Armes said that they didn’t have any money to pay me for what they did, but what they did have was the village, so they all talked it over and said that I could use anything in the village for free. Chessica said that I could sleep in a bed for free anytime, and Kiana said I could eat at their restaurant free of charge. The treasure-chest game was already free, but I could come any time I wanted. Anything that was laying around was also free to take as well. How nice of them! Bolson was so overcome with emotion that he had the kids join in on a dance and that was finally the end of this quest. Side Adventures – Lurelin Village Restoration Project (complete).

Okay I once wrote a Breath of the Wild fic called Any way the wind blows (because I had been giving Carry On fics Zelda themed titles, so I thought it was funny to kinda name it after AWTWB) and it’s about Link reuniting with his sister in Lurelin village. As a result, I am obsessed with the NPCs Kiana and Sebasto, since I used them for this fic.

So when I found out Lurelin got destroyed in Tears of the Kingdom and that the inhabitants were scattered over Hyrule, I was looking out for them. I recognised Chessica (in the Bazaar) and Mubs (in Lookout Landing), so I knew they had to be there so when I found them when I rebuilt their house I was very happy, especially since one of their kids grew. But it got me thinking: what if my fic was canon and Aryll lives in Lurelin when the pirates attacked, then what happened to her? Where would she go? Would she survive? And if so, would Link go nuts trying to find his sister again. And would Aryll be sick with worry when she hears he and Zelda go missing?

Anyway.... just a lil fic idea. Who knows if it’ll lead somewhere.

✦ s t o r y : Owlette was born into a poor family during a cold blizzard in the middle of April. She had never met her father and does not care for him, and have lived only with her sickly mother Beatrice until she died when Owlette was five years old. From then on, Owlette had wandered scavenging the streets until she was forcefully taken to a rundown, uncaring state orphanage. She ran away to another town when she was 15 and though she remained as a wanderer, she began to have an interest in learning how to read and studied majick partially with the help of the local librarian. She was a quick learner and and was able to enroll into an academy where she meets her current friends Chessica and Varryn. Favorite thing about them: I'm so so so happy they didn't just make her "pretty girl who likes fashion and doesnt have a real personality" kinda thing? Like she's arguably one of the most well written book character, good for her!

Since I'm your friend, now... Here's a prompt. Winter and Chloe never matched, everybody knew. But this one came with everything and she had it really hard to get out of bed in this particular day that seemed to be important, somehow. Tired of the constant whines and bed-shifting, Jessica decides to propose something that gets Chloe out of bed in a blink of the eye. (If you can't write Chessica, do it Chaubrey :))

I know it’s been in my inbox for like a week maybe longer, tbh. *looks at all the other prompts that have been in there for months* I’ll– I’ll get to those too. *sweats nervously and shoves this in your face* HERE FRIEND. IM TRASH. also this took on a mind of it’s own. short and sweet.]

Jessica sighs at the mound of snow outside the window, sipping at her hot cocoa and shaking her head lightly. “It just had to snow.” She mumbles in slight annoyance.

It wasn’t that she didn’t like winter, or the snow for that matter– it’s just that her girlfriend didn’t like it. Chloe was always complaining it was too cold and that she could never get warm. “I’ll never get her out of bed, now.” Jessica says with a roll of her eyes.

She pads into the kitchen and places her empty mug in the sink before heading up the stairs to their bedroom, where she finds a Chloe shaped lump of covers in the middle of their bed. Before she can even say anything, there’s a pitiful whine from beneath the covers. “It snowed.”

Jessica chuckles lightly as she comes to sit on the edge of the bed. “I know, I saw.”

“I’m not leaving this spot. It’s too cold.” Chloe says with finality.

“Hmm,” Jessica hums. “I thought you might say that.” She feigns a sigh, lips twitching with the urge to grin. “It’s too bad.” She pauses, lower lip getting caught between teeth.

Chloe is still for a moment before she finally pokes her head up from beneath the comforter, eyes narrowing slightly. “Why? What’s too bad?”

Jessica shrugs a little, arms loosely crossed as she tries not to chuckle at Chloe’s bedhead. “I thought maybe you’d want to go to Beth’s for some waffles and hot cocoa.” She says all too casually.

Beth’s was Chloe’s favorite little hole in the wall Diner they found one night after drinking heavily and Chloe had become obsessed with their waffles.

“And then we could come home, and I could make it worth your while.” Jessica winks with a little grin.

Chloe narrows her eyes, a small smirk creasing her lips. “Since when do you play dirty?”

“Since I can’t get my girlfriend out of bed.” Jessica replies flippantly.

The redhead’s smile slowly turns mischievous, and her eyes darken slightly. Jessica knows that look and she has no time to react before she’s squealing in slight surprise as Chloe suddenly pulls her down onto the bed and straddles her. “Or,”  Chloe starts, hands holding Jessica’s above her head. “You could just make it worth my while, now– keep me warm with a little… friction.”

Jessica knows she’s blushing, feels the heat rising to her cheeks and maybe somewhere more down south. “Oh?”

“Mmm,” Chloe hums, leaning down so that their noses barely brush together. “They say that being naked and– cuddling is a good way to keep warm.”

Jessica smirks. “Oh, so you don’t want to have sex, then?”

Chloe rolls her eyes. “Jess.”

“Hmm?”

“Shut up and kiss me.”

“Yeah, okay.” Jessica replies just as Chloe leans down and captures her lips in one of many slow, and heated kisses.
