Uhh kinda stupid question from someone who's technically new to the fandom despite following the manga for a while, where do ya'll find the official au's and their art? Like the Monster nursery one, I've seen them a lot but where does one find the originals?

There are many places to find the AUs!! Fair warning, some of them like Monster Nursery and Ghost Hotel have multiple parts but they’re still easy to find

The easiest place to find them is through the wiki page. Just google the name of the au + “wiki” like I did in the image above, and the first link should take you to a page with the full au.

There’s dialogue and images that will take you through a Choose Your Own Adventure type story, only the options have already been chosen for you. This is probably my favorite place to read them just because it’s all very easy to follow

The next place to check is the @dbs-scans account here on Tumblr! They post all the official art and aus, and I think they might even post the chapters. To find the au you want you could simply Google the name of it and their account should pop up, or you could search their account directly through Tumblr by clicking on their archive or using the search bar feature on their blog

They include all the images from the au with the text that correlates with them translated below. I believe they usually do the aus in full, which is very helpful if you’re trying to find an au like Ghost Hotel with multiple parts. If they don’t have all the parts tho, you can always refer back to the wiki or go to the next source I’m about to show you

Our next resource is the hanakokun.officialarts account on TikTok. Beware, I don’t think they have all the aus, but I know they’ve posted some of them. They get their translations from the aforementioned dbs-scans account which kind of brings this response full circle lol, it’s a small fandom. They’ll post the images with the dialogue in the captions, and you should be able to find them in order all grouped together. You might have to scroll a bit to find some of the older aus. This is one of my favorite resources for keeping up with official TBHK content tho bcuz they post the new chapters in full and it’s an easy way to find official art

You might also be able to read the aus on Twitter if they’re still up but I don’t have Twitter so I couldn’t tell you for sure. At one point I was trying to find the last part of Ghost Hotel and I deadass had to refer to Google Images, sometimes you gotta scrounge around for yourself. But that shouldn’t happen too often because the resources I gave are very reliable!!

Thank you for this ask, and it’s not stupid at all!! I had to ask my TikTok followers where to find the HKOTO au a few months ago when I got a fic request for it. It took me a minute to figure out where to find all the content, which is standard for joining any fandom that has as wide a range for content as TBHK does. I’ve seen BSD fans have similar issues. Some law of talos facts and info off the top of my head (by someone who's very hyper fixated and wants people to know more about it!!!!)

Apparently some people just didn't know that law of talos was an oc tournament 😭??? I thought that was basic info but I guess not! I'm not counting it being a tournament as a fact but more people not knowing (also some people didn't know unknown person had comics for before and after each animation??? There's literally YouTube videos with both idk what to tell you guys 💀)

Unknown persons entries are the most popular, but the 5th animation is non canon! The canon ending was by the winner Blacklillian but it's currently lost media :( there's a description of it on the lost media page, a few meantions of plot points on the tv tropes (example)

An ask + drawing related to what happened to Karl after on unknown person's tumblr (unknownpsn) we can also gather a tiny bit from the winner announcement post comments, the main point I've noticed is people talking about their disappointment in the lack of action and badly done Karl but praising the more satisfying ending. There was also apparently an epilogue by Blacklillian but that is also currently lost :(

Blacklillians entrees (along with the majority of others) are lost media! Some info can be gathered/interpreted from the lost media page and the tv tropes page (both linked at the bottom along with the intro/winner post for the contest and the wiki) A few entries are up although it's few and far between but I do encourage you to look for them on competitors' deviant art pages (I'll edit this and add list who's is up in a little while) here's a chart of the tournament though!

I use tumblr almost exclusively for dumping art rather than for any type of social activity so I often forget to do this but I’m going to now compile some updates and other links. This has mostly to do with Fire Emblem and not so much FFXIV.

1. Currently I am working on an art book. The page number and contents can’t be announced yet but it’s a collection of my past leo and takumi and some other miscellaneous works, as well as some new pieces. I hope to announce it officially soon, and maybe there are some people interested in it. I tend to forget to promo on tumblr though so it might be better to be up to date on my twitter for this though 😔

2, my Poipiku with more spicy images out there. A lot of these are SFW but I don’t feel comfortable posting them directly. Recently updated with log1 and log2. (2 is 18+ just to be safe) Please heed all warnings and click through only if you enjoy the things mentioned. I appreciate your cooperation. Some important Link Click observations PT 4 (1, 2, 3):

As per usual with these posts, I will be discussing any mild or major observations I and other people have made about the donghua, so spoilers for S1 and the S2 trailers! Any artwork I mention can either be found in the previous observation lists or posted to my blog under like tags.

Of course with the recent release of a new PV for S2 (set to air next year) there's much to be poked and prodded at.

The trailer opens up with a clock just past 12:20.

After the brief shot of Qiao Ling is a funeral scene, presumably for Lu Guang considering how the previous season ended, as well as the first S2 PV. Though fans have tried to speculate that it could've been for Emma or another important character (especially with the picture being partially hidden), that was shot down when recalling the lack of people Lu Guang has been seen close with, which makes the vacant room not all that surprising. It's still up in the air, but it's most likely for Lu Guang.

Another thing fans have pointed out were the types of flowers seen at the funeral. There's no sight of any forget-me-nots (flowers corresponding with Lu Guang's star sign from previously released official art), and the only flowers present are the ones for Cheng Xiaoshi's star sign (Aries).

As was hinted at in the previous PV, Cheng Xiaoshi was arrested for the stabbing and is shown in a jail cell.

Cheng Xiaoshi is seen training with Liu Siwen (the martial arts trainer seen in a flashback in EP8 and prominently in EP5.5), learning to use a knife in a fight. It's unknown if this is before or after the stabbing incident.

It's not shown who Cheng Xiaoshi is speaking to for Captian Xiao's (the police chief) help, but it's likely Chen Bin, who was seen with the chief before in S1.

Liu Min's father is briefly seen on call with someone and demanding someone's cellphone, though it's unclear who.

not me forgetting what his father looked like and having to go back to edit this so people don't think he's a new guy🙃

There are 3 new faces spotted in the trailer: the first man with the buzz cut who's seen fighting Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling, the second glasses wearing man who mentions Liu Min being in the hospital and speaks suspiciously, and the third man who's seen in the new S2 visual and is implied to be the red-eyed villain.

Xiao Li is briefly shown bleeding from his head after an attack, presumably after being hit by a car in the same shot.

Funnily enough, the possibility of him being hit by the car calls back to the storyboards and rough animations the series director previously released (Weibo and Twitter accts linked in PT3), one of which showing someone narrowly avoiding being hit by a car.

Three other animations that were released were one of Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang driving down the road (similar to a storyboard sketch of the same theme and likely teasing the duo's overseas trip), another short one of Lu Guang that feels like it could be for an opening or ending (or simply to appease fans of his), and one of Cheng Xiaoshi being consoled by a ghost or vision (?) of Lu Guang.

Last point about the new PV, the glasses wearing man is the last character to appear, telling us he's someone very important to the plot. It's up to speculation who he is and if he has any connection to the trio.

The flashback Cheng Xiaoshi has of his parents during the earthquake arc partially shows his parents walking away from him, as we all know by now. This probably isn't of importance, but his mom is seen wearing heels while his dad is walking barefoot.

Bilibili's description for S2 gives us some interesting bits of info, such as confirming that the killer is responsible for multiple killings that took place years before Emma's. It also describes the killer as being, "a mysterious youth." We can gather that he's young from the PV and visual, but we have yet to find out how young.

Ramen conspiracy go brrr

The S2 visual, though quite minimalistic, has a great deal of details. One of which being the trio's apparel. While Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling don black suits (likely in lieu of the funeral), Lu Guang is in his usual outfit seen throughout the series.

Mirroring the trio, particularly Cheng Xiaoshi's position, is the red-eyed villain, whose face is finally (and partially) revealed. The colored waves of lines in the background of him are very similar to the depiction of his powers in the new S2 PV.

Aside from picking out his few visible physical characteristics and apparel, one most notable detail is the V on the pocket of his sleeve, and a V sticker near the bottom of his backpack. It could be written off as a design choice, but it could've easily been INPLICK's (series character designer) way of hinting at the character, as a V was also prominently highlighted or singled out in the first S2 visual, as well as the angel and demon official art (at the bottom of the clock). It's unclear if there's more meaning behind the letter outside of mere foreshadowing of a character.

Another interesting thing that was pointed out in the first S2 visual by fans are the colors. On the side where Cheng Xiaoshi stands, aside from the V on the building, we see the streaks of bright colors strongly resemble the colors used representing the villain.

The trio's birthday art and videos have all been released, Lu Guang's being the most recent from Oct 24. Lu Guang's, however, has an ominous easter egg in the form of forget-me-nots grouped at his abdomen where most fans remember him being stabbed at.

I could talk at length about the short series, but as I stated before, the series isn't considered canon or pertinent information. Despite me highlighting the tarot card episode.

Would love to hear your review of Artfol once you've settled in a bit! (Probably wouldn't hurt for me to have a more presentable art archive somewhere either, so I'm curious about the alternatives)

of course!! after using artfol for about a week, i do like it! it's still very new, so i wasn't expecting too much off rip from it but it definitely has some good potential if it gets successful!

putting this under a read more because, as per usual, this got long.

to start: the good stuff! good, robust organization thus far for artists. all the art you post gets automatically put in its own separate tab on your profile called gallery in chronological order and any other art and text posts that you share as well as your own art and text posts get put into another tab called feed. the feed is in chronological order from newest to oldest and it's suuuuper nice being able to have an easy place that contains all your original work people can go to without the hassle of punching in specific tags in a search bar (or inputting them into the website url) and hoping for the best. the feed can then be further organized between posts and art, art submitted to challenges, art submitted to submissions and reshares of other peoples stuff.

you can also make collections for your own gallery, so you can have all your fan art in one collection, ocs in another, etc. this isn't just for personal organization either; your separate collections are displayed under the about section on your profile or, if you've got them, links section! i honestly like this a lot. most of my experience of running an art blog comes from tumblr and getting separate pages set up on your blog, while not horribly difficult, does require a bit of knowledge regarding html and manually inputting website urls where you want the links to go. having all of this steam lined is much better. all of this is relatively easy to figure out as long as you're open to just clicking buttons on the website to see what they do, as far as i could find there's no official tutorial available. you can only have a limited number of these without a premium subscription but i haven't a clue as to what that limit even is.

you can also effectively pin certain art pieces that you're proud of to the top of your gallery by putting them in a featured selection. no idea how to do this yet but i do think this in of itself is neat.

customization is light but they cover the basics well. they've got a nice bio and announcement/secondary heading type feature under your username that you can customize, as well as a nice big space for an icon and a big ol' banner you can put your art in. other than that, you can choose a 'theme color' as artfol calls it but it just determines the color of the bar under your banner as far as i can tell on the website version. they also have a separate area for links that automatically turn into the websites icon you're linking back to.

custom warning tags!!! these fully blur the image and you can put as many words to warn others about the content of the art as you want to clarify what someone's getting into if they click show. at first i was worried i could only put one custom warning on an image but nope, it lets you write multiple warnings on the censored image if the NSFW and Gore filters aren't cutting it for the art.

speaking of which; artfol allows NSFW! in places where online spaces have been getting progressively sanitized because big corporations and google ad sense are the ones who can pay the bills of hosting thousands of images and videos on servers, it's nice to see that.

the challenges! other artists can issue challenges to others to either draw their characters in certain outfits, as certain creatures, drawing a piece of art in your style, etc. think some of the various art memes floating around on twitter, except this time they have their own dedicated category! i haven't done any challenges yet but this seems like a great way to socialize with other artists on artfol, as well as stretch your own art skills.

AI art is explicitly banned.

there is an algorithm however it prioritizes art made recently, so artists of all skill level and mediums get a shot at being seen on the front page which is nice! as far as i can tell, your home feed (which is very similar to tumblr's) is in chronological order and doesn't put in any suggested or recommended posts in the middle of the posts of the people you've chosen to follow. the like and share options are easily accessible and when you share someone else's art, it notifies them by telling them that you've pinged them which is... odd to me, but the website doesn't seem to auto credit them any other way in reshares (in contrast, tumblr keeps the OP's username and icon at the top of their own original post when it gets reblogged). i'm also something of a tumblr hermit so this could be a common reshare (reblog?) format else where for all i know and i'm just griping about nothing.

there is a premium subscription you can sign up for as i mentioned earlier. you get stuff like no ads (which you also get if you've got an adblocker on your browser), more collections can be made, you can upload cover art (icons, i think?) for your collections and the art you post, you can have custom profile theme colors (i guess they let you use the color wheel or a hex code instead of the pre seleced colors they already have?) you get more layouts for your featured art on your profile and you don't have to wait 60 days to change your username. oh, and you can make groups that people can join based around one particular thing, however i haven't touched any groups yet because none of them are all that appealing to me.

honestly, a lot of the premium subscription perks are very inconsequential to the core functionality of artfol which is a huuuuge bonus to the devs in my eyes. they easily could have paywalled commission pages or collections all together and them just giving you some extra customization perks instead shows me that the devs are actually focused on making an artist friendly website and app.

over all, artfol is relatively easy to navigate and upload your art to! the base features are solid however the website does have some downsides.

the bad:

the most egregious thing is that I haven't been able to and currently can't access the content guidelines or privacy policy pages. when I first signed up, artfol gave me a link to what the website claimed was the content guidelines however it just linked me to the news page and that really didn't sit well with me.

because the artfol website is so new, I am going to give them a chance and interpret this in the best faith possible and assume that it seems like this is just an issue of certain pages crashing, seeing as I used to be able to access the News page on artfol and now it's just gone like the other pages. on top of that, it seems like every link except for their twitter, android and apple download links, instagram and discord links at the bottom of the artfol website page is broken in the same way. out of all pages eating themselves the content guidelines and privacy policy ones feel like the worse ones to lose. I haven't been able to access the guidelines from the jump and it's been really frustrating. I just got done sending an e-mail to their contact e-mail, so hopefully something good comes from that. in the mean time i've also downloaded the app to try to see if i can find the guidelines and privacy policy on there. I've noticed people complaining about crashing pages in the mobile app reviews so hopefully this is just a case of a website page accidentally eating itself and it's just very unfortunate coincidence that it happens to be some very important pages affected by the crashes.

other than that, the other downsides are that the website takes like a minute and a half to load, clicking on a censored image to view it on your home feed takes you to the individual post and has you un-censor it there rather than directly from your home feed and some features are currently only available to mobile accounts such as commissions tabs, however i'm sure that will eventually be made available to the website version as well in due time. also, while uploading art, not including the custom censor tag or NSFW or gore filters, you can only put 5 tags on your art. these are all only minor annoyances and i'm sure they'll eventually be fixed in upcoming patches.

over all: asides from some concerning hiccups with missing pages, artfol seems very promising for a relatively new, bare bones website! the developers have very much taken a mobile app first, website later approach which at least to me isn't the end of the world, seeing how the website is already doing okay all things considered. the community seems nice and i'm planning on trying out some challenges soon to get more experience using it!

Hello, February! You'd think that "Love Season" was over? Sure, Valentine's Day in 2023 has officially a rear view on our calendar mirror, but there's one couple that its not featured in my "Wheel of Love" artwork, and that's Mocho & Riya!

• That's right, FINALLY, Mocho (PrinckleMinckle's rabbit OC) returns with his beloved girlfriend Riya Speedster after a long year of absence! Why? Because the owner of that OC PrinckleMinckle (my fellow Filipina artist) chatted with me on Tumblr, and we're having a great time. Heck, she showed her active OCs (Mocho & Momo) to me in a revamped from Jun 2022. I would like to show her Jun 2022 artwork, but she rather wants it to go private like I am. I could agree with that.

I've been busy with life and work, working on a lot of art projects.

I want to address some people on Kick and talk about what kind of person they really are.

When I met these people on Kick, I was already an affiliate on the platform. Someone named "Kevin," as he is an admin.

The issue came about when my VODs were not being posted after around 13 hours. So, I decided to open a ticket on the official Kick Discord server.

I explained the problem to Kevin, and he accepted my ticket. He told me that he would enable VODs for me early, even though I hadn't reached 75 followers yet. Kevin probably thought I would reach the required number quickly since I stream for more than 5 hours. 13 hours now that vod it delete dual expired time.

After that, I started networking with kick community on discord.

One of them in this circle of people was "LaurenShayala," who was the first to tag me on their Discord server.

We were discussing reporting anyone on the Hot Tube section who breaks the terms of service. LaurenShayala was worried that I might report her since her content involves twerking for subscribers, and she often has explicit content. She was also one of the first to follow me on the platform. You can verify this by searching my name on Discord.

I hope this clarifies things. As you can see, during the time and date mentioned in that message, I was already an affiliate. From my perspective, it seems like she is a manipulative liar, given her behavior of deleting her VODs. This action makes sense since people would undoubtedly find incriminating evidence linking those dates and times together. Therefore, every time she twerks for subscribers now, she promptly deletes her VODs because she knows it goes against the platform's terms of service.

I have already spoken with a lot of people who used to drop into her stream regularly, but they don't go there anymore because they have seen what I have seen. She constantly social climbs, and when I was harassed, she quickly jumped on a podcast without even planning beforehand or considering the situation.

I called her out on Twitter because she is such a phony person. She consistently attacks people, tagging Trainwreck and Eddie, but the truth is, she harassed Eddie for months until he felt compelled to follow her. She constantly tags them and behaves like a sycophant, just like her group of friends. I will address her more down below. the blog I got by name in order. I already air out those who harassed me. on here.

Please when you go below blog there is where harassment took place. You don't fucking need to raid someone to harass someone but send your community throws my stream is harassing too. They need to search the dictionary. The video is age-restricted click "watch on Youtube" and click that it will take you to the youtube video.

Furthermore, none of these people got verified through regular means. Instead, they either obtained verification by befriending admins or vouching for each other on Discord. there used to be vouching discord channel only open for verified people.

The fact is, some people publicly revealed that these individuals are asking for vouchers in their Discord DMs to get verified. They called me entitled when, in reality, I was the only one being outspoken and expressing my opinion among them. I mentioned that it seems like some of them might be using view bots to attack legitimate streamers, and those who got verified through vouching shouldn't have received it that way. Because they didn't earn it naturally.

My comments seemed to have hit a nerve, as they took them as a personal attack, which suggests they might be engaged in such practices. Their reaction strongly indicates that my observations hit close to the truth, and they may be involved in seeking vouchers for verification in an inappropriate manner.

Igypc: She pretends on Discord as if she has a different persona than what she portrays on this platform.

Here are more receipts. I sent her the evidence, and later, she went back on her words without these boys actually showing her any proof. However, I have posted on my blog all the screenshots from our DMs, which clearly show that I never harassed or attacked them in any way.

What I find so amusing is how this girl can sit in front of a Discord call next to Sponge after what she has told me about him. With a straight face. These people are all fake and two-faced; they talk about each other behind their backs, and later, they pretend to be friends.

he claimed he was nobody and still got verified. Additionally, he was suspected of botting since he is friends with people who have coding She was the one who said this about her "friends" not me. I hope this shows more real true colors of who they are.

In this video, there is a group of friends who send direct messages to each other, obviously supporting one another. There seems to be no impartial party within the group.

They say I delete shit. I have not deleted shit you can see I have posted every dm between us.

They were being coached by Sergio and other admins. I was informed by a verified kick streamer that there was a meeting where the admins instructed them on what to say. Notice how this group of people quickly started talking about me behind my back through direct messages. Breezyy and Stormpoint were new to the platform, and now they suddenly claim to know me. I met Breezyy through another Twitch stream, and it seems like she befriends anyone who is currently trending or has clout. I never saw her in igypc's Twitch chat before, but suddenly, she was all friendly and supportive when Trainwreck and Eddie were involved, capitalizing on their clout. Interestingly, these so-called friends tend to appear only when there's clout involved; I haven't seen her in Cau7ion's Twitch chat anymore because she doesn't see much clout there.

It's funny this time shit was going their way right. being highly favored by kick staff cuz of all this dick riding. now present day.

Now kick just tired of their bullshit. And kick getting strict by the day. rules get added. and not supporting these people whom viewbotting and got boosted. Now they all crying.

Ten years.

The first ever Gruvia Week was held in 2013. It is now 2023. Meaning, this is the 11th edition/Gruvia Week... but 10 years have passed since the creation of this blog and beloved event that’s been held on the exact same dates since the beginning (April 1st - April 7th). That’s right, the event date has never changed, never held early, nor late. To keep it this consistent and for so long is truly an accomplishment.

Thank you to all the wonderful fans that have kept this event alive for so long. It has been my pleasure to host this celebration for the last 10 years, and it’s because of you that I do so. All the dedicated Gruvia lovers deserve this. The fandom has changed a lot as time went on. People come and go. However, most notably, we have grown in more ways than one. Likewise, Gray and Juvia have gone through a tremendous amount of development in the last decade. They have confirmed mutual romantic love and a son that we have yet to meet in earthland, but still very much canon in the manga and drawn by the author (Hiro Mashima) of his own accord on multiple occasions. Despite this, we are still waiting for the day they “officially” get together. The setup and foreshadowing is there... He wants it, so Gray, confess to Juvia soon!

Kamatani Yuhki announced recently on their Twitter that a new company is holding an online kuji (lottery) for official Nabari goods! It's rare to see something like this come out so long after a series ends, and I want as many people as possible to get the chance to participate. (According to the site's Q&A, you can register through a third-party company to have prizes shipped internationally, though I haven't tried this myself.)

All the prizes are random, and use official manga/promotional art—prints, badges, magnets, and so on—focusing on a variety of characters.

The kuji runs from today (August 19th, Japan time) through September 30th, 2022. You see what you've won right away after purchasing, but the items themselves won't be shipped till late December, and international shipping will probably cause further delays.

Walthrough: Reposting your old FFNet fics to Ao3

In light of recent rumors that FanFiction.Net might be receiving little/no ongoing support, and could suddenly disappear one day with very little warning, I wanted to offer a resource that might help preserve another fic or two. Just in case.

I'm already keeping a private collection of favorite fics from FFN that I can't bear to lose, but this tutorial isn't for saving other folks' fic. Instead, this tutorial is for people who might want to republish their own fic to Ao3 in a streamlined, relatively painless way.

Using these steps, I was able to upload an entire 16-chapter fic, with all the correct original formatting and without doing any fussy HTML editing, in about an hour. (And that was while making up the steps as I went along!)

What you'll need:

A link to your old FFNet account URL OR the those of the fics you want to save (no login necessary)

Access to a working Ao3 account

A web browser, permission to download zipped HTML files, and an unzipper (most computers have these by default)

How to save your fic for posterity:

Copy the link to the first chapter of the fic on FFN that you want to save. (Right-clicking the title of the fic on your profile and choosing "Copy Link" will do this.)

Go to https://fichub.net/ and paste in the URL. Press Export, then click "Download as zipped HTML." This saves your entire fic at once, no matter how many chapters, with formatting intact. Everyone thank the team who made this tool, because it's amazing.

Navigate to your downloads (or click on the pop-up that'll probably appear) and open the zipped HTML file. It will probably open in your default browser on its own, but you might need to tell it to open by right-clicking the unzipped file and choosing the desired browser. The resulting file should have all the chapters of the fic laid out one after another, with clear breaks between each chapter and the original HTML formatting (including section breaks).

Post a "New Work" in Ao3. (Can't import with FFNet, sadly, which is why this tutorial exists.) Add the title, relevant tags, and summary. (I used my FFNet summary with a note that the fic is crossposted.) Backdate the fic if desired by choosing a publishing date from around the time the fic was written.

Here's the magic part: Switch to Rich Text Mode in the "Work Text" field, then copy-paste the text from your first chapter into the Rich Text Mode window. (Note: You may see the stray space appear around italicized/bolded text, and an extra line break tends to appear between section breaks. Otherwise, though, the formatting is generally very well preserved.)

Optional detail: Hit "Preview," then "Save Draft," then "Add Chapter" to avoid posting any of your chapters till you have them all set up and ready to go.

Side note 1: Don't put an endnote on the end of your Chapter 1. Or if you do, go add a chapter 2 first, and then go back to add a chapter 1 endnote. Otherwise it'll end up at the end of your fic instead. It's a fixable outcome, but an annoying one.

Side note 2: If you use a pseud to post, you'll need to be careful to select the correct pseud for each chapter you upload, or you'll end up being listed as the author twice, once under each pseud you selected. If you notice this happening, it's because you've missed switching one in one or more chapters. This is fixable by checking the author listed under each chapter heading using the "Entire Work" button and keyword searching the username you're trying to get rid of.

While I didn't find a way to post all chapters at once, you can do it pretty quickly in the right order, without skipping, by doing the following steps in a loop:

Press "Entire work" at the top of the page.

Use your browser's "Find in page" function for the text "post chapter".

Hitting the "Post Chapter" button that appears.

Just continue the loop until there's no more "Post Chapter" buttons.

Once your chapters are all uploaded, you're done! Congratulations.

A final note

I know that this latest rumor might be blowing certain hints of FFNet's siterunners' inactivity out of proportion. I know that Ao3 isn't everyone's favorite (though I don't agree with most of those people). And I know, most of all, that some folks would rather some of their older fics not see the light of day anymore, for whatever reason.

But look. I'm a trans guy who used to be a teenage girl who (enthusiastically) wrote Twilight/Doctor Who crossover fanfic. I get it, and yet I'm still managing to stun the part of me that cringes long enough to preserve my stuff, because I think that fic should survive whenever possible.

There are options to help make the cringe factor more manageable. Use a pseud for your older stuff (like me), or to minimize any connection to your current account, you can use the Anonymous collection or the Orphan Work function as soon as you're done posting. Do whatever you need to feel comfortable.

But remember that every creative work is a victory just for existing. Please, if you can, find it in your heart (and your schedule) to preserve your work. Past!you worked hard on it, after all. And besides, you never know who might stumble across it someday exactly when they need it.

(PS: Please let me know about any other FFN preservation efforts, by the way! Hopefully this is all blown out of proportion, but you really can never be too careful.)

“saLarry” and ship problems in the sally face fandom.

I know I’m gonna get alot of hate on this post but this has to be said.

Please read until the end.

There has been alot and alot of fans in the sally face fandom who are against the idea of shipping sal and larry together

Claiming that they are “brothers”

No. They are not.

People can ship whoever they want without having anyone annoying them and their art/edits or whatever they make about the ship.

As long as they’re not offending anyone, and as long as the ship isn’t illegal or disgusting For example : adult x kid

If you don’t like the ship that’s completely understandable. Just don’t go to people’s art and posts and spread negative comments or say rude stuff just because they ship something you don’t like.

Let’s talk abot saLarry for a moment shall we?

Sal and larry are NOT brothers.

They’re not related by blood, nor were they raised together by the same parents

Sal’s father and larry’s mother ( henry and lisa ) married each other when sal and larry were 17-22.

Which means that they were technically ADULTS when their parents married each other. They shouldn’t be responsible for their individual parent’s relationship especially if they were already dating beforehand. They shouldn’t feel the need to act like “brothers” just because their parents decided to get together when they were adults!

Not to mention that sal and larry did not get raised by the same people or legally adopted by the other’s parent.

So technically they have no sibling relationship between them whatsoever. Either it was blood relation / adoption / or raised under the same roof.

Not to mention that steve gabry ( the creator of the game : sally face ) said that he has no problem at all with any ship in the game. as long as it’s appropriate. And he doesn’t mind people shipping saLarry together. Because they are not real brothers.

So basically there’s nothing wrong with shipping them at all.

No one has the right to write any negative comments or spread any negative energy in the shipper’s posts or arts or whatsoever.

As long as the shipper isn’t problematic and didn’t give you any harm. Respect them and their work.

If you don’t like the ship or the content they’re posting, simply unfollow them, block them, or click “not interested”. This way you’ll not see any content you don’t like to see and on the other hand, the creator will have the freedom to post and ship whoever they want without having anyone judging them for no reason.

How to filter what you want to see in the LLD Super Topic (on mobile devices only - Chinese version of Weibo). You can install both Weibo and Weibo INTL on your device!

*Chinese fandom is very strict about fixed pairings, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. Recently, a lot of antis (anti-LLD) and corporations are also trying to tear down Word of Honor and LLD’s popularity for their own agendas by sharing a lot of Advance Bravely (?) related stuff. They’re trying to kill cp fans’ enthusiasm by turning them off with - hey look your gong is also a shou. Do not post anything like this there ok? Don’t let them win! Thx. 

You may also see these warnings (please respect the content “owners” requirements): 禁二传: Forbidden to download and repost on any other site (as if it’s yours) without permission. Yes this includes downloading it and posting it to Twitter, even if you post the weibo account owner’s name. Take a screenshot and link them to the content owner’s weibo or bilibili page. 禁二改二传: Forbidden to download to use in your own “creations”, such as compilation videos. Also forbidden to download and repost on any other site (as if it’s yours) without permission 

In CN fandom, the warnings and watermarks are more important than the medium being fan fic, fan art, leaked videos, fan vids etc.

If you respect fan artists requests to not have their work reposted without consent, then you should also respect these content uploaders’ “rights” if they specify that you shouldn’t re-upload it elsewhere (especially without a link). Sometimes they have paid thousands of dollars for the videos or photos, sometimes these are acquired through their connections.
