My cats been missing for three days, I've had her since I was 11 and she is REALLY important to me(shes also never been gone this long). We just got a ton of snow, im worried for her and I overheard my parents saying they think our neighbor did something to her. Reki is probably one of the best people to be around if you want your mind taken off the situation. He’s good at listening as well if you want to talk but his real talent lies in distracting you.

Having said that, he’s very adaptable so if you prefer being comforted in a different way, he can change his methods to suit you.

If you feel like talking or just need comfort, Reki gives fantastic hugs. He’ll sway gently side to side and rub your back or head.

If you want to go out and help look for your cat, he’ll tag along. That way he’s helping but is also with you for support.

Of course, he’d also take his skateboard out and skate around town looking for your missing fur friend on his own. But his first priority is making sure you’re okay.

Langa is the best listener out of everyone here. If you want to talk about what's happening or reminisce about good times with your furry friend, he's there to lend an ear.

Much like Reki, he's going to grab his skateboard and go around town trying to find any clues as to where your cat's gone. 

He'll ask around at S as well. While Reki might have some reservations about going up to a random person at S and asking if they've seen a cat around, Langa does have the same qualms.

Langa's not the best with physical touch but if you want hugs or any other form of physical comfort, he'll do his best.

All in all, he'll be a more quiet supporter in this situation. He'll do what he can to help but he's a lot more subtle than some of the others.

Oh, Miya is finding your cat and discovering every detail of what happened. He’s starting a search on every social media platform he has and is ready to take it to the news if need be.

A missing cat is no joke to someone who's favourite animals are felines so Miya is right there with you in missing your furry friend.

He's probably very attached to your cat as well so he's going to do whatever he can to get it back. If that means he has to call in some favours thanks to his standing and fame, he'll do just that.

Miya's not great with words or physical affections but if that's what you want to help you deal with the situation, he'll do his best.

If he gets to choose how to comfort you, he's going to just be in your presence. He may not be great with words or physical comfort but he's got a reasonably soothing presence.

Joe is taking you back to the restaurant, making you your favourite dish, calling Cherry so he can give you company, and setting out to search for your cat.

He’d be there in person but doing nothing while someone he cares about is hurting is hard for him, especially if he knows there are things he can do to help.

Joe will also print out missing flyers and stick them up all over town, keeping a few at the restaurant. Every customer he servs, he’ll ask if they’ve seen your furry friend (if they can give him any information, he’s offering a free dessert).

If you do particularly want his company, Joe will stay with you and make calls to a bunch of his connections from S so they can start the search.

He’s good at comforting people, especially if they want someone to talk to, either about the situation or about something else entirely. He’s a good listener and will respond at the right moments with the right words.

Cherry is the perfect combination of Joe and Miya: he's going to be hands on with helping to find your cat but he's going online as well.

He's also got more resources than Miya so he'll be sending out drones as well to scout the city in search of your cat.

He's also going to call in help from Joe. He knows that, as many connections as he has, his old friend has a lot of different connections that may also be able to help.

Because he can search remotely, Cherry will be able to spend a lot more time with you than the others.

He's very adaptable in comforting you so whether you want physical comfort, kind words, a good listener, or just someone to be with, he's got it covered.

“What’s wrong?”

Hands on your thigh, worry laced Miitsuya’s voice when he found you sitting on a pavement in the middle of nowhere, tears cascading down your cheeks.

Startled was understatement. You tried in vain to rub at your cheeks in an attempt to hide the peppered trail of tears, but that was of no use as more tears were relentlessly flowing out of your eyes, betraying your attempt to conceal your distress.

Stupid eyes!

Mitsuya’s eyes narrowed at you with worry.

“Is there someone I’m gonna have to beat up?” He asked sternly.

“N—no! It’s nothing, Taka! Don’t worry about it!” you stuttered, feeling utterly exposed before the person you'd recently begun to admire, tangled in a web of unspoken emotions.

y/n’s POV

I stutter, foot in mouth in front of the guy I recently caught feelings for. Well, obviously after moving on from Draken, the reason being that Emma likes him too. And he clearly likes her back, but who wouldn’t? Her happy demeanor would charm the unfeeling, her soft features would make anyone develop heart eyes. And then there was I, the less attractive, less important Sano sibling who’s been constantly devoured by Emma’s shadow.

Don’t get me wrong, Mikey is a great brother to me, he’s just…emotionally unavailable.

“Then why are you crying?” Mistsuya asks, softness caressing his voice as he moves to sit next to me instead of in front of me, a gesture of quiet support.

I hesitated, torn between sharing my feelings and shielding them. But his eyes were inviting me to confound in them, promising me to find solace within their depth. Pale, yet captivating. I could see myself swimming in them, in a sea filled with tranquility.

I turn my head again, facing front and look at the ground.

“I—I’m fed up, Taka. I’ve been living in Emma’s shadow for almost my whole life, and I get it, she’s pretty and pretty people are obviously…more favored. She’s just very charming and—I’m —I’m just the less important, invisible Sano sibling. I—I’m trying so hard to just break free…but it’s so hard!” I open up, tears flowing down my flushed cheeks again.

Mitsuya was silent. But his silence was comforting, it told me, in an unspoken whisper, to continue.

“I—I really don’t know what to do, Taka! I’m r—really—really trying! And I—“

I choked on my words, interrupted by Mitsuya shifting to kneel in front of me, meeting my eyes at eye level

His gaze spoke volumes—love, care, and a sense of belonging.

He grabbed a lock of my hair, gently twirling it around his finger and started speaking, his words laden with sincerity.

“Who said that you aren’t pretty, y/n? I think you’re absolutely gorgeous, hell, I find you prettier than Emma!” He grins as he releases the lock of hair and reaches up to my cherry-like cheeks, the pad of his thumb wiping my tears away, making my heart skip a beat. Or two.

“You don’t have to be like Emma, y/n, being you is what makes you stand out the most. I can reassure you that you’re liked as much as Emma is by everyone around you, yeah?” He smiles as he stand up up once more, stretching his hand out to me.

His gestures alleviated my burdens, and I grasped his hand as he pulled me up.

It was unexpected, very unexpected actually, but as soon as i stood up, his arms wrapped around my torso, embracing me with an infinite amount of warmness as clang on to him, wanting to melt into him as I’ve never felt so at peace before. I don’t want to ever leave his embrace.

The wind softly hummed as we stood, in the middle of nowhere, clinging onto each other. He pulled away, planting a kiss on the top of my head.

“Feeling better?”

“Yeah—thank you Taka,” I smiled at him.

“Of course, now let’s go get some ice cream—I’m starving!” He whined jokingly as he guided me to his motorcycle, handing me a helmet.

And with that, the both of us were dashing against the wind, as my hand were tightly wrapped around his torso.

“S-slow down, Taka!” I yelled, scared for my life.

A chuckle came out of his mouth as he sped up.

Damians POV

I walked into The Judgment Day’s locker room, getting ready for my match. But I noticed the atmosphere felt different. Dom and Finn were mostly quiet. They were never this way before?

“Guys tell me whats up why are you two so quiet?” I asked.

Dominik scratched his head as Finn opened his mouth to answer me.

“Look man we’ll talk after the promo,” Finn and Dominik both walked past me as I stared at them in shock.

After the promo , me , Finn , and Dominik walked back stage. Back to our locker room. I tried not to let my confusion get into the way of the promo, but I ofter found myself zoning out whole thinking about it. They had never acted this way towards me , so what made their feelings change? 

I sat down on the locker room bench as I waited for Finn and Dominik to talk.

“Look we know about the Y/N situation..,” Dominik spoke first.

“And we dont think what you did was valid man , I mean did you know what happened to her mom that day, and the fact you put the weight of a breakup on her is just cruel..” Finn chimed in.

I felt confused. 

“What happened with her mom?” I asked.

Dominik sighed as he began to speak.

“She got into a car crash — A drunk driver is what she said.” 

“Look the only reason we know this is because Rhea told us about. After she texted Rhea about the breakup, and she repeated what you said— she just broke down man,” Dominik had a sour look on his face , meanwhile Finn turned away from them both.

Then the realization hit me. Thats why her eyes were so red. She had been carrying a hard weight in her shoulder. And when I broke up with her , that was just the cherry in top. A heavy weight of guild filled my mind as Finn and Damian told me what had happened. By the end , I knew I had to talk to her. Make things right. That was the least I could do, I thought to myself.

Your POV

I layed in bed , curled up as a thick blanket covered my body, when I heard a key unlock the front door. My face morphed into confusion as I sat up from my curled up position in the bed. Soon enough I heard the door to now my own bedroom creak open. I felt my stomach drop as I saw a worried face. His face.

End of your Pov

He didn’t understand how you felt until he saw it. When Damian had walked into the bedroom , he first saw your worried and confused expression. Your eyes were bloodshot red and had darker spots under your eyes. 

“W-why are you here?” You asked. Your voice was shakey. Fragile. Like you could break any minute.

As you looked down, Damian came closer to your sitting figure. His hands found its place on both sides of your head. Making you look up at him. 

“I came to apologize. I didn’t know it was this bad — and I really messed up. I just want you to know it was a mistake. Ive been a mess these few days and I thought about coming back.. I did and when Dom and Finn told me what happened I knew I had to come back”.

“I know i messed up, just please ill do better this time. Im so sorry.” He finally completed his rambling as a tear rolled down onto your cheek.

“I don’t know if I could trust you so easily, b-but ill try. I just need you to regain my trust. Day by day.” You replied as  Damian blinked away the tears that threatened to drop from his eyes.

“I wanna make it up to you even if its little.” He said.

He opened his mouth to speak again. “Cmon let’s go eat dinner , and we could take a bth if you would like to?” 

I nodded as a sign of okay , and he went downstairs to get the food for us ready. A small smile found its way to my face as I finally felt joy enter my body. I was happy to finally have Damian back. You felt better already.

(Eclair x Cherry Blossom) Headcannons!!

-They met at a sakura tree park in the center of the Parfeadia City

-Eclair was just taking a walk and decided to sit down under this big tree in the center of the park and read over some of his history research he brought with him

-he was just chillin there when he felt a tap on his shoulder and heyyy it’s Cherry Blossom!!

-she explains that the tree he was under was her usual picnic spot and if it was okay if she set up near him

-Eclair is totally fine with this and even apologetic about sitting in her spot, but then she says something along the lines of “hey I was actually supposed to have this picnic with my two sisters but they had made other plans and couldn’t come with me, but I hate being alone on picnics and i dont want all this extra food to go to waste sooo did you maybe wanna join me?” 🌸

-Eclair’s a little hesitant at first but he agrees to the offer and the two have a great time! Blossom actually asks about what he was working on and Eclair got to ramble a little about his research and she also got to ramble about her picnic set-up!

-so now they’re really good friends and really enjoy spending time together! Cherry Blossom likes to invite Eclair on outings and Eclair showed Blossom his museum.

-Eclair finds Blossom to be like a breath of fresh air. He’s always so busy with his museum and teaching that he never really gets to catch a break, but he never realized how overworked he was until Blossom became his friend.

-and Cherry Blossom is actually not the best at socializing?? Like she gets along great with her sisters but meeting new cookies to her is hard because she tends to be extremely blunt with others and fails to read the room. Also her temperament issues certainly don’t help. But Eclair is a much more mellow and understanding individual who can actually relate to her about socializing. Plus now she has another person besides her family to go on picnics with!!

-Cherry Blossom was the first to catch feelings and she went into BIG denial about it. She was scared because she knows damn well she isn’t perfect and because she wasn’t perfect then to her that meant it was inevitable before she’d hurt him in some way and of course she wanted to avoid that. Also this was one of her best friends and absolutely did NOT want to risk losing him

-Eclair caught feelings a few months after Blossom did and he didn’t know how to feel about it. He was excited, but Eclair has been in some not so great relationships in the past and those experiences made him hesitant about opening up again.

-so Blossom is now acting more on edge around Eclair and he notices that she’s acting strange and gets worried that something might be wrong or even maybe if HE did something wrong

-eventually Eclair asks her what’s wrong on one of their picnics and she gets all flustered and tries to deny anything’s wrong but he can tell something is definitely up

-at this point Eclair has convinced himself that he had done something so starts apologizing for making her upset and to just tell him what it is he did

-and Cherry Blossom is just staring at him wide eye shocked like “oh my god i’ve been making him think this was his fault im so freakin stupid” so SHE starts apologizing about making HIM worry and it’s just a mess of a conversation lol

-this goes on for like 10 minutes but eventually they both stop and realize how ridiculous they’re being and Eclair starts to laugh, which in turn makes Cherry Blossom laugh and now they’re laughing together

-annnnnddd that’s when the two confess at the same time! it was incredibly awkward for them both but they accepted each other and became offical!!

-Now here’s where the fun begins :)

-They still go on picnics every week and it’s usually under the big sakura tree where they both met and confessed!

-on top of picnics they also enjoy taking strolls together, visiting various cafes around the city, and feeding ducks (Blossom often has to scare off the mean ducks when they do this)

-during their nighttime picnics Cherry Blossom likes to bring her radio and put on music to dance to. The first time she did this Eclair was incredibly hesitant and even a bit embarrassed about dancing with her, but he learned to love it

-oh and don’t think they’re all graceful like, these two are laughing the entire time and stumbling over each other and missing every step but they’re having fun and that’s all that matters to them

-Eclair has learned how to comfort Blossom if her temperament starts to get the best of her. He’s taught himself how to remove themselves from the situation along with several breathing and management exercises to help her regain her focus

-Blossom has also learned how to listen to comfort Eclair whenever he remembers something traumatic that’s happened to him (guy’s been through a lot in my fanon)

-Eclair gets REALLY red when he blushes. Like we’re talking tomato red blush. So Eclair is usually trying to hide his face and Blossom finds this absolutely adorable.

-Blossom also love Eclair’s long hair. She likes combing it and she subconsciously strokes his ponytail at every chance she gets

-Blossom taught Eclair how to cook! He knew how to cook before-hand but he wasn’t necessarily the best. But now he helps her in the kitchen! He chops up all the produce and helps assemble, but he has this fear of the stove so Blossom does the actual cooking part (she doesn’t mind)

-When Eclair introduced Blossom to his siblings she was very scared but Eclair assured her that she’s be able to get along fine with both of them

-and boy was he right because Blossom soon learned that she could show her more perfectionist and elegant side around Earl Grey and her more spunky and mischievous side with Rougefort. She became like a social chameleon!!

-Rougefort and Cherry Blossom are now an unstoppable sibling-in-law duo and you cannot tell me otherwise. fear them.

“hey wanna mess with my younger brother?” 🧀

“what the hell, Rougefort?!… Ofc I do!!!” 🌸

-Eclair met Cherry Cookie while him and Blossom were still friends and when he did he was incredibly overwhelmed, but also a little charmed?

-he’s constantly afraid she was going to blow something up, but her spunkiest and energy intrigued him and he truly admires her passionate spirit!

-Eclair and Cherry’s sibling-in-law dynamic is the funniest thing and Blossom loves to watch Eclair try and keep up with her sister. Eclair also gets anxious whenever Cherry is inside the museum.

-Blossom will not hesitate to kill for Eclair. If you make him upset you better decide on what flowers you want cause Blossom’s already digging your grave

-They both easily get jealous for each other, which isn’t they’re most flattering trait and can strain their relationship a little, but no relationship is perfect and they’re trying to work on it

-oh and they love dress shopping together. The two can spend HOURS in a single store and it will drives the employees crazy

I want to also communicate here that I felt like one bingo didn’t cover much my opinions, so I’ll be doing the one I mentioned in the event post alongside the unhinged bingo (just bc it’s really funny)

now, for Chizu-chan and Yano-chin~ [we get Cater later]

I want to adopt Chizuru and Yano is such a gem. It’s been a while since I last watched Kimi ni Todoke but I’m currently finishing reading the manga and, let me say, I was really (gladly) surprised since episode 1 that Chizuru and Yano would become such good friends for Sawako in all ways

Because they really start off as a bit absent minded and just like everybody, they didn’t get that Sawako was really gentle and not-scary at all, but the friendship that grows between the three of them and as the manga/anime flesh out their characters, you simply fall in love with them. 

I love how Chizu is this big tall delinquent-ish (without actually being one) with a big heart and 100% air head in everything lol she’s so precious <3 as for Yano, at the same time I didn’t think much about her previously (more bc she’s a very solid character and that’s enough for me), reading the manga helped me see more of her and discover a lot of development and growth that was really interesting. Her arc is very deep but so good!

In summary, I love them! Like Hanajima and Uotani from Fruits Basket, Chizuru and Yano are another iconic best supporting friends duo for our beloved protagonists <3

hold up, it’s Cay-kun time~~

Now, Yulia is an introvert and Cater is an extrovert. That alone sums up the situation they have lol While it’s true that Yulia is not so intimate of Cater as with other Heartslabyul boys (especially Deuce, Riddle and Trey), they have a normal acquaintance relationship and Cater treats Yulia like the little sister he never had: quiet and that don’t drives him crazy~

So in general they might not be besties~ but Cater likes Yulia’s presence in Heartslabyul and will try to spoil her a little bit (more like bribing her to help him take photos and eat at cafes so someone can dispose of the cute pies and cakes that he will never eat).

Yulia does know of Cater’s backstory and his inner sadness with all the personal stories she read about him previous to her isekai’d situation, and she relates to him about having to move out from where one was previously established a lot of times bc it happened to her too in her world. “He’s like me fr” — she cries a bit remembering it

But that’s how far and relatable Cater can be for her tho. Yulia senses really fast that Cater hides a lot of insecurities behind his facade and that his social-driven personality is very influenced by this problem too (at the same time, there’s a bit of truth in it). And yes, she will run away from having to go outside NRC in most cases bc she already dislikes interacting needlessly and going out really burns her out, so she has to be strong when Cater cries out that “it will be so fun to go shopping and see stuff!!~” and she denies. Sometimes too fast that it should be considered rude. 

Cater laughs at this, believe it or not. Maybe bc it reminds him of Idia and while Yulia is a bit more outspoken if measured next to Idia, she has most of his mannerisms and dislikes. Then again, Yulia’s quiet personality is something that Cater started to appreciate, especially next to the fact that he was surrounded by energetic girls like his older sisters. Also, Yulia has a sweet tooth, so Cater can always count on her to eat his leftovers from Unbirthday Parties when he couldn’t get Trey to change the flavor.

Yulia is not particularly someone who asks to eat something a second time but she is really, 100% thankful that Cater helps her out on that. 1) bc she doesn't need to ask for more herself, 2) her stomach is a black hole when it’s about cake and chocolate. 

In summary, Yulia gives a 6/10 for Cater in terms of good average relationship. No, she will not call him “Cay-kun” or “Cater-senpai” in a cute voice. All things considered, it would be easier to get her to say that than taking a picture together lol

so as mentioned here (just in the linked chapter but if u want to read the whole fic i wont stop u) the girl cries for weeks. she's seven at the time and her family getting dusted has been a major (not unwarranted) fear since she like. started to understand the state of the world. so naturally it hits her hard, she gets Way more nightmares about the rest of the crew getting caught, her powers start manifesting more bc of the stress, she puts up a fight when people try to go on runs, its really not good. the rlly like. tough thing abt it is that no ones 100% certain what happened to cherri but they know he hasnt been mentioned in any traffic reports which is a Good indicator he isnt dead. still, no one wants to give the girl the potentially false hope that hes still alive (and therefore coming back) so they mostly just. avoid talking abt him around her bc its nearly guaranteed to set her off

poison got angry. i dont know if anyone's picked up on it yet (heavy sarcasm), but pois is Really protective and Really invested in his relationships and lashes out when he feels threatened in regard to either of those. losing cherri after being in a crew with him for eight years absolutely fucked them up bc as much as they were never his biggest fan, they started considering cherri family (subconsciously) within like. a few weeks of him getting to the diner. this was a MAJOR blindside, cherri was absolutely not the kind of guy that would just up and vanish and so when he did, the part of pois that thought it was intentional got mad At cherri for hurting the crew and the girl and also got mad at himself for "falling for it." yes, a deeper part of pois Knew that cherri hadn't just left, and that part was really fucking worried for him, but all those feelings got a bit muddled in the wake of everything and left pois just fucking seething

jet and ghoul had very similar reactions actually. theyve both been in the desert long enough that deaths and disappearances are kind of expected? like obviously it fucking hurt, they both loved cherri so much and the first two things that everyone thought when they found him gone were "he's dead" followed by "he went back to waveriding" and both of those are like. horrible things to have to think. jet was the first to break down and sob when they found cherri was gone and ghoul was next. after that, while poison was working through all his rage where he couldn't hurt anyone else, the two of them spent a lot of time sitting together, not really doing the comfort thing bc we know ghoul hates that but at least giving each other someone to sit with and process and plan for like, what to do next. after a few weeks 'what to do next' was accept that cherri wasn't coming back, that they couldn't find him, and that they should probably put his mask in the mailbox.

and no one was more opposed to that idea than kobra. after the initial two weeks or so where he sat on the roof, chainsmoked, and wouldn't look at, let alone talk to anyone other than poison, he got worryingly insistent that they were going to find cherri. it was like the only thing he could focus on was getting cherri back, absolutely scary to watch the way he refused to consider the fact that cherri might be gone. he wouldn't even really get mad when anyone talked about cherri in the past tense, he'd just kind of correct them with a confused look and mention that he "heard someone saw him in two last week, I'm gonna check it out." might've gotten a little less careful in firefights, a little less polite during trade deals, but mostly everyone else was happy that he was talking and eating again, they wouldn't mention it.

also okay for angies au i'm still kind of figuring out what the timeline looks like for that bc if i didn't shift anything at all she'd be two for cherri's disappearance/sing and that complicates how i KNOW her and the girls relationship is. BUT i can share a fun fact that If her au actually existed and If i wanted to think about how it worked with sing, cherri's disappearance followed by the girl getting captured within three months (give or take) means that the four wouldn't be willing to leave her alone while they went into the city, not even with doc and pony, and ghoul would've stayed behind with her.

It was a perfect moment that Sokka had captured. No wonder held it with him at all times. If someone had looked at Zuko like that, he’d never want to see anything again.

As he took in the photograph, Sokka sat next to him in silence. His hand was clutching the ring around his neck again in his fist, pressing it close to his mouth as he peered over Zuko’s shoulder to look. Zuko turned to him to compliment the picture and saw a sad fondness lingering in his eyes."

She smiled at him once she realized he was awake.

"Can we have pancakes?" She asked shyly, hiding her mouth just below the edge of the bed as she looked up at him with hopeful eyes.

That look was going to be dangerous for him later on, he could aready tell.

"Sure thing, Izumi, just let me sleep for five more minutes, mkay?" He asked as he shut his eyes again. He was exhausted from last nights events, and the sun had barely risen. How did Zuko do this?"

Before Sokka could run off again to continue his search, a hand grabbed his arm. One of Arnook’s advisors, Malina, had started dragging him towards the podium.

“Do you not realize how late you are for this Sokka? The ceremony was supposed to begin with your speech nearly an hour ago-” she hissed at him as she pulled him along through the crowd.

“Malina I’m sorry but I really need to speak with Arnook it is urgent-”

“This damn speech of yours is what’s urgent right now Sokka, you can speak with Arnook later but the guests are getting antsy so you need to give your speech right. Now.”

“But-”

“Now.”

Maline shoved Sokka towards the podium and suddenly all eyes were on him. Every guest in attendance had their focus solely on Sokka."

zuko is a little shit part 2. the amount of sarcasm i have dripping off of heath ledger zuko is glorious. let zuko be a little shit. i havent added to this in months but when i finish some of my other wips i cant wait to get back to this.

i have more wips and drafts saved but none of them have anything juicy or funny or interesting yet because all of them are like less than three pages so far

Aone Takanobu x Skater Girl Reader

warnings: maybe a swear or two

“God Ko did you have to take so long? We’re going to be late now. I should have just left without you!” you shouted at your best friend Koganegawa over the sound of the wind in your ears, your foot coming down to push against the concrete on the sidewalk as you both skateboard the relatively short distance to school.

 He had volleyball practice and you had softball practice at the same time in the morning, and being two out of a handful of students who like to skate you guys became fast friends,  when you ran into each other the first morning skating to school for practice he decided right then and there you would be best friends. 

“Oh come on Y/N-chan! I know you’re glad you didnt leave me behind!”  you shake your head, your hands shoved in the front pocket of your black hoodie as you coasted down the hill, “no part of me is glad!” you shout back and he sticks his tongue out at you, causing you to laugh. 

Since most of the teachers and faculty weren’t at the school in the morning you usually used your skateboard in the school, which wasn’t a problem until today. Because of Koganegawa being unusually late, they were practicing with a different setter, causing the ball to be set at the wrong angle causing Aone to hit it straight out the door at the same moment you passed by and of course hitting you in the back and knocking you off your board. 

“Aone you hit someone!” a voice shouted from the gym, Koganegawa who had stopped a few feet before you so he could go into gym was now on his knees with laughter, you caught your self with your hands and knees then with the momentum slipped onto your elbows, you felt your knees sting as you rolled up to a sitting position. 

You could hear the team running towards the door as you inspected your knees, Koganegawa having a hard time crawling over to you since he was laughing so hard, “you should have seen that! I wish I could have gotten it on video! It was hilarious!” he’s on his back now, holding his stomach as he laughs, you shoot him a glare “shut up you ass! It really hurt!!” you rubbed your wrists, they were starting to ache from the impact. 

The rest of your angry words died on your tongue as a white haired boy ran over to you, taking a knee and looking at you with furrowed brows. “Are you okay?” he says and you feel your cheeks flush from his intense gaze, he reaches out and takes your hands in his, inspecting your palms and wrists as you stared up at his handsome face, completely at a loss for words. 

“I didn’t mean to hit you” he says, the rest of the team behind him watching the scene go down, most of them silent, shocked that their quiet giant was speaking so much. You can't help the quiet giggle that escaped your throat when he looked back into your eyes, “I- I’m fine! No worries! A couple scrapes is all” you manage to say, your cheeks feeling hot and your palms starting to sweat, he was so cute! you ‘ve always had a crush on him from all the games you went to, he had such a kind and good vibe it made your heart happy, and here he was! Your crush! Basically holding your hands! After he hit you with a volleyball but that was a different case.  

“Yo Y/n why are you acting so weird?” Koganegawa says, now kneeling beside you both, looking between you and Aone, trying to figure out the vibe he was getting, the rest of the team had retreated back inside the gym and you heard some whispering from inside. You send a glare at him as Aone looks down at your knees now, the skin red and rubbed raw through the holes that were already in your jeans. His gentle fingers brush above the mark and you get goosebumps, when he’s satisfied that you weren’t really hurt he took your hand and helped you to your feet. 

He leans down and picks up your skateboard, handing it to you as he bows deeply “I’m sorry again” he says and you take the board before awkwardly bowing back, “dude you’re still late for practice” Koganegawa says and you curse under your breath, “see you after class Ko! Thank you Aone!” you say as you throw your board down, skating off in the direction of the girls locker room at the other end of the hall. 

“How are you friends with that girl?” Futakuchi was saying as they started to practice again, “she’s always angry. She's a psycho skater. You heard the rumor that she lit the principal's car on fire” Koganegawa growls “and that was just a rumor! She's a good person, sure she has mean vibes but she’s just a badass! She’s blunt and keeps me humble. She’s a good friend and you should see her play softball, she's insanely talented” he sets a ball to Aone perfectly to spike and the white haired boy hits it with so much force it slams against the gym floor. He didn’t like hearing Futakuchi bad mouth you, you were adorable and sweet, how could they not see that? “Focus guys come on” and with that their coach had silenced all talk unless it was vb related. 

“Ugh! Im so awkward! I thanked him! I thanked him for hitting me with a ball! God help me!” you think as you take your board out of the locker in the locker room, practice was finished and now it was time for classes, you make your way to your normal locker and stash your board there, leaning in, you rest your head against the board and books as you sigh defeatedly.

“Whats your problem?” Ko says coming up by you to his locker that was on your left, “did you fuck up stealing third again? Or maybe you’re feeling like an idiot because of your encounter with Aone earlier? Does someone have a crush?’ you growl and lean out of your locker “at least I wasn't caught with volleyballs in my shirt like boobs” you quip back and he gasps “that was one time!” he shouts and you scowl “yeah, sure, okay” you close your locker door and turn to him “if you tell anyone about this morning I’ll print off that picture and post it around school. Don't make me do something i would really enjoy” you smile sweetly before turning and heading down to your first class. 

After school you had more practice before showering and heading to the gym to wait for Ko, it was something you had done before but this time your stomach had flipped into knots thinking about Aone again. You wanted to run into him but at the same time you never wanted to see him again, you popped a cherry bubblegum lollipop into your mouth as you walked, your board under your arm. 

You stuck your head into the gym to see the team just standing and chatting, practice having just ended, you make eye contact with Aone and squeak as you pull your head back, pulling the sucker from your mouth as you lean against the other door that was closed, your heart racing and your cheeks already starting to feel warm. You weren't a shy person so why did he make you feel this way? You tried to calm your racing heart but before you could your heart footsteps approaching. 

Aone looked out the hallway, around the door to look down at you, his eyebrows furrowed. “Hi” you whisper before popping the sucker back into your mouth. You saw the corners of his mouth twitch up into a smile as he walks out into the hallway to stand in front of you. “I- I uh” you stumble through our words, swallowing hard you took the sucker from your mouth again, your hands moving through the air as you spoke, “I’m sorry about earlier. When i was being awkward. I thanked you as I left, essentially thanking you for hitting me with a ball and that was... weird of me. Anyway I hope you dont think im weird now” you look down at your feet for a moment, your faded black and white slip on checkered vans tapping together at the toes, before looking back up into his kind eyes “do you? Uh i mean, do you think i'm weird now?”  you twist the sucker stick between your thumb and forefinger as you wait for his response. 

He shakes his head no and you smile, a sigh of relief passing your lips as you scratch behind your ear with your free hand “oh good!” you say “im glad” he reaches out, taking your hand gently in his hand, a look of concern as he inspects your palm which was now covered in tiny cuts. You chuckle softly and relax your hand in his “it wasn't because I fell” you realize after saying that, that it was because of a fall, just not that one, you hastily correct yourself, the awkward feeling in your body growing “I mean, it wasn't because of you making me fall, it was because of softball, I forgot my gloves today” 

The rest of the team exited the gym now, stopping when they see you two, Aone doesn't let go of your hand he continues his inspection as the rest of the team just watches. “Aone” you whisper after a few moments and then he looks back up at you then over at his team, sending them a look that says if they didn't just go he’d be mad, Koganegawa in the front put a skip in his step as he ran off towards the locker rooms, pulling Futakuchi behind him so he wouldn't stay behind and be a dick, the rest of the team following suit, all of them watching you two the whole way causing your cheeks to grow as red as possible.

 “Uh shouldn't you go as well?” you whisper and pop the sucker back in your mouth, he watches you actions and you smile softly “want one? I have grape, cherry, and watermelon” he nods and says “watermelon” you reach in your backpack and hand him a watermelon bubble gum lollipop and he bows a little before taking off the wrapper and putting it in his mouth, a smile forming on his lips as he enjoyed the flavor. “Thank you” he says, his voice a little whistle-y around the candy in his mouth and you nod “no problem” 

After that you brought him a watermelon sucker every day, making sure to stop in after practice every evening and give it to him, he looked so happy every time it made your heart soar, after a little while he started sitting by you in the cafeteria, your other softball and skater friends looking at you funny the first few times but soon didn't mind. Your angry badass persona would be replaced by bubbly shy and cute, three things you rarely were. 

“What is going on?” Futakuchi said one afternoon in the cafeteria as he looked over at you two together “I don’t get it.” another one of the team members says “She’s skater punk and will beat your ass and he's a quiet soft boy won’t hurt a fly” one of Futakuchi’s friends says through a huge bite of a sandwich. Ko just sighs “you guys should get to know her. She’d never hurt a fly either. She's actually quite afraid of confrontation as well unless she knows you or you really deserve it” after a moment Futakuchi says “i still don't see it”

Your phone beeps and you look down at it, it’s a text from Ko that just says “looking cozy ;)” you send him back a middle finger emoji. 

When you leave the cafeteria you turn to say goodbye to Aone but stop with the way he was looking at you, expectantly, like he wanted to say something but was too shy. You were about to ask him to walk you to class but the words couldn’t escape your mouth, your shy tongue keeping them in your throat. Koganegawa comes over and lightly shoves your shoulder. “Hey lovebirds” he says with a mischievous grin and you glare at him “what are you doing?” you ask him through your teeth, your cheeks growing warmer and he just chuckles “our y/n here is quite something huh?” he asks Aone to which he just nods once “I know a secret about her if you want to know it” your face turns totally red as you glare at the dumbass “Ko I swear to god if you don't shut your mouth” you seethe at him and he just laughs harder, sneaking to hide behind Aone and simultaneously standing on his tiptoes to whisper “she has a cruuush” your eyes go wide as you stare in horror at your supposed best friend, your cheeks red in embarrassment as Aone just looks down at you, confusion in his expression. “KO! Shut! Up!” you say and he shakes his head “on you” he finishes his sentence before taking off, you go to run after him but Aone just grabs your hand, keeping you next to him “is it.. True?” he asks and you look down at your shoes again, debating lying but you doubt you’ll get a better chance to confess, “yes” you whisper and after a few long seconds of silence you look up at him, meeting his eyes. 

 His cheeks are dusted pink as well as the tips of his ears and he has a small smile on his lips “I” his voice was a little too quiet so he clears his throat to try again “I like you too” he says and you feel your smile widen, going from ear to ear as you beam up at him “really?” you ask and he nods. You can't help but throw your arms around his middle and hug him in the middle of the hallway, he hugs you back gently, his big body almost engulfing yours. 

The bell rings for the first time and you pull back “will you walk me to my class?” you ask and he nods, smiling down at you with his eyes closed. You lace your fingers with his and begin walking again “to think this all started because you hit me with your volleyball and sent me flying off my skateboard” he sends you a look that says he was still sorry about that and you laugh, squeezing his hand as your cheeks turn red again “I'm not sorry about it Aone, so you shouldnt be either. I got to meet you and it was worth it.”  the tips of his ears turn red as his thumb brushes yours. You get a glimpse of Ko watching you down the hall very obviously taking photos of you guys and you remember what you told him you’d do if he ever told your secret, you squeeze Aone’s hand softly again and smile mischievously up at him, a smile he would come to know all too well, and say “so I have to do something a little, delinquent-y and I was wondering if you would help me? It’s a prank on Ko for spilling my secret”

now imagine you find out the Castle-Dwelling Nerds have gotten so scared of the concept of linear time that theyre murdering the bug elves for experiments or something, again you dont know OR care but Your bug elves need your help so youre like “okay yeah ill take you guys somewhere while this all blows over, dont worry, ive got your adorable little buggy backs” except before you can leave, some other bugs show up trying to convince your squad that they need to STAY HERE ACTUALLY with the rest of the bug people and get themselves killed ~together~ and youre like no thats dumb also this girl has been poisoned can we focus on that please. and these strangers go NO YOURE EVIL AND YOU CLEARLY DID IT, even though youre like, right there and also have a sword, so like. great sense of self-preservation there. but you arent in the mood to get in fights with muppets so you use your Pirate Detective skills to figure out whodunnit and save the lady and hurray, except one of the strangers just???? randomly tries to fucking stab you out of nowhere and hes got a spider on him so youre like “well clearly the spider was controlling him so ill excuse that for now” but they insist the spider is NOT a spider and wont tell you anything. so youre like “okay fine get off my boat thats also a turtle i need a drink”

then later youre getting all set to go with your Elf Pals, got everything all ready, everybodys there, yep, time to set sail. except you get like a couple miles out and. theres nobody behind you

and you check again and, yep still nobody. and it turns out YOUR bugs ended up flaking out on you because of those same strangers who came over acting all high and mighty and telling them how to run things, which is clearly your job, and they dont even HAVE a boat or a cool hat or a turtle or ANYTHING, and now your bugs are going to stay behind and die like a bunch of idiots and to top it all off you cant get anywhere without their navigators and stuff because despite having 4 arms youre still just one (very cool very buff and swashbuckling) dinosaur lady. so you turn around. youre like “okay. okay. i can salvage this. theres still SOMEBODY i can wrangle into helping me out”

The Witcher And The Baker

(Ok to rb! This is the first time I write a geralt fic that I actually like! So please rb with nice words!,even if you dont know the Netflix series or the games!go off!)

"There's an inn down the road"they said to geralt.

Its not an inn, Its a damn lodging house instead of an inn!the thing was huge!.

--In what can I help you--said the inn Keeper, a young woman with white dragon horns and a sunflower apron said.

--Ill be staying here for a while--geralt answered in his short and dry tone--How much Is it going to be?.

--well,since youre going to become a regular then I guess I should Lower the price,how About 20 gold coins--the inn keepers voice was sweet and soft spoken, and it made the witchers cheeks burn Pink.

--O oh okay--he said, clearing his throat--wheres my room?

The Man sets the coins down and the woman grabs it, putting in a chest under the counter and then walking to the Man.

--Follow me, over here

She kept her soft tone, and they walked down a corridor.

Geralt was baffled,no inn keeper had treated Him like that, softly and kindly as she did.

then they turned the corner and the second room they stop.

--Here it is,it has a bathroom and its own kitchen but if by any chance you cant Cook please tell me and ill do it for you

--Please,you have already been too kind-- the witchers dry tone seemed softer as well as his expression.

--Have I?--she giggles, smiling--please, go and rest, enjoy your stay...

--Thank you-- he nodds and enters the room, sighing as his body relaxes.

He leaves the weapons on the table,and takes off the heavy armor, laying on the bed, its comfortable and the matress ,it sinks under his weight.

How on earth did she even get matresses that comfortable?and charge so low for it?.

Then he freezes as he hears a soft lullaby being sang.

His dorm happened to be just behind the kitchen, the smell of baked goods started to make him feel sleepy.

When was the last time he had slept well?, when was the last time he slept?.

He cant really think of an answer, the inn keepers soft voice was luring him to sleep.

The place was just the right ammount of warm, the matress was made by the gods, and the covers of fur werent itchy, was geralt on the heaven itself?.

He flips on his side covering his body with the blanket,it had been a long day of witcher fuckery, and it was only noon.

His body was asking him to sleep.

And so heavy eyelids Turned into closed eyes.

And then he fell asleep.

Its late afternoon, geralt wakes up with a soft knock on his door.

--Sir?--The inn keepers voice asked-- I have some snacks and tea ready, come by if you want some, free of charge!

The Man grunts in response, he sits on the bed and stretches his neck, hearing the womans steps Fade away.

He sighs and goes into the shower, warm water too? What was up with this place.

Now, after a quick shower, he Walked back to the counter, there were some tables and some other people there staying.

He sat alone right at the table for two besides the Window.

He looks outside, its raining..

Good thing he left roach with the stable boy.

--Hmm there you are!--The inn keeper said putting down a tray of baked goods and tea on the table--May I sit?

Geralt couldnt help but smile,and nodded--of course...

She sits Infront of him,brushing a strand of chocolate brown hair behind her ear.

--I suppose since youre going to stay for a while we might as well get to know eachother, im jerico, jerico von terra

--Geralt--the Man said, shaking jericos hand.

--Well geralt, shall we?

He particularly didnt drink tea or was concerned on eating pastries or sweet things at all, but this time hed figured he would give himself a treat.

--i dont like to talk much--he said after drinking a bit of his tea.

--Its alright--she said--we can Keep silent if you want

His smile grew, nodding again.

And so they ate silently.

And well, poor geralt couldnt help but look at her, jerico had big green eyes like emeralds, soft cherry lips, and a beautiful porcelain skin.

He wanted to sigh in love.

The kindness was too much for him, maybe because he isnt used to it,maybe because it was New.

Whatever it was, he was starting to grow fond of it.

And sure,he had some questions about her, dragonborns werent well liked, but the people in town seemed to be very fond of the inn keeper.

--Dont look too much or youll pluck your eyes out

Jeri said giggling.

The Mans cheeks burn red.

--I didnt mean to stare...

--Dont worry about it

After 'tea time' geralt went back to his room.

He was internally hitting his head against the wall.

What was up with him?he asked himself.

He only hoped it wouldnt Keep him up all night.

And so days Turned to weeks, and weeks in months.

--So, mighty witcher-- jerico said, trying to annoy geralt as he helped around in the kitchen.

--Dont test me jerico....

--oh but I want to know, how was todays hunt?

The Man looks over to her with a brow raised--are you trying to bake me something again using your "cake scale"?

--no.......

It had become a habit for jerico to bake stuff for him.

The "cake scale" was measured in,the harder the hunt,the bigger the cake would be.

--Jerico I still have some cake from last weeks hunt you dont need to

--But geralt! I want to!--jer said,pouting Like a kid.

--Fine, it was alright-- she always gets him with those puppy dog eyes-- not to hard, but I did hit my back against a rock pretty badly

--then thats a medium cake,chocolate with lemon drizzle then?

He smirks,she knew him too well--vanilla, actually

--Okay then witcher go rest!

--Jerico--

--geralt--

The Man grunts and corners the woman against the kitchens counter one of his hands cups her cheek and the other cages her.

His eyes were pitch black, his skin dead pale.

Hea afraid he scared her,until with red cheeks she wiggled her brows and giggled.

--i didnt knew this side of you geralt, Pretty cool~

he groans letting her free-- is everything a joke to you?

--Maybe yes maybe not, go and rest come on

The Man sighs, its useless to argue with her.

He says a soft goodbye,and back in his room he sats there on his bed.

He had been cooking up these feelings for his inn keeper friend, he couldnt help but feel bubbly around her, the way she always treated him with respect and kindness.

How she braids his hair when he knows hes going on a long hunt that Will make taking care of his hair a living nightmare.

How she treats his wounds, scolding Him about it.

And how shed wake him up with a soft tone and her hand lightly stroking his hair,asking Him to wake up.

And he knew he wanted his life to be like that for ever.

An hour or so later jerico knocks on the door, with that softness that was so characteristic of her.

He opened the door with a big goofy smile.

--Hey

--hey, heres your cake

He took the Plate quickly leaving it on the table then back at the door leaning on the door sill.

--Ive got to ask you something

--Sure, shoot

--so...--geralt said trying to find the right words--when we first met you treated me with respect,you didnt fear me nor did you treat me poorly, why?

Jer raises an eyebrow leaning with her elbow on the wall.

--Well,because youre human too, and you deserve the same kindness as everyone else

And thats when it clicked for him, he wanted her by his side forever.

--And another thing

--hmm?

--Would you like to eat this cake with me?and I can tell you more about the hunt

Jeris eyes lit up and nodds.

She comes in, sitting with him at the table as both drink some tea, jerico listens to geralt talk about todays hunt, very invested in It.

Then geralt takes her hand, gripping it softly as he finished his tale.

--I really dont know how to go about this, so ill just say it, jerico...I like you, you have been always so sweet to me,youve spoiled me with things and I feel like I cant ever repay you for this, so let me try to make this up to you by giving you my love if you feel the same as I do

Jerico grips geralts hand and she smiles,a big grin.

She almost jumps out of his Seat, and as the Man stands up jer jumps on him, the witcher catching the dragonborn by her legs who wrap around his waist.

--you have no idea for how long have I waited to admit my feelings towards you,guess youve won this time, mighty witcher.

--dont try and test me now--he said clearly joking.

--you dont scare me--and with that she cupped his cheeks and kissed him.

He sets her on the table hugging her waist while his other hand cups her cheek, caressing it.

--And im glad I dont...

--youre such a dork

And that sent him back to his usual grumpy expression .

--Theres my geralt

--Jerico...do not test me

His eyes went black again.

--Oh you know I will...

Geralt sighs in annoyance,Why does he even try with her?
