Him offering to carry Ashley's bags in and out of the airport
THE FISH JOKE MY BELOVED
I just love this scene!!!!
Yes I do quote this scene every chance I get why do you ask
I love how from the point where the random old dude kinda reminds Walter why he's there onwards, he noticeably goes out of his way to help Ashley, and the others, but particularly Ashley
The scene where they start arguing and he realizes it's the cloaks influence!!!!
When he gets emotional and starts tearing up over loosing Bonnie, and how he insists on going to help Billy
- Who was your favorite character in this book? What was your favorite scene/defining moment with that character?
- What was your favorite theme in this book?
-writing/drawing prompt: pick one of the circles! Which one did you think was the most interesting? Try to draw what it looks like or write something about its nature and what it represents.
How would you describe Billy's personality? I keep trying, and keep running into "boring male main protagonist with unremarkable personality." At least as of Circles of Seven. I can't tell if he just hasn't been developed as much by this book, or if my perspective is skewed due to my passionate love of funny side characters and I'm not picking up on it
I’m thinking about how Wasteland, Baby was a call to action and a tongue-and-cheek acceptance of the end of the world. And how Eat Your Young and Unreal Unearth are about the nine circles of Hell, about the afterlife, about the consequences after death. I’m thinking about one album cover being under water and another being buried under earth, about NFWMB “ain’t it like thunder under earth the sound it makes”, about Unreal Unearth and unearthing something, un-burial, about Like Real People Do “what did you bury before those hands pulled me from the earth.”
I’m thinking Eat Your Young, about Kronos’ mythology, about hunger for and to keep power, about gluttony. I’m thinking about Swan Upon Leda, about the lust Zeus had for Leda, about the greed of man over bodies, about who is the sinner. I’m thinking about angels, about their lack of power in Swan Upon Leda “could never belong to angels”, about their fall from grace in the “Unknown” song “I thought you were like an angel/going unknown as any angel/you called me angel.”
Some of my favorite in tape designs!!!!!! (That I designed.. lol)
They are all "stamp" type tape, i even paid the factory extra to get custom molds for these because I love the differing lengths and shapes of real stamps as well as amore delicate line of circles vs the default molds with huge circles.
There was a little drama at some point because the factory was letting people use my mold that I paid for but I cleared it up @_@;;
Anyway I don't go to cons anymore so I will probably have to stop selling washi tape cause they don't do so hot online especially for the price we have to sell them at to make it worth it for these complex designs + foil etc. No regretti tho, to see them in person is worth it.
All my washi tape (there's more than this too lol) are buy 4 get 1 free~
look i had my heart set out for Willem DaFoe since Spiderman: No Way Home and at first i was mad that they got live action Shaggy to play William
but then i remembered they got fucking live action shaggy to play william bc that man was and has since been the perfectly cast Shaggy and i want to see him as fucking feral as possible now
(also like….it’s so unfair the most iconic cartoon character of the 70s is now related to william fucking afton)
trying to make a suns design . i am not feeling very creative today
im happy with their head and their fluffy but a little confused with the rest of their outfit
I think any criticism you can apply to Jason being a boring main character could just as easily be applied to anyone else in the Seven because the entire Heroes of Olympus series lacks a strong definitive narrative voice in general
