I absolutely love every time other people find something out about Steve and are just like ???

I wonder if any of his student’s parents are fans of Eddie’s but have no idea their kid’s teacher is married to him (perhaps finding out at career day 👀)

I love the thought of some rock n roll dad (aka: the guy in the minivan blaring Rage Against the Machine during morning drop off (aka: aka: my dad)) meeting his kid’s teacher during open house and seeing a picture on his desk of him and guitar legend, Eddie Munson.

Steve’s in the middle of explaining the curriculum for the year when Rock N Roll Dad points to a picture of him and Eddie backstage at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame last year when Eddie presented like, “You like that guy?”

Steve looks from Rock N Roll Dad to the picture and then back, “Yeah, you could say that.”

Then he goes back to talking about what they should expect in terms of homework and that was that until parent/teacher conferences.

The first thing Rock N Roll Dad clocks in the new picture on Steve’s desk. It replaced the Eddie Munson one with a new one of the two of them in the parking lot after a local show. Steve’s got his arm thrown around Eddie’s neck, both of them smiling wide, and Gareth is in the background giving them bunny ears.

Rock N Roll Dad points to the framed picture like, “Pretty cool to have met ‘em.”  

“Yeah,” Steve nods. “It’s one of the best things that’s ever happened to me.”

Rock N Roll Dad is not gay himself but he is not one of those ultra straight Corroded Coffin fans that liked to pretend that half the band isn’t queer. He was actually watching the MTV Music Awards show that Eddie publicly came out at by declaring his love for some guy named Steve, and actually.

Rock N Roll Dad thought it made a lot of sense that Eddie Munson was gay because well. A lot of his songs were… phallic.

So, he knows.

He knows that Eddie Munson is gay and that he’s married to some guy whose name isn’t even listed on his Wikipedia page, and he knows that he lives in Chicago, but what he doesn’t know is why he never put two and two together and got Steve Harrington.

There’s a different picture of Eddie Munson on Mr. Harrington’s desk when Rock N Roll Dad goes to talk to him after his kid gets detention for being a little shithead. There is framed original concept art for CC’s first album on the wall behind Steve when Rock N Roll Dad checks in on his kid during a zoom study session.

Hell, Rock N Roll Dad follows Eddie on Tiktok.

He has seen the ass shots that Eddie has posted of his husband in his running shorts, and he did think, yeah, that’s a great ass. He didn’t know he was thinking that about his kid’s math teacher!!

It’s not even Career Day when he discovers it. It’s the day before when they can set up their booths in the gym because Rock N Roll Dad may be a heavy metal fan always, but he’s also an accountant from 8:30 to 4:30 Monday thru Friday.

 He’s struggling to keep his poster board up when in walks guitar legend, Eddie Munson. He’s carrying a box, following behind a guy carrying an iguana.

Rock N Roll Dad abandons everything and walks over to the booth across the way. He can hear the two bickering with each other but before he can say anything, Steve Harrington is there and he is distressed, “Why do you have that?!”

“Her name is Leia, Steve,” Dustin says, “and she has separation anxiety.”

Steve opens his mouth like he wants to complain but doesn’t even know where to begin so he just accepts it, “Is she going to eat somebody?”

“That happened one time!”

Eddie Munson, infamous guitarist that lived on Rock N Roll Dad’s walls as a teenager, uses the opportunity to slide up next to Mr. Harrington and wrap an arm around him. He kisses his cheek, “Baby, we’re here to help.”

“You’re here to guilt me into letting you be a part of Career Day.”

“I can multitask, babe,” Eddie grinned, still so close to Steve that his smile touches his cheek. Steve just sags against him and Rock N Roll Dad thinks, oh. He thinks, oh, shit.

“You have a fan,” Steve mumbles, pulling away a little. It takes Rock N Roll Dad a second to realize that they’re talking about him and then he thinks, fuck.

“Hey – Hi. Uh.” He stops, thinks about lying and saying he needs tape or something, but settles on, “I didn’t know my kid’s teacher married you.”

“Technically, I married him.”

“Technically, I married both of you,” Dustin pointed out. “I officiated the wedding.”

“Ah,” Rock N Roll Dad says because what else is there to say. “Big fan.”

“Yeah, I can tell.”

This is a 1 on 1 fight that contains 3 rounds. You win one fight, you go to the next round. At the start of the tournament everyone has taken a long rest, and between each round they get only a short rest.

Adaine Abernant

For: Wizards have been the strongest class since 1st edition and it ain't changing now baby. One portent roll for each fight is enough to guarantee a turn to cast a wizard save-or-suck spell.

Against: This girl killed one person ONE time and had a break down about it, has frequent panic attacks, and her AC is 15. She has no real defensive options and will die as all wizards die: with an axe in their nervous system.

Fabian Aramais Seacaster

For: Short rests? Sounds like a fighter's adventuring day! Three attacks + superiority dice + spell slot smiting + Action surge to do it again is killing everyone but Gorgug before they can even get a turn.

Against: Melee fighters, famously, can't do shit all if you stand over there ->, and a single reroll for a save-or-suck isn't going to be very much against any spellcaster who, dare I say, casts more than 1 (that is, one) spell in the fight. Insult his dad and bait him into doing something stupid, GG EZ

Figueroth Faeth

For: Literal archdemon resists the biggest energy damage types, tons of spell slots and warlock shenanigans to play you like a fiddle, then smite you to death when you're finally just trying to get anything done.

Against: "I have no single target DAMAGE" - quote from Emily. This bitch got no single target damage and these are 1 v 1 fights. Yeah Paladins can nova but they have no spell slot regeneration, after the first fight, which you KNOW she will spam her whole arsenal, girl will be all out of resources. More likely to disguise self to be the referee and skateboard away.

Gorgug Thistlespring

For: Did you see him solo a purple worm in the last stand?? Able to concentrate on artificer spells while in a rage too. THE classic 1v1 class, resists your damage and crits you every turn.

Against: Single minded to the extreme. Spellcasting is the classic counter to an angy barbarian. Yeah he has mindless rage, poor Fig, but anyone with any CC that isn't a charm effect won't even give him a target to try to charge down. Mention his parent's lawnmower and defeat him while he is distracted.

Kristen Applebees

For: Clerics are strong! We can pretend all we like that healers are boring but she can hit you hard and keep herself topped out on HP, AC, Save bonuses, and do you in with spirit guardians and spiritual weapon with no problem. You see the muscles on that girl? The gay one, I mean, not the straight british one.

Against: 4 dexterity

Riz "The Ball" Gukgak

For: These bitches are BLIND blind. Reliable talent stealth checks puts him above 20 every time. Sneak attack damage won't explode anyone but the most squishy, but is extremely reliable with a bonus action hide. He will eat your bones.

Against: Actual skill monkey. He has a cool gun but he's an arcane trickster built for non-combat. Investigate an arm around his neck and pickpocket a knife into his belly and you've got the win easy. Man couldn't even get onto the owl bears until there was no one left to swap in except him. Will probably be too exhausted to put up a good fight.

I never watched the last dsmp streams cuz 1) techno wasn’t there, what’s the point and 2) I knew they wanted season 2 but I had a feeling it wasn’t gonna happen, so I knew the ending wouldn’t be satisfying. So anyways here’s what I wanted to happen/ happened in my delusions :

- Tubbo and Tommy blow up Dream with the nukes

- Jack was there and saw it bc why tf not?

- there’s basically no forms of governments left so the syndicate members are like ‘ok let’s chill out’

- dream tried to hide the revive book but Techno knew where he’d hide it, found it, and then revived ranboo. No shut up I’m not hearing criticism on this one.

- techno then proceeds to burn it bc there they’re all tired af so he’s pretty sure there won’t be any more wars

- Phil is like ‘awesome let me go be the dad that I couldn’t be for Wilbur to Tommy’ bc I’m extremely desperate for the SBI dynamic ( Ik he’s not a good parent, I KNOW. Let me live a little )

- Tommy, Tubbo and ranboo go to therapy ( or maybe the whole server bc they ALL need it )

- Tommy pick up new hobbies like gardening n embroidery

- Tubbo moves in next to ranboo with Michael

- Tommy shows up one day to be the cool wine aunt and never leaves so he lives there now

- techno builds a bigger house but doesn’t say anything

- Tommy also happens to find pots of potatoes everywhere in his garden as gifts, wonder who that’s from

- tubbo and Ranboo enjoy gay marriage ( I am dying bc cc! Beeduo haven’t talked in centuries, ok? )

- puffy and Nikki get married ( let’s go lesbians )

- Jack cries at the wedding bc he’s proud of his sister ( Jack and Nikki siblings headcannon real, fight me )

- techno and Tommy eventually forgive each other

- Tommy teaches Phil how to sew

- Jack and phil try to build a car based on a dream Jack had and failed ( don’t ask why idk )

- Jack also ends up working with Nikki to build Phil that mechanical wing typa thing ( for context I was thinking of how to train your dragon so it’s based off that )

- he can’t fully fly but it helps

- boom boom boy ( Wilbur ) is at who knows where

- techno and Nikki help Tubbo build a bee sanctuary at l’manburgs grave

- Michael and techno bond wee

- yeah so has everyone chills tf out and lives happily ever after

Idea

Halfway through summer there's an event ((involving his parents, probably getting caught saying something they shouldn't in front of David or Gwen by accident)) that leads to Max being told that after camp, he's going into the foster care system and he isn't excited and practically terrified cause it means he might never see any of his friends or David or Gwen ever again. Cut to one day him sitting in his tent one day and Ered just skates in like

"Yo dude, heard you're going into the foster care, i got some hot tips and tricks"

And they spent like an entire day talking about it, Ered finds out how shitty Max's parents were and is able to force him to tell her his worries about never seeing any of his friends again and Max finds out that Ered's been in the system since she was a baby and all the things she learned from being stuck in it for like 6 years. Stuff like:

"Pray to god you get sent to a co-ed orphanage instead of a full boys one, it's vicious there"

"Don't stop being evil to get adopted, i was evil and i got two cool dads"

And they're like weirdly close by the end of the day but they found they're shockingly similar to one another, even about not admitting how similar they are to one another.

But in the end it doesn't even matter because Ered's dads just adopt Max on the spot but they're still pretty close

I guess some extra Ered + Max sibling stuff

-One time Nikki pissed Max off bad and he told her Ered had a girlfriend, she cried for like 5 hours and she still hasn't forgiven him for it.

-Sometimes they call each other by their full names to tease each other

-Any time either of them brings a partner home, they tell the most embarrassing stories while calling them by their full names "Oh wanna hear the story of how Meredith broke her leg at camp?" "And here's the time Pops taught my baby brother Maxwell how to swim"

-They share a room and like... half the room is painted pink with skateboards hung up on the wall and posters and trophies and the other half is beige with a single pile of clothes, a bunch of boxes that are probably hiding drugs, a picture of Max with his friends, a picture of Max with his family and a plastic trophy that says "#1 brother dickwad"

-Ered's got the same one but instead it says "#1 sister bitch"

-Max is a conspiracy theorist but since his dads literally work for the FBI, he sorta just asks them now, he's gotten so many weird answers he doesn't even ask anymore.

-Dolph comes over a lot so Max has to be nicer to him or else he gets the sibling shoulder punch of doom.

-Due to this Max sometimes catching himself standing up for Dolph at school, one time a bunch of kids from Dolph's class started bullying him so Max just sorta walked up behind them with Nikki and Neil who were all way bigger and scarier.

-They totally do extreme sports together, but like...not olympic extreme...but just deadlier versions of already existing games "Wanna play extreme hide and seek?" "How can you make hide and seek extreme?" "Wait till we pull out the spiked ball and chain, motherfucker"

-Even if he can be a dick sometimes, Max drops in a good few words about Nikki to Ered, but it's pretty obvious she's not interested. "There's no cute girls to date..." "how bout' nikki?" "Eh"

-Likewise, Ered drops in a few words for Preston. She's just way less subtle. "Preston bet me 50 dollars he could get you to date him" "Pay him the 50 dollars, he'll need it"

(I know I'm rambling i just want there to be more adoption scenarios for max than just david and gwen, spice it up ppl seriously, even Harrison has at least two)

So this thought occurred to me earlier while dming my best friend some camp camp stuff I found

There was a lot of cute fanart of Erid and her Cool Gay Dads™ and I realized something kinda depressing.

Erid’s dads are gay, meaning that they can’t biologically have children, meaning Erid is adopted. We don’t know why she had the chance to be adopted by Cool Gay Dads. She could have suffered something similar to Max, with an abusive home.

Which makes me want Dadvid to become canon even more
