I do think its interesting that SU took a rehabilitation route over incarceration / death / etc but I do understand why that falls a bit flat considering the way minor villains (such as the rubies!) are quickly disregarded and aren’t given the same chance as the story’s “true villains,” especially when the diamond’s crimes are um... A Lot in comparison </3 I really think it would’ve worked better to make the diamonds more... cartoonish in a sense if they planned to redeem them in addition to tending to the smaller villains first <3

Goody-Two Shoes
11th Doctor x Gender Neutral Reader
Tumblr media
The TARDIS hums softly as it materializes on an alien planet. You step out, the 11th Doctor at your side, his signature bowtie slightly askew.
"Alright, now listen carefully," the Doctor begins, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of excitement and concern. "We're here to retrieve the Chrono Crystal. It's in the catacombs beneath that ancient temple over there. Follow my lead, stay close, and, most importantly, don't touch anything."
You nod, eager to prove yourself as a valuable companion. Amy and Rory exchange glances, their expressions a mix of curiosity and skepticism. The Doctor takes the lead, and you follow his instructions to the letter.
As you traverse the dimly lit catacombs, Amy shoots you a sideways glance. "You're quite the goody two-shoes, aren't you? Always following the Doctor's orders."
You shrug off the comment, focusing on keeping pace with the Time Lord. The Doctor, however, seems pleased with your cooperation. "It's essential to follow instructions in these situations. Trust me, I've had my fair share of companions who thought they knew better."
As the mission progresses, Amy's jabs become more frequent. "Honestly, you're like the Doctor's little lapdog. Can't you think for yourself?"
The remarks sting, and you find yourself growing increasingly self-conscious. Determined to prove you're not as "lame" as Amy suggests, you decide to take matters into your own hands during a crucial moment. Ignoring the Doctor's warnings, you touch a peculiar-looking device, setting off a series of alarms.
The Doctor whirls around, his eyes widening. "What did I just say about touching things?!"
Your rebellious act results in chaos, drawing the attention of hostile creatures. The Doctor, Amy, and Rory engage in a frantic escape, and you realize your attempt to break free from the perceived mold has backfired spectacularly.
Later, in the safety of the TARDIS, the Doctor pulls you aside. "Alright, spill it. What's going on? That's not like you at all."
You sigh, feeling the weight of Amy's disapproval on your shoulders. "I just wanted to prove I could be more than the obedient one. Amy thinks I'm boring, and I don't want to drag the group down."
The Doctor looks at you with a mix of understanding and amusement. "Ah, Amy. She has a way with words, doesn't she? But you don't need to change who you are to impress anyone. I value you for being yourself."
Surprised by his sincerity, you open up about your insecurities. The Doctor listens intently, his expression softening. "You're not a lapdog or boring. You're reliable, and that's a rare quality. Trust me; I've traveled with all sorts. I chose you because I see something special in you."
Over the following adventures, the Doctor makes an effort to involve you more in decision-making, showcasing your unique strengths. Amy, while still a bit skeptical, begins to appreciate your contributions. As the TARDIS hurtles through time and space, you find solace in the fact that the Doctor values you not for your rebellious acts but for the person you are.

Polyalloy Pathways
After an unceremonious arrival in a post-apocalyptic timeline where Skynet successfully launched its nuclear holocaust, Casse the T-XA patiently waited in the shadows of the ruined city until dusk amongst the destruction, in an attempt to locate the positions of certain stars and other astronomical objects in the night sky.
Armed with a copy of the chrono-spatial co-ordinates that were programmed into the time displacement equipment from the timeline he departed from, Casse had no way to determine if the equipment was accurate and if he had ended up in the right place, at the right time. Being able to determine this would be of great use to his current, self-imposed mission.
Unfortunately, the sheer volume of smoke, haze and smog from the beginnings of a nuclear winter thwarted his multiple attempts, even with his boosted and enhanced visual sensors. Casse then loaded up secondary methods, picked the one which was the most accurate but still was still much less accurate than using astronomy and astrophysics, but could be useful to some extent, but Casse really had no other choice.
Tumblr media
Scanning the ruins of the buildings directly around him, Casse compared them to the files he had of the current city from a timeline when Judgement Day had never actually happened, comparing the ruined husks to what they would have looked like only a few short months ago, and after a few seconds he arrived at a 90% confidence rate this was the correct place, and that the circular error probable rate of the spatial location chrono-teleportation was a surprisingly minimal 10 metres. This was more accurate than the ICBMs Skynet had launched in what appeared to be only a few months prior to his arrival.
Radiation sensors built into his highly advanced next-generation mimetic polyalloy confirmed that, based on background radiation readings of various isotopes, Judgement Day had occured between and 4 and 6 weeks prior, and that surviving humans would be few, but buried deep underground in relative safety.
Casse could only hope Julian was one of them, as locating him was of the utmost importance to his mission. And, he had a good idea where to start to look.
The one tonne of liquid metal then emitted creaking and slurping noises as started to melt down into a pool of shimmering silvery blue liquid metal, spilling onto the ruined roadway. It twitched, and after a few seconds, three humanoid shapes rose up from the puddle, and molded themselves into faceless featureless humanoid shapes. Not one drop remained on the road.
Tumblr media
Even in this split state, each of Casse's components was roughly equal to Skynet in intelligence, and he was the most superior and intelligent creation to ever walk on this earth. But Casse didn't consider that. He didn't need to. He already knew.
Thanks to the esoteric nature of his 2nd generation liquid metal, each of Casse's components remained connected in a giant mesh network through the quantum foam, so his hive mind remained connected at all times in a giant electronic network of higgs-boson particles and other exotic quantum mechanical phenomena. Again, Casse didn't need to consider this. He had a rather peculiar human to locate.
The three liquid metal components remained in their shimmering form. There was no need, at this stage, to waste resources and morph into a proper human appearance. Silently, they walked off in different locations to comb the wreckage for clues of human habitation and a certain underground room Julian was hopefully sheltering in. It was time to get to work, and the less time spent in this hellish almost alien-like landscape the better.

Gilda definitely beamed Legend on the head for that stunt so she's super protective of Accidental Wish!Player once they come back. The Cringe Links definitely had to keep Mecha from killing the Vet for that stunt too. All three are also still salty and quite protective of Player too.
No one is letting Guide wander outta sight for awhile especially when the Chain has to travel in cold places. Unless Player's Plagas got Artic Scale Worm traits then places like the Hebra Region will slow them down and make em sluggish. Wild was very quick to notice their reaction so everyone has to take extra care in low temperature areas.
Courage: Need me to pull up the Fire Rod?
Player: If we don't find a place to stop in five minutes then sure. Twilight picked up some extra fire wood earlier.
Wanna make Legend feel worse? Player's appetite definitely changed than just their appearance. They can only eat raw meat and sweets as anything else would make em sick. Not a fun thing to hear especially when Player has to turn away a good chunk of their once favorite meals.
Player: I hate this cause I miss Wild's cooking but these damn Plagas can't stand it. 😭
Legend: *sinks further in his seat*
Warrior: I'm pretty sure we can find more things you can eat. The Cook did make some honey candy earlier.
Player does have a few buggy quirks to them from their Verdugo nature. First 'purring', well more like cricket chirping as that's what it sounds when content. They found out while Player was fast asleep and the peculiar sound comes from nowhere. Hyrule immediately think it's cute.
Mood ring on their ass as their tail tends to move differently depending on how they feel. It taps against the ground in anger or frustration, Player wraps their tail around them if nervous or scared and fast tag for happiness n excitement. The Chain have a better method to tell their mood since facial expressions aren't effective anymore.
Chittering is also thing but it really only happens when curious or confused. Do not back Player into a corner as they will go feral and attack just like a cornered animal. Eyes burning red, on all fours with tail raised to sting. The Villain Chain definitely had to turn tail since none of them expected a very violent bug on their asses once Chrono tries to attack Mecha.
Player is a very quirky person even when they're a 8 or 9 ft tall Verdugo. M
Not only did Gilda probably beam Legend but probably straight up gave him a mini curse for a short period of time as true revenge- she cares about it and understands his guilt, but seeing Player like this (when the Guide had done so much for her little brother) she wasn't about to let this slide with a tap on the wrist.
I also like to think that Wild probably went through his magic jewelry to find some cold protection to help Player! (Also because there was a mention of Mecha- he would probably allow them to sit in his hatch in the colder climates for the extra protection)

and another character ask: tengai
*rises like a zombie from a grave* here’s my incredibly biased review on my favourite shield boi >:3 (who I may or may not Simp for you can’t prove shit)
What I like about him: opossum man opossum man opossum man. mmmmm that is the PEAK design. He is. Such a wet dog. He looks like you’d find him sat in a box in the rain looking at you like ◕^◕ I love his dynamic with Rappa, they’re so funny together, he’s so serious and Rappa gives absolutely no shits. His barriers are also super pretty, I want an umbrella that looks like one. I also just find his general aura so calming, like, he just seems like he’d be so gentle and kind if you went to him upset or something. He also just seems like he’d hug really nice?? (I did say this was incredibly biased)
What I dislike about him: he’s SUPER uptight. Like. You- you can relax, dude. You don’t gotta follow every single rule to a t. You can chill a bit.
Favourite moment: arguing with Rappa when Fatgum was asking what the hassiakai wanted/was doing. Absolute comedy.
Least favourite moment: his arrest scene. He just looked so broken. He just sighed and accepted it so quickly. My poor little opossum baby.
Situation I wanna see more: I want to see him interacting with everyone else in the hassiakai. Sure, him and Rappa have a low-key gay af rivalry going on, but how is he with the other bullets? Does he get on with them? Does he have a god complex like Nemoto? Thinks he’s better and see them as inferior because he was chosen specifically to deal with the strongest person in the bullets? Does he get on with the seemingly more relaxed bullets, like Hojo and Chrono? Does he get on well with pops? They have the same vibes.
Interesting AU: I call this the Zoroark au (it’s interlinked with the sin au, brotherhood au, and a third called the goat au) which is a crossover between mha and Pokémon, where Tengai is a zoroark in disguise as a human. He was born half human and half Zoroark, and when his parents discovered this, they quite literally threw him to the wolves. A Zoroark pack found him and took him in, raising him along side them, until he was 10 years old, when he was kidnapped alongside Rappa. After they managed to escape, they were lost and Tengai had no idea how to get back to his pack, as they were constantly travelling. After spending a few weeks on the streets, they managed to get back to rappa’s house, and rappa’s parents took him in. He struggled for a few years, finding it near impossible to keep to the high standards of rappa’s parents, especially since he’d never been to a human school before, and functioned on an entirely different language and currency. Then, miraculously, after taking a walk through a forest on a camping trip, he found his pack again. By now he was around 16, he explained to the Pokémon what had happened while he was gone, relaying stories of his encounters with humans, telling cautionary tales of kidnappers to the young zorua, and even updating some Zoroark technology to match that of the humans, making some kinds of work more effective. Three more years passed, with he and a couple other Zoroark taking frequent adventures out into the cities, people watching, taking notes on how their lives differed, trying to figure out why humans did things the way they did. On one of these trips, Tengai got separated from the other two and was lost, wandering down a labyrinth of alleyways, when he stumbled upon a peculiar looking building. After managing to climb the concrete wall around it, he was greeted to the face of none other than his old best friend, kendo Rappa. Unfortunately for Tengai, Rappa had been being lectured by overhaul, who was…less than pleased at the sudden intruder, however, after seeing him bubble himself to protect from the onslaught of overhauled spikes heading his way, he decided his quirk could be a good counter to rappa’s, and on a few conditions, allowed him to join the Hassaikai.
A cross over: 👆🏼that. Pokémon crossover.
OTP: Rappa. Rappa literally steps on him at one point, I don’t know what you want from me. Plus I’m a sucker for big intimidating softie and tiny feral gremlin who will give your whole bloodline rabies.
Other ships: Tabe, Chrono(haul) and pops. Don’t question me on any of it. I can’t give you answers.
BROTP: I feel like he’d get on well with setsuno. Maybe kinda like a mentor to him. That or Aizawa.
NOTP: Kirishima because that is a thing I have seen and just No.
Assortment of headcannons: >:3
1. He’s undiagnosed autistic: his mask is designed to be a muffler, hence why it covers his ears, to help with his sensory issues. He has his eyes closed near constantly to protect from bright lights and eye contact.
2. His favourite animals are opossums.
3. His favourite food are apples and he and Eri have Wild West style show downs with nerf guns when there’s only one left in the fridge. (Usually he lets her win)
4. He has like 10 versions of the same yukata, just in different thicknesses of fabric, for different types of weather.
5. Him and Rappa don’t actually argue as much as you’d expect, a lot of their disputes are faked or exaggerated to either distract opponents or give the rest of the hassiakai something to laugh at.
6. His barriers get weaker the further away he is from them, and the larger they are, the thinner they are.
7. He’s 24 years old and 5’8.
8. Due to the huge height difference, Rappa has a tendency to pick him up and carry him around out of no where. Tengai found it embarrassing at first but now just kinda rolls with it.
I have so much more to say about this silly little guy it’s just not coming to me rn. It’s 2am and I’m zoned out as fuuuuck

Meet my Characters: Persephone Zima
Requested by @tiarabigo
This will be a bit shorter as Persephone isn’t a part of the main cast
But she’s also a love interest soooo….
////
Name: Alyona Rabinovich Dmitriev (real name)
Persephone Zima (mercenary name)
Age: around 22-24
Lesbian
Nationality: Russian
Human with the power of necromancy
Notes: 6 foot tall Russian Necromancer Lady
——
The Candlestick Child
Born under the name Alyona, our little necromancer was born in a small town in Russia. She grew up with her grandfather, a candlemaker. They were poor, and due to her grandfather’s failing health, Alyona would wander the chilly streets from early morning to midnight, trying to sell candles.
This taught Alyona a couple things. One, was an appreciation of fire, yet weariness of what damage it could cause. She saw fire as a symbol of safety and hope due to its warmth and light, but would be reminded to be cautious whenever it burnt her fingers. She would walk the town streets with only a candle for company.
The other thing she learned was that she could not only hear the whispers of the dead, she could see them as well. There was many a night spent running home in fright from the spirits of those who had died in the cold. Yet Alyona was sworn to secrecy regarding this.
See, the reason she didn’t seem to have any parents was because necromancy is not a power that many people trust. The opportunity to communicate with, and even control, the dead is a highly controversial topic, and even using those powers in some places is deemed unethical. Alyona’s wasn’t sure what became of her parents, but she knew that she didn’t wish to end up like them.
Sadly, despite her efforts, Alyona’s grandfather would die in her arms, leaving her to fend for herself.
——
Chance at a Different Fate
For the next few years, Alyona passed herself off as a fortune teller to hide her actual powers. This seemed to work, but there were whispers around the town. Many weren’t convinced that she hadn’t inherited her parents’ powers, and Alyona could sense the inevitable consequences coming.
But then, one day, she’d be suddenly approached by a young man in peculiar clothing, telling her to come with him if she would like to live. She went with him, not thinking much of it, but realized with horror that a mob had been organized to kill her, and she had just narrowly escaped death.
The man introduced himself as Chronos, a telekinetic with the ability to reverse time. He had witnessed Alyona’s execution, and felt compelled to help. Chronos was looking to start work as a mercenary, but needed to be registered in a group. He asked Alyona if she’d like to work together, and seek out the rest of their members. She agreed, and left with him to begin a new life.
——-
Welcome to the Plot
It’s been quite a bit of time since then, and Alyona now goes by the name Persephone Zima to avoid any links to her past.
Since leaving with Chronos, she not only amassed and became the leader of the mercenary group, she grew proficient in both her powers and in sword fighting. She’s known as an intimidating woman you do not want to cross under any circumstances, and has led her group to astounding success.
But then in comes the plot.
By which I mean in comes a couple of runaway Royal children from the kingdom of Dawnsview. And the older sibling, Phoenix, quickly rocks Persephone’s world in a way the necromancer could never expect.
———-
Persephone is the type of person who can command the respect of others by just walking into a room. Tall, composed, and intimidating, she’s not someone you’d want to disobey. She’s sharp, logical, and is quick to resolve inner group conflict whenever possible.
But when she’s not acting as a leader, Seph is a very warm and comforting presence that makes others feel safe and at ease. She’s happy to lend an ear to whoever needs it, and is realistic but understanding. When it comes to finding help, Persephone is one of the best people you can find.
Canonically, Persephone is the best sword fighter in the story. Her fighting style takes inspiration from Russian Sword Dancing, and she’s both graceful and precise in battle.
As mentioned throughout, Seph is a necromancer. She can not only communicate with the dead, she can raise skeletons to aid her in combat, human or otherwise. So yes, she could probably raise a dinosaur skeleton to fight.
——
Relationships
Phoenix Dawnsview:
Persephone takes on the role of Phoenix’s mentor at the start of the story, but this quickly changes as it becomes apparent that Phoenix doesn’t exactly need help learning to fight. Instead, Seph becomes Phoenix’s go-to for advice in leading a mercenary group and handling inter-group conflicts.
It’s also blatantly obvious to everyone that Phoenix has a massive crush on Seph. Seph is very aware of this, and at first just treats it as something for Phoenix to grow out of. This changes as the story goes on. To Persephone, Phoenix reminds her of fire itself. Destructive, yes. Wild, yes. But also comforting, warming, and able to brighten a dark situation. She ends up becoming fascinated by the chaotic pyrokinetic, and this intrigue turns into a deep respect and adoration. The two eventually begin a long distance relationship, and go on dates whenever they happen to be in the same area.
As much as she loves Phoenix, though, Seph does wish she’d be a little less reckless… and prone to causing property damage.
Chronos Cendrillon:
Her former co-founder of her mercenary group, Seph and Chronos certainly go back. Their relationship has changed overtime, much like with all of Chronos’ relationships. Initially they were good friends, and Chronos was considered Seph’s second in command. The two would often consult each other on decisions, and felt a strong reliability towards each other.
But this would change after a certain event that led to Chronos erasing most of his memories and burning many bridges. He and Seph clashed far more due to Chronos constantly trying to micromanage. Seph would often have to reprimand him and remind him who is in charge. She still respects his abilities and ambition, but he’s definitely fallen out of her favour.
Athan Orlok And Siren:
The remaining members of her group after Chronos and Chess leave.
It’s a joke that Seph acts like an annoyed parent towards Athan. Between constantly reprehending them for speaking inappropriately, and getting them back on task, Seph is often nagging them. If they weren’t otherwise very good at their job, Seph would have lost her patience with them a while ago. The two often drink together after missions.
Siren gets on better with Seph and causes less issues. Seph does often have to juggle things to accommodate Siren due to her albinism and her regular visits back to her elven tribe, which the elf appreciates immensely. Siren likes to act like the girly “bestie” with Seph, who doesn’t mind it… but would prefer if Siren left talk of clothes shopping and whatnot for when the group isn’t working.
Chess Malisci:
Seph’s relationship with Chess has always been complicated. They were never particularly close, and Chess would always keep to herself without making much trouble. Seph still finds it hard to completely trust the former Queen of Thieves, but does her best to defend her should doubt or suspicion be cast her way.
Seph has recently become more sympathetic towards Chess following Chronos’ complete change in demeanour. Given how close Chess and Chronos used to be, Seph can tell how much the current situation has hurt Chess, and this furthers her irritation towards Chronos.

Note
More regarding The Fall and Rise of Creed Diskence (re post #700741472475086848): since the fic predates both commercial English translations and the anime, and since the author and her beta (native English speakers) were hunting and pecking through Japanese Weekly Shounen Jump, expect some Early Adopter peculiarities: spellings differ from the commercial standard; Earth geography is referenced; Creed has a Snape Manor background; her headcanons about the internal politics of Chronos.

In the wake of the Great Eclipse, the timelines fractured, and the fabric between epochs thinned. It was during this tumultuous period that a peculiar figure wandered into the sleepy town of Nova Tenochtitlán—a town where the New World and the Old merged into a rich tapestry of past and future.
This figure was known simply as The Chrono-Jester. Dressed in an anachronistic blend of neo-Mesoamerican fashion and circus garb, his vibrant suit patched with colors that seemed to pulse with the rhythm of the ages. A red hat, a symbol of the Red Earth from which the First Men emerged, perched atop his head, its hue a match for the Red Sun, the harbinger of the Fifth World.
The Chrono-Jester's presence caused a stir amongst the townsfolk, who were adorned in smart fabrics and adorned with digital obsidian pendants, a blend of ancestral reverence and future foresight. Yet, the Jester spoke not a word. Instead, he carried with him an ancient Olmec time artifact, capable of displaying scenes from the past.
Each evening, beneath the holographic heavens, the Chrono-Jester would activate the artifact. The townspeople would gather, and the air would shimmer with the visions of epochs long past—jaguars prowling under the dense canopy of a rainforest, mighty pyramids towering over a landscape where people revered the Feathered Serpent, and kings of lost civilizations whose names had been reclaimed by the earth.
But the Chrono-Jester's purpose was more than mere entertainment. Each display carried within it a hidden message, a riddle written in the glyphs of old, warning of a cataclysm that would come not from the stars, but from the very timelines that the town straddled. The people of Nova Tenochtitlán were the guardians of a chronological nexus, a place where time streams intersected and could either flow harmoniously or clash and unravel the tapestry of existence.
Amidst the digital zócalo, where virtual and reality coalesced, the Chrono-Jester unveiled his final vision. A fearsome deity from the Mesoamerican pantheon, one thought to be a mere myth, was set to return. This deity had witnessed the rise and fall of civilizations, and now, empowered by the fractured timelines, it sought to reshape the Fifth World in its image.
It was up to the Chrono-Jester, a time-bender who had once ruled as a king in a bygone era, and the people of Nova Tenochtitlán, descendants of ancient Mesoamericans and pioneers of the digital future, to restore balance. Together, they must delve into the depths of their history and harness the power of their technological prowess to seal the ruptures in time.
As the Great Eclipse drew near once more, casting its shadow across the land, the Chrono-Jester stood at the nexus point. He began an ancient ritual, encoded in the very suit he wore, each stripe and color a symbol of the eras that had to align. The townsfolk activated their obsidian pendants, creating a network of light, energy, and collective will.
With a burst of light that rivaled the sun, the timelines aligned. The deity, ancient and awe-inspiring, was not banished but joined in the effort, recognizing the unity of purpose between the Chrono-Jester and the people.
The Great Eclipse passed, leaving behind a world where time flowed uninterrupted, where the echoes of the Mesoamerican past lived harmoniously with the whispers of the future. The Chrono-Jester, his role fulfilled, faded away, leaving behind only his hat, a relic now of a timeline preserved. The people of Nova Tenochtitlán continued their watch, guardians of the chronology, a testament to the cycle of Five Suns, and the dawn of an era where history and destiny walked hand in hand.
