. I still have a LOT planned for this AU. So many WIPs I've started and still other fics for the series I have planned but haven't actually started. Lifeguard AU

This one's a fun one! Scar works as a lifeguard. Pearl does, too, and one day she drags her brother (Grian) out of the house and convinces (bribes) him to go with her. He complains the whole way there...until he gets a look at Scar. And when Scar's shift ends and he goes to talk to Grian, he decides that maybe going out of the house to the pool isn't the worst idea. I don't have much for this AU yet. I've started it, but it's not a lot, and I only have some ideas for some scenes. This one also has t4t scarian. just 'cause. Both are transmasc

Fallen Watcher AU

You guys remember that guardian angel AU? This is that but I've reworked it a bit. Rather than being a guardian angel, Grian is a Watcher. He's put in charge of Watching Scar. The Watchers have some sort of plan I haven't quite figured out yet, but it involves Scar dying. But Grian...has grown attached to him. He doesn't want Scar to die. But as a Watcher, he's not allowed to do more than just Watch. But he interferes anyway, saving Scar's life, and the Watchers are furious so they cast him out. So now he has to deal with being mortal all while the guy he saved the life of keeps flirting with him.

Feel free to try and rig it and whatnot idc have fun. don't tie it again.

Thank you to all of you who participated in the polls! I have a few good ideas for Able (not Abel, I'm changing the spelling like how they changed Cain to Caine). I have two main ideas. One, Able was the buggier but more emotional sibling. Loved by play testers. But Caine only saw them as a bug in the system, and attempted to fix them himself. Which ended up creating a fatal glitch that caused the game to become permanent and/or players to abstract. Perhaps insanity is not the cause of abstraction. Maybe it's contact with Able. Ablestraction. They assume it's insanity because you only meet Able if you're not actively in the game's safer areas, trying to look for an exit.

My second idea is that Able was never a character. It was an anti-virus. Their avatar is just a visual representation of them. Like a stagehand to Caine's ringleader. But they went missing, maybe from overexertion from Caine's contrasting buggy code or from being taken out from an outside source.

Or perhaps, they got lost in the void. Who knows. I'd love to hear y'all's thoughts, it's fun to make a character with the community. ^^

As for the ideas presented in the art, I had the same idea as most of you to make Able more eye than teeth, and I got a bit of inspiration from that one Cuphead boss. As for their outfit, I'm thinking something either black or maybe blue. The body shapes are just an idea, but I wouldn't mind making Able look like an inverted Caine in a way.

A little bit of a thingy to celebrate Universal Collision's achievement in getting into the polls hosted by @tmntaucompetition. Has a bit of a self insert to be warned but it's for a reason. Anyways as usual the 12 boys go by their full names and the Rise boys go by their nicknames. Also there's vague mentions of aus, didn't go into full details though cuz I didn't feel too comfortable with doing that lol. Hope y'all enjoy-

Nervous excitement.

That was the only thing that the writer could really describe her current feelings on what she and her boys were experiencing. A competition for different aus had been announced and in a twist her au had been placed into the ring. And by some strange stroke of luck, it'd managed to get into the finals. Which led the Universal Collision group to their current position. Surrounded by vast and fantastical aus. There were many, from future families to ghosts who haunted younger turtles, to twins and future apocalyptic ones. It was rather surreal to say the least. Mikey stared at the groups, taking them in, in his excited wonder, Michelangelo not too far behind him. The two orange turtles were practically buzzing with giddiness at being apart of something so big. Not too far behind the two youngest turtles, Donatello and Donnie seemed to be observing and taking notes of all the different turtles. Quietly and excitedly discussing all the alternate timelines and universes that were all in one place.

Leonardo and Raph were watching the purple and orange turtles, making sure that they weren't doing anything to disturb the fellow alternates. Apologies from the large snapper as well as a small look from the blue clad leader was heard and seen, as they made their way through and passed the others. And finally trailing behind them was Raphael and Leo, and the writer herself. Leo was awed by the sights he was seeing, taking in every single detail he could.

"Holy pizza-! There's ghosts here! And there's mermaid turtles and baby turtles and-"

Leo was chatting a mile a minute, pointing at the different versions of themselves and their counterparts. He seemed to have caught the hyperactive energy from his little brother and Michelangelo, bouncing around in place as he took everything in. Raphael meanwhile didn't say much, instead quietly obversing the others, and keeping a close eye his personal group. He noticed that the person next to him, the writer was quiet. He watched as she looked around, obviously thrilled yet nervous about what was to come. Raphael as well as the others knew that she hadn't expected to be included in this fun little experience. And they knew that she was thrilled as well as honored that Universal Collision had somehow made it. So to see her being so quiet made Raphael suspicious. With a small huff, the red clad turtle nugged her shoulder causing her to look up at him curiously.

"Ya know that we're gonna do good in this right? Our group wouldn't have gotten in, in the first place if we didn't have something to offer. So quit being all nervous, and stick your chin up. We're gonna do great."

Raphael stated already cutting to the point. He knew that being blunt was the best way to go. The writer blinked at him once, before a small smile came onto her face, the nervousness that surrounded her leaving in no time.

"You're right. We'll do great, and if we don't win this then at least we'll have fun seeing the others. Plus you boys will always be winners in my book."

The writer chirped, beaming a bit. Raphael gave her an embarrassed look, flustered by her honesty. Before he somewhat shoved her gently, scoffing a bit with a somewhat playful look.

"Alright, alright don't get sappy now. You're gonna end up sounding like Leo at this rate."

He chided a bit, thinking of his older brother's own rare sappy moments. The writer just smiled once more and was about to say something back when she and Raphael were pulled into a hug on one side of Leo. The red eared slider was smirking obviously having figured out what was going on.

"We're gonna rock out there. We're always rocking the world wherever we go. Now, let's get back to the others before Raph and Lee go into parent mode."

The blue jokester said already dragging the duo back towards the group, which quickly greeted the trio upon their return. As the boys and their writer made their way through the vast crowds of all the magical and fascinating stories, the writer took one last look around before settling her gaze on her boys. A small, proud smile coming onto her freckled face.

'Yeah, we're gonna do great. No matter the outcome, we're gonna do a fantastic job.'

Thinking about making a series of 12 once-a-month videos on building a cheap-n-simple DIY modular within a year, aimed at people who figured out their atari punk consoles and now want more.

Now that i started figuring out some circuits that are both dirt-cheap, moderately small, and fun to play with, i think it'd be fun to present a way of making your own modular electronic instrument out of off-shelf stuff and on a budget. But then there's the eternal question: will the viewers actually build anything, or is it "entertainment content making" all over again? Cause, hell if i'm entertaining anyone - what I want is to lure people into SDIY...

I'll most definitely narrow it down to 3 or 5 of them per popularity and personal thirst/bias because I feel an odd number would be super spicy & dangerous.

Where reader is rich AF, smart, beautiful woman who just barely got into acting as a hobby & is in a show with the aforementioned hotties and they've just finished filming for the day, had dinner at a 4 star Michelin (hello Ebon, Jeremy, & Will baby! ((In no particular order))Yes Chef daddy...I mean chef..I mean daddy...daddy? DADDY 🫡👨‍🍳💦) and are all hammered when they've been told by production that the hotel rooms reserved for all (but reader) fell through.

Well lucky for them, ol' humble ass reader with her 32 room mansion (all rooms have en suite bathrooms, huge jacuzzi tubs *heh heh* and full-on kitchenettes) invites them all to stay at her place for the duration of filming since she lives so close and chaos and LOTS of pining, romance, and a SHIT TON of the smuttiest and nastiest (cause reader gets down like that and is a D/S switcheroni) sex ensues.

THE ONLY PROBLEM IS... not only do I anticipate that absolutely NO ONE, NILCH, NEMO, NADIE, NIEMAND, NESSUNO, لا احد will even come across, read, or gaf about this post....buttt I also have high expectations of that not a single soul would either be interested or read this fic that I highly anticipate will cost me my blood, sweat, tears, and first born...ya know, nbd.

So hi! Yes, hello. I came up with Jimothy several years ago and was the one to submit the prior propaganda to the blog. These two have been in so many scenarios in my mind, y'all have no idea. They are so small. They are both mentor figures (more or less). They, uh, small. Even outside the ship dynamic, I can imagine them being amazing friends. Did you know that prior to their Disney work, both of their original voice actors (Cliff Edwards for Jiminy, Edward Brophy for Timothy) were in a live-action film with Buster Keaton?
