Most questions were related to student/dorm life, work-study, and academics (professor recommendations).

Hamza, ‘23 co-hosted with me, Angela, ‘25 to answer questions. We are both from California (NorCal and SoCal, respectively), and we are both Computer Science majors of some sort. Bridgerton was released on Netflix today and I'm thinking I may want to re-read this series. If you can believe it I was introduced to this series in college when I took a English course on the evolution of the Romance Novel, we started with The Sheik, moved to bodice-rippers and ended in paranormal erotica. I'd never read any regency romance before and we read The Viscount Who Loved Me. How’s Calc 1 at Lehigh?

If you’ve gotten a 4/5 on the AP Calc AB test, don’t waste your time with Calc 1 at Lehigh unless you want a GPA boost or you really don’t feel confident in Calc. Although you learn a little more than AP Calc AB, from what I’ve heard, it’s not 100% worth taking it again at Lehigh just to learn a few topics that you may not have covered in AP Calc AB. Most students that got a 4/5 on AP Calc AB will do fine in Calc 2.

I took Calc 1 twice at Lehigh (how embarrassing lol). Both times were very different. Just a quick background info, I didn’t take AP Calc AB and I took my last real math class in junior year of High School. I took data science for my senior year that countered for math.  My first semester, it was really hard. I had to refresh my memory while learning new topics. It also wasn’t helpful that I didn’t know how to study and I didn’t attend every lecture or take notes in every lecture. Also, the professor went pretty fast as he assumed most of the students took AP Calc AB already so he didn’t really stop much for questions. 

My second semester was different for the better. The professor was more understanding and I had already previewed the content from the previous semester. I also knew how to study and formed a study group with my friends. This really motivated me. There was one major change to the structure which was that they added weekly quizzes which I didn’t have the previous semester.
