Took A while more than I hoped, but here are the details in team 7's Students AU designs. (Without Sai bc his design was the last and mostly made to match these)

Something about older Jason looking at the child version of himself, the innocent victim, and feeling the need to defend and avenge him the way no one else will. They'll call him reckless and try to pin the blame for his death on some unique failure of his personality, the problem isn't Robin the problem is he was just a bad fit for Robin! And then older Jason coming back to life and spits on their twisted grief. Fuck you, that innocent child deserved more. You took his memory and ruined it to make yourselves feel better. If no one will give him justice then Jason will take it himself no matter who he has to kill to get there. It's the only way he can move forward.
Something about older Cass looking at this child version of herself, this innocent who has no idea what she was doing when she was tricked into killing, and finding her irredeemable. She will forgive everyone for everything if they need a second chance but she cannot forgive that innocent child. She spends ten years wanting that child to die for their sin, a standard she holds no one else to. And in the end she does have to die. She can never forgive that child until the price has been paid and the guilty, tormented, suicidal mess of a girl is dead and never coming back. Only then can Cass live on. Only then can she smile without feeling the weight of her kill on her back. If no one will give that child the justice they deserve then she will have to do it herself. It's the only way she can move forward.

There's something in the fact that Stan, the unwanted and "extra" twin, the one who Filbrick was disappointed in and who he disowned, was also the one to inherit so much from his father.
It's his daily attire, both the suit and the fez, his jokes, his ways of treating children and "teaching" them, even his name, really. Because "Stan" was the nickname their father originally used for both of the twins. Ford chose to stop using it, Stan didn't.
And it's also interesting that most of these things were originally meant for Ford, who didn't have much of an appreciation for them. And that's what I'm fascinated with: the "favourite", the golden child, the pride of the family, didn't seem to care that much for his father, or at least clearly not as much as Stan, the disappointment and the outcast, did.

someone coming down with a cold in the nose. it's tickly and runny and prickly and blocked and they just can't stop sneezing.
not going to work is simply out of the question, and they must attend to all their duties. they do them dripping into a handkerchief or a series of tissues, with big wet sniffs and a lot of sneezes.
a cold in the nose develops into a cold in the head. their head is fuzzy and they can't quite think clearly. their ears are blocked, and their voice becomes deeper, hoarse and husky. their mouth hangs open, and their still-constant sneezes turn from explosions of spray into expulsions of persistent, gluey snot.
the cold in the head develops into a cold in the head and chest, and a thick, productive cough that rattles their chest and leaves them feeling battered, like their lungs are lined with frost and filling with snot. the sinus infection that had been brewing kicks in full force; the mess is endless and miserable. they are breathing completely through their mouth, but snot bubbles form in their hypersensitive, deep red nostrils and slide down their red philtrum to their panting, open mouth. still, they are dragging themselves to work.
the cold in the head and chest develops into a cold in their entire body. they're exhausted and achy and shivery. their sneezes have endless thick snot but are also exploding in clouds of spray again. their fever-glassy eyes try to close, but they force them back open. they just want to lie down and go to sleep, and it's getting more tempting by the minute.

I inflict on you my modern dragodile brainrot
Random thoughts that I didn’t have energy to draw
- this is the only “safe” timeline from the canon event (divorce) ie they never fell out (their best selves)
- croc would’ve killed at rugby (I base pre transition croc off of a American rugby player Ilona Maher, she’s amazing fr)
- dragon is the singer/ front man of the punk rock band revolutionary army or the “revs”
- croc runs baroque works a company that deals with property development
- everyone at baroque works thought croc was a widower for like the longest time (it’s seriously embarrassing)
- croc 100% stares at the billboard whenever he misses his husband is bored
- dragons music is like des rocs mixed with falling in reverse (one day i animate bad girls club)
- they have matching tattoos (for luffy)
While they are both very cool they immediately become massive losers whenever within 10 ft of Luffy
Some examples
Crocodile losing his reading glasses on his head
Dragon shrieking when startled (he had headphones in)
Both running into a solid object while staring at the other; pole, door, car, wall
They have a super solid partnership (mainly because they are ok being on their own, they don’t have to be with each other 24/7) it’s not the classic I need you in my life it’s I don’t need you but I want you in my life.

A couple sitting propped up in their large bed in their favorite pjs. They both came down with the same terrible cold, their noses bright red, streaming and full to the brim with sneezes. Used, balled-up tissues are scattered all around them like a halo, and they've sneezed so much today, that person A has given up on tissues altogether and is just giving themselves up to the sneezes, letting them fly uncovered for why bother anyway if both of them are sick already?
B is adamant that all sneezes should be covered, so when A's breath hitches helplessly, B reaches out a hand to catch A's desperate "Aaahh'TIISSHU!!!" in their hand, only to feel a sneeze blooming in their own nose. Without thinking, they hold the hand A has just sneezed into in front of their own nose and sneeze a spraying "Heh'PTTSSHIEW!!!" into it, so now their palm is shimmering wet with both their colds.

Polar comic of the day. Guys I think he has other things on his mind
(Some context for this mess:
“Certainly Kathleen’s diary shows that - for a brief while - she was indeed considering Lawrence in the role of a suitor. She described it as an ‘acute attack of Lawrencitis’.”
- From ‘An ‘Acute Attack of Lawrencitis’: Lady Kathleen Scott’s Friendship with the Lawrence Family’ by Alison Jolley (read here)
“And although Kathleen and Peter took the train in the direction of Lamer at least one weekend in the month to bask in Cherry's devoted hospitality, he was either too overawed to be physically attracted or his sickly conscience got in the way. She coolly found him "a young thing."”
- From ‘Shaw’s Sculptress, Kathleen Scott’ by Stanley Weintraub (read here)
“If our sexes had been different (one of us, I mean) we could have pulled off a eugenist's dream. As it is there's only a mutual admiration available.”
- A 1927 letter from TE Lawrence to Cherry (read here))
