Freya Mikaelson ( @viikingwitch ) said ‘ why are you here ? ’
‘ I know you probably don’t hold many good opinion of my kind ━ trust me, I don’t blame you ━ ’ Angel knows Nephilim could be so cruel, unjustifiably, to those who were not of their own angelic blood. Or even those who were. ‘ But please believe me when I say I want to help. ’

The ship questions and rating for: Whatever your favorite ship ever is! P.S. Your tumblr is awesome.
Sorry it took so long for me to answer, I’ve been debating with myself over what my favorite ship is for days. :) Also I’m super happy you enjoy my blog! :)))
So, without further ado, the ship ask for Jace and Clary (aka Clace) from the Mortal Instruments Series (and also the Shadowhunters series on Freeform)
Side Note (spoiler-ish) for anyone who hasn’t watched the end of Season 2a of the show or read far enough in the book series: they aren’t actually siblings. :)
Alright now for the actual ask thing :)
Who’s the cuddler: Jace, for sure. He puts up this whole tough guy front, but honestly he’s always trying to cuddle with Clary every chance he gets.
Who makes the bed: Jace because he’s been raised in the institute for most of his life by the Lightwoods and they are super neat and organized, while Clary is much less organized.
Who wakes up first: Jace usually wakes up first because, following the Dark War, he never sleeps very well, if at all.
Who has the weird taste in music: Jace, even though he swears up and down that it’s Clary because she listens to so much mundane music, but Jace’s taste in music consists completely of songs he’s overheard while out hunting demons in the mundane world and the ones Clary sings in the shower.
Who is more protective: Clary. Jace went through hell and back at the hands of Sebastian and Clary is fiercely protective of him now more than ever.
Who sings in the shower: Clary.
Who cries during movies: Clary, but Jace definitely cried during a Nicolas Sparks movie and tried to hide it.
Who spends the most while out shopping: Clary will spend more on a shopping trip but Jace will spend the most on a single item, which is usually some kind of weapon or a new leather jacket.
Who kisses more roughly: Clary most of the time because, despite knowing how in love Clary is with him, Jace is still sometimes scared that she might leave him because, aside from her and the Lightwoods, he hasn’t had a constant good thing in his life and he’s a little timid.
Who is more dominate: Jace ;)
Gets jealous the most: Jace because, as mentioned above, he’s afraid she might leave him for something better.
One Headcannon I have: (I think about this one a lot when I think about post dark war Clace) On nights when Jace is plagued with nightmares about dying and Sebastian and can’t sleep, he pretends to sleep when Clary wakes up and takes a shower just so that he can sit outside the bathroom door and listen to her sing in the shower because it makes him feel better for some reason he can never quite figure out.
Nicknames: Clace
My rating of the ship from 1-10: Well you asked for my favorite, so definitely 11/10.

Unpopular (personal) opinion: The Mortal Instruments:City of Bones was a better adaptation of the books than Shadowhunters. In this essay I will
No, but seriously. The movie carries way more direct quotes from the books, and the general vibe fits better. As much as I love Katherine Mcnamara, Lily's Clary has more of the soft silk over a steel interior than she does, Kat's Clary is still a steel core, just like 20 layers of velvet over top. Lily's Clary carries that Shadowhunter spirit a lot deeper and a lot faster
Movie Jace absolutely carries more of the sarcastic, self assured asshole vibe that books Jace carries, and Jamie's thin and sharp look is much closer to the Jace I see in my head than Dom's more rugged looks
I do enjoy Matt's Alec better, though, and Harry's Magnus
Movie Izzy can fuck me up any day of the week, she's fucking gorgeous and I would die for her, end of story
But all in all, imo people slept way too hard on the COB movie, it was *way* closer to the books than Shadowhunters was, and as much as I do enjoy Shadowhunters, TMI:COB was much better and remains my favorite adaptation and I really wish that it had been given more of a chance by the fandom
