the longest? probably the sequel/companion fic to O Overcoat, which will occur in parallel but follow Kyouka instead. I wrote a few hundred words for it around a year ago, but my draft got tragically lost to the void, and I just haven't gathered the motivation to write again :/

Everyone has something to say about Xianyun: "That tall woman with the updone hair," "that bespectacled artisan," or perhaps "that talkative new neighbor." They all say different things, but together they paint a picture of the impression she leaves — of someone who's witty, chatty, warm-hearted, and easy to get along with.

But that's not how Xianyun sees herself. In her own eyes, she's inarticulate, reserved, and unyieldingly proud. Aside from her mastery of mechanics and knack for making all kinds of little trinkets, it's an entirely different image from how others would describe her.

Some curious individuals, seeing how her mannerisms and bearing set her apart from ordinary folk, are convinced that she's a heroine — so they go around trying to uncover her heroic backstory and whether she goes by any other names.

Ask the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's consultant, and with a wave of his hand, he'd say: "Xianyun? We're not well acquainted, but going by her name, she sounds like a good person."

Ask Madame Ping from Yujing Terrace, and she'd nod and reply: "Xian... Oh, Xianyun? We've crossed paths, yes... She's a good person, you know. Once you've met, you'll find that your days seem to go by much more smoothly."

Ask Ganyu, and she'd nod too: "She is a heroine, but a very discreet one — hence why she's living incognito in Liyue Harbor."

Ask Shenhe, and she'd respond pensively: "Xianyun... Of course, she's a master. Whatever you do, you must not offend her."

As it turns out, such speculations are not wrong. There's far more to Xianyun than meets the eye, but those who know the full story are few indeed. If someone was to address her as "Cloud Retainer"... Well, people would know her instantly, and you'd hear a torrent of praise flow her way: "Who doesn't know Cloud Retainer? Noble, brave, loyal, and wise... A most worthy friend if ever there was one!"

So try asking Xianyun herself then: "Are you a heroine? Surely you're not... an adeptus?"

You catch the new resident just as she's working on her latest invention, her pride and joy — what she calls an "Exquisite Mini Broth Pot." She's too absorbed to take the question seriously, so she simply waves it off as a load of old nonsense and tells you not to bother her while she's busy.

As for what exactly an Exquisite Mini Broth Pot is... No one really knows, other than having been told that it brings out flavors much better than a regular soup pot. Likewise, none would know how profoundly it might impact Liyue Harbor's future gastronomic development. Suffice to say — if Xianyun says it'll be impressive, it'll be impressive alright.

The Plague Approaches! | Looking into The Awakening of White Apathy Update for CRK!

The Pale Ailment looks to be a sickness that’s coming from a storm that had been carried over from Beast Yeast. Is this natural for that continent or is Mystic Flour Cookie trying to bait Dark Cacao Cookie into heading over there to face her?

Is that Mystic Flour Cookie’s actual body in there? Butter Roll may have worked for nothing, lol.

THERE SHE IS! PLAYABLE MYSTIC FLOUR! She’s a Healing class too, pretty ironic for a cookie that’s currently causing a plague. The Healing class is making a comeback with this one.

She also appears to have this quirk where her background and such gradually change the more you promote her.

Cloud Haetae Cookie! I thought for sure they’d be a Special rarity cookie, but I guess not. The Peach Blossom cookie doesn’t seem to be present in this trailer, she’s for part 2 then.

Stormbringer Cookie’s costume has been dipped in butter.

New element? The cookie choice for Darkness is a bit odd, I can understand cookies like Licorice or Dark Choco, but Caramel and Crunchy Chip?

You shake your head vigorously, refusing her request as you try to keep the grip on your weapon steady, stepping back from the slowly approaching Beast cookie.

“No, leave…them alone!”

Dark Cacao Cookie was on one knee, the shaking had gotten bad for him, he couldn’t maintain his balance.

“There’s no need for violence, Y/N. I wouldn’t burden you with such a fight. Don’t you want to just go home?”

No, you had come this far with Dark Cacao Cookie, you were going to see this until the end, with her defeated.

The white fog started to form all around you, obscuring you from view to Dark Cacao Cookie.!

“Y/N Cookie…NO!”

He struggled what strength he had and hurried into the fog.

“Why do you continue like this?”

Mystic Flour Cookie appeared before Dark Cacao Cookie, a dazed Y/N Cookie in her lap.

“Why do you persist?”

“Wouldn’t be better to just crumble away like the rest?”

“No, I will cut down any danger to the Dark Cacao Kingdom and to those I hold dear! Put them down!”

Dark Cacao Cookie refused, only pointing his sword at Mystic Flour Cookie.

Hanyang Studio officially updates on Wuju Bakery’s Release Date

🛸 Wuju Bakery’s (WB) release date is being pushed back to the second half of the year

🛸 WB will consist of eight episodes with a running time of 50-minutes each

🛸 This is no longer a KBL web drama, but rather is now a regular drama

🛸 There’s no confirmed platform that WB will air on yet

🛸 The release of all promotional material is also pushed back as well

🛸 CGI is taking the longest amount of time, causing the release schedule to be pushed back.

On the bright side, Wuju Bakery will be the first KBL with a full-length drama run time. Prior to this, I believe The Eighth Sense had been the longest KBL with a 36-minute per episode average.

You were so used to be alone at night, that the first kiss on your neck, stirred you from your sleep.

A gasp escaped your lips as more kisses were trailing along your throat to reach your chin.

"Mh, morning my sweet" Astarion's voice was low, as he resumed his trail of kisses to reach your cheek.

With one arm he kept you close to him, with the other hand he tilted your head to his so when he'd be done, he'd be able to look at that content smile on your lips.

The memories of the night before flooded your mind as you recalled how softly he kissed you, how peaceful you felt.

You placed a tender kiss on his forehead, warmth spreading in your chest at your gesture that was so natural for you.

"I left a message for Wyll, letting him know you were not feeling well" He caressed one of your cheeks. "You need some rest after all" He murmured.

"I feel guilty for taking a day off though" You pouted, although you felt the guilt going up, deep down you knew you were yearning so much for touch that you were glad he had this idea.

"No need to, my sweet" He kissed your cheek gently. "Moreover, after last night I couldnʼt help but wish we had more time like this" He smiled as he closed his eyes, you couldn't tell, but he inhaled and in doing so he basked in your warmth again.

"Mh, same" your voice came out as a shaky whisper, as you curled yourself closer to him. His arms were welcoming as he leaned in, nuzzling his nose in your neck.

You both hummed for a moment as you realized you didn't have to put too much effort into looking for a comfortable way to nestle in each other. It was like the curves of your very body were molded from his.

“Letʼs just pretend for a few hoursˮ His voice echoed in your mind as you allowed your muscles to let go.

“Iʼll be here pretending until you need me to, cause at the end of the day we both deserve to feel lovedˮ

"May I kiss you?" He was merely inches away, his nose barely touching yours as he waited for your answer.

Your cheeks igniting just at the thought, but catching fire as he'd tilt your chin before catching your lips in a yearning kiss. Like he had to endure decades without your lips against his, like he belonged to you only, and you to him.

"Mine" He'd mumble against you, your lips still lost within each other's, as you drank the word down your throat like ambrosia.

“Letʼs pretend we are in loveˮ

He'd rest his forehead against yours, his breath still itching as you just leaned into each other.

You wished you could pretend like this every night, even every second if you had the chance, still ignoring the pit in your stomach, ready to swallow you whole when you least expected it.

Heʼd trace your skin ever so softly. His fingers slowly made it lower and lower down your spine until they reached your hips, and then your thighs. He grabbed your flesh firmly, pulling you closer to him, your chest hitting in the middle as he guided your legs around him, and left a soft kiss to your throat.

“No one could compare to youˮ He murmured as heʼd place innocent kisses along your neck, your cheeks, your forehead till he was again lost with your lips. It was all a lie and yet you couldnʼt stop the voice in your head that whispered ‘kiss me againʼ, ‘just once moreʼ, and you were not sure if that was all in your head, or they came almost as a moan from your velvet lips, and he obliged. Neck, temples, ears, jaw, clavicles, any exposed skin was met with his cold kisses as they burned away the pit in your stomach. The citrusy taste of bergamot clouded all your senses as for a moment, you allowed your brain to forget all about loneliness.

looks like the 2 year mark since I last updated Clouds was yesterday, which means it's time to officially call it abandoned and anonymize it (because I really just don't like it :/). sincerest apologies to the Clouds fans out there. honestly, if you like the idea and want to see more, I give you full permission to write whatever you want inspired by it. if you need more context for the au, ask me, and I'll try to see if I can remember what I had planned. I'll also probably upload my entire unfinished chapter 5 draft on Tumblr, but it won't be very good because it's a DRAFT and I haven't touched it since 2021. anyway yeah. this is the last cloud update for the rest of forever
