(It's Day Five of the study tour, too… the festival's the day after tomorrow.)

Young Justice S2 Ep20 Part 1

Guys, I would've openly cried when Kid Flash died but I was watching Young Justice on my phone in the living room and my whole fam was there so I didn't wanna them to see me crying over a cartoon but nooooo. Y did they just kill off Wally?! There was no need. I think either the voice actor didn't wanna play Wally anymore but they could've always brought another voice actor but then again it wouldn't be the same. This is my first theory. My second theory...I DON'T HAVE ONE! Y DID THEY KILL HIM OFF?! THERE WAS ACTUALLY NO REASON TO KILL HIM OFF! I'm actually so sad guys 😭.

Nah cause look how cute these two r and now Artemis is left all alone. They did both of them dirty. Killing off Wally and then leaving Artemis heart broken.

Ahhh but they're so cute. Now we're never gonna get to see them together again 😭.

Also, when Artemis was speaking through the comms but Wally interrupted her by kissing her. I loved that scene. It's so adorable cute and I loved how their kissing noises were going through the comms and whoever was on the comms was like "Hello...hello..." I love Wally for that.

No cause urghhhhh. Flash literally told Bart to run slower so Wally could catch up but Bart AND Barry didn't slow down and then he was being disintegrated. Nah cause even Blue Beetle's scarab told him that Wally will disappear and he just stood there dumbfounded like "wdym?" LIKE WDYM "WDYM?"! GO SAVE HIM. BUT NO HE JUST STOOD THEIR WAITING.

I HAD TEARS WELLING UP. THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO MAKE HIS DEATH LOOK SO PAINFUL. I MEAN IT WASN'T BUT IT WAS TO ME! Nah but guys, they should bring him back cause he only disintegrated. U know how in marvel Ant Man how Hope's mom disappeared cause she turned so small and was stuck in this dimension but no one knew, maybe Wally is also just lost somewhere. Maybe his particles r just scattered somewhere and need to be found so they could bring them together to make Wally again. It's literally like in TMNT 2003 S7 where Master Splinter got blasted by smth and he disappeared but Donnie found out that his particles were scattered and that he could find them and then join them together to make Master Splinter whole again. THEY NEED TO DO THAT WITH WALLY.

She's so heartbroken 💔. I don't blame her. She lost her boyfriend. Her love for this superhero business. Although, she doesn't blame his death on the whole superhero thing, I would've if I was her. I wanted her to start shouting at Barry and Bart for letting him die and all but they didn't do that cause she's better than that BUT STILL.

Stop. I can't watch this scene even through these gifs cause it's breaking my heart 😭.

Side note, y is she so goddamn beautiful when she cries?! Nah cause if I was Wally, I'd defo make her cry so I can see her beautiful crying face. How can she not look bad crying?! I'm jealous. At least now I can officially have her since her man is no more 🥲.

honestly there's not much I have to say about the episode itself BUT last episode, I thought the cook guy sounded super familiar but I didn't look it up but at the start of this ep he was talking and I was like "man no way they got majima for this random guy" but they actually did and also, there was an animation error, right before this screen there's a far shot of the scene and she has her hood on in it, despite not having it on before AND after it so that was funny to spot

Mashle Ep7

we're finally really in the first battle arc, tho the animation continues to be nothing impressive as expected. hoping that at least the big fight with the boss looks good but we'll see. I also forgot that razor showed up here too so that was nice, hope that his fight gets some love too cause he deserves it. tho I did like how the text at the bottom there sunk in sync with mash that was a cute touch, it was also all wobbly while he was talking underwater

what the hell bocchi the tuber has a face good ep tho, the livestream with her reading the baddies' goon's comment was funny and riko's reaction to having her comment read was great too, average chatter moment lmao also in 2 more weeks we're getting anime nemona so very excited for that, hopefully she has a good voice

we finally out of the vamola backstory and back into the action very cool chap, especially seeing the pay off of momo seeing all that and regretting how she treated vamola my favourite part were these 2 panels, in opposites pages, after the exact same amount and layout of panels above it. the parallel of how soft momo's eyes are when she's reassuring vamola and then how sharp and serious they are when glaring at the aliens is extremely good

you know, since #9 took over the old man, this makes a lot of sense but since they didn't mention it in the shinomiya fight I hope it isn't just a thing for this one kaijiu cause of narumi's relationship with isao. it's still cool anyway, but it would be kinda lame for the baddies to have access to something like this, giving the number kaijus isao's knowledge and not doing it but we'll see

introducing some more eye candy to the series isn't a bad idea, tho that one panel of fanservice was pretty unnecessary. still nothing great so far, but he's finally met one of the exorcists nue mentioned before and they're setting up a club to deal with spirits and stuff, which will help give some structure to the series in the coming chaps. we'll see how it goes from here but I'm still not very hopeful about it's chances with how bad ch1 and 2 were.

interesting choice to have the first 5 pages of the chapter have no dialogue but it worked well enough I think. this was basically all about the cliffhanger from the previous chap but I didn't expect things to progress this fast

this guy jacking it WAY too much but anyway, they're using the money each fight is worth as a sort of power level so that's neat, tho it doesn't mean much at the moment that this guy's worth 10k when there's nothing else as a point of reference

you know fran only got introduced semi recently but her chaps are some of the most fun ones, tho this one felt like it repeated the same joke a bit too much for me

nice chap finishing setting up the next arc which will be 1v1 tournament style battles between the different classes, tho we'll most likely only see the class A ones for obvious reasons. I also liked to see iroha using others' mannerisms like they talk about here and later in the chap too, it's cute and it also reminds me of medaka

good chap, especially that big scenery shot very pretty. the ending is very exciting too the confession may be happening sooner than expected

weird to see a chapter without the main cast, but not a bad chap, just setting up the current situation of the country and the various faction after tokiyuki's failed war, just some more chaps and we'll go back to them. tho I'm curious to see if matsui is gonna follow historical fact or do something original when that happens, but I'm leaning more towards the latter

extremely good chapter to end the flashback sequence, more than half the chap had no text boxes and was all great action. just makes me hope and pray even harder than when it does get an anime adaptation it gets the treatment it deserves unlike what mashle has been getting

nice chap, I knew the salesman wouldn't lose to this guy that didn't get any screentime before this competition, tho I didn't expect to see his backstory, hopefully it'll only be a bit of next chapter instead of dragging on for too long

OMG OK SO: First VegasPorsche!! It's kind of a 50/50 thing but I'll go with:

What made you ship it? So like in episode 5?? When Kinn was making Porsche sad and Vegas took him on a motorcycle ride. Like that was my first hint I was destined to be a Vegas Simp cause I just wanted Porsche to run off with Vegas lmaooooo. Kinn did eventually grow on me and now I am a VegasPete girlie. Which is why it's kind of 50/50 if I ship them or not. I don't think Vegas has feelings for Porsche in canon but it's fun to think of what-ifs and AUs.

What are your favorite things about the ship? Listen. Because I think Vegas is at his best when he's accidentally falling for someone who he's trying to manipulate. That's the only way Vegas can truly love someone. By the time he realizes it, it's simply too late! And even if Vegas doesn't love Porsche back (the most likely scenario), I still think it's sexy as hell for Vegas to manwhore his way to beating Kinn. Having Porsche head over heels while Vegas grins smugly, using Porsche to get to Kinn. It's all very evil and twisted, I love it! At the very least Vegas and Porsche should've made out in canon. Just once. Just to get back at Kinn

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? So idk if it's that unpopular but I have seen some people say that Porsche was like. Not having any of Vegas's shit from the start and was rejecting all his advances?? But I think Vegas was much closer to winning Porsche over than some want to think.

What made you ship it? The scene where they're in the same bed and accidentally almost kiss. And then Porsche asks Pete about kissing and Pete asks if Porsche wants to kiss him. Like idk Porsche should've said yes!! Let Porsche kiss everyone actually before settling down with Kinn, he needs a whore era.

What are your favorite things about the ship? Besties who kiss! And sometimes they fuck! It's nbd, it's cute, it's casual. They're both hot so of course they're hot together. They're just the epitome of messy besties who share lip gloss by kissing. I don't think there's anything romantic behind it, if there was, though, they'd be the most wholesome and least problematic ship in the show.

usually for a shorter fic its always start to finish. but if its a longer fic (like 2k or more) it'll often be out of order?? the thing with the long fics is that I have to plan each part of the fic like in detail... so yeah sometimes out of order scenes happen. (and don't tell anyone but infamous together pt. 2 the scenes were out of order for so long and I only just connected them together so I can continue writing and post that fic one day so yeah....)

definitely Jane Austen for nonfanfic writers and maybe... jeanne birdsall?? the penderwicks was like the series I loved the most as a child so that definitely helped me with writing. other than that I can't rly think of any fanfic writer in particular, cause with every fic that I read that I LOVE and that has amazing writing, I try to see what they did that worked so well and incorporate it into my own stuff. So I guess that means that all the fanfic writers have influenced me just a bit!!

Nobody has to read this. I encourage you not to. This is a rant. I'm disappointed. I'll stop thinking about it in a couple days:

So there's this artist/actress I've been following a while, Stormi Maya who's also known as Cinnamon Babe (along with her band). And recently, allegedly, there are some allegations about SOMETHING again her. We have 0 idea what these allegations are but they got her kicked out of a show. And when asked what said allegations were they were like "We can't tell you bc it would put the victims at risk." And "I don't investigate allegations, but I take them seriously"

This was after cinnamon babe posted the thingie revealing her gig was cancelled and contract with said festival terminated

And I was like "Okay...Uhm."

And Cinnamon Babe responded. So now they've been having a back and fourth for two days and it's all very messy.

And I'm just confused like "Tf is going on. Is that legal???, idk." And Im just waiting to see how this plays out cause apparently they're suing for defamation or something.

R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?

Buck and Chris. My relationship with my best friend's daughter (hereby known as Sweet Lil' Bean, or SLB) is very similar to theirs. I met SLB when she was 2.5 years old, and began teaching her at my preschool shortly before she turned three. My co-teacher/her mom ended up becoming one of my best friends (to this day!) When I was out of work for a while, I took care of SLB just like Buck took care of Chris (with zero natural disasters, thank goodness!). When I see love Buck has for Chris, I'm reminded of my love for SLB. And like Chris, SLB has her own disabilities, but her family and I all fight hard to make the best life for her. I know I made this all about me, but it's the reason I love them so much!

A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.

I'm gonna be honest- I like romantic relationships, but I'm really here for the friendships/familial relationships on the show. -The whole Lee family, of course including Chim! I've talked about them in length in tags to posts that are still in my queue, but suffice to say that they mean so much to me!!!! -Maddie and Buck. Our parenting situations are vastly different, but my little sister is nearly 9 years younger than I am, and we have no other siblings, so I understand the feeling of watching your baby sibling going through life and wanting to protect them but also let them grow. And the guilt for leaving, even if for me it was to attend grad school in another city. -Hen and Athena! They're such a great team, ride or die for each other! They build each other up and focus on each others' strengths, while also not being afraid to call the other out or poke fun of each other. -Hen and Chim, a classic! For all of the same reasons as I love Hen and Athena, though Hen and Chim are more prone to hijinks (I say more prone, but I will never forget Athena having to call Hen to grab the key to the handcuffs from her purse! I have never laughed so hard as I did in that scene!!! IDK if any scene will ever top it for me!)

V - Which character do you relate to most?

This one's tricky. I'm not sure if there IS one character I relate to most. I see my relationships with kids (especially SLB) through Buck's relationships with children. I see myself as a big sister through Maddie. I also see the way my body is similar in some ways to Maddie's, especially her post-pregnancy, and if she's beautiful, then I can love myself, too. I see my queerness in Hen and Karen, even if I'm not sure how I identify yet. And even though we're from different ethnic/cultural backgrounds, I still see my own culture/traditions and family in The Lees. I see the person I want to become in Athena, Bobby, and Hen. And I see myself in Ravi, the cute one who isn't always involved in the shenanigans, and sometimes is embarrassed by them, but love my found family all the same. So in the end, I don't think I can say I relate "most" to any one of them. I see myself in all of them, and to me that's even more special <3

I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

Before I was on tumblr, I was contributing fics and art to this fandom. I made really good friends on fanfic dot net. I made really good friends on d.eviantArt. I've even co-written fic with two friends, and I wrote a fic and a friend drew a scene from it!

Then I joined tumblr in 2012. And aside from the infamous trio that this show was a part of, the fandom itself was no fun at all. I made a couple friends in a niche part of the fandom, but as a whole the tumblr fandom disengaged me from the show (I mean, season 4 could have done that all on its own, but tumblr started it years earlier instead).

Thankfully I never got hate, but so many people were nasty in that fandom that I pretty much never made fanart or fic for a fandom again.

Looking back, I've forgotten how much time and love I poured into the things I used to created, and how I had a wider sphere of being known. Like I wrote a bunch of fics mostly about D.I. Dimmock and a couple about Lestrade, and I was known for that! Like Dimmock was my guy! My blorbo from my show! and everyone knew him!

Granted, my hands don't work like they used to, and I don't have the time or brainpower like I previously did. But still, I miss the bonds that I made, before either of those other sites went down the gutter.

I realize that I totally went off tangent, sorry about that. But clearly, you can see the feelings I have for that fandom.

jet also being in omashu is weird considering they made it a point to say there's no fire nation presence in omashu. what business does he have here. like why. that's his whole thing. hunting soldiers.

teo's design is sick tho, love the hair. love the goggles. thought his father caused that explosion but if not that was a weird way to show katara and aang are benders.

OH ok now i get it. jet and co are bombing parts of the city as a way for the ppl to rise up. trying to drag omashu into the war. i do like that if that's the case. good angle

i!!!!!!! don't like mai's hair. are they like space buns? what was wrong with her original hair? they had that sort of ornate hairstyle down for suki's mom. i like thalia tran's voice but the hair is rly throwing me off, not to mention the scene they're all introduced in is rly dark for some reason????? if it's colored black i cannot see it.

i don't rly have full context so idk that i can give a complete opinion based on conjecture. the significance behind having teo and sai inhabit the northern air temple was about sharing culture and more than just idk... sai giving weapons to the fire nation to protect their livelihood. like that is a part of it, sure, but by removing the setting, it's taking away a lot of nuance the whole situation had.

jet and co being behind the bombs makes sense but idk in what context. if they're tailing fire nation spies outside (outside???? or does omashu having a woodsy side to it where they've set up camp and i just missed it?) the city to eliminate them, then why also bomb them inside the city? that part to me still seems like indiscriminate attacks meant to incite the army to fight. but i will hold back bc i dont wanna give these writers credit if thats not the case and its smth stupid instead rhgowhgqeg

speaking of stupid. can we live in an era (as someone who knows very little about showrunning) where actors voice if something pertaining to their character is bad or doesn't make sense. didn't emilia clarke wander around london or whatever in absolute turmoil bc she hated the ending for her character in game of thrones but in the end she still went thru w it bc what else could she do. i wanna live in a world where an actor reads a script or tries to act smth out and stops and goes no. no this is stupid i don't like this he would not say that. and it like, have weight and significance?? like if bad writing exists, instead of letting it slide, can ppl in the making of the show voice their opinions? if smth is bad then it's bad.

this is all bc of the senseless iroh pushing zuko to the ground and drawing attn to himself scene at the end of e3. like why. the gate was right there. no one was checking faces. cover zuko's head again and run out in the crowd. do anything aside from the needless sacrifice like what was the point, whyyyyyy, i don't understand.

(this was an interesting mashup episode but tbh all i was thinking thru watching it was 'wow! ppl who get into atla thru the netflix adaptation r gonna be so confused when they watch the cartoon and learn jet and teo are introduced at different points of the season from each other and omashu. completely different points. omashu is first half, jet is middle, teo and sai are end. not a bad thing it was just jarring to think abt.)

once again i do not like anything they've done with iroh's character.

idk i'll probably go in depth next episode when everything hopefully gets explained better but. maybe bc they're making atla into a drama instead of the action/adventure it was originally, they feel like everything has to be "dramatized" and it's sucking the soul out of the show? the comedy isn't there really, which is a shame. atla's comedy is like the golden standard of cartoon kids-rated comedy. i would've loved to see them get into omashu by disguising aang and katara running with the absurd surname and that whole element, instead of sneaking in with jet with what tries to be humor maybe but falls short of such. this show needs to be funnier to be successful in my eyes.

also i know i said this last time but i wanna say it again re: the change in genre. taking this show from a global journey adventure serial and trying to make it a drama is removing a lot of what made atla work so well. there was so much planning and nuance in everything, and it worked bc of the genre it fit into. trying to slice and dice certain elements of a season to fit a not even 8 hr runtime isn't great to begin with, but like. you can make the show more adult-oriented without changing what it is at its core, y'know?

now that there's definitely gonna be a good chunk of next episode also set in omashu, i rly hope there's some nod to haru and that it's not smth they cut entirely. tbh, i said everything connects throughout atla's three seasons, and this rly makes me wonder if they get a s2, what they're planning on doing then. i thought before this came out that if they were gonna cut anything, that i actually didn't care for jet's episode that much, but if you cut out jet, then you get rid of one of the more iconic scenes of s2, if not the whole show, where he's being brainwashed by the dai li. everything connects. the friends you make along the way come back to lend their assistance. i really hope the rest of what they'll do with omashu is decent and not wasted time.

There was this studio that had brick walls. I was going for that kind of look, but someone took the space before me. I am the same way, I have a lot of paintings on my wall. It used to be a lot of dark paintings (my ex loves Halloween or spooky season) but since she took all that, I decided to hang the artworks I've done over the summer time.

When I build or buy my own house, I want to have a dark room to be able to do photography again. It's been my dream to have a small den where half of it is where I can paint, thne the other half is where I can develop photos.

That's a good idea, have the less used item on the bottom shelf. Cause in my place, it only comes with one cabinet for the pantry, its a tall cabinet too. Then the usual shelves for plates and cups. I hate that it's a small kitchen, but I like it at the same time lol

The clock had just struck twelve, marking the first hour of his birthday, and you had spent the past ten minutes crafting a text of four words that he would probably spend a mere three seconds skimming through. The thing is, if you were to be completely honest with yourself, two minutes is an underestimate of your total time wasted on this simple task; because truth is, you’ve been entranced by your daily reveries and nightly fantasies that were your dreams ever since your paths have intertwined for the first time on a project at work.

Your history with him began much farther into the past than five months back, however. Aloof, cold, yet chic, Jungkook and his nicely kempt, side-swept hair had caught the eyes of every girl in your orientation group just two years prior. Perhaps it was your preference for exuberant boys or your avoidance of bad boy lookalikes, but Jungkook had left little to no impression on you during the first half of the year. Sometimes you wonder if he, too, had failed to notice you.

Ironically, it was only when your second partner at work had pointed out the charming looks of the boy’s that you were reminded of his existence.

“Hey, you know that guy from across our station?” she whispers under an impending fit of giggles.

“Well, we’ve talked occasionally—” more interestingly, you’ve noticed his multiple failed attempts to befriend another man, Taehyung, who’s been pining for you in the past months… but you decide to keep that to yourself for the sake of Jungkook’s suave reputation “—but why?”

“Don’t you think he’s kind of cute?”

“Uh… I guess?”

It wasn’t a lie. Really. Precisely half a year ago, the boy was just another one of your colleagues with a slightly above average look. From meeting at orientation and occasionally bumping into each other in the coffee room, you had never paid much attention to him; but it’s almost as if your friend’s admiration had suddenly piqued a newfound interest in him… because the more you think about it, the more you’ve realized just how often you’ve crossed paths with this boy you’ve probably spoken to for less than a total of one minute. Now, you wonder: has he also come to recognize this oddity between you and him?

There was an undeniable connection, nonetheless. Between you and him, like two classmates sneaking peeks at the other, one knew of the other, despite the lack of effort to communicate. The opportunities to meet were endless, but neither made the leap to fully engage until the both of you recognized the other when you were partnered for a shared project just months prior—and ever since then, flutters of your heart has incorporated itself into your daily routine. His smirks at your dumb jokes, his primmed grin at your clumsiness, his divinely chiseled jawline, his subtle gestures of concern over your nightly walk home, and his hushed presentation of which his words were reserved for the occasional curt jokes and uncensored curses became his irressitable charm.

Before you knew it, your friends would watch you awe over his looks of which you would claim to be his only redeeming quality. Before you knew it, your feelings grew by the second but your heart shunned the possibility out of a last resort to save an impending ache.

He’s too good looking. Too many girls fawn over him. He has absolutely zero interest in you. He isn’t that great anyway. What does he have going for him other than that damn crooked grin of his? And his muscular build? And his overly explicit jokes that you never would have thought would come out of the mouth of a remote man like him?

Why does fate seem to perpetually tie you down to a man like him, time after time? Perhaps it’s the hopeless romantic in you that’s speaking, but from orientation to bump-ins both inside and outside of work, you’ve started to succumb to the idea of a destiny in which fate would inevitably bring you two together.

You would soon awaken to the next morning after a night long of anxious anticipation. Your heart would panic in a frenzy at the mere heart he had sent you as a reaction to your message.

3:04 A.M.

He must have been awake late into the night, probably playing his last round of Fortnite. You would probably tease him tomorrow over his obsession with computer games, as you always did, and he would probably laugh it off with a plea for you to stop your incessant teases.

...or, he was up with that one particular woman you had seen him chatting with at work. You were never the type to overly inspect punctuation use or time stamps—hell, you were never the one to chase in the first place—but why else would he be up so late on his birthday? The sighting of the two and their names that would pop up occasionally on your social media feed would always sting your chest—and ashamedly so.

She’s beautiful. She’s popular. She probably got along well with Jungkook—something which you never seemed to be capable of, for your eyes would waver and your mind would blank whenever you were around him. Jungkook probably saw much more in her than you. Even though you two were the familiar ones. Even though you knew him first. Even though fate provided you endless opportunities to seize yet you would never come to do.

This is why you deny this crush of yours with every ounce of your heart. This burning, unwarranted jealousy would be the bane of you. Your friends shall never hear of this pain nor of the butterflies in your stomach instigated by that boy’s simplest of gestures—he had replied to you with a heart, not to mention.

It’s pathetic, but it’s enough for your foolish self; because even now, at this very moment as you lay in bed with your phone over your chest and your lips stuck in a wide grin, you relish in the ephemeral heights of cloud nine.

Despite it all, you try to convince yourself: this would be nothing more than an infatuation, for something tells you your heart could not handle the truth of his whereabouts.

He doesn’t realize it but an evident, crooked smile presses against his lips. She’s the first and only notification that lights up his phone screen. Aside from the distant lights of the cityscape dozens of floors below, her message illuminates his eyes amidst the darkness of the hotel room.

She’s the first to remember, he repeats to himself silently, the first to wish him well.

“What are you looking at?”

With a simple click, he turns his phone off right as the bare chest of a woman spreads warmth against his back. She begins to press firm kisses down his neck and shoulders as her hands explored his hard abdomen along with the domains of what laid beneath the zippers to his pants.

“Let me guess,” she muses at the lack of a response to her touches, a rare occasion for him, “is it Y/N?”

“Why do you care?” he says after a stagnant pause.

“I don’t… unless you like her,” she watches him as he does her through the floor-length mirror. “What’s she doing texting you at midnight anyway? Something special today?”

“Fuck if I know,” he mutters when she slips her hands underneath his waistbands.”

“Does she like you?”

The boy chuckles amusedly, “the hell? No. I’m nothing but deadweight to her for our project.”

“Did you meet her through this project?”

“No. We’ve crossed paths multiple times before,” he recalls the shifty gaze of hers with a grin. “I don’t think she likes me.”

“Oh? What’s there not to like?” she marvels at his muscular stature as her hands went to work. “What if she does like you, though?”

Jungkook nearly bursts into laughter—or at least the most of a laugh he could muster. The thought of Y/N’s admiration amuses him almost just as much as her peculiar actions, from her constantly flickering eyes that would avoid his gaze to the dozens of times he had easily spotted her in a crowd of many in locations that could never be by mere happenstance.

“No,” he muses, “why would she?”

With a meek smile and a cautious heart, she peers up to meet his eyes, “and do you… like her…?”

Like her?

“No,” the grin from the joke before disappears from his lips, for his answer was uttered with sincerity. “Not that way. We’re barely friends…”

...at least to her.

The girl’s lips stretch from ear to ear in delight. Grabbing his phone and tossing it to the side with a newly found confidence, she turns him around to place a kiss to his lips.

“Then why do you keep smiling at your phone like that?”

“I am? Damn, the fuck’s wrong with me?” he quips with a lopsided grin. “Another round?”

The girl squeals when he roughly pushes her toward the bed, the back of her knees hitting the edge as she topples onto the mattress in a fit of giggles.

The boy doesn’t know it, but the girl takes notice of the knitted brows of his that told her his mind was elsewhere. He approaches her quicker than usual, his hands are rushed, and his lips are absentminded with the sole purpose of pursuing pleasure all in a fruitless attempt to bury his thoughts elsewhere.

Why was he grinning? What did Y/N think of him? And what is it about her that amuses him so?

Through the remaining hours of dawn, from a room that towers over the city where he figures she must be indulging in her favorite mochi ice cream, he tries to convince himself: she would be nothing more than an infatuation, for something tells him his heart isn’t prepared for its own truth.
