Crashcraft's vintage sets in Cluedo colors
✿ This is for the sims 2 ✿
Here are recolors I made of various Cashcraft sets for use in Éclaire. I recolored only the objects I thought I'd like to use in my game, so not all of the sets are present in full.
Please also note that I wrote cluedo colors, and not woods. No way in hell I was going to handpaint all that to change the wood grain, sorry.
What's included?
✿ 6 objects from the Magnolia Hill Dining set (buffet, china cabinet, curio, hutch, mirror and sideboard);
✿ 6 objects from the Regency set (tea set, dining chair, cabinet, sideboard, china cabinet and armchair);
✿ 30 objects from the Vanity Fair sets (armchair, canopy, cash register (req. OFB), chaise, coffee table, curtain, desk chair, end table, footstool, handbag, hat, 3 lamps, mirror, parlor chair, perfume tray, round table, sewing basket, sewing clutter, cutting board, desk, screen, sewing shelf, worktable, sofa, tall cabinet and vanity);
✿ 7 objects from the Victorian set (chafing dish, chair, painting, sideboards, hutch and table);
✿ 5 objects from the Vintage Charm set (alarm clock, bed, books and 2 lamps).
DOWNLOAD (SFS)
Meshes, swatches and previews included, files compressed and clearly named.
✿ I renamed the meshes to remove any special characters, so check your download folder for duplicates manually if you already have Cashcraft's sets in your game.
Credits: Cashcraft, @cluedosims.

Edward Philippe Mott / fem reader, you’ve resist his ‘charm’ and ignored his letters for far too long, imagine, wc 1354
You sat in the carriage, your hands grasping around your feather, swaying it in front of you as the heat of South Carolina got to you slowly but surely. You had received several letters, so many that your parents had no choice but to send you to him—Lord Edward Philippe Mott. He was a well-to-do man, in other words, wealthy beyond measure. When he moved to the middle of nowhere, he kept in touch with his only friend, you.
Many people admired Edward, men and women alike, and he was sought after. Your parents ensured you stayed connected, hoping you would wed him and provide an heir. But you wanted nothing to do with Edward in that way…. he was your childhood friend, and his erratic behavior was worrisome. The letters he wrote piled up in your drawer, leaving no room for you to even answer back, the ink in his feather lessening more and more.
As the carriage bumped along the dusty road, you loosened your corset, trying to comfort yourself from the heat. Your gown, a fine muslin dress in the latest style with short sleeves and a high waist, clung uncomfortably to your skin. You longed for the cooler mornings of home, where you could enjoy a leisurely breakfast of cornmeal mush and honey or sip on a cup of hot tea.
Arriving at Edward’s estate, you were struck by its grandeur. The house was large, built in the vintage style with tall windows and a wide veranda. Servants bustled about, and you were ushered into a parlor where a spread of refreshments awaited. There were platters of ham, sweet potato pudding, and freshly churned butter. The table was set with delicate china cups for the sweet tea.
Edward sat there, wearing an expression you had only seen before on people right before they faint. “Madam,” he whispered, his voice filled with longing and shock. He looked around the room at the maids, shooing them away immediately, his voice booming through the room.
“Leave us,” he commanded. The maids scurried out, their skirts rustling and heads bowed, leaving you alone with Edward. His eyes, usually so full of mischief, were now wide and haunted.“You’ve gotten my letters? The ink for my quill?” he asked, standing up and moving towards you, leaving only an inch between you two.
“Ah, Lord Mott—” He leaned down, eyes focusing on you as he fixed his waistcoat.
“Skip the formalities, my treasure.”
You felt a lump start to form in your throat. You had forgotten why you were here—you had to confront him about the words he wrote and the way he spoke of you. “Edward, you mustn’t send me any more letters,” you said slowly, watching his reaction.
“I will do what I please,” he snapped, though his tone remained soft as he took in your appearance. “You will stay here for a fortnight.”
“Edward, please understand,” you implored, your voice trembling. “Your words… They cause me great distress. I cherish our friendship, but your letters… they speak of things I cannot repeat.” You had only read one letter, one out of the thousands he sent—he could tell because he had spoken so loosely with his quill that he didn’t expect you to show up.
“Do you not wish to stay here with me? Am I not worthy of your affections?” His voice trembled slightly, Edward was used to getting what he wanted, and when he wanted it.
He was more than worthy to you; he was everything you had ever wanted. But it was improper. A lady such as yourself was not part of the ton—you were middle class, with no lords in your family. Yet Edward treated you as though you were like him.
“Edward, you are more than worthy,” you said softly, your voice catching. “But our worlds are different. I am not of noble birth, and to stay here with you would invite scandal.” He stepped closer, his expression earnest. “This isn’t your home, this is mine, and it is only us here. I don’t care for the ton; I don’t care about any of that, for it shall not exist if I am here with you. So stay here, please. I do not beg; I am not used to begging, but I am begging you,” he croaked, his rich dark brown eyes staring into yours intently, the same eyes that made you gasp for air.
Your resolve wavered as you looked into his eyes, feeling the depth of his emotions. “Edward, it is not that simple. My staying here could ruin your reputation, your future.”
He shook his head fiercely. “What is a future without you in it? I would rather face scandal and disgrace than live without you. You are my heart, my soul, my everything.” Tears threatened to spill from your eyes as you felt the intensity of his words. “Edward, I... may I be excused?”
“Yes, you may…” You practically bolted to the guest room at this, your hands shutting the mahogany door quickly, covering your eyes. You stayed in the room until night, carefully lighting your candles. There was something so serene about your situation—he wanted you desperately, so deeply, and you wanted him. But at what cost? What if you failed to provide an heir? What if his family frowned upon you? They liked you as his friend, but as his wife? What would people make of it?
You let your hair down, the tight curls cascading down your neck as you stared into the mirror. As you undid your corset, you heard a small knock. You looked back at the door, seeing a paper being slid underneath it. The ink was bright red, and the page only held one sentence. You slowly walked toward the paper, holding it up, your eyes reading it carefully. “When I saw you, I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew,” you read aloud, your eyes widening in disbelief at the boldness of the words.
Edward waited patiently outside the door, his curly mousy brown hair was out now devoid of that awful wig. He had changed out of his formal wear into a simple white shirt and breeches, the fabric soft against his skin. The sight of him in relaxed attire brought an unexpected warmth to your heart. He longed to burst through the door and see your reaction, but before he could gather the courage, you opened it, letting him in and shutting it firmly behind you.
“What am I to make of this?” you asked, holding the note aloft, the bright red ink glimmering in the candlelight.“Make of it that I love you,” he said simply, his eyes wandering over your figure. The sight of a lady with her hair down, the soft fabric of your nightgown flowing around you, made him feel more starved than ever before.
The dim candlelight accentuated the delicate curves of your body, he stared you down. His heart raced as he took in the moment, caught between desire and the weight of telling you how he feels.
“Make of it… that you love me?” you repeated, disbelief lacing your voice.
He nodded, moving closer, invading your space until his chest was nearly pressed against yours. “Make of it that I do. Make of it that you love me too,” he said softly.“Sans toi, je ne suis rien,” he added, his voice a tender whisper. “Tu es la lumière de ma vie.”
You felt warmth spread through you, not fully understanding his French words, but sensing the depth of his affection. The passion in his tone made your heart race. “I love you,” you said, a smile breaking across your face. The candlelight made him look almost angelic, illuminating his features in a soft glow. “Je t’aime plus que les mots ne peuvent le dire,” he breathed, finally wrapping his arms around you in a warm embrace. You melted into him, feeling safe and cherished as he wished you to be.

How to be Coquette in Spring 🐣🌸
How to be the girliest, coquette forest fairy, in bloom for the Spring season 🍃🧚‍♀️💌
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wake up early every Spring morning. Everything is in bloom! Read a light hearted book in bed. Open your window to smell the fresh air and flowers if your lucky like me and live in the countryside! If your in a city, go for a walk! Have a shower, do your skincare and make a healthy, Spring breakfast. Maybe some fruit with all the fresh colors now the weather is warming up? 🍓🍉
Wear floral print everything! (Especially in Springtime) 🌷 Pick an airy, fairy light outfit. But make sure it’s still warm incase it gets chilly and there are any April showers 🌧 Some Coquette Spring clothing essentials are (milkmaid tops, Mary Janes, floral dresses, pretty skirts, cardigans, flower crowns, satchels, light-knit sweaters, crochet items 🎀)
School or work can be boring. But Spring makes everything better 💐 Walk to school/work if you can and listen to Lana. Make your notes look pretty with some pretty flower doodles, leaf drawings or add flower pressing to your school books/journals. Wear flowers in your hair to school, make daisy chains at break/lunch. Bring in some Spring treats for your friends to enjoy. Maybe buy a new floral backpack and add some pretty flower charms to it, also invest in some pastel highlighters/stationary for Spring. Put some Spring stickers on your headphones/water bottle🌼
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Go on a picnic. This is literally the perfect time of year to as the weather is getting warmer. Take a pink, gingham picnic blanket with you and go and have fun! Take some pictures for Instagram and you could even decorate a pretty cake to bring with you 🎂
Do some Spring baking. Heart shaped cookies, cupcakes, pastel rice crispie nests, jam envelope’s, cherry pie, the list is endless. You could also bring these sweet treats on your picnic! 🍰💌
Have a tea party. By yourself or with friends. You could go vintage shopping for some beautiful china teacups/tea sets. Bake scones, but biscuits and pretty sweets like marshmallows, party rings, bon-bons and macaroons. Buy a selection of Tea’s and dress up elegantly. Decorate your table with a pink tablecloth and add pretty decorations all around. Wear silk, lacy gloves too, so you look like a Spring princess sipping her tea 🍵🎀
Do some flower pressing 🌸
Buy anything that is “ditsy floral” print and anything that is Bunny themed 🐰
Have a yellow, pink, cream, beige and baby blue wardrobe all throughout this time of year 💝
Go on long Spring walks. Even if you live in a city. You can take pretty photos and see wildlife as you walk ⛅️
Wear flowers or bows in your hair everyday to really emulate Spring through your outfits. Wether they be casual or classy at all times 🪷
Have a new Spring scent. There are so many floral scented perfumes, and you could correlate one for this season. Then whenever you smell that scent again, you will be reminded of Spring 🌷
Buy a pink raincoat and umbrella to splash in April shower puddles. Take some cute photos with them for Instagram and put a “rainy day” quote as the caption💦💗
Don’t forget to indulge in sweet treats. Especially because it has been Easter. Now winter comfort food is out the way, Spring is a very sweet and refreshing time of year. Treat yourself and venture out of your comfort zone with some yummy looking new pastries or sweets from another country. (I love Japan’s sweets soooo much!) 🍡
Make a new “Coquette Spring playlist” or just add mine to your library 😋 ⬇️🌸
Read light hearted novels or fantasy children’s hooks, outside on sunny days. 📖
Have a “Coquette Spring” movie marathon. Cinderella (2015), Marie Antionette, Tangled, Pride & Prejudice and A room with a view are all beautiful and visually aesthetically pleasing movies to watch this time of year 🌸
And that’s it! I hope you have the most beautiful Spring ever and have fun frolicking around in fresh, sweet meadows, in pretty silk dresses from morning till noon 🌷🐰

Hello! The level of detail in your metas is awesome. I was wondering if you have come across the name of the china pattern of Aziraphale’s blue & white teacup. I collect China & am familiar with many patterns & how to find them, but I have found nothing that identifies this pattern. Any chance you know it or know who to ask to find it?
Thanks and keep up the excellent analysis work please!
Ramblin’nan
Hello! Thanks for the kind words.
Tumblr media
I had a closer look at the pattern, but found it difficult to see in detail. At the moment I don't think it has any specific meaning itself, but rather that he has a vintage blue and white set - which, as a collector, I'm sure you know is a common but popular colour combination - and that in itself reflects his angelic nature and his love of old things.
I put my limited Antique Roadshow hat on for bit, and it doesn't look like it comes from the far East at all, as it is quite a delicate pattern, so I get the feeling it was made either in Britain or western Europe somewhere, so its probably just some foliage and or flowers. But now you've got me to look at it, you never know where this might appear! Stranger things have happened, so if anything else comes my way, I'll update this and let you know.
Edit: I've done a reblog answer on the original ops blog where they post a better image of the teacup - I believe its a clematis, and there are wings with halos around the rim.
The real significance of tea scene itself is about the sharing of a ritual, as there have always been rituals around tea. Whether it be a formal East Asian tea ceremony, where one is meditating on life and its imperfections, or more modern traditions where the pot is warmed first, how many scoops of tea leaves are counted, if the pot is turned before pouring, how long the pot is left to steep and the act of pouring itself - well, the variations are almost endless. But they are rituals for the participants, and horror if you don't abide by them! They are what bind us together socially, and give us succour in times of need. When someone is distressed, or have been crying, you never offer them coffee, its always a soothing cup of fresh tea.
Aziraphale is shocked to find Muriel at the door of the bookshop, because he recognizes them (but they don't) and immediately sees something is not right. Muriel has to wait to be invited inside the Garden, the first step of the tea ceremony. Aziraphale then makes the tea and offers it politely with cups on saucers (not poured at the table) to his past acquaintance, and we see he is clearly pained and troubled by the state he finds Muriel in, and tries to guide them gently along -
Tumblr media
when Crowley suddenly bursts in with his plants (he's bought his part of the Garden inside, thanks, Crowley!) and then he gleefully interrupts the quiet peace on discovering Muriel there, like a cat discovering a mouse to play with. While the ritual ends prematurely, Aziraphale has at least tried to do his best with a fellow angel that had clearly been...damaged. And to be honest, Muriel is too distracted by everything around them to appreciate what Aziraphale is trying to do. Tea gardens are not supposed to offer distractions.
Oh dear. That didn't go to well. Lets hope Aziraphale and Muriel can finish that cup of tea together another day.

January OTP Prompts
Fun fact: writing dialogue is my least favorite part of writing so I decided I wasn't going to include any in todays prompt fill. Thank you for following along on this journey with me! Enjoy!
25. Café on a snowy day
George shivered, pulling his jacket closer to his body as he fought his way through the crowded street. Snow was falling, sticking to his eyelashes and blurring his vision as he approached the cafe. New York City in January wasn’t necessarily George’s idea of a good time, but who was he to deny Matty the opportunity to write with Jack. Coincidentally Amber had been in New York at the same time, and George was more than happy to sneak out for a few hours that morning and catch up with his friend while Matty sequestered himself in the studio with Jack. He loved watching Matty work, and he enjoyed working with Jack for the most part, but he also knew himself well enough to know when he needed to take a step back and a break.
He had just returned to the hotel, ladened with shopping bags after an impromptu visit to a vintage thrift shop that Amber had discovered on a previous trip, when Matty had texted him, asking if he wanted to join him for tea at a cafe midway between the hotel and the studio. George had sighed. He didn’t really want to go back into the cold, especially now that he had reentered the warmth of their room, but his desire to see Matty won out and George once again found himself dressing for the winter weather.
It hadn’t been snowing when he made his way through the hotel lobby, and on a normal day, it wouldn’t have been a bad walk. But the wind stung his cheeks and made his eyes water. Luckily the cafe was just up ahead, he could see the sign glowing bright against the gray sky backdrop. He pushed open the door, a little bell chiming as he entered. He spotted Matty right away, tucked into the far corner, scribbling in his notebook, a cup of tea, in a real China tea cup with a matching saucer by his elbow. George paused, before getting in line to order himself, admitting Matty from afar. He was growing out his hair again, the dark, gray streaked curls covering his ears and falling over his forehead, casting his eyes in shadow the way he was bent over the notebook. George smiled to himself, admiring the curve of Matty’s jaw and the way his tongue was peeking out between his slick red lips in concentration.
Matty looked up as if sensing he was being watched. He set his pen down, breaking into a wide grin when he realized it was George watching him. George’s heart swelled as he returned Matty’s little wave. He loved the way he smiled, his entire face lighting up, showing off his crooked teeth and the crinkles by his eyes. He knew Matty got upset sometimes, looking at the evidence of aging in the mirror. Glaring at his wrinkles and gray hairs, but George loved them. He loved the evidence that Matty wore on his body, the signs that he was here, alive and that they had the opportunity to grow old together.

Note
On a day like any other, a hand-written note appears with Hibiko’s tray of tea. Sealed with a golden drop of wax, it was delicately balanced against the teapot. Perhaps it was old-fashioned of him, but Raum had the inkling that the princess might appreciate such a flair, as he did himself. Once opened, it was written in his own slightly dramatic cursive:
Dear Princess Hibiko,
Since you seemed so eager for me to make use of you, last we met. . . This is a formal request for your company.
Weiss Communications will soon be hosting a charity auction: art pieces, vintage clothing, instruments, antiques, unique experiences… and so on. It would be my pleasure to host an item or two that you can spare to donate — and that you are to personally introduce as a former part of your collection.
Worry not, there will be plenty of entertainment during the evening, and I will accompany you throughout. I will see to it you are not hounded, as usual ;^)
No doubt this would be a mutually beneficial arrangement. Everyone loves to see a benevolent princess, don’t they?
The details of the event are below. I look forward to your response.
— R.
Tumblr media
Precious curiosity hardly allowed time to properly admire the details of the note's exterior, immediately interested more in its contents (and ignoring the tea completely).
It pulled a mix of emotions from Hibiko, a smile that even by herself, she was embarrassed to express. The ever-rare decision to go over the king and queen's heads, offering the invite directly to the princess instead of them was nothing but daring. And yet, it felt so casual, like inviting a friend for lunch.
Hibiko held the letter close as her mind wandered in different directions, most notably unsure how extravagant or modest an item might be expected from her. Once an idea was settled on, little time was wasted fetching a pen and a crisp sheet of paper, happy to show off her penmanship.
Tumblr media
Raum Weiss,
What a pleasant surprise to see a letter from you. Although I might think a man of such caliber would have a better choice of words with a woman of my status. "To make use of you." You embarrass me, were someone to read this! Luckily for both of us, I received your invite still sealed. Since favor is on your side, and with the promise of plenty of entertainment, I accept and am honored to come as your guest. In these boxes, you'll find the necklace I wore to the King and Queen's 15th wedding anniversary, and a fine bone china, three-piece tea set. I'll have letters of authenticity with all the necessary details drafted up for you come morning. I look forward to seeing how a Weiss Communications event may differ from a Suburashi's. However, I must ask of you a small request before I can full-heartedly agree to be your guest. Please notify me of what you'll be wearing to the auction once you've decided on an outfit. I'd never forgive you if we were clashing.
I'll see you then, Princess Hibiko Subarashi

Satin and touch 🦋
satin: which character trait do you love/admire in others?
i always love others with soft hearts. as jane austen once said, “there is no charm equal to tenderness of heart” ♡
touch: share something you love about life
my darling bunnies, whom i refer to as ‘my flowers’.. so in other words, flowers. their names are daisy, after the flower of innocence, and honey, after the flower of sweetness in the victorian language of flowers. in life, i cherish dreams as if they were reality... i am always dreaming of strolling through an endless meadow of gardenia peonies donning a gown of pale delicacy. i also love literature and music, specifically the artistry of classic, romantic, and gothic literature and singers such as lana del rey and hope sandoval. their songs feel like hymns of the sea, so ethereally sung. i will never sing quite so beautifully, but shall await the day i come close, for singing is a great passion of mine. not to mention, my adoration for collecting vintage items, especially bridal gowns, veils, and gloves, as well as nightgowns and peignoirs, books, porcelain or china tea sets, and dried flowers is ever growing. all of these things breathe softness into the winds of my life's garden, and i collect their petals lovingly, praying to them in times of sadness, "if only i could look to the lilies for light and the roses for beauty. to wrap myself in the silk of their kiss, the velvet moonlight of such divinity. then, perhaps, my soul would shine like the fallen stars that have turned to the dew which rests upon flowers; an eternal slumber seldom without the exquisite dreaminess of a garden flourishing from tears."
