TWST related Ramble Incoming; Spoilers to Book 07 mentioned as well. You have been warned!!

I just noticed this morning that Malleus has traits connected to the previous OB gang. And how it kinda culminates together in Book 07. Let me explain:

Riddle and Malleus have strained Realtionships with their families. Granted in Riddle’s case it's his mother and Malleus his grandmother, but with some slight differences. Where Riddle’s whole life was dictated by his mother, the Senate(aka bitchie old farts that need some purifying salt) controls Malleus and his life. And when I mean that, I meant how they ripped him away from Lilia as a baby cause of their narrow minded view of the former General.

Leona and Malleus are both royalty. While Leona is a second born Prince who will never be king, Malleus has no choice but to be crowned Ruler of Briar Valley once his Grannie retires. Sure Leona may find him stuck up and annoying, but what he doesn't know is the fact that just like him, Malleus is also dealing with subjects who revere him or fear him cause of his powers.

Azul and Malleus both crave something. Azul craves power and money as a coping mechanism(at the beginning at least) as revenge for those that bullied and mocked him as a child. Malleus craves companionship. And yes he has his family (his Grandmother, Lilia, Silver and Sebek), they all keep him at arm's length for different reasons beit his status or heartache of getting too close. Thus building up the loneliness in his heart.

Jamil and Malleus are envious of other people. Jamil is jealous of the freedoms Kalim has as a naïve heir and able to dance about in the light, and yet he-Jamil-has to stick to the shadows. Never allowed to be free to do what he wants lest he bring dishonor to his parents. Malleus, as stated before, is jealous of others and the fun things they get to do. He's hardly been invited to events from EVERYONE at NRC. Heck, not a single Noble invited him to any social gatherings during his Winter break! The only time he got one was from Yuu/MC in Book 05.

Vil and Malleus both share some sort vanity with one another. Vil works hard to be the fairest, most beautiful person in the world. Malleus is part of the Top 5 Strongest Mages in TW, and there are times he takes pride in using his magic to fix things or get carried away with doing something that throws others off like in Vargas Training Camp Ver. 02, with him altering the Cave and making it mazy and confusing to his the other campers.

Idia and Malleus value their family bonds but theyre alos the cursed ones of the group. Idia and his family are doomed to forver be the Gatekeepers of the Underworld due to the nature of their connection with Overblots and such. Malleus is cursed not just by his family name, but his own late mother, Melenor Draconia, blessed him with being a star of hope for the people of Briar Valley and an omen of evil to humans. This in turn has isolated him from his peers all throughout his time in NRC til we befriend him. And like I stated in Azul's part his family does love him, but his status makes it harder for him to convey his true feelings of love them.

Malleus is a tragic character with neat parallels to those that broke before him. A person who yearns for things that his peers are too naïve to understand. Let alone give him a chance to engage with them in ways they could better know each other. Which makes his eventual defeat in Book 07 whenever that happens all the more painful ;-;

OCs!! Well, I mostly use it to talk about my JTTW/LMK OC Zhaoyan (or just Zhao).

Zhao is a Celestial Witch who was brought along to the journey (against her will) as a healer for Tripitaka. Basically, she has the power to heal any wound, illness, disease etc. And general sorcery.

That guy has expanded where he lives to keep a completely hidden section for where he makes things he sends to mom. So now others can visit without him worrying since its no slouch compared to here or where I live. Yet there's clearly an area for where kids can go play thanks to Chibi visiting him often."

"And from there, she can stay over at his place. After all, you can watch over Noboru just fine or she can just take Noboru with her. There's no ulterior motives on our parts for watching over her son and Tsukuyomi practically Noboru's dad if she does take him with her. Hm, I'll go visit Celeste myself and suggest it. Not like she has any idea I'm aware of things."

So he quickly left to go do so.

"So question." Yami appears out of darkness. "Besides the fact I know Susanoo got hit by a beam of moonlight the second there was no risk of hitting your place. Why does it feel like you're out to test your brothers patience?"

"And yet, he's rarely home again, these days... Izanami's the last of our parents I've seen," the goddess mused, baffled...but understanding. Izanagi hasn't exactly been doing well to not end up on people's shit lists... Again. Suppose the family talents for troublemaking had to come from someone, and if it wasn't Izanami... It would be Izanagi.

However, that then prompts the next fair, yet equally tricky part to Susano'o's ramblings... Getting her to visit Tsukuyomi, then. Hearing that he's established a comfortable home for himself is all well and good. In fact, it's fantastic! He's been needing somewhere more permanent to roost...

But would such a thing be enough to pull Celeste from her home? If anything, this feels like they need to set up a cliched romance novel's plot: heavy rains out of nowhere, to ensure that she'd stay over and not simply scurry home with only a pounding heart...

"It's possible, but not easy," Amaterasu muttered, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. This really could be the time, but the master act they'd have to pull is- "W-Wait!! Susano'o, you're not really-?!?"

...By the kami, the madman ran off. Faint memories of Susano flit through her head; a brother never changes, truly.

By this point, Yami is a welcomed addition.

"Ah, Yami..." She blinked up at him a moment, before slowly sitting down again. "Well... I just wanted to join in the teasing. Scheming is all well and good, but for Susano'o to run off like that..." Ammy sighed, arms crossing as her head tilted in thought. Not quite able to stop the tilt of her head, though. Or the way her brain eventually processed what Yami said.

"Ah, Tsukuyomi stopped him?! For once, his timing is perfect... Celeste is most certainly not equipped to handle Susano'o at his most stubborn." Despite herself, she sighed in relief. "All of this before I can even get halfway through my dinner... The Celestial Plain is bustling to the edges once more."

Just a peek

When one thought of a diary, especially one owned by a shy girl like Steph, one would think of a discreetly hidden notebook, but that was the opposite of Stephanie’s diary. The pink fluffy book was just lying on her nightstand in plain sight, its bright colour and cute embroidered flowers pulling all eyes towards it. At first glance, one wouldn’t be able to tell its a diary, but the garishly girly book looked too interesting to just leave it be there.

The entire thing was very neat and aesthetically pleasing with precise hand-writing and cute little chibi drawings on some of the pages accompanied by little flower stickers. It was clear Stephanie spent a lot of time on all her entries, trying to frame even the saddest of weeks in a cute positive light. Every single entry was writen as if Stephanie was talking to the diary, treating it like a friend, starting off each entry by asking how the diary has been doing.

Flipping through the pages, one entry stood out, the very last one. The entire page was coloured in with pink in marker and adorned with a lot more stickers than usual, it was simply too irresistable to not read.

  how have you been since my last entry? Well, I hope! ^_^ I come once more to share my thoughts with you, since there’s no one at the base to listen to my silly little rambles :(  Hope you don’t mind!

It’s been awfully quiet, but that’s nothing new. You already know how much time the new recruits spend outside the base. They’re hard-working for sure! It’s admirable, it just leaves the entire building quiet and rather cold, and with my sisters always out on “ missions“, it leaves me with no one to chat with. I haven’t talked with or even seen Ember for a month now. I miss her... I wish she’d spend more time with me.  (╥﹏╥)

But that’s not what I wanted to talk about! I’m very excited for this month! You know why? IT’S THE MONTH OF LOOOOOVE~ <3 <3 <3 The best time of the year, if you ask me! I’ve already decorated everything I could with healing runes, secured an acceptable amount of chocolate, and prepared a reading list of all my favourite romantic novels -w-

 It’s not all old stories, though! I got a new exciting one to look forward to! The actual tale of how the demigoddess of healing ascended to the Celestial realm! I NEVER KNEW IT WAS A LOVE STORY! AAAAAAA I CAN’T WAIT TO GET INTO IT!  ❤（っ＾▿＾）

Maybe this time I could get someone to celebrate it with me! What’s the point of a celebration of love and friendship when there’s no one to enjoy it with? I’ve spent almost all of these by myself... Still... Even if I find someone, I can’t help but wish I could celebrate it with...well... a romantic partner >///w///<. I know I should lay off the romantic stories, but they’re just so sweet and beautiful! I wanna have something like that myself <3 <3 <3 -////-

It’s all silly fantasies, it would be selfish of me to bring someone into my world (not like someone would want a smurf elf girl anyway) but a girl can dream! I've stumbled onto many manwha with-FL or some other MC- and also thr Time Loop Theory for Twst and it got me thinking...

What If?

MC was in the time loop with the Cast of Twst who were genuinely apathetic towards them, and everytime the OverBlots happened, they died in them. And that trauma is a memory that they keep with them.

On top of that, they are trying to break it, but their hope dims for their future as they just want the others to live. They still push through succeeding in ending the vicious cycle...

Completely oblivious to the fact that the NRC 22 and Crowley are well aware of the events as well, and are as desperate for MC to live as well

Hello Everyone! Mini Announcement No. 2 Here!

As some of you may know, I've mostly been actuve posting my Fic Twisted Tonelico on Ao3 and Wattpad more than here. And I do apologize for stopping in the middle of the Heartslabyul Arc. I was worried that the interface here combine with my irl getting the way of making a better format for you all was gonna sour the experience. Again, I'm sorry for that.

That said, there is something I wanted to address here, that I will soon tell the Ao3 crowd too.

When Book 03 ends, that marks the end of Arc 1. Arc 2 for Twisted Tonelico is gonna help introduce a new set up that is mentioned within the story:

Song Mages existing within the Main Cast as of Book 4 thru 06!

Now, what I have workshopping right is just the surface of this Arc. I just wanna know your input on whether to execute it or not, as I really wanna reveal certain cast members of being Reyvateil(Song Mage presenting) with Meryu.

However, I want to hear your tthoughts via a poll for who from Book 4, 5 and 6 specifically of being Reyvateil. I have two people in mind from the workshop phase for 5 and 6, but I'm willing to alter in case someone else works better than those two. Book 4 is the trickiest as both people there have plenty of potential, but I'm torn with who to choose.

You've got a good bit of explanation for your fic Twisted Tonelico for a reader who knows Twisted Wonderland but not Ar tonelico – I'm in the reverse situation, any chance of context on the Twisted side of things?

Sure!

Ooof! I didn't think of that for non Ar Tonelico fans. 😓🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I'll try my best to explain that for Twisted fans who wanna know more about the world of AT!

As for Twisted Wonderland, you- the player character- were spirited away to said world and woke up into the Famous Night Raven College. A school dedicated to famous Disney Villains. Among these Villains are:

The Queen of Hearts of Alice in Wonderland

Scar of the Lion King

Ursula of The Little Mermaid

Jafar of Aladdin

The Evil Queen/ Grimhelde of Snow White

Hades of Hercules

And Finally, Maleficent of Sleeping Beauty

During their time at NRC, the player encounters seven students who embody the spirits of these Villians and confronts them when they act like said counterpart. Eventually leading to an epidemic called Overblots. These are a berserker mode for mages, which can lead to them possibly dying from these.(Imagine the IPD outbreaks from AT 2 and Medleys of AT 3. They are sort like that). And the player has to do that all while dealing with a crappy headmage who's procrastinating on sending them home and having visions of the Disney Villians on top of juggling school academia.

I hope that helps with a bit of understanding what Twisted Wonderland is all about. The cast are fun, creative spins on well known Disney adapted heroes, villains, and secondary characters associated with them. There is an English Translation of the game, but I'm also going to link two playlists here and here for fan translations that are a bit more accurate to the JP Dub.

Ok so last night, I told y'all about the other brain worm which was the Shugo Chara x Twisted Wonderland in my brain!

Well the train is still running for this idea!

So picture this:

The NRC 22 have Would Be selves, but a few of them haven't awoken to them. Or for some them, they did, but they broke when they were younger(tho they are reborn thanks to a certain someone heals them and they return to the boys that lost them).

Amu(with her four trusty would be selves) get yeeted to NRC. Typical story shenanigans but with a bit of angst. The concept of the would be selves technically are not a thing in Twisted Wonderland, but I wanted them to be a fun lil thing thay happens after the boys heal/ encounter Amu.

I have a bunch of sketches for many of the ideal Would Be selves for some of the guys.

Tho I might thinking of redesigning some of them. Below are Azul and Leona's Would Be Selves: Caspian and Kion!

I still need to iron out whether to make it a one-shot or just a Creative What If post like the last ;-;

But I'm happy to get some of the idea out! I'm not dropping Twisted Tonelico anytime soon so don't worry! This was another idea i want to share! :)

Mini Edit: I almost forgot!!!! I do know some of the roles for the boys to play more on the Shugo Chara side of things!

Riddle would kinda be like Tadase in terms of having a better amicable relationship to Amu. Still his Rose Tyrant self, but suffers the puppy love crushes of youth XD

For the "Ikuto" role, I was torn between Leona and Malleus cause they both sort of fit it(Leona with the feline thing cause he's a beastmen and Malleus because dude literally likes his anonymity). I'm leaning more on dragon boy but that *might* be subject to change.

Utau is either gonna be an OC role or Sebek. Boy's high praises of his Prince are almost as bad as hers XD

Everyone else is up there as normal as they are in canon atm.

Do you prefer me translating some of my Hymmnos in the Twisted Tonelico story, or would you prefer I leave you in the dark, and translate them later?

I'm worried the end note translations throw off y'all groove to read, and I wanted to know what you guys think I should do.

Since GloMas is making a comeback this month, I've been thinking of making a semi, non-canon Twst Tone. Story for the event.

Feels a bit too early, but I wanted to do one to celebrate it since it's one of my personal favorite events!

Currently, it's a WIP. And I don't know how long it'll be, but I do hope to see it through while working on the Main series!!!

Little sis and I went to Baltimore Comic Con this year!(Sucks they moved it from Pct. To Sept as we missed out on last year's T-T)
