Being a fledgling fan of Transplanar is great because it's making me go "wait a minute... are there enough butches in my campaign setting?"

And then when I start brainstorming a new butch, I go "hmmm... is this adequate?"

And then a little spirit in the shape of Connie Chang appears in my mind palace and says, "make them even more butch. Also, make at least two butches if you're adding characters, why would you leave it at one?"

"Thank you, specter of Connie Chang," I say, and then furiously start typing in my lore doc.

Mobius says "buddy" but his hands say "mine"

It has become evident that Mobius M. Mobius operates under the belief that maintaining constant physical contact with Loki Laufeyson is both necessary and expected. Mobius is just as bad as loki, maybe worse, because he does it so casually.

Mobius treats touching Loki like it’s part of his TVA-issued training. Standard protocol. Routine maintenance. mobius is so handsy with Loki. like absurdly so. like “i was assigned this god and now i must handle him at all times” levels of physical contact.

Mobius executes all physical contact with the effortlessness of someone who has done this a thousand times before. He never hesitates, never second-guesses. It’s all instinct

The man does not need to look at Loki to reach for him. Half the time he’s still talking, barely paying attention, but the hand lands. It’s automatic. Muscle memory.

Mobius does not believe in personal space when it comes to Loki. If Loki is within grabbing distance, he is grabbing.

Mobius M. Mobius touches Loki like it’s his job. Like it’s second nature. Like he doesn’t know how not to. like he’s saying you don’t have to go. And Loki, who spent lifetimes being untouchable, unreachable, a trick of the light, lets him.

Mobius never holds him down, he grounds him. every touch is steadying, reassuring, saying Im here, I see you, I know you.

Imagine being loki. you are untouchable. you are elusive. you have spent your entire existence slipping through people’s fingers, refusing to be held. and then you meet this man. This ridiculous little TVA agent who just. grabs you. and doesn’t let go. and for some reason??? you let him. it’s all so quiet, so natural, like neither of them ever learned another way to speak. so they just touch. in small, unconscious ways. like it’s normal. like they’re allowed.

This is husband behavior. this is emotional support norse god-wrangling behaviour. this is “stay close to me” behaviour.

Okok so the chaos protocol is one of my special interests, and I love the character Xainan Esch (our favourite absent cowboy ghost dad), so I drew him!!

This is based off of a minifellas tutorial by @millastaria!! I love their style and wanted to try drawing something similar :)

hello, bossman!

ive been wondering if there’s any words you particularly like when writing. i’ve noticed jonny, for example, uses the word “acrid” far more often than is reasonable than an average enjoyer of the word. also apotheosis but he’s explained that one! so: any words you’re fond of and use more than reasonably? (or perfectly reasonably. you’re the bossman after all)

Goddam "apotheosis". (sighs) So if you want a deep cut on @jonnywaistcoat he loves the phrase "burst like a rotten grape". I think @rq-producerperson have caught him adding it to Protocol on three separate occasions normally accompanied by the world "Bulbous" and we have edited it out. I try to work in the word "Maelstrom" in every creative work I do. I also try to sneak in arbitrary asinine alliteration as its awesome to assimilate.

Hi April, I hope you're well!

I have been looking through the CAT numbers/letters on the cases and noticed that while almost every single case has R before the A, B, and or C (ex: CAT2RB2377), the cases in Putting Down Roots (CAT2C8175) and Taking Notes (CAT3C7494) are curiously missing this.

Normally, I wouldn't think too much of it (after all, the A rating only appears twice total), but I've also been looking at the wiki and the German spreadsheet from the ARG and they both seem to imply that the R is standard and should be there.

Is the R being missing something intentional? or was this just a typo?
