Being a fledgling fan of Transplanar is great because it's making me go "wait a minute... are there enough butches in my campaign setting?"
And then when I start brainstorming a new butch, I go "hmmm... is this adequate?"
And then a little spirit in the shape of Connie Chang appears in my mind palace and says, "make them even more butch. Also, make at least two butches if you're adding characters, why would you leave it at one?"
"Thank you, specter of Connie Chang," I say, and then furiously start typing in my lore doc.

Gnawing on Sing. The expectation to be the perfect daughter? The path all laid out? The cheerful outside that if you look close enough has cracks? The thought of "I should want this, this is what I should be"?

The Chaos Protocol: Arc One Spoilers—
Anyone else think about how Connie made it so everyone had a ‘last moment’ with Sing before the big final battle? Anyone think about how they so badly wanted to tell Seir about how she liked the two of them better as a duo and wanted it to be like that forever? Anyone else thinking about how badly that failed— how Seir wasn’t present during the conversation and how Sing was never able to tell them how she felt??? Anyone ever think about how all through the whole climax all Seir ever hears is ‘you aren’t my brother, you are my doom’?
ANYONE ELSE THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH SEIR PROBABLY THINKS ABOUT THAT??,???!
..I do.

Hello I’m back with my favourite for of character art except this time I couldn’t for the life of me make Kore look like herself so here we are
This is Kore if they were in Transplanar RPG’s Chaos protocol as an agent of T.R.A.N.S. It’s their second main campaign and I am currently about halfway through the second arc, out of the three available(I’m a slow listener ok?). And the characters go around their multiverse saving the day and getting traumatised :} So that’s what I did for prompt 15 as a kind of DnD au. Anyways, a rant under the cut
I’ll try to keep this as spoiler light as possible but there’s going to be some heavy ones for the Second Stranger campaign and the first two arcs of Chaos Protocol and both GODKILLERs(I think)
so with that out of the way, Transplanar has this idea of a multiverse where each world is it’s unique independent world, not like the „subtle differences” thing you would get most of the time. And TRANS is this Syndicate that does around to those worlds nudging chosen ones in those worlds in the right direction, and each time they go there their designs change a bit to fit the world so of course I went with that.
Anyway, Transplanar also has these precepts, Fate, Magic and Oblivion that are all these things and also characters, not to get too deep but Oblivion is a basically the titular Stranger in Second Stranger and it ends with like all the precepts coming in and stuff, it gets messy to explain, but Oblivion ends worlds, they’re the end of everything, and the reason many people join TRANS(which was made by Fate) is because Oblivion destroyed theirs.
And I imagine that here Kore’s world would get almost destroyed by this manifestation of Oblivion I would call Ink Storms that would just disintegrate everything they came across. Now, as you can see, little Kore used to have wings, she lost them in one such storm. I wanted to keep with the theme of Kore joining a well meaning but corrupted(?) organisation because she wanted to save her sisters, wether that be begging Grayson Gunn “no, not them, me take me” or wrapping her sisters in her wings, hoping they won’t all die. Now, they didn’t, one of TRANS’ strike teams came in to save the day, and wether they should or not, explained that these storms were fragments of Oblivion and that they fight against them. And Kore has this insatiable curiosity in her, right? So she begs to be able to join, not only to protect other worlds but also to be able to see Oblivion again.
I already mentioned strike teams, they are these four people teams that go together on missions and such, I think that Kore would be in a team with Kit(obviously) Adrian and Micah, since in the main timeline they would be the closest to a friend group Kore has. Another character I would mention, is my upcoming Dire Wolf oc, Alina, who would be part of that strike team that came in to save Kore’s world. She is also the Wolf hero that made Kore connect werewolves to gt but thats a story for a different post.
either way, I just wanted to make a bunch of different designs for if Kore was a PC in the CHAOS multiverse, so the one with purple wings is what she’s wear in the first arc world in the Wildsea, which is basically a sea but made of giant trees, and it has different cities and such and one Kingdom is just built in the sky and has these winged forces that I think Kore would just be elated to fly again after so long. The one she wears a skirt in is the City of Mist that the GM spun around and based around Chinese mythology, so I went and tried to do something similar.
Also this is for me but the way Oblivion manifested as the Stranger was, amongst other things, a giant Chrysalis made of wings so I thought it would be interesting for Kore to lose and regain her wings through Oblivion, I have this scene in mind where at first the wings are white(like the chrysalis) and then fill with, one by one, all the colours of the rainbow that would then start mixing and turn crow black, glistening with those rainbow colours.
well thats a lot, thank you for indulging me I already have the next prompt queued up and ideas for the rest.
If there are any nonessential words or sentences I apologise, my autocorrect is having a stroke and I am delirious from how late it is and I’m mildly sick

CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE ARC 3 FINALE OF THE CHAOS PROTOCOL ON TRANSPLANAR RPG??? (Spoilers ahead ofc [for every arc so far]) SO MANY EMOTIONS!! HOW DOES THIS SHOW MANAGE TO HURT ME IN A WAY THAT BARELY NEEDS ANY COMFORT?? HOW DOES IT MAKE ME LOVE IT?? Ok I'm done yelling. Not raving though. I /know/ I'm gonna be watching that finale again real soon. I might rewatch the whole arc idek atp. It's s o much and I don't know how they've managed to make something so heartwrenching and beautiful. I will probably be reeling from that for days. I love every pc characters' story lines.
I have so much to say about all of it. I could go on for a frankly obscene amount of time about TCP. So I'll just put this one truth out there for rn. Transplanar's The Chaos Protocol is an amazing work of art that is an intense labor of love and I am eternally grateful that I get to witness it. I would recommend anyone to go watch it (it's on YouTube.) and be mindful of the content warnings, they are there for a reason. Like fr.
Much love to any of the cast and/or crew that happen upon this 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾.

Jaune the Strategist
Jaune: Um… General Ironwood? I have a question.
Ironwood: What is it Mr. Arc?
Jaune: Why not release the video footage of Tyrian killing a bunch of people?
Clover: Are you crazy? If we release such a video it cause panic in Mantle.
Jaune: I hear you. But... isn’t the Atlas military already being framed for countless murders?
Ironwood: Yes.
Jaune: And no one in Mantle is willing to follow protocol because they don’t trust us right?
Ironwood: Well... yes.
Jaune: Okay. So why not use this to our advantage?
Ruby: Explain.
Jaune: I mean come on. Seriously? We have proof. We have video display. And if this has been happening for a while then we have dead bodies that can hold our case.
Ironwood: Mr. Arc, I’m going to need you to further elaboration.
Jaune: What’s there to- Look, Tyrian has been killing people for a while, right?
Qrow: Yeah.
Jaune: We have video proof that he committed the massacre at Robin’s party. We could just report this and clear Penny’s name.
Ironwood: That is true.
Jaune: Plus with the few bodies Tyrian left behind, which I’m hoping your Atlas soldiers investigated completely. Like the time and location of death. As well as how they died. Basically if Tyrian left multiple victims, can’t we compare them to the other corpses from the party.
Ironwood: Huh.
Jaune: Not only that but Tyrian has a poisonous tail. Didn’t some of them have a hint poison consumed or at least small pick to their bodies.
Ironwood: Oh. That is something to consider.
Clover: Okay, but still doesn’t change the fact if we tell the people a killer is on the loose it will cause panic.
Jaune: True. But it could also make people listen. Think about it, they’re already being invaded by grimm everyday. And now they have killer amongest them. Wouldn’t that force them to reconsider they’re options?
Clover: … My… My Oum he could right.
Marrow: Okay but what about Robyn?
Jaune: Mantle’s Champion? Happy Huntresses? Are you serious? Do you honestly think she would not make a killer her top priority?
Marrow: Huh.
Jaune: I’m just saying, why are we keeping this under raps and quickly turning to Martial law?
Ironwood: Wow… anything else Mr.Arc
Jaune: Why frame Penny?
Ruby: She’s the Protector of Mantle.
Jaune: She also a robot. With a human soul. Who recorded everything! Who so far never got hacked? So why her specifically? If anything I would have got Penny out the way and framed one of the Ace-ops. Specifically Marrow. Hell why not frame Robyn herself?
Marrow: Whoa why me?
Jaune: You know why.
Blake: But tell us why.
Ironwood: Damn he’s right. That absolutely makes sense considering he’s a Faunus and recent member of the Ace ops.
Jaune: Exactly.
Blake: Are you two serious?!
Jaune: Blake think about how much conflict that would cause. A faunus in the Atlas military. An Ace operative killed and injured a bunch of innocent people. Humans and faunuses mind you. Not only would that cause division amongest the people of Mantle but the school and the soldiers.
Ironwood: He’s right. We have faunases who attend this school and are apart our units.
Jaune: It’ll be chaos. Racism and Hatred in the air. And with that much negativity the grimm attacks would be sky rocketing to the masses. Screw trying to get Amity Arena up we might as well have focused our time on containment. Hell that would been a better reason to initiate Martial law. Something I think Robyn would agree to. Considering Fiona is a faunus and her teammate.
Ironwood: So basically framing Penny was-
Jaune: A stupid idea? ABSO-FREAKEN-LUTLY!! Who ever made this plan had to be dumb as bricks.
Watts: *sneezes*
Jaune: I’m mean now I might as well ask this question. Has anyone ever disagreed with Penny’s creation?
Ironwood: I mean-… ... actually... yes we had a few people who disagreed.
Jaune: Also if you have a file for Tyrian, then what about Cinder, Emerald, Mercury or Hazel?
Ironwood: Why yes we---- Hold up. You all saw Hazel?
Jaune: Yeah.
Ironwood: And you survived?
Nora: Yes. Though with our tails between our legs. How do you know him?
Ironwood: How do you think I lost half of my body?
Jaune: Damn. And I thought Ren and Qrow had it worse. How powerful is he?
Ironwood: He crippled Ozpin.
Oscar: (And he said he stood a chance. He could’ve killed us both.)
Jaune: (We’ll most definitely need to jump him.) An-anyways, back on topic. So, who out all the other people were against the Penny project? Simply put who hates Pietro the most?
Ironwood: Well… there was Professor Watts.
Jaune: Professor Watts?
Ironwood: He was an inventor as well. He was even to soul creator of the Atlas robots you’re associated with. However he died in accident.
Jaune: How long ago?
Ironwood: Months ago?
Jaune: Okay now that’s weird.
Weiss: So what Jaune? He died.
Winter: Yes but I understand why Mr.Arc is suspicious. In Cinder’s file, after committing four first degree murders she disappeared.
Jaune: Then she suddenly appears back at Beacon with a way to hack the military.
Clover: Tyrian was captured but then escaped and he disappeared as well.
Qrow: Then he came out nowhere and tried to capture Ruby.
Ironwood: Hazel disappeared once too.
Oscar: And then I saw him on my way to Mistral.
Jaune: Is any of this making sense?
Ironwood: Yes. Clover I need you to follow up on some the victims of the previous crimes. And Winter I need you look into Watt’s case. Lets make sure he’s dead. If not we need evidence.
Winter: Yes sir.
Ironwood: Well, Mr. Arc it seem I underestimated your intelligence. I will not call in Martial law.
Jaune: No-no. Keep it in mind.
Nora: SAY WHAT?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE TRYING TO AVOID IT!!
Jaune: I am. But Robyn could still cause trouble for us down the road. We need to be ready when she could take things too far.
Nora: But-
Ironwood: It’s only if she continues to be an obstacle.
Nora: *silent*
Ironwood: Alright. Everyone back to work. Keep an eye out for Tyrian. And if you learn anything you report to me immediately.
Ace-ops: Yes sir.
Ren: Yes sir.
*JNPR Dorm Room*
Nora: Jaune, I can’t believe you sided with Ironwood.
Ren: Nora, it is a constitutions plan. It’s not going to happen.
Nora: I’m just saying the people of Mantle are already having a hard time.
Ren: I understand but-
Nora: But what? That getting Amity Arena up is more important than helping the people.
Ren: What about the world? What about all of Remnant?
Nora: How can help the world if we can’t help a country?!
Ren: We can’t always focus on the small things Nora. We need to consider the bigger picture.
Nora: So after all we’ve been through before you want to throw that away?
Ren That not what I’m saying. I-
Jaune: ENOUGH!!
Jaune: Please. Stop arguing.
Ren: Jaune, look I want to say-
Jaune: Stop. Sit. Both of you.
Nara and Ren: *sit separately from each other*
Jaune: Look, Nora, I understand. I know Mantle going through hard times. Due to the trading routes and transportation being limited, people are starting to struggle to get in and out of city. Stores and companies are closed so people are having trouble finding work. And without work, they can’t make money. And without money they can’t pay rent nor provide for their families. Basically majority of those people might as well not have homes soon.
Nora: Then you know why Martial law can’t happen. It will make things worse.
Jaune: Yes. That is why I would rather keep it as a last resort. However, with Mantle’s lack of funding and resources, I almost can’t blame Robyn for what’s she’s doing. However, two wrongs don’t make a right.
Nora: Hmm.
Ren: Well said Jaune.
Jaune: And you. Don’t think I’m openly siding with Ironwood. I only did that because I need everyone on the same page.
Ren: Jaune.
Jaune: At Beacon, Amber, Ozpin and Pyrrha died. Then the world got divide. Mistral, we almost died.
Nora: We survived.
Jaune: Through the skin of our teeth Nora! We got lucky! And Hazel, Emerald and Mercury stilled escaped!
Nora: *hates when he’s right*
Jaune: Now Tyrian is here. And even if my theory on Watts is correct, we still don’t know what they’re up to. Not to mention, we’re keeping secrets too. Especially, about Salem., who may have sent them here to retrieve the lamp. And worse, kill Oscar.
Nora and Ren: … … …
Jaune: Look… … Basically what I’m saying we need to be careful. We are no longer students. We are hunters. Every move we make could jeopardize what we are trying to accomplish. Even the people we trust could be a problem if we’re not careful.
Nora: So you don’t trust Ruby?
Jaune: Yeah. But keeping these secrets could get us in trouble, or most likely, have a gun to our heads. And Ironwood has plenty of them compared to us.
Ren: So what should we do?
Jaune: We do what we started this journey for. We search for answers.

Hi, love the Uzi and N parent fic, gives me entertainment during school hours, say, do you know of any other good fics to read? I get bored easily :3
Have some general suggestions and some about similar fics to mine. All of these feature Nuzi to various degrees:
Servant and Subject by Skak - Pseudo-swap AU (Worker N, Solver Uzi). Uzi is captured from Copper-9 and placed into Tessa's observation at a lab. Tessa's personal assistant N meets and forms a bond with Uzi and the two then lock sights on freedom. It's a very fun take on a swap and I highly recommend. Ongoing.
by chance by spero11 - Human AU. Uzi accidentally meets N, a popular streamer, while playing an MMO. Romance ensues. It's a fun "will they, won't they" fic, but maybe I'm just not super into that because by the time the holiday arc rolled around I found myself exhausted by this. I've since dropped it because my interest in it faded after "will they, won't they" got answered, but it's worth a look. Ongoing.
Guardian Angel by Rayj4ck - Oneshot written post-episode one. I won't spoil what this one is exactly about, but it's about Uzi and her titular angel. Would also rec taking a look at Rayj4ck's other fics.
tiny angels by lightxsheep71 -Human AU. Uzi gets pregnant and chaos and fluff ensues. Highly rec if you like my parent fic. Ongoing.
Sun and the Moon by VexInheritance - Written post-episode one. Character study of Uzi and N. Has the honor of being the first MD fic I ever read and a damn good one at that. Complete.
Secrets kept, locked like lips by TheRantingSage - Based off the episode 7 theory that Uzi and N were secretly dating since camp. I didn't finish this one, but I think it's worth a look. Complete.
Baby Protocol by BlueSkyHeadLeft010 - Canon-divergent. N is pregnant, and that's a problem. Rec if you're a fan of the weird, unconventional, horrorpreg in my fic (though this fic admittedly doesn't lean too hard into it). Ongoing.
Murder Drones: The Play by daarkxwolf17 - Human AU. Uzi is roped into a role in the school play, meeting friends and potentially something more. Complete.
Ad Astra Per Aspera (series) by LadyDaybreaker - I have read bits and pieces of this, but it's a friend's work and I think it's worth a look. Goes from pre-canon to post-canon. Canon-divergent. Ongoing.

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE CHAOS PROTOCOL
Relistening to Arc 1 of The Chaos Protocol while I go on walks got me realising at one point Sing says to Seir “Just like the two moons, better together” (paraphrasing because I have bad memory) and then one of the moons gets torn out of the sky before Sing dies

I've seen a few people say they didn't like tonight's episode and didn't agree with the hype, but hold on a minute. Yeah Eddie was absent and it's a bit messed up that Buck, Athena and Bobby were absent for the gender reveal of Maddie and Chimney's baby but the episode still delivers in other places. Dramatic disaster, potential for NDE, big rescue in the wings. It's your typical 9-1-1 formula even if it's lacking or bungling in some areas. And I know there were people thinking Tim was gonna toss Buck together with Ravi for some random and bizarre reason but that didn't happen.
Buck, in typical Buck fashion was a supportive friend and coworker to Ravi after he made a mistake and almost lost someone. Know who has made mistakes and lost people, or at least was told he'd get someone killed? Buck. Evan "Buck" Buckley who has been told since he was a toddler that he was a screw up and would never learn from his mistakes. Buck, who knows what it's like to be the youngest, least experienced one on the team, who has made mistakes and lost victims and took it hard every single time. Buck, who takes those losses as a challenge to do better, try harder and learn from those mistakes. And yeah we didn't get Buddie scenes this time but Eddie was there in spirit because Buck told Ravi "no one else is quitting this month". He might not have Eddie, but he did not want to lose another friend and partner. Buck has learned to see Ravi as a different kind of friend and partner than Eddie. Eddie already had life experience and work experience that did not require Buck's guidance but Ravi, being a little less experienced needed the advice Buck had to offer. This was a growing point for Ravi and stressed what we knew from interviews, that Ravi is coming into himself as a firefighter, learning to be confident and take initiative, something Buck had to learn to do as well. This is not Buck and Ravi eventually becoming romantically involved. It's Buck learning how to make a friend that does not evolve into the levels of codependency that Buck and Eddie have. Buck becoming a mentor for someone, he finally has the life experience that Bobby told him he lacked in season 6 when he didn't pick him as interim captain. It's Ravi bringing his own skills and personality to the team. Not as a replacement for Eddie, but as another person on the team.
Next, I just want to say Oliver and Angela were fantastic. I love Oliver because he pushes the limits of emotional vulnerability and you get sucked in when he is doing the dramatic bits. The promo for 8x15 is insane. Oliver has really brought Buck's character arc full circle. From season 1's reckless, impulsive hothead who charged in with no plan, basically yelling "I do what I want" to calmly having Athena's back and still giving the proverbial finger to any authority that tries to stop him from saving his family. Buck started off as pure chaos but now he's methodical and calculating, controlled chaos. To see him and Athena who started out as enemies, work together to save the 118 while basically saying screw protocol is absolute gold. Especially when Athena is usually the one catching and preventing Buck from going off half cocked, breaking rules and ignoring authority.
I found it hilarious when the biolab director and the colonel tried to stop and even threatened them with jail because this is Athena Grant and Evan Buckley. Absolutely no one can out stubborn these two. They've broken rules, regulations and laws to protect their family and Buck got a medal for one of those times. Military jail is not going to stop them.
Ravi and his "come at me bro" to the colonel was just absolutely amazing. So much sass, if Eddie had been there he would be so proud. When the next episode airs and everyone makes it out, I imagine Buck will be bragging about Ravi sassing the military. "Our probie has grown up so fast, I'm so proud". This was a big episode for Ravi in a way. Maybe it wasn't some huge Ravi Begins episode, but for someone to go from absolutely devastated and considering quitting after nearly losing someone and saying he doesn't belong in the field to telling a colonel "if you want me come and get me", that's a pretty big character transformation. Maybe going forward Ravi will have more confidence.
I hope we will see Eddie in the second half of the contagion arc. Not quite sure how he would fit into it. Maybe there's a news report and this is what brings him back. Maybe Buck calls him. Idk, but I am looking forward to Eddie's return and Buck and Athena working together to save the team. When the two of them team up, it's always badass.

Arc Reactor Baby~Oneshot
Tumblr media
Summery: Tony found out that y/n is pregnant, and ever since he found out he started ‘Operation: Arc Reactor Baby’
Characters: Tony Stark x pregnant reader
||Master List||
The bathroom was silent.
Well—except for your heartbeat thudding in your ears and the quiet lapping of ocean waves Friday was kindly playing in the background.
There it was. On the marble counter. Two pink lines.
You held the test like it might detonate.
Pregnant.
You were pregnant. With Tony Stark’s child.
You took a slow breath, tried not to throw up, then laughed nervously. “Oh my god.”
Friday’s voice chimed gently. “Shall I notify Mr. Stark?”
“No!” you blurted. “I mean—no. Not yet. Let me just… I need to tell him myself. Calmly.”
“Would you like to run through calming breathing exercises?”
You covered your mouth. “I’m married to a billionaire genius Avenger and we accidentally made a baby. No breathing exercise is going to help with that.”
Friday hummed. “Noted.”
You didn’t tell Tony right away.
Not because you didn’t want to—but because you needed to mentally prepare for him. The moment he heard “baby,” he was either going to shut down like a blue-screened Windows 95 or go full Iron Dad mode.
Two days later, you found your moment.
You walked into the lab while he was tinkering with a miniaturized arc reactor, his glasses slipping down his nose.
“Hey, genius,” you said, voice light.
He glanced up, grinning. “Hey, gorgeous. Come to seduce me while I’m elbows-deep in synthetic energy?”
“Maybe,” you said, stepping up and leaning on the worktable. “Or maybe I’ve got a surprise.”
He straightened. “A surprise? Did you finally agree to let me build the coffee robot? Because I have blueprints—”
“I’m pregnant.”
The moment froze.
Literally. Tony’s face blanked. The arc reactor in his hand clattered to the floor. He didn’t react.
“Tony?” you said carefully.
“…Pregnant?”
You nodded.
“With… my baby?”
“Unless you’ve got a clone running around, yes. Yours.”
He stared at you for another three seconds before—
“Friday!” he bellowed, practically tripping over his chair. “Clear all schedules. Reschedule all meetings. Cancel MIT guest lectures. Divert satellite data. Begin Operation: Baby Protocol.”
You blinked. “Wait, wha—?”
“Step one!” Tony shouted, dashing to a console. “Reinforce all furniture. Begin modifications to the tower for baby-proofing. And—oh god, the sharp corners. Why do we have so many corners?!”
You covered your mouth in both horror and laughter.
“Tony, breathe—!”
“Too late,” he said dramatically. “I already forgot how. Friday, locate oxygen tank.”
You dragged him to the couch, pulling him into your lap.
He wrapped his arms around you like a blanket burrito. “You’re really… we’re really doing this?”
You smiled. “We are.”
He was quiet for a moment. Then:
“I’m going to be the most extra dad in the history of fathers.”
You snorted. “That was never in question.”
The next day, the chaos truly began.
You woke up to a robotic voice chirping, “Good morning, Y/n! Would you like some omega-3-rich chia toast?”
You blinked at the hovering breakfast tray. “Tony, what the hell?”
Tony peeked in from the doorway. “Meet Butterbot 2.0—optimized for pregnancy nutrition delivery. I programmed him using your food cravings from the last 72 hours.”
You stared at the toast. “…How do you know I was craving chia toast?”
He winked. “Security cams, baby.”
“You surveilled me?!”
“I monitored your needs lovingly. Big difference.”
You sighed. “Tony…”
He walked over, kissed your forehead. “You carry the baby. I carry the stress.”
And oh, did he mean it.
By Week 8, he had:
Designed a temperature-controlled pregnancy pillow.
Banned stairs (“Why walk when you can hover?”).
Upgraded the Tower’s AI to play lullabies on command.
Tried to invent a womb-safe ultrasound drone (it exploded).
You loved him. So much. But when he started designing an AI-powered diaper-changing exosuit, you drew the line.
“Tony, if you put a diaper on a baby using repulsor tech, I will tase you.”
He raised his hands. “Noted. Back to the drawing board.”
By your second trimester, you were showing—and Tony insisted on throwing a “Stark Baby Reveal Bash.”
You had to beg him not to shoot the gender into the sky with fireworks.
Instead, you compromised with a cozy get-together at the Tower. It was… still ridiculous.
Natasha brought matching baby black-ops booties. Clint brought a tiny bow and arrow set. Bruce gave you a homemade science-for-babies kit.
And Steve? Steve blushed as he handed you a box of handmade onesies embroidered with little Captain America shields.
Tony stared at them. “Really, Rogers? Indoctrinating my child into your propaganda already?”
Steve shrugged. “Better than growing up in a lab.”
You placed a hand on Tony’s chest. “He’s going to have both.”
Tony’s heart softened, eyes locking with yours.
“And… they’re going to know they’re loved.”
One night, curled up with you under the soft Tower lights, Tony murmured, “You think they’ll like me?”
You turned your head. “What?”
He was staring at the ceiling, blinking slowly. “Our kid. What if they… I don’t know. Think I’m too much? Or too flawed?”
You placed a hand over his arc reactor, the soft hum syncing with your heartbeat. “Tony, they’re going to think the world starts and ends with you. Because it does. For me.”
He swallowed.
“…I love you.”
“I know,” you smirked. “You’re not subtle.”
He kissed you, long and slow, and whispered, “What do we name a kid who’s part chaos, part brilliance, and all heart?”
You whispered back, “Stark.”
At 32 weeks, you had a scare—some sharp pain, dizziness, and a moment of panic.
Tony completely lost his mind.
He carried you to the lab bridal-style, yelling for Bruce and medical scans and demanding Friday launch every medical protocol in the book.
You lay on the med bed, laughing between contractions.
“It’s Braxton Hicks, babe. False labor.”
Tony paced like a man ready for nuclear war. “Define false! You nearly fainted! That’s not false! That’s real enough for DEFCON 1!”
You reached for his hand. “Tony. I’m okay. The baby’s okay.”
He looked like he might cry.
Then he dropped to his knees, forehead against your belly. “Okay. Okay, little Starklet. You scared your old man.”
You stroked his hair. “He or she’s just practicing their dramatic entrance.”
Tony chuckled. “That’s my kid.”
It happened fast.
One moment you were asleep. The next? Water broke. Pain. Chaos.
Tony was up in .02 seconds. “Friday! Assemble the medical team! Cue the playlist! Begin Operation: Push Protocol!”
“Tony—”
“I packed the bag. I built the pod. I installed the anti-anxiety field in the delivery room. We’re good!”
“WHAT?”
He didn’t answer. He was too busy helping you into the hover-car.
Twelve hours later, through tears and laughter and screaming and swearing, a cry echoed through the private Tower birthing suite.
Your baby.
Your child.
Tony stood frozen. “…That’s her?”
You nodded through tears. “Yeah.”
He looked at you, then back at the tiny, crying bundle in the nurse’s arms. When they handed the baby to him, he just stared, awestruck.
Then—softly—he whispered, “Hi. I’m your dad. Sorry in advance. I’m gonna mess up a lot.”
The baby yawned.
Tony melted.
You’d never seen him cry before—not like this. Not the silent, trembling kind of tears that come when a broken heart begins to heal.
A week later, you were home.
Well, in the Tower nursery. Which had:
Temperature-controlled walls.
A lullaby system triggered by heart rate.
A glowing night sky ceiling painted by Tony himself.
You held your baby against your chest while Tony lay beside you, watching both of you like you were made of starlight and glass.
“She’s perfect,” he whispered. “Like you.”
You kissed his temple. “She’s loud like you.”
He grinned. “She has good taste.”
You both watched as the baby dozed off.
Tony reached over, touched her tiny hand. “I never thought I’d get this.”
“You deserve it.”
“I don’t know what I’m doing.”
“You’re already doing it.”
He pulled you close, eyes glassy. “Promise me something?”
“Anything.”
“Don’t ever leave me.”
You cupped his cheek. “Never. You and me? We’re a team. Always.”
A year later, you watched Tony build your daughter Natalie a suit of foam armor for her first Halloween.
She giggled, clapped her hands, and called him “Dada!”
Tony nearly passed out.
You leaned against the doorway, arms crossed. “You’re building her an Iron Baby suit.”
He turned with a smirk. “Correction: I’m building her the Iron Baby suit.”
“…How many weapons does it have?”
“Zero.”
You raised a brow.
“Okay, one. But it’s just confetti.”
You laughed, walking over to kiss him. “You’re ridiculous.”
He held your waist. “I’m a dad. It’s in the job description.”
You looked at your family—the man you loved, the child you made together.
And you knew, with absolute certainty:
This was your favorite version of Tony Stark.
The genius. The chaos.
The husband.
The father.
Your forever.
-the end

Sasha hit the nail on the head about Drew and Willow. (And the way Jason looked...)
That particular mention of "Dawn of Drew", makes me wonder a few things. (And leads to two theories I've been working.)
1: when Drew was attacked in Pentonville, something shook loose. Like from his brainwashing shit. Maybe some sort of sleeper asshole protocol that Helena or Peter August put in his head.
Or
2: this is a long con to get back at Nina. (And maybe Carly, to a degree.)
Think about it: he went to prison because of both of them. Nina called the feds, and Carly didn't really fight him too hard on turning himself in.
(and then Jason showed up and that definitely hit him hard because no one is more important to Carly and the others than Jason.)
So Drew goes about his business and then he and Nina have their hate sex moment. Which leads to an idea...
He starts small with bridging the gap between Mom and daughter, knowing it'll piss off Carly and the Qs. (And make Nina dependent on him.)
And then he notices that Nina is feeling for him. (And so is Willow.)
Which is when he strikes. He leads Nina on for political gain and to make her fall deeper and deeper... While also subtly courting Willow.
And then he and Willow start happening and become public knowledge and he knows he's hurting Nina and Carly both by turning Willow against her family and everything. And the grandkids.
But the biggest finale has yet to happen.
It's been insinuated that Willow is going to suffer major heartbreak from this arc. That reality will hit her hard.
Drew is actively trying to get Willow to make enemies of the Qs and doing shit that will cause Michael to be able to get full custody once his recovery is over/new actor is chosen.
And then he'll deliver the final blow...
Either he'll cheat/find someone else on purpose. Or he'll find a way to essentially break up with Willow in the most cruel way and break her heart which will break Nina.
(and potentially Carly as well, because of all the chaos that'll have been happening with the grandkids and Michael.)
(hell, his dealings with Sidwell could also go back to getting payback on Carly and Jason.)
But it's a long con and he's doing one hell of a job putting it together.
(or I'm just hoping it's something this interesting and not just the basic bullshit it seems to be.)

Dramaturgy IS a safety tool.
As an actual play channel that deals with intense topics, we employ a structured (and fun!) internal process for breaking story with our cast, which involves discussing the overall narrative structure of each Arc—and major beats that may arise in each session.
This not only equips our players with the tools to co-create the narrative, but also illuminates potentially sensitive story beats and the ways we’d be excited to facilitate them!
When many players’ comfort level around interesting but often intense topics is “Let’s talk about it first,” dramaturgy provides a structured, creatively fulfilling, and collaboratively enriching way of discussing details without setting off landmines.
Of course, we’re all human, and accidents happen. It’s the nature of improvised play. Conflict isn’t bad — how we handle it is what matters!
Dramaturgy has helped our table develop one of the most important safety features of all: a table culture of honesty and nuance we’re all responsible for contributing toward.
Our dramaturgical process has many more moving parts than that, of course, and we hope to cover those thoughts in future posts!
In the meantime, we hope this post was helpful and we implore you to go watch our show. We’re an all-transgender, POC-led dark fantasy TTRPG series telling stories in an original noncolonial, antiorientalist multiverse. Our current campaign, THE CHAOS PROTOCOL, won the 2024 Audio Fiction World Cup!
If you like gay disasters, stories about grief and family, trans Chinese diasporic methodologies of violence and becoming, and critical worldbuilding with an eye toward liberational storytelling… check us out? ✨
