I’ve almost no understanding of linguistics. But this post and also @thefoundationproject ‘s fics, which include bits about how the Journeyman Protector dialect might be related to Standard Mando’a, have me trying to hypothesize Mandalorian language trees. based on what we know about Mandalorian history.

I KNOW some of you are language nerds and I also did this in fifteen minutes please yell at me about your own headcanons and also about everything I got wrong/missed/forgot. It would be cool to turn it into a real graph to reference eventually (:

We were talking on Dinbo server about Din's oath under the shining moon, when it hit me it's NOT YOUR AVERAGE MOON!

Ok hear me out. Bo was born on Mandalore, Din wasn't born on Concordia, but it's the place where he was baptized Mandalorian, "Din Djarin of Concordia" after all. So giving this oath to her on Mandalore in the light of the Concordian moon is a metaphor for his promise. He will always be with her like Concordia is around Mandalore, lighting up the darkest of nights, and guiding her through the unknown.

i have my regular concordia who i use for my roleplay blog (grew up in an orphanage, librarian, chronically anxious) but there's also a second secret concordia in my head who lived on the streets of castelia before ghetsis yoinked her and copes with her trauma post-BW by being reckless and self-destructive. she has a cyclizar or maybe just a motorcycle

Day 17/30 : Isaac Bontemps (Fear) / (Peur/Phobie)

Point of view :

He is a 10 but he is absolutely terrified of these beautiful creatures called horses.

This is my first Laurent post, I can never get him to look like he does in my head but I figure if I never get feedback I’ll never get any better. So if you hate him I’m sorry! Androgyny is hard. Anyway, this is inspired by Ccainao3’s fic Concordia chapter 5

Theory:Din wasn't originaly part of The Covert and join them closer to the begining of Season 1

1)His conversations with the Armorer

First thing that seems strange to me was Din's phrase :"I was once a foundling " and The Armorer's responce :"I know". Why Din need to tell that ,if Din was part of the covert all the time?(that could also mean that the Armorer was new one here or that Din thought she wasn't paying attention to younger him,but I have a few reasons to think that Din was new one).

She also asked him in season 1 finale about his jetpack training. Again why would she needs to tell that if he always was there?

I know that all of this was needed for exposition,but what is in-universe reason for this exposition?

2)His relationship with covert

He has very weird relationship with covert. He only ever speaks to The Armorer and Paz. When Paz started fighting,nobody stopped them or tried to protect Din,except for the Armorer. It would be easy to explain,if he was a dark horse. They simply don't know much about him.

3)His thought about mandalorian help

It is more like bonus point,but in season 2 he said that by the Creed mandalorian must help mandalorian,so maybe he was already helped with Covert?

My theory is that he was part of different covert,but during the Purge it was destroyed,so he needed to join the new one or maybe he lived in small mandalorian town om Concordia,because they didn't need to hide from the Empire then.
