CRASHSTAPPEN people forget about him so much but not me, fr, I will forever remember what it took for him to become a champion. How some people called him washed when he immediately wasn't what they were expecting, they're all really quiet right now. that's why I don't bother with Charles haters, his time will come.

I was explaining to a friend (who only kept up with F1 through her dad growing up and left home in 2018/19) last night something about F1 and Max and she went "oh he's world champion? I just remember him being like really aggressive and only a big name because his dad drove with Schumacher" and like...massive reality check for all of us. Max was regularly called overrated and washed and now he's arguably one of the top 5 GOATs in the sport. Media and people's perception of drivers is fickle, which is why I trust paddock sources or past/current world champions on who they think the next WDC will be after Max (they all say Charles).

I just want him to have one good thing...the jetpack actually working for once...Lucky, someone who Charles sees a lot of Albert in, being the first one to use it. Even if its just a variation of Lucky AOOEUEUHUGHUHGHH...

me @ MASH s10: look I understand that we’ve had 6 seasons establishing how much Hawkeye and BJ care about each other and granted, you’ve had some winners (the charades scene??? the two of them sleeping on top of each other in twas the day after christmas!!!!??? where there’s a will there’s a war!!!!!????) but as much as I think their domestic arguments are interesting + sometimes very funny + revealing + contextually in terms of how long they’ve been there opens the door to some analysis about the fraying on the nerves that happens when you’re stuck together like that for so long, regardless of how much you care about one another... but I really would like them to get along more, because there’s not much left to go and I’m already too sad and prepared to be sadder

(also maybe a few more episodes where Hawkeye gets to play along in the ensemble story and isn’t off to the side being traumatised in new ways)

(I do like seeing that also though)

(but maybe he could receive some more comfort on the tail-end of the hurt every once in awhile?)
