Will and Hannibal are both so lonely, but I don’t think Hannibal realized how lonely he was until after he met Will. Hannibal knew he was alone, but never felt lonely. Meeting Will exposed all the cracks and gaps and empty spaces within him, all the places yearning for someone to understand him, see him, love him. Someone to really get inside, past all the layers, and accept him. Will filled in all those hollow spaces Hannibal didn’t even know he had. Will made him feel complete, nourished, whole. Will’s absence exposed the little wound inside Hannibal, forcing him to feel it all, feel lonely. What he thought was a scar was a mere scab holding all that hurt back like a weak dam, and Will peeled it away. and without Will, Hannibal was bleeding, weeping, and lonely. They are blurred, fluid and filling in and cradling all the pieces of the other they were afraid to share with anyone else. There is no surviving without the other, for they could never be truly complete again.

it would be really nice if ppl harping on transmascs for talking abt anti-transmasculinity (or even, gasp, giving a name to it!) actually listened to the experiences of transmascs of color (particularly Black transmascs), disabled transmascs, fat transmascs, etc. etc. instead of centering the hypothetical thin, white, cis-passing able-bodied trans man they have in their head who they use as the benchmark for all transmasc experience. any of the beliefs about how transmascs aren’t targeted as much, aren’t hated by terfs, face less violence, aren’t treated as predators, are simply “invisible” by default (rather than being deliberately erased and buried), etc wouldn’t be happening if people just listened to transmascs saying over and over again that yes, we do experience these things, yes, these harms do happen to us. you wouldn’t believe we don’t face those things if you listened to us.

anti-transmasculinity is a whole and unique experience, multifaceted and intersectional, and it involves the continued and deliberate erasure of transmasc folks and our struggles and the violence we face, and the lumping in of violence against us as “violence against women.” anti-transmasculinity is not a counter or an “opposite” to transmisogyny; they are interconnected struggles — transfem & transmasc are not opposites! the existence of anti-transmasculinity does not mean that transmascs have it “worse” or “better” — honestly, judging oppression by such metrics is unproductive and unhelpful. we have more to gain from engaging with each other and understanding how our experiences mutually connect with one another.

HELLO AGAIN FRIENDS \OUO/ ive been so sick for the latter half of january (had a cold which then turned into a frighteningly swollen face and throat, a trip to urgent care, and ultimately "infected lymph nodes" ...my body is dramatic 😭 ) it COMPLETELY bonked up my art n writing plans for this month!

PLUS I ENDED UP SPENDING MY BDAY IN BED MOSTLY 😭 (the 24th!!)

SO all the plans shall be moved to next month and onward and im calling january a practice- 2024 STARTS IN FEB LMAO

ive got so much stuff PLANNED i hope u guys look forward to it! >;o)

you tell miya atsumu your favourite movies / singers / bands etc. & he stupidly blurts out “yer kiddin’? how did ya know they’re ma favourite too?” because you looked so pretty gushing about it he couldn’t help himself. so now he’s spending every night up till 3am watching your fave franchise on repeat before he’s basically studying discography and playlists on spotify, listening to them in the gym and on his way to practice — even if it means he’ll get complaints from his teammates for missing a few serves and some shoddy sets. he doesn’t mind tho, because even though it may have been a tiny little lie, the way you smiled up at him when he said it was even prettier.
