This book is a collection of life lessons which help women through their journey of self discovery. Through this journey she had met a multitude of women and through these experiences she has teaches us different lessons that every woman needs. From love to faith, every chapter gives us a deep insight o the lives of these women. We are taught how to be the "Captain" of our ship and just like any ship we have to sail the waters during both calm and rough, but everyone does it. No one has a perfect life. There are 15 different lessons that are in this book. A couple of them are: 1. Drowning in the Vortex 2. Woman Overboard My favourite lesson is 'Friendship's Treacherous Waters' and the story behind her friend Vivian. It reminded me of someone I used to know. No, she doesn't have the same story but a very similar one. If you are someone, whether you're a teenager in school or a working mom and you need to learn how to value yourself, this is the perfect book. Remember, every woman is the captain of her own ship.
