“Y/N?” Apollo asked, opening their door. The hinges creaked, but they didn’t move. “Come on, you can’t stay here forever. You should see if Mr. Wright has a case you can take. Get your mind off-”

“Like your one to talk,” they hissed, not moving from underneath their blanket. “Leave of absence,” they scoffed,” what do you plan on doing?”

“I’m going to find his killer.” They sat up at that and scowled.

“Wouldn’t that be easier as the defense on the case? We both know starbuck didn’t do it, he adored Clay.”

“Then why don’t you?” Apollo asked. They had no response to that, and simply curled back up beside Apollo. He began to stroke their hair, and humming.

“Why do we always end up alone?” They asked, and Apollo could hear a hitch in their voice. “First our parents, then- and now Clay… Why can’t people just stay for once?”

“Move over,” Apollo sighed, and lay down beside them, laying Clay’s jacket over them as a blanket. He went back to stroking their hair. “I don’t know, I wish I could give you an answer but… I don’t have one. We promised him we’d take care of eachother, didn’t we?” They nodded. “Then I promise, that even if the whole world abandons you, I’ll stay by your side.”

“Heh, that’s cheesy,” They giggle slightly. “But the same goes for me, I’ll always be by your side, no matter what.”

“Good,” he kissed their forehead, “now get up! We'll just have to catch Clay’s killer together.”

if you are dating clay terran, it is common for him to randomly show up at your house at two in the morning begging for you to come look at the stars with him.

are you tired? yes. is it a little cold out? absolutely. but can you ever really say no to clay when he gives you such an expecting and hopeful look? absolutely not.

so you will often find yourself on a blanket in the middle of a field outside the cosmos space center, staring up at the sky with him.

but even though he so desperately pleaded with you to come out here with him to see the constellations, he can't help but stare at you.

of course you'll notice. because he's been pointing out all these stars to you but he's suddenly gone quiet.

that's when he finally does what he's wanted to do the second he saw the stars so beautifully reflected in your eyes. and he gives you a kiss.

it's the sweetest thing- but then again all kisses with him are sweet. he gently cups your cheek with one hand while the other holds your hand.

the original point of coming out here is quickly forgotten as clay continues to give you the most comforting and soft kisses he could.

if he could, he'd spend every night just like this one.

showers at night rather than in the morning, just because he‘s too tired after waking up to do it then.

has a very small appetite, and finds heavier meals make him nauseous. he makes sure to keep up with regular meals, but prefers to snack throughout the day and space out what he eats!

clay gets nervous very easily when around large crowds, preferring to keep to a small crowd of close and trusted friends. people often mistake him as an extrovert, and although clay does enjoy meeting new people, too many people at once is just too much.

because of said nervousness, he’s also developed many habits; he is prone to clicking his tongue, fiddling with the end of his shirt, or shaking his leg.

obsessed with nasa merch and bobble heads, especially the star wars and star trek ones! all space and science fiction merchandise will be in his possession, and clay cherishes every single one of them!!! if anyone dares to dirty them, clay is very prepared to smite them.

has glow in the dark stars in his bed, meticulously replicating all his favourite constellations! he falls asleep connecting them all together with imaginary lines, and reciting his encyclopaedic knowledge on the stars and whatever lies beyond them.

a very sentimental boy, and keeps anything that he associates with fond memories. he’s the type to take so many polaroids and hang them up on a string in his bedroom to fawn over. also the type that agonises over throwing away sentimental items or gifts from old friends. the pain of trashing them just HURTS HIM in unimaginable ways, and he has to force apollo to take them from him before he kneels over and cries.

I can't find any Clay Terran x reader, or okay, I found like two headcanon pieces but anyway. So I was reading through his wiki page, because he seems like such a nice guy and a dork and after reading his page I need more on him, and it said he spent so much time at the space center that he got to be in an official picture (or something like that). So imagine him bringing his S/O to the space center to introduce them and everyone teases him or something like that. Like, Athena asks if he's gonna marry her and Aura joins in until Clay asks when Metis and Aura are gonna get married and Athena starts questioning Aura about that instead. And Clay's S/O wants to be a prosecutor so Clay gets jealous cause they starts chasing Simon around and asking questions or they're a fan of Simon's. Maybe Apollo can be there too.I dunno I just have a bit of a crush and can't find anything to satisfy it. I would write it, but I only know a bit about Clay from his Wiki and it's not enough to get a characterization for him.

The sun was warm on Y/N’s back, as she curled in closer to Clay. He had an arm slung around her waist, and his face was buried in her hair. With a small huff, she pried herself out of his grip and slid out of bed. She half haphazardly combed her fingers through her hair, which was still damp from her shower. Y/N yawned, as she left the bedroom, pulling on one of Clay’s space center shirts. He’d stayed the night since Apollo was working overtime on a case, and that meant she had the apartment to herself. Apollo and Y/N had shared an apartment just the two of them since Clay moved into an apartment closer to the space center. Before, the three of them had shared an apartment, with the boys sharing a room. 

She made her way to the kitchen, yawning. Turning on the kitchen light, she flinched, before making her way to the fridge to look for food.

“Y/N,” Clay whined, making her jump as he wrapped his arms around her waist, leaning over her, and nuzzled her neck. “You left me.” 

She laughed, “I was trying to make food, aren’t you hungry?” She stood up and turned around.

He opened his eyes to look at her, “Yes, but we can eat whenever. I miss you, and Pol-”

“Apollo would like you two to not screw in the kitchen,” they both jumped and turned to see the man in question standing in the doorway.

“Hey Pollo!” Clay laughed. “Don’t worry, I would’ve taken her back to her room,” he laughed as Y/N’s face turned red and she buried her face in his neck.

“Ew, TMI. Y/N do we need to have a talk about this?”

“N-No, I’m good. Wanna join us for breakfast?” Y/N asked, looking up at Apollo.

“Sure,” he yawned, “Then I’m gonna crash,” he mumbled. “Hands to yourself please!” He called as he left, Clay groaned.

“We’re having a date at my place next weekend,” Clay huffed.

“Clay,” Y/N sang, as she jumped on his back, making him yelp.

“Y/N! What are you doing here?” He asked, with a playful look in his eyes, and turned around.

“Oh, y’know. I’m here on a date with my awesome boyfriend,” Y/N smirked, her arms were still wrapped around Clay’s neck.

“Really? He must be a pretty cool guy to capture your heart.”

“He is, he’s smart, funny…” she closed her eyes and leaned their foreheads together, “ and an absolute dork!” She laughed, pulling away and grabbing his wrist. “Now come on! I wanna get inside, it’s hot out.”

“What about your boyfriend?” He laughed as she pulled him inside.

She rolled her eyes, “Dork.”

They headed inside, with their tickets, and looked at the map. The aquarium wasn’t all that big, and they could probably walk through in half an hour at least. But it wasn’t about rushing through, the goal was to spend time together. Clay had been busy with astronaut training lately, and Y/N was getting ready for the bar exam with Apollo. 

“Do you wanna walk through, or take the moving path?” Clay asked, as they came to the underwater tunnel.

“Hm, the path,” Y/N said, tugging him onto it.

Clay smiled, and watched as Y/N stared in awe at the fish swimming around them. He tapped her shoulder and pointed at a sawshark saw over them. She laughed.

“Ever seen a stingray’s face?”

“No, why?”

“Hehe, look,” she pointed up at a stingray, sitting on the tunnel. Clay’s brows furrowed before he laughed.

“I-It looks stupid.”

“I know!” Y/N laughed. He joined her, and wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

“Hey Y/N? Thanks for coming today,” Clay smiled.

“Of course. I needed the break anyway, and I’m sure you did too.” She leaned up to kiss his cheek. He leaned his head onto hers.

“I lava you.”

“I love you too,” she turned and whispered, “but make another pun like that and we’re gonna have some problems.” Clay burst out laughing.

Y/N stood, anxiously tapping her foot, waiting in the elevator. The floors slowly changed, and she began tapping her foot. She’d rushed over to the space center as soon as she’d heard about the bombing. Now, she was regretting not coming despite the fact it had been Clay who insisted she didn’t come. He’d said something sappy about how saying goodbye would feel like he wasn’t coming back. It had made her scowl and remind him that he had to come back, because they still had a wedding to plan. That and there was no way she was raising a kid alone.

The elevator dinged and she stepped out. Apollo turned around, and as soon as he saw her, he moved towards her. Him and another man, his mentor Phoenix Wright, were blocking something. Phoenix turned around as well and looked like he was about to say something before Apollo spoke up.

“Y/N, what are you doing here?”

Ignoring her brother’s question, she frowned, “Where is he? Polly where is he?”

“I’m sorry, who are you?” Phoenix asked, moving away from whatever was behind him. Y/N gasped and fell to her knees, placing a hand on her abdomen. Apollo rushed forwards to hold her.

“I-I’m- I’m Y/N Terran, Clay’s wife.”

“Oh, I’m sorry for your loss…” Phoenix looked down. “So, I take it you and Apollo are friends?”

“Actually,” Apollo said, rubbing Y/N’s back, “she’s my twin sister.”

Y/N sat in the visitation area of the detention center. It wasn’t uncommon to find her here, besides Aura, she was the only one who visited Simon in prison. But this time, she wasn’t here for Simon.

“Y/N?” Starbuck asked as he sat down.

She’s been fiddling with her ring and not watching the other side of the glass. She jumped when he called her name, and looked up with a sad smile.

“Mr. Starbuck, how are you?”

He looked down, “So, you the prosecutor?”

“No,” Y/N said, shaking her head, “I just wanted to see how you were doing. Apollo has banned me from getting anywhere near this case, and my boss assigned someone else before I could even ask. I can’t say I don’t understand why…” Starbuck nodded. “I didn’t fight him on coming to say goodbye because I had an appointment. I was going to surprise him with the ultrasound when he got back.”

“I’m sorry,” Starbuck said, looking down.

“Don’t worry,” she said, standing up, “Apollo will get you a just verdict. Goodbye Mr.Starbuck.”

Clay woke up slowly, all he could see was white. It briefly crossed his mind that he was dead, before he heard soft beeping. Carefully, he turned his head to see a heart rate monitor beeping steadily. 

“Good, you’re awake. We were getting worried Mr.Terran, you gave us quite the scare.” He looked towards the door to see a doctor coming in. 

“Where am I? What happened?”

“You’re in a secure hospital because you were stabbed. There is currently an ongoing trial for your murder.”

“My what?!” He sat up suddenly and winced at the pain in his chest and the IV cord that pulled his arm. The doctor looked panicked and rushed over to stop him. “I need to call someone, please.”

“I’m sorry but I can’t let you do that. It could bring danger to not only you, but whoever you call. We don’t know why you were stabbed, and they may try again if they find out you’re alive. You cannot call anyone, or leave this hospital, until the killer is caught.” Clay settled down a bit.

“You don’t understand, my wife- She- I can’t-”

“I’m sorry Mr.Terran. But I have my orders.”

“Aura! This isn’t what they’d have wanted,” Y/N said. She was sitting with the other hostages. “I know Simon didn’t killer her, but Athena didn’t do it either! I know how you feel, but taking hostages, and placing blame on whoever won’t solve anything.”

“... Then what do you suggest I do?”

“Find the real killer, that’s all you can do. Please, don’t make this worse for yourself.”

“Worse for myself?” Aura laughed, “When did you get so mature.”

Y/N knocked on Edgeworth’s office door. He’d asked her to come see him after the phantom had been caught. Although he hadn’t said why, she was pretty sure it had something to do with Simon coming back. Simon would probably need a recommendation or something despite getting an acquittal. 

“Come in.”

“You asked for me sir?” She stepped in.

He looked up at her. “You have to understand, it was for everyone’s safety. Now that the phantom has been caught, there’s someone here for you. I believe he’s waiting in your office.”

“Uh, who’s here to see me?”

He smiled before waving her off and returning to his work. She frowned as she returned to her office. While waiting for the elevator, she was joined by Simon who had been setting up his office. It was on the same floor as Edgeworth’s as one of the conditions for him being able to work as a prosecutor again.

“Simon,” she smiled at him.

“Terran-dono,” he bowed his head, “I do believe congratulations are in order.”

“Ah, ya. I’m sorry I hadn’t visited in a while, I was busy with work.”

“That’s alright,” the elevator opened and they stepped inside. Simon was going to the first floor, and Y/N was returning to her office. 

“By the way, do you know what’s up with Mr.Edgeworth? He was being really kriptic.”

“Unfortunately I cannot help you Terran-dono. Perhaps it has something to do with…” He didn’t finish his thought, there was no need. Before Y/N could respond, the door opened for her.

“Goodbye Simon,” she waved as she stepped out.

The lights were off when she entered her office. It was how she’d left it, so maybe the person wasn’t there yet. She ran her hand along the wall and flicked on the switch, expecting to find it empty. But it wasn’t. Sitting on her desk, was her husband. One of his arms was in a sling, and he wasn’t wearing his space center jacket, but other than that he looked the same. Well, he did look a little tired too.

“Hey?” He said awkwardly, giving her a small wave. She stood there with wide eyes, trying to figure out what was happening. “Y/N?” He called, stepping towards her. 

He stopped halfway across the room, and it took her a second before she stormed towards him. Clay looked elated, and opened his good arm for a hug. Suddenly, he doubled over and began coughing as Y/N punched him in the gut.

“You asshole!” She yelled, as tears flooded her eyes and she began to sob. “You’re dead, I-I saw your body. There was a trial for your murder… Do you know the shit Starbuck and Athena went through! Do you know what I went through!”

She stopped yelling and fell to the floor, sobbing into her hands. Y/N expected to look up and be alone again. For someone to come into her office and for Mr.Edgeworth force her to take a vacation. This had to be a hallucination, she thought. But then she felt an arm wrap around her, and he was rubbing her back. She buried her face into his neck and kept sobbing.

“I thought I’d have to raise her alone.”

“Her huh?” He started laughing, “We’re having a girl!”

“I’m having a girl,” she started laughing and pulled away, “I don’t know if Polly is gonna let you anywhere near me after the shit you pulled. And you’ve got a lot to explain!”

“Alright, can we go to the couch?”

“No. You’re telling me everything right here, right now. Starting with what happened after the explosion.”

He sighed, “Alright, so the bomb went off and I dragged Mr.Starbuck to-”

Y/N sat at a bus stop, scrolling through his phone as he waited for Clay. A soft breeze passed him, and he frowned as his hair flew into his eyes. After wiping the tears that had formed, he double checked his phone. No new messages from Clay, but Apollo had asked if he planned to be back for dinner and if Clay would be sleeping over. He replied that he didn’t think so, but he’d ask, just as a bus pulled up. Carefully, he watched people disembark, looking for his boyfriend. If he had told him where they were going, he would have long since gone ahead, but he’d been stubborn.

“Y/N!” He heard someone call from his left. Looking over, he saw Clay waving at him with a big grin on his face. Sighing, he put his phone away and ran up beside him.

“What took you so long? And how did you get off the bus without me seeing you? Did you learn to teleport and not tell me?” He linked arms with him and leaned into his side. He began to lead him in the same direction as the other tourists.

“Sorry,” he smiled, “I was doing something and got sidetracked.”

Y/N shook his head and smiled, “So, you gonna tell me where we’re going? Or are we going to play twenty questions?”

“I just have some people I want you to meet,” he laughed, “ I mean, you’ve met my mom, but I want you to meet my other family.”

“You mean the space center?” he asked, looking up at him. He nodded and he looked thoughtful for a second before saying, “Huh, I guess I haven’t actually met anyone at the center yet.”

“Ya, I hadn’t noticed either until Mr. Starbuck said someth- Hey, where are you going?”

“Hm? The entrance.” He laughed and pulled Y/N back towards him, dragging him along a different path.

“Nope! We can look around later, for now I got special permission to use the back door. It’s faster to get where we’re going.”

They entered the station through a back employee door, using a card that he’d been lent. The hallway was bright, and besides a few doors to storage rooms and a janitor’s closet, it was empty. Clay led Y/N by the hand to a stairwell, much to his dismay. 

When they got out of the stairwell, they were on the fourth floor. Just as Y/N was about to ask where he’d taken him, the elevator dinged and a little girl ran out, chasing a robot. The robot in question, came up to them and hid behind Clay. The girl stopped in front of them, she looked confused for a second before her eyes lit up and she opened her mouth to say something.

“Athena! Stop terrorizing Ponco,” a man in a black coat called as he rounded the corner. The girl looked back at him and pouted.

“I’m not terrorizing him. And look!” She pointed back at Y/N. “Clay brought his boyfriend!” Y/N’s face turned pink and Clay started laughing before yelping in pain as he stepped on his foot.

The man sighed before walking over and picking Athena up, and extending his other hand. “Nice to meet you. My name is Simon Blackquill, this is Athena Cykes.”

“Hello!” Athena cheered and Simon winced at how loud she was.

Y/N let out a confused laugh and took Simon’s hand. “Pleasure to meet you, I’m Y/N Justice.”

After Simon let go of his hand, they entered the robotics lab with Clay and Ponco in tow. Athena was let down with the promise to behave, and immediately started showing Y/N around. It turned out that after Clay had gone to get him, the HAT-1 crew had been called into a brief meeting. Athena had been waiting outside the room until Simon showed up. The two spent a good half hour on the machines before Clay’s stomach growled and he deemed it time for lunch. So Simon and Y/N went to get food from the cafeteria, while Clay and Athena stayed behind.

“So Mr. Justice, what do you want to be? I know Clay wants to be an astronaut, and Apollo wants to be a defence attorney,” he asked as they stepped out onto the ground floor and made their way to the cafeteria.

“Y/N is fine, and I’m not sure. I want to go into law, but that’s all I know.” They picked a sandwich shop to grab lunch from, and stood in line. “I was raised by a pretty cool defense attorney, but the defense is nothing without the prosecution. Right?”

“Hm, that is an interesting way to look at it. Well, if you ever want any insight into being a prosecutor, you can usually find me here pretty often.” He gave him a curious look before placing his order. As they headed back, he answered, “I’m a prosecutor. My sister is a robotics engineer here, and Ms. Cykes, Athena’s mom, is my mentor. I study psychology under her.”

“That’s... actually pretty cool,” Y/N said as he closed the elevator's door. “I might take you up on that offer.”

As they stepped out of the elevator, they could hear more voices coming from the lab. It sounded like Clay was being teased over something, and people were laughing along. Y/N opened the door just in time to catch Clay saying, “Oh, ya? What about you and Ms. Cykes?” Before he could announce his presence, a woman with purple hair wrapped her arm around Clay and gave him a noogie. Simon sighed, and Clay looked over.

“Y-Y/N help,” he strained out, as he tried to get away from the woman. This caught everyone’s attention, and they all looked at him. Athena however ran over and took her sandwich from Simon.

Y/N shrugged, “I’m sure you deserve this for some reason or another. Unless you have evidence otherwise, I have no intention of cutting your sentence.”

“Oh, com-Ah!” He yelled as the woman let him go and he fell to the floor.

“So you’re the boy we’ve heard so much about, huh?” The woman asked, everyone but Athena and Simon were staring at him.

“I guess so. My name is Y/N Justice, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

“Justice? You aren’t gonna start yelling are you?” A man with red hair laughed. At this point, Clay had pulled himself off the floor and was beside her with his arm around her waist. “Because you’re brother and Clay are loud enough as it is.”

“Hey!” Clay pouted as he took his sandwich and dragged Y/N to the table where Athena and Simon sat. “I’m starting to think this was a bad idea,” Clay mumbled as he took a bite.

“Clay, are you not going to introduce us?” Clay stopped mid bite.

“Whoops,” he laughed slightly, “Y/N, this is Metis Cykes, she’s a psychologist here.” Metis waved as she fixed Athena’s ponytail. “That’s Aura Blackquill, she’s a robotics engineer and Simon’s big sister.” Aura offered a nod before returning to Ponco and another robot. “And this is Solomon Starbuck, an astronaut and my mentor.” The man with red hair pulled up a seat at the table next to her.

“So,” Solomon started, “I think Aura was on to something earlier.”

“Oh god,” Clay mumbled before burying his face in his hands. “Not again.”

“When are you two getting married?” Y/N’s face turned red and he choked on his drink. He looked at Clay who was avoiding eye contact with him. Normally Clay took teasing in strides, although it probably hit differently coming from the man he looks up to.

“We already are.” Everyone stopped and looked at him, even Clay had turned to him. He smiled, “At least according to Polly.” It was silent for a few seconds after, and Y/N began to wonder if he’d overstepped.

“Clay,” Solomon said, looking at the boy on Y/N’s other side, “you better keep him.” He let out a breath he hadn’t known he’d been holding. Clay smiled.

“I plan to,” the blush that had started to fade came back full force, and everyone laughed. He kicked him under the table.

Following that conversation, Y/N met Yuri Cosmos before Athena, Simon, Clay, and him took a tour of the building. This included a few areas that were off limits for civilians. Despite having come here together multiple times with Apollo, Y/N still loved watching Clay talking about everything here. It surprised most people that they’d never had a date here. But they’d only gone on a few dates so far since they were busy with school. They had gone stargazing once, but most of the time they went to a planetarium or the museum.

By the time they got back into the city, it was almost seven. Clay had turned down the offer to sleep over or at least stay for dinner, but had insisted on walking Y/N home. The street lights had come on, as Clay started walking him home. It was a rather chilly night, so Clay had given him his jacket, ever the gentleman. He leaned into Clay’s side as they approached his and Apollo’s apartment.

“Y’know…” he started, grabbing Clay’s attention. He stopped and looked at his feet. “I have some people I’d like you to meet… Maybe someday you can?”

“I would love to,” he said. Leaning in, he gave him a soft kiss.

“So Ms. Justice, what do you want to be? I know Clay wants to be an astronaut, and Apollo wants to be a defense attorney,” he asked as they stepped out onto the ground floor and made their way to the cafeteria.

“Y/N is fine, and I’m not sure. I want to go into law, but that’s all I know.” They picked a sandwich shop to grab lunch from, and stood in line. “I was raised by a pretty cool defense attorney, but the defense is nothing without the prosecution. Right?”

“Hm, that is an interesting way to look at it. Well, if you ever want any insight into being a prosecutor, you can usually find me here pretty often.” She gave him a curious look before placing her order. As they headed back, he answered, “I’m a prosecutor. My sister is a robotics engineer here, and Ms. Cykes, Athena’s mom, is my mentor. I study psychology under her.”

“That’s... actually pretty cool,” Y/N said as she closed the elevator's door. “I might take you up on that offer.”

As they stepped out of the elevator, they could hear more voices coming from the lab. It sounded like Clay was being teased over something, and people were laughing along. Y/N opened the door just in time to catch Clay saying, “Oh, ya? What about you and Ms. Cykes?” Before she could announce her presence, a woman with purple hair wrapped her arm around Clay and gave him a noogie. Simon sighed, and Clay looked over.

“Y-Y/N help,” he strained out, as he tried to get away from the woman. This caught everyone’s attention, and they all looked at her. Athena however ran over and took her sandwich from Simon.

Y/N shrugged, “I’m sure you deserve this for some reason or another. Unless you have evidence otherwise, I have no intention of cutting your sentence.”

“Oh, com-Ah!” He yelled as the woman let him go and he fell to the floor.

“So you’re the girl we’ve heard so much about, huh?” The woman asked, everyone but Athena and Simon were staring at her.

“I guess so. My name is Y/N Justice, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

“Justice? You aren’t gonna start yelling are you?” A man with red hair laughed. At this point, Clay had pulled himself off the floor and was beside her with his arm around her waist. “Because you’re brother and Clay are loud enough as it is.”

“Hey!” Clay pouted as he took his sandwich and dragged Y/N to the table where Athena and Simon sat. “I’m starting to think this was a bad idea,” Clay mumbled as he took a bite.

“Clay, are you not going to introduce us?” Clay stopped mid bite.

“Whoops,” he laughed slightly, “Y/N, this is Metis Cykes, she’s a psychologist here.” Metis waved as she fixed Athena’s ponytail. “That’s Aura Blackquill, she’s a robotics engineer and Simon’s big sister.” Aura offered a nod before returning to Ponco and another robot. “And this is Solomon Starbuck, an astronaut and my mentor.” The man with red hair pulled up a seat at the table next to her.

“So,” Solomon started, “I think Aura was on to something earlier.”

“Oh god,” Clay mumbled before burying his face in his hands. “Not again.”

“When are you two getting married?” Y/N’s face turned red and she choked on her drink. She looked at Clay who was avoiding eye contact with her. Normally he took teasing in strides, although it probably hit differently coming from the man he looks up to.

“We already are.” Everyone stopped and looked at her, even Clay had turned to her. She smiled, “At least according to Polly.” It was silent for a few seconds after, and Y/N began to wonder if she’d overstepped.

“Clay,” Solomon said, looking at the boy on her other side, “you better keep her.” She let out a breath she hadn’t known she’d been holding. Clay smiled.

“I plan to,” the blush that had started to fade came back full force, and everyone laughed. She kicked him under the table.

Following that conversation, Y/N met Yuri Cosmos before Athena, Simon, Clay, and her took a tour of the building. This included a few areas that were off limits for civilians. Despite having come here together multiple times with Apollo, Y/N still loved watching Clay talking about everything here. It surprised most people that they’d never had a date here. But they’d only gone on a few dates so far since they were busy with school. They had gone stargazing once, but most of the time they went to a planetarium or the museum.

By the time they got back into the city, it was almost seven. Clay had turned down the offer to sleep over or at least stay for dinner, but had insisted on walking Y/N home. The street lights had come on, as Clay started walking her home. It was a rather chilly night, so Clay had given her his jacket, ever the gentleman. She leaned into Clay’s side as they approached her and Apollo’s apartment.

“Y’know…” she started, grabbing Clay’s attention. She stopped and looked at her feet. “I have some people I’d like you to meet… Maybe someday you can?”

“I would love to,” he said. Leaning in, he gave her a soft kiss.
