I love Fight for You. I love these two. I love that they are color-coded boys in love. I love that they are playing gay chicken. I love that the entirety of episode six was just them thirsting over each other. I LOVE IT!

Da Hei is looking disrespectfully at Xiao Bai's Adam's apple as he reverses.

And I love it! Especially because even though Da Hei is still dark and Xiao Bai is still light, they are blending each other's colors into their outfits.

And I love that Da Hei gets to appreciate when his man takes of his tie after a long day, unbuttons his shirt to expose a little of his chest, and rolls up his sleeves so we can see his arm veins.

Yeah, we know buddy. Guys are hot when they work all day and come home to you practically begging for you to rub their . . . neck.

But then Da Hei gets his revenge by giving Xiao Bai a taste of his own medicine.

But what I love the most is how soft these two are with each other even when they are upset.

Xiao Bai is beautiful, and Da Hei touches him with a gentleness reserved for fawns just so he doesn't scare him.

So when Xiao Bai imagines more happening, he is also gentle with Da Hei, first touching his eyebrow, then his nose, which slowly leads him to his mouth.

And even in his imagination, Da Hei kisses EACH ONE of his knuckles softly.

Which ends with a light kiss on his thumb!

This dream sequence is giving me everything!

But the problem is it's all just a dream.

So now Da Hei is standing outside the door by himself saying that he wasn't joking when he asked Xiao Bai if he wanted to be with him, and Xiao Bai is in the room getting darker in his blue as he is realizing how his feelings for Da Hei are about to mess up the entire mission.

He might be miserable, but like Da Hei, I'm living my best life because this show is favorite kind of color-coded drug.

Because Xiao Bai is so deep into this that now both of the most important people in Da Hei's life fully approve of him being in a relationship with another man and show it through the pink coloring as they speak to him.

They are a PFLAG family now!

Just something I was thinking about today - I really love the different Trainer Classes out there, & have even invented a couple (might share in the future!) I feel like it adds to the character & to the RP part of RPG. >u<

If you didn’t know, Pokémon trainers can have different classes depending on a lot of things - occupation, Type preference, battle strategies, etc. Every region has their own set in the form of NPC’s you battle along the way. Some are gendered, but I think it very easy to just change it to suit your trainer’s identity, or just reimagine it! 🩵

If your trainer(s) have one, please comment / reblog! It’d be fun to know if I’m not the only one who has a class other than just “Pokémon Trainer” lol. XD

The little bow of reflection and smile Ray makes as he briefly soaks in the last morning Emma and Norman will be able to carry out their routine as usual knowing the horror they'll endure before night's end.

rewatching sk8 the infinity and one thing that I missed the first time around is just how carefully Adam curates his actions in his pursuit of Langa. every detail in what he does is carefully tailored to groom and isolate Langa further. and a major example of that is when Adam challenges Reki to their second race.

he does it as a direct respond to watching Langa and Reki make up on his fucking spy cameras. he doesn’t like that Langa repaired that friendship. He wanted him to stay isolated and lost. And he designs his challenge to Reki to sever that relationship again.

He challenges Reki in a note written in English. That’s not Reki’s native language, and it’s not Adam’s either. And it’s not one either of them are shown to be proficient in. It’s Langa’s native language. Langa has to translate it for Reki. Even though the challenge is to Reki, the entire thing is demonstrably for Langa’s sake.

The note calls Reki the third wheel. He makes Langa explain that Reki’s the unwanted, unneeded addition that Adam wants to cull. And Adam doesn’t even try to hide that that’s what’s this is about, because he says it. The race is about to start, and he tells Reki that he’s doing this so that Reki ends up screaming in a pile of pain, and he wants Langa to see it.

If he had actually managed to injure Reki the way he planned, that would have potentially isolated Langa again the way he wanted to. If you love anyone but me, I’ll put them in the hospital. Safer for everyone else if you’re alone.

Because he’s an abuser that wants to be the only one in Langa’s world. So he’ll hurt everyone Langa loves, and he’ll make sure Langa knows it was about him, right down to what language he uses.

Now that I've hit you with several other lists to look through, I'm going to basically give you a sneak peek into this year's running list for my Reading the (Visual) Rainbow Awards because these are some of the shows that have given me the most satisfying color coding so far.

Honorable Mention: The Next Prince

It's not over yet, so everything could go downhill but right now, it's living up to the Domundi standard of color coding for a reason, so if it continues, the visual journey will be worth it!

Secrets Happened on the litchi Island

China came out of nowhere this past year and decided to hurt all my feelings with the color coding in this one. I was banking all my hopes on the colors telling me this one would get a happy ending, and it paid off but not without putting me through the wringer and making me cry. Therefore, I loved it.

The Boy Next World

I finally watched a MAME show live, and that chick got me! Hook, line, and sinker. This is only the third MAME show I've ever watched, and it's easily my favorite because that lighting department was working overtime showing us how much light and warmth one person can bring to someone else's dark and cold world.

When It Rains, It Pours

This will probably be my favorite show this year, and I've rewatched it almost every single week since it was released, so I have a bias, but it's also one of the best portrayals of balance in this year's grouping of shows. The colors reinforced the relationship between the characters so well, which made it even more pleasing to watch.

Secret Relationships

WTF happened with Korean BL?! Did it finally look at its het shows with all their toxic characters and decided to up the ante? This series gave me something different and showed the negatives of each color with ease, so I was rooting for all of them, yet also for none of them, and I'm still sitting here asking for a poly rainbow.

Perfect 10 Liners x Fourever You

Both shows are clumped together because Director New was behind them and his crew nailed the color coding for each show. Every character was perfectly aligned with the color they were coded as and it was delightful to witness such flawless color coding. These two are going to be the stiffest competition this year.
