i made the mistake of looking at pinterest and now i’m just :’ )) thinking about chiyo and how yeah!! she would buy flowers for someone and tuck the prettiest one in their hair. she’d make their favorite food after a hard day and run her fingers through their hair until they fall asleep. she’d be late to a meeting if they needed her to be — even over something silly like staying in bed an extra few minutes — and she’d leave early just to join them for dinner. i dunno if this all really counts as doting? but i think chiyo does really love to dote on others. she loves getting to make them smile and she isn’t so much a pushover for her loved ones as she is just happily smitten :’ ) when she cares, she cares deeply and shows it very obviously through touch and action most often. and it’s very cute to me :’ ))))

and uhh i couldn't chose a favorite, so you get the whole main friend group (and some info about them below the image bc i couldn't fit it on the image itself h-)

don't ask why i did like. murder-chan-esque coloring also, idk i just felt like it (also most of them don't fit anyways bc thay have multiple colors, but tbh they would all fit in that universe kjcbnvkc)

Taiyomi Mikibi:

- Thinks she's the protagonist. She isn't.

- Vampire

- The only reason this friend group exists

- Very silly and goofy

Hinako Mikibi:

- The older Mikibi twin

- Sports girl, currently on the track team

- Chill but kinda cringefail when it comes to dating

- Really needs a child leash for Taiyomi

Tomoe Mabayui:

- The nice and big boobed pretty third year

- Wants a boyfriend. SO bad

- Has resorted to demonic rituals to try and get one

- "I found this blood sacrifice on wikihow that will get me a boyfriend for sure! ^^"

Nōto Aibān:

- The kinda weird one (who's actually the most normal out of the group, unsurprisingly)

- Kinda awkward but tries her best

- Constantly fidgeting with sticky notes

- She's honestly a little scared of everyone in the group except for Hinako

Chiyoko Meiwaku:

- No one actually knows why she's here, she just kinda. Showed up one day and Taiyomi decided to roll with it

- Has failed her 3rd year multiple times, she's like 21 now

- Alcoholic

- Allegedly lives in a dumpster behind the school

Miumeko Asaiume:

- The transfer student

- President of the Detective club. Has only one other club member (who is only there because she dragged him into it)

- The type of girl to chase down a thief if they steal a purse while she's present

clutches my heart and weeps!! as i realize that while being around other spider-folk like her is a relief bc they understand the stuff she's dealing with, it also supports the idea that chiyo is absolutely replaceable and that people could drop her if she becomes as difficult to handle as she imagines she is. it just makes her more determined to push down aaaaall the stuff she considers " ugly " and deal with her traumas and uncertainties on her own. and there are people who can probably see it happening bc despite the fact that chiyo is skilled at playing pretend, these people have done the same kinda stuff and recognize the signs. in this essay i will--

chiyo refuses to cry or get angry or really show any kind of negative emotion in front of most people bc she thinks those are sides of her that are ugly; those feelings only make others uncomfortable, push them away or cause them to judge her, so she just won’t share them. instead, chiyo keeps up a lighthearted and easygoing demeanor. she’s really polite and amiable so as to avoid friction where it isn’t desired. she really only starts to show her stubbornness and temper in particular situations or around someone close to her.

but this is as an older teen and adult. younger chiyo didn’t have her façade perfected yet. younger chiyo couldn’t hold her tongue or repress her dad jokes. younger chiyo’s feelings were on display for the world to see, and her heart bled too much for it.

i want so badly to say chiyo needs words of affirmation, but it really won’t sink in if you only use words. chiyo is the kind of person who needs you to show, not tell. when she’s breaking down, don’t just say you don’t mind. stay beside her and rub her back, distract her -- anything so long as you just stay. if she gets angry, says something she doesn’t mean and comes back to apologize, don’t just say it’s okay but tease her for taking so long, ask if she wants to hang out -- go on to show that one mistake won’t ruin a whole friendship. 

despite how perfectly okay and confident she may come off, chiyo is pretty insecure about her place in people’s lives, so just!! prove her wrong every chance you get pls ;;;n;;;

Magical girl who gets her hair from her father.

Like, she has blatant protagonist hair anyway, but people assume because of the length and the volume that she got it from her mother.

Wrong.

Her mother has short pink hair that barely grows beyond a pixie if she tried.

Her father, on the other hand, has calves sharper than rock, a build to match, and the biggest, most luscious mane of red locks this side of the galaxy. It puts drag queens to shame.

He doesn't just give his daughter her hair, he gives her her magical girl form hair.

This is my Precure oc Chiyoko (Cure Signet, princess Chiyoko of the Heart Kingdom) btw. She has mostly red hair in civilian form, which becomes red with gold highlights in her transformation. (See extremely rough depiction below). But she absolutely gets it from her dad. (Chiyoko's parents are the royal family of the Heart Kingdom. Her mother is queen, and dad's just the consort.)

Her dad's hair's so big and noteworthy that the guards all have red plumes on their helmets. His helmet just has a space, and when he puts it on his hair magically gets gathered to become the plume itself.

Chiyoko has a picture of her trying on the same helmet as a kid, and getting a similar, if not quite so impressive effect. She's still wearing the biggest bucktoothed grin though.

I DO!!!! halloween/spooky figs are actually some of my fav to collect so i've been working on expanding those themes in collection!

first of all the bishoujo horror line is one of my fav things ever since it combines my biggest love (horror) and my second biggest love (being a lesbian) and my third biggest love (anime figures). so far i own beetlejuice and michael and ash and edward and have pennywise on preorder but i'm hoping to own all of them in the future!

some other spooky (pre)orders i'm super excited for are this oc and this cacao and this junji ito fig and this yoshiko!

How my Evolnation OCs think of Masaki Midorimiya

As you enter the Botany Club, you see the person you were looking for which is "Deyece Dew", because you're here to interview him about the Idol Masaki Midorimiya. You walk up to him to introduce yourself, he turns to face you and listens along with what you need to say.

"So you want to know what I think about Masaki Midorimiya? This is kinda bad timing cause I'm currently in the middle of making new poison for the Botany Club.. But it's alright, I'll answer." Deyece starts to think, tapping his foot on the floor. He hums and finally gets his answer, "He's a talented young idol, extremely passionate in what he does as you can see from his dancing, which is really cool in my opinion. Through his dances, you can see his emotions, true emotions, he can convey them well through a dance rather than words. As I've heard that he can be blunt." He faces away from you as he takes out the poison vial and places it on the table.

"I appreciate how blunt he is, he isn't the one to use white lies and tell the people the truth, but probably the truth comes off a little too harsh, but I respect that. I also heard he accidentally roasted someone, and I think that would be the harsh part of how blunt he is." Deyece explains as his hands are opening the vial and placing it on a little plate for experimenting and making a new solution. "Though I have never talked to him, I have seen him multiple times during Idol competitions and seeing how he interacts with his peers." He further his explains his answer.

"Like as I said he's a good kid just trying to go through HSA as an Idol. By no means being blunt and a little naive is bad, but I heard he gets misinterpreted a lot." He continues on with sigh, "As a producer, I worry about Idols who get misinterpreted as something they aren't, it can really mess up an Idol's reputation. An Idol without fans is like a Leader with no Followers. Your fans make you the idol, and that's why I'm worried about his career if Peko's fans continue to misinterpret his personality."

"That's all? Alright thank you for coming to interview me." Before he continues on his experiment, you ask him another question. "You wanna know where the Chiyoko Celeb is? Hm.." He hums as he thinks. "He is either in the big tree big tree sleeping- Yes I meant inside the tree.. Or he's in the Practice room that was assigned to us." He informs you.

As you leave he waves you goodbye and goes back to making a new poison.

As you look for Chiyoko, you go check the big tree and there he was, up on the big tree taking a nap, you call out to him until you finally woke him up and got his attention.

"Hm..? Oh! Hello there! I didn't think someone who isn't Dewwy could find me. Did he tell you where I was?" As you nod, he giggles as he sees you under the tree. You yell to him about how you wanted to interview him, "You want to interview me? Of course! Wait- Let me come down, it'll only take a second." He slowly starts to float down to the ground, finally making his feet touch solid ground.

"Chiyoko Celeb at your service, what can I do for you?" He smiles at you softly as he tilts his head. "Oh! You want to know what I think of Masaki Midorimiya? Sure!" He speaks enthusiastically, as he's never been interviewed and is ready to give his honest answers.

"I think he's a talented kid, there was this one time I was walking to my practice and I saw him dance. I think he really shows a lot of emotion when dancing, you can definitely see how passionate he is." He say, showing how he really admires Masaki for his talent.

"But I have never interacted with him, so I can't really form strong opinions. But I'll never understand why some people dislike him, I think... It was the reason for being blunt?" He thinks, unsure if the reason he's disliked was for being blunt. He thinks a little more until he snaps his finger, "Oh right! Yeah he's generally disliked by Dorm Leader's fans because of how 'Cold and Blunt' he is." Before he continues, he catches his breath.

"But I don't think it's that bad. I just hope that maybe people will come to like him more, what makes an idol is their fans, if people will continue to dislike him for the wrong reasons, he'll lose his purpose of being an idol.. Which is to Entertain" He says to you with a slight frown on his face.

"Will that be all? Alright! I'm glad you came to me for an interview. Oh and before you leave..." He turns back towards the tree and flies up, clearly looking for something. "Alright I found it!" You hear him say up the tree, he comes down and brings you a flower crown. "This is for you! I'll me to put it on you- Oh wait you have a leaf on your hair." He plucks it out before he places it on your head. He smiles seeing you wear the flower crown he made. "Alright bye bye! It was fun meeting you!"

He waves you goodbye as you take your formal leave. You finally have the answers of Deyece Dew and Chiyoko Celeb. You leave satisfied.

have some general chiyo headcanons while i queue things <3

when going on vacation, chiyo prefers going to areas with history. vacations are for relaxing, and learning new things about this and that is very much relaxing to chiyo bc she's a lil nerd <3

chiyo will 100% come home and info dump whatever she learned, btw. she'll have pictures and even lil notes to accompany them!

tbh, if there's ever a topic you wanna know more about but don't have the energy to do the research yourself, you can probably just ask chiyo to do it for you :' ) she loves to go down rabbit holes and then present said rabbit hole to a willing party

i might've mentioned this before? but prior to becoming a mangaka, chiyo would self-publish lil oneshots online, sell fanart, take commissions, attend conventions as an artist, etc. she finished up her schooling with a two-year degree in general studies, and worked a few different jobs until a company finally picked her up. the work that got serialized was a oneshot originally -- like most manga!

chiyo really enjoys horror movies, but will she scream her head off? yes ofc! but don't trust her if she asks you to watch a horror movie she's already seen bc there's a 100% chance that she's gonna try to startle you during a really tense moment

chiyo's room is definitely the epitome of " controlled chaos. " or... maybe it's just a mess asdf but she always knows where everything is! you'll ask her to dig out a particular book or piece of art and she'll confidently grab it from the middle of a pile or stack. thankfully her floor is mainly clear with the exception of a space right beside her bed -- that's where she keeps a small stack of manga and novels that she'll read before bed. what can she say? she likes to have options uvu
