And them that were without, they struck with blindness from the least to the greatest, so that they could not find the door. And they said to Lot: Hast thou here any of thine? son in law, or sons, or daughters, all that are thine bring them out of this city: For we will destroy this place, because their cry is grown loud before the Lord, who hath sent us to destroy them.”
Genesis 19:11-13 Douay-Rheims Bible.

Représentant Madame De Pompadour Sultane by Charles-André van Loo
A western view about what a Sultana would wear and look like, it seems inaccurate to me because a Sultana would not tie her head with a simple scarf and put a rose on top of it with this very obvious western hairstyle. But! A for effort.

"Marie Leszczyńska, Queen of France" (1747)
Oil on canvas
Located in the Palace of Versailles, Versailles, France
Marie Leszczyńska (1703-1768) was Queen of France as the wife of King Louis XV from their marriage in 1725 until her death in 1768. The daughter of Stanisław Leszczyński, the deposed King of Poland, and Catherine Opalińska, her 42-years and 9 months service was the longest of any queen in French history. Marie was popular among the French people for her generosity and introduced many Polish customs to the royal court at Versailles.
