Seriously, these are fun and possibly canon.
The team in civilian clothes, watching their target get away in a helicopter.
Price: well shit. Back to base. We'll get them another day.
Storm: Wait. Wasn't it dead or alive for them?
Ghost: It was, why?
Storm: oh good then this is perfectly within bounds.
Storm proceeds to open the trunk of their car and out pull a Rocket Launcher.
Soap: what the fuck? Did you have that the whole time? Who gave it to you?
Storm: My uncle gave it to me. He said they're handy to have. And now we see why.
Storm launches the single rocket into the helicopter and watches it explode with glee.
--
König: *in concern* why are they smiling?
Ghost: oh, they're holding a sledgehammer.
König: they're not planning on using it, right?
Ghost: Price would have my head if we let them. So instead they get to hold and just think. It's like a treat for them.
König: why would holding it just be a treat?
Ghost: they have a history of retail work. Destruction even imagined is a treat for them.
--
Price: has anyone seen Storm?
Soap: hold on. *Let's out the most heinous velociraptor screech*
Price: why in the fuck!
*A responding velociraptor screech echoes from the ceiling*
Soap: there they are.
Price: *watching in shock as Storm pokes their head out from a nest of blankets in one of the safety nets close to the ceiling.* HOW IN THE FUCK?
--
Ghost: *watching as Storm hauls in an entire pit grill.* What are you doing?
Storm: feeding people.
Ghost: why?
Storm: the shadows were complaining of missing barbecue and Graves said the best barbeque comes from California. The fucker is from Texas, so now it's spite. Ya wanna help?
Ghost: okay. What do you need help with?
Storm: we gotta haul in the fuel and pigs next.
Ghost: pigs?
Storm: yeah, got two whole hogs in the truck bed and bout 100lbs worth of wood n' charcoal in the cab.

There is no denying that Bak Kwa (肉干) is very popular during Lunar New Year. Even as the prices soared to over S$100 per kilogram for the premium bbq meats, long queues are forming among the popular brands’ outlets around Singapore.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
youtube
Traditionally Bak Kwa are made from pork but to cater to different religious restriction and cultures, they are now also available in beef, chicken, mutton and vegan versions. The slices of thin meat are grilled over charcoal to impart a smoker flavour to the meat.  Singaporean and Malaysian versions of bak kwa are also sweeter than their mainland China counterparts with many different variations having developed to suit local palates, such as chili bak kwa.
Tumblr media
Did you know that Bak kwa can also be made into cookies like this Vegan Bak Kwa Cookies? Depending on your diet restriction, you can substitute the real grilled meat rather than using plant-based protein in the biscuit.

Twisted Wonderland server JPN event "Tamansha Muina in Sunset Meadow" Story 02(1/?)
•Everyone enjoying the culinary food in Sunset Savanna's market. First they try is a charcoal- grilled dish of chunks of mutton placed on a metal plate. Similar with a spice grilled meat. This is Leona's favorite dish.
•Kifaji told them to try mangoes juice, unfortunately the fruit is sold out. But they fruit seller tell them to try passion fruit when Lilia ask for recommendations.
•Grim surprise see a fruit is size as Grim, Jackfruit. Leona says it's the biggest fruit among other fruits in around the world. Since Grim wanted to try it, Leona bought for him. Everyone shocks Grim eat a whole the jackfruit by himself.
•Next up, they try eat Steam Banana. Same like we cook steam potatoes. Mixed with wheat and rice for flavor. Last, the dishes of crepe made of rice along sauce like curry, Chili, veggies, and meat as for add topping. Same like we eat "Channa" and "Injera".
•Kifaji escort them to souvenir place, there's a lot accessories with gemstones, from cheap to high price. As for Leona, he still thinks all gems in here are normal like regular gems. Suddenly he and Kifaji little argue on discussion mine's stones. But for Vil and Lilia is kinda rare to see them like that. But Kalim suddenly want to buy those souvenir to whole dorm of Scarabia students.
•Lilia still find a perfect souvenir for Malleus, Sebek, and Silver. Lilia worried if he pick a souvenir that same like last year, he did try his best to pick a perfect gift for those three.
•MC and Grim also looking for souvenir, Kiraji recommended them a hanging fabric textile art, art of symbol Simba when Simba as cub lion. "By valuing nature very much and avoiding the mining of underground resources and large- scale farming and industrialization,Handmade textiles have developed into an important industry." say Leona.
•Kifaji did help MC and Grim recommended to buy souvenir, a traditional rug. But it's really expensive. Can't help it, Leona told MC and Grim to buy a hammock bed for Grim. As for MC, Leona recommended for MC a tapestry, Leona knows a fit for MC is something decoration for room's wall. Also knows MC is interested the statue fountain of baby Simba too.
•Leona did tell MC about The story of Simba when he bought tapestry and hammock bed for both of them. MC thank to Leona, causing Leona chuckles. He didn't mind if MC ask for recommendations from him although he's too pride when MC praise him.

I'm not looking to buy a home right now, but I was recently looking on Zillow just for fun and these are the top most depressing selling points I've seen for condos and townhomes roughly within my price range and area:
1. "This is a true "fixer upper".... Due to the condition of the property and the mold, this house is a cash or hard money purchase, it will not qualify for a Conventional, VA or FHA Loan. Agents bring your highest and best offer."
2. "Location is next to the Inova Fairfax Hospital  with easy access from the condo community....This one has it ALL!"
3.  (List of nearby amenities includes dog park) "Building has a strict no pets policy"
4. "Walk to Fresh Fields!" (Whole Foods hasn't been called Fresh Fields since the 1990's. I looked it up on Google Maps. They were, in fact, referring to a Whole Foods location. Hopefully this place hasn't been vacant since the 90's!)
5. "A rare find! 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom single-level condo inside the Beltway for under $300,000! Well-maintained by one owner for the last 36 years." (This one isn't depressing itself, it's just depressing that it's rare.)
6. "Wonderful opportunity to live the Luxury High-Rise Lifestyle." [one paragraph later] "Stunning fifth floor views." (I'm reminded by the song from Oklahoma in which a provincial yokel sings, "They went and built a skyscraper seven stories high!")
7. "Hard to find  such deals any more in this county.... Why rent ? rent is not cheap anymore !!!!"
8. "Community amenities Library, Convenience Store, Beauty Salon, Doctor's Office, Attorney’s Office, Outdoor Swimming Pool, Picnic Area Deck with Charcoal Grills, Tot Lot/Playground, Fitness Centers, Sauna, Steam Room, Billiard Room & Ping Pong Table, Media Room, Party room, Card room." ("Wow, that sounds pretty great... WAIT... ATTORNEY'S OFFICE?” Dare I ask if anything about the nature of the building makes that amenity more than commonly useful?)
 9.  "There is NO washer in unit as seen in pictures apparently this is allowed by condo association now there is a wine cooler." (I'm not entirely sure what's going on here but I'm guessing the person who wrote the description was dipping into the wine cooler.)
10. "This home is being offered strictly AS-IS and at a price to reflect it simply because the owner ran out of time and energy to complete the updates that were started." (I admire the honesty.)
Honorable mention: Not actually depressing text in the description, but there's photos of random junk, packaging, and clothing strewn all over the entire home.... and also it's outside my price range.

Ch. 5 -Every Last Bite
Makima neatly folded her coat over her chair as she sat down. She'd ran into Kobeni and her partner wrapping up their morning patrol and getting ready for lunch, sending Hirokazu away on an errand and inviting Kobeni to dine out with her. She'd wanted to see Makima again though to say she'd been caught off guard would be an understatement. She was naturally apprehensive, yet totally unable to refuse someone, especially someone who held seniority over her, and before the battle of her anxieties could conclude Makima was already escorting her into the restaurant, a local hidden gem she'd heard about from an oft drunk coworker who frequented the place.
The server brought over their food, miso soup, karaage, yakitori grilled over charcoal, and a side of cucumber salad. Kobeni's meager breakfast had left her ill-equipped for such temptations. Her usual go-to's for lunch were always something cheap and convenient, instant noodles or maybe street food if she felt like splurging. She loved good food but seldom had the opportunity to treat herself, and the thought of being treated by someone wasn't one that often crossed her mind. The noise of clattering pans in the kitchen snapped her back to reality as she swiveled her head up to lock eyes with the red headed woman sitting across from her who gave her a warm smile.
"Shall we dig in?"
"A-Ah, y-yes, thanks for the food!"
Kobeni reached for the soup first, it's deep savory flavor washed over her tongue and bathed her taste buds in it's salty-sweet richness. As she savored the sensation she locked eyes with Makima who's hand was wrapped around a yakitori. She slowly lifted the sauce dipped chicken to her mouth and bit into it, prying the tender meat free of the skewer and looking to relish in the flavor.
"The food here really is delicious, do you come here often?"
Kobeni panicked and quickly swallowed the half chewed bite of tofu in her mouth.
"O-oh um... n-not really, it's a bit out of m-my usual price range..."
"Ah, well in that case don't worry about it, I'll pick up the bill this time"
"N... No! That's alright, I w-wouldn't want to impose on you like that"
"I insist, next time you can treat me somewhere"
Makima grinned at Kobeni, prodding her to take the initiative. Kobeni pursed her lips and balled her hands into fists at her sides, sheepishly looking down at her half finished bowl of miso.
"I doubt I could treat you anywhere as nice as this..."
Makima pressed a finger to her chin and pondered, studying Kobeni's form. She wanted to know her prospective partner intimately, to understand her every movement until she could read her thoughts just by gazing into her deep brown eyes. The thought of spending every waking moment with Kobeni made her heart race.
"Well, then we'll just have to go more than once"
Kobeni's shame twisted back into anxiety as she considered how this might all be a roundabout way of entrapping her in some inescapable cycle of debt. Had she truly ruined her life for half a bowl of soup? Noticing the change in her expression, Makima interjected.
"Don't fret too much, I'm not as high-maintenance as you might think"
Makima flagged down the server for drinks and slid a beer over to Kobeni who bashfully nibbled on her fried chicken.
"I want you to enjoy a nice meal with me, then simply do your best to take me somewhere where I'll get to enjoy myself with you"
Kobeni blushed, her face caught between emotions, flowing from anxiety to curiosity with a tinge of relief. She wasn't entirely sure how to feel about things but she had just been told to enjoy herself, in what felt vaguely like an order from her superior. At the very least she could use it as an excuse to help herself calm down as she reached for a skewer. The food really was excellent after all, and Makima was paying, it would be rude to refuse her after all.
Over the next hour the pair filled the air with idle chatter. It took time for Kobeni to fully register just how much more calm she felt, more than before but also in general, she wasn't use to feeling relaxed around other people, and by all rights she should be far from serenity around Makima. It was as if a reassuring aura washed over her, stroking her hair and letting her know all would be well. She thought to reach out and express her gratitude somehow, and as the emotions painted her face unknowingly, Makima's lips gently curled into a smile as if to signal back, message received. Kobeni shifted her gaze to the side and blushed, did she know?
"I think I'm full but it seems wasteful not to finish every last bite, do you want my last karaage?"
"Oh, s-sure!"
Before she could move her hand over, Makima had already picked up the food with her chopsticks and moved it in Kobeni's direction. Her face leaned on one hand she extended the chicken over expectantly. Kobeni's face turned red in an instant but her mind was in gridlock, completely unsure of how to proceed. Everything about this interaction felt inappropriate, they were coworkers, or maybe friends? But this was something l-lovers did... No, she'd blank out that thought or they'd be there all day. But she couldn't refuse, Makima's hand was edging closer, and she'd already agreed... sort of. She settled on the compromise of closing her eyes and opening her mouth. As Makima placed the food onto her tongue, the flavors danced around in her mouth. It tasted different somehow, a hint of something new that gave the dish a loving taste of home cooking. Catching herself just before she'd nearly let out a moan of pleasure, Kobeni dutifully chewed her food and swallowed, Makima's eyes not for a moment straying from her.
"I'll get the check, I have a few errands to run after this before I head back to the office, we can walk together for a bit if you'd like"
"I'd l-like that I think..."

Hi, long time no see, I come back with one more super popular dish in Vietnam. It’s “bún chả”, which is some rice noodles served with grilled meat, some sweet and sour sauce, and some salad. It is voted one of the best five Vietnamese dishes that draw foreign tourists' attention. The specialty here is not the rice noodle but the meat and the sauce. The meat here is usually pork, sometimes beef and it is not cooked on a gas stove but grilled on charcoal. Before being grilled, the meat is marinated with some ingredients such as onion, garlic, citronella, and ginger. The sauce is made from fish sauce mixed with some water to make it less salty, then added chili, garlic, and lemonade. Grilled meat and sweet and sour sauce are different among food stores, each of them has a unique recipe to create the original taste for the guests. “Bún chả” is served every day, you can have it for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even supper at a really reasonable price, about 2 dollars. Hanoi - the capital city is the most famous city for this dish. Come to Vietnam and try this!

Why a Small Portable BBQ is Ideal for Outdoor Enthusiasts
Tumblr media
Outdoor enthusiasts often seek ways to enhance their adventures, and for many, cooking is an integral part of the experience. Whether it's a weekend camping trip, a day at the beach, or a spontaneous picnic in the park, the joy of preparing a meal outdoors adds a unique charm to these activities. In this context, a small portable BBQ emerges as a particularly valuable tool. This article explores why a portable BBQ small is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, highlighting its benefits and practicality in various scenarios.
Convenience and Portability
One of the most significant advantages of a small portable BBQ is its convenience. Unlike larger, stationary grills, a small portable BBQ is designed to be easily transported and set up. This feature is particularly beneficial for outdoor enthusiasts who often move from one location to another. The compact size of a small portable BBQ means it can fit into a car trunk or be carried in a backpack without taking up much space. This level of portability ensures that enthusiasts can enjoy a cooked meal regardless of their location.
Moreover, the ease of setup is another key factor. Many small portable BBQs are designed with quick assembly and disassembly in mind. This allows users to start cooking almost immediately upon arrival at their destination, minimizing downtime and maximizing enjoyment. The ability to transition smoothly from travel to cooking enhances the overall outdoor experience, making the small portable BBQ a practical choice for those on the go.
Space Efficiency
When engaging in outdoor activities, space is often at a premium. Whether you're camping in a tent, setting up a picnic, or enjoying a day at the beach, space constraints can impact your ability to cook and dine comfortably. A small portable BBQ addresses this issue by providing a compact grilling solution that requires minimal space. Despite its small size, these BBQs are designed to deliver efficient cooking performance, allowing users to prepare meals without needing a large area.
The space-efficient design also contributes to easier storage. When not in use, a small portable BBQ can be neatly packed away, taking up less room in storage areas or vehicles. This feature is particularly beneficial for outdoor enthusiasts who prioritize maximizing space for other gear or equipment.
Versatility in Cooking
A small portable BBQ offers considerable versatility in cooking. Its design often includes adjustable cooking surfaces, allowing users to grill, roast, or even smoke food. This versatility ensures that outdoor enthusiasts can prepare a variety of dishes, from traditional burgers and hot dogs to more elaborate meals like grilled vegetables or marinated steaks.
The adaptability of a small portable BBQ also extends to the types of fuel it uses. Many models are compatible with various fuel sources, such as charcoal, propane, or even wood chips. This flexibility enables users to choose the fuel type that best suits their cooking style and preferences. For instance, those who enjoy the smoky flavor of charcoal can opt for that, while others might prefer the convenience of propane.
Cost-Effectiveness
Investing in a small portable BBQ can be a cost-effective choice for outdoor enthusiasts. While larger, more elaborate grills can come with a hefty price tag, small portable BBQs are generally more affordable. Their lower cost makes them accessible to a wider range of users, without compromising on quality or functionality.
Additionally, the efficient use of space and fuel with a small portable BBQ can contribute to savings. Since these BBQs are designed to be fuel-efficient and require less fuel than larger models, users can enjoy economical cooking without the need for frequent fuel purchases. This cost-effectiveness aligns well with the budget-conscious mindset of many outdoor enthusiasts.
Ease of Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning and maintaining a small portable BBQ is typically straightforward and hassle-free. Many models feature removable parts that can be easily cleaned, and their compact size makes it easier to access all areas of the BBQ. This ease of maintenance is particularly important for outdoor enthusiasts who might not have access to extensive cleaning facilities while on the go.
Furthermore, the simple design of a small portable BBQ often means fewer components that can wear out or break over time. This durability contributes to the long-term value of the BBQ, ensuring that it remains a reliable tool for future adventures.
Environmental Considerations
Outdoor enthusiasts are often mindful of their environmental impact. A small portable BBQ can align with these values by promoting eco-friendly practices. Many models are designed with energy efficiency in mind, using less fuel and producing fewer emissions compared to larger grills. Additionally, the compact size of a small portable BBQ encourages users to cook only what is needed, reducing food waste and minimizing environmental impact.
The use of sustainable fuel sources, such as natural charcoal or propane, can also be a factor in choosing a small portable BBQ. By selecting eco-friendly fuels and practicing responsible disposal of used materials, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy their BBQ experience while being conscientious of their environmental footprint.
Conclusion
A small portable BBQ is a fantastic addition to any outdoor enthusiast’s gear. Its convenience, space efficiency, versatility, cost-effectiveness, ease of cleaning, and environmental considerations make it an ideal choice for those who love to cook and dine in the great outdoors. Whether you’re embarking on a camping trip, enjoying a day at the park, or having a beachside barbecue, a small portable BBQ ensures that you can savor delicious meals with minimal hassle and maximum enjoyment. For those who value both practicality and adventure, this compact grilling solution is a worthy companion in any outdoor journey.

Let's dive deeper into its standout qualities and explore how you can elevate your grilling game with tips, recipes, and maintenance tricks that will keep your Weber in shape for years.
Grilling Recipes to Try on the Weber Original Kettle Premium 26-Inch Charcoal Grill
Firing the Weber Original Kettle Premium 26-inch Charcoal Grill opens a world of delicious possibilities. Start with classic BBQ ribs, marinated in your favorite sauce and slow-cooked to tender perfection over indirect heat.
For something a bit different, try grilled vegetable skewers. Toss bell peppers, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes in olive oil and seasonings before threading them on skewers. The smoky flavor enhances their natural sweetness.
Don'tRemember seafood! Grilled shrimp tacos are an easy yet impressive dish. Marinate shrimp in lime juice and spices before grilling until they're charred and succulent.
Burgers are a must-have. Experiment with gourmet toppings like avocado or blue cheese to elevate your standard fare into something extraordinary. Each recipe showcases the unique flavor only charcoal can provide while making the most of this iconic grill's capabilities.
Maintenance and Care of the Grill
Maintaining your Weber Original Kettle Premium 26-inch Charcoal Grill is essential for longevity and performance. After each use, allow the grill to cool down completely before starting your cleaning routine.
Begin by removing the ash catcher. Empty it regularly to prevent buildup that can obstruct airflow. A clean grill enhances flavor and improves heat distribution.
Use a stiff brush to scrub the cooking grate while still warm. This helps lift off stubborn residue without damaging the surface. For deeper cleaning, please take out the grates and wash them with soap and water.
Check the vents periodically; they should be debris-free for proper ventilation during grilling sessions. Wipe down external surfaces with a damp cloth occasionally to keep that sleek black finish looking pristine.
Store your grill in a dry place or invest in a cover to protect it from harsh weather conditions when not in use.
Benefits of Using a Charcoal Grill
Charcoal grills are celebrated for their unique flavor profile. The smoky aroma from the charcoal infuses meats and vegetables, creating a taste that gas grills can't replicate.
Another notable benefit is the high heat they generate. This allows for excellent searing, locking in juices, and enhancing texture. Those beautiful grill marks? They come courtesy of coal's intense heat.
Charcoal grilling also encourages outdoor cooking experiences. It's not just about the food; it's about gathering with friends and family around an open flame.
Additionally, charcoal grills often have lower prices than gas models. You don't need to invest heavily to enjoy great barbecued meals.
Many enthusiasts appreciate how straightforward they are to use. With minimal setup and easy temperature control, once you master it, you'll be on your way to perfect grilled dishes in no time.
Customer Reviews and Ratings
Customer feedback paints a vivid picture of the Weber Original Kettle Premium 26-inch Charcoal Grill. Enthusiasts rave about its sturdy construction and timeless design, and many users appreciate how easy it is to set up and start grilling.
The heat retention is often highlighted as a game-changer. Home chefs love how evenly food cooks, giving them that perfect sear every time. The spacious cooking area allows for larger gatherings without compromising flavor or quality.
Some reviewers mention the hassle-free cleanup process due to the built-in ash catcher. This feature simplifies post-barbecue duties, allowing more time for relaxation.
While most ratings are overwhelmingly positive, some customers express concerns about portability given its size. However, they generally agree that this grill becomes a beloved centerpiece of outdoor cooking experiences once it's in place.
Comparison with Other Grills in the Market
When considering the Weber Original Kettle Premium 26-inch Charcoal Grill, it's essential to compare it with other options on the market. Many grills boast high performance and unique features, but few match this charcoal grill's reliability and classic design.
First, gas grills offer convenience and quick heat-up times. However, they often lack the deep flavor of cooking over charcoal. The Weber Original Kettle lets you savor those rich, smoky notes that many grilling enthusiasts crave.
Pellet grills have gained popularity for their versatility in temperature control. Yet, they are more expensive and require additional maintenance than a straightforward charcoal setup like the Weber kettle.
Another competitor is electric grills, perfect for indoor use or in places with restrictions on traditional grilling methods. Still, they cannot replicate that authentic outdoor grilling experience or impart the same depth of flavor as charcoal.
Some stainless steel models may initially appear more robust in terms of durability. However, when properly maintained, your Weber Original Kettle will last through years of cookouts while retaining its charm and functionality.
The combination of timeless design and modern upgrades makes this grill stand out among competitors in various categories—whether you're looking for portability or advanced technology integration. Suppose you value taste while enjoying an uncomplicated cooking process outdoors. In that case, there's no question: investing in a Weber Original Kettle Premium 26-inch Charcoal Grill will significantly elevate your backyard barbecue game.
