Confusion's Octopath Traveler 2 Headcanons Masterlist that I'm getting out into the world a day before the game's release right before the canon makes it impossible for them to happen

Agnea is insanely good at handstands. Partitio, half drunk, once asked her to do a handstand on a chair, which she did, and then proceeded to shock the rest of the group by removing one hand from the chair and slowly placing it behind her back. Everyone was freaking out

Osvald doodles in his books. They're usually little faces of his deceased wife and daughter (followed by the words "I love you" or "I miss you very much"), but there are sometimes messy doodles of flowers and even some of the other travelers. The other travelers once found one of the books with these drawings in it. Osvald had forgotten to draw Paritio's hat in one doodle, and the group promptly mistook him for Temenos

Throné sings lullabies when she can't fall asleep. She sings very sweetly, but she has threatened all who have heard her sing out of embarrassment. Her audiences are usually herself or the occasional stray animal she finds out on the streets

Hikari loves birds. The birds also love him back. He once tried to feed a few and ended up attracting an entire flock, resulting on him being covered in birds and feathers, which made it extremely difficult to walk around

Temenos Does Not swear in front of kids. The other travelers found out when he stubbed his toe in a room full of children. After it happened, he simply stared at the ground before shouting "FUDGE" very loudly, sending the other travelers into a fit of laughter

Ochette doesn't eat chocolate. No one knows why. It could be because of her canine features. It could simply be because she doesn't like it. When asked, Ochette simply shrugs and responds that she doesn't know either

Castti has Everything in her apothecary satchel. Everything. People think the "take out all your weapons. *watches them take out one weapon* all of them *watches them take out the rest of their weapons*" person is Throné or Ochette. Wrong. It's Castti. No one has ever questioned her about the blade sharpening rock in her satchel. No one knows how Castti can lug the small but heavy rock in her satchel all day. No one truly knows how much her satchel can hold. No one will ever know.

The other travelers once made a joke about Partitio's last name. Once when they were traveling in the Winterlands, they saw him wearing a purple scarf, and they proceeded to call him Partitio Purplewil for the rest of the day

Ochette has a special whistling pattern when she calls for each of her creature companions. Over time, she also made one for each of the other travelers. Now, whenever each of the travelers hears their specific whistling pattern, they'll know what Ochette is calling for them. This is especially great if people get lost in a crowd. Unfortunately, no one has made a whistle pattern for Ochette yet

Castti bakes a lot. Due to her experience with her concoctions, she knows how the chemical compounds work and can make all sorts of fancy desserts. Whenever Ochette makes something, Castti is quick to follow up with a small cake or pudding. She also makes really good hot chocolate

Throné likes to have quiet tea sessions with her fellow travelers. She used to do it with a few friends during breaks as she found it relaxing. Now, she can quietly sip on her tea and engage in conversations with the other travelers. From time to time, she enjoys these sessions on her own. Those sessions are her do not disturb times. If anyone does disturb her, Throné will be very sure that there will be consequences

Osvald memorises at least one sentence of every book he's ever used for his research. It's not necessarily the first or last sentence, it's just any random sentence in the book. Once, one of the travelers was reading a book out loud. Osvald, upon recognising a sentence, asked "is that 'A History of the Winterlands'?" without even looking up from his current read. From that moment onwards, no one dared to question his memory again

Partitio likes stargazing. In his younger days, he used to stay up to stare at the stars in the sky until his parents told him to go to bed. To this day, it's a small hobby that he continues to do when he's finished with a long day of work, or when he can't fall asleep. He can recognise some of the stars, and constantly points them out to the other travelers

Agnea is really good at tying and untying knots. The knots she makes are always secure, and no matter how impossible it seems to untie a knot, Agnea can always get it undone. At first, no one knew why this was the case, or how she managed to learn this skill. The answer soon became clear when the travelers found her trying to untie a knot in one of the ribbons she used to tie her hair

Temenos sleeps with one eye open at all times. No one knows why. They all found out one morning when they found Temenos sitting asleep at a table with one eye open. They started a conversation thinking he was awake the whole time until he actually woke up and proceeded to scare the living hell out of all of them. Someone once asked him if he could see in his sleep. Temenos' answer to that question was simply to shrug and to walk away

Hikari likes folding origami cranes. It was something he used to do a lot as a child to pass the time. Now, whenever he's bored and has a piece of paper in front of him, he starts absentmindedly folding the little paper cranes and handing them to the nearest traveler. Each traveler has at least 20 of these

The (Not) Normal One...

So

I LOVE the stories where Danny is deaged and later found by one of the bats and taken in as a son or he's Bruce's bio son and is either Damian's twin or half brother or little/big brother BUT I don't see a lot of reborn/reincarnated Danny into the batfamily (I can think of two but one of them he is Dick's son?clone?somewhat clone? And the other is an amazing story where Danny is reborn as Jazz and Jason's kid and I love it to bits)

So let's change that a bit and have some fun.

Here's the idea

Danny, either from finally aging to his death (it was slow and long aging but he is still partly human too don't forget that) or dying at the hands of GIW (or by his parents if we go the Bad!Fentons route), is reborn into the batfamily.

He could either be Bruce and Selina's kid after they finally tie the knot, or be a one more attempt by Ra's or Talia to get the heir they want but is immediately found out when Tim notices certain labs active and they find baby Danny. OR Danny can be an oops baby to Bruce's one night stands OR one of the batboys baby. EITHER WAY, Danny is reborn into the family from the start.

And he has his memories. (He has little hints of his powers btw, they dont fully come in until his 14th bday)

And his new family all swear to give him a proper and happy childhood (as best as they can seeing how it's Gotham)

Only I want Danny milking being a baby then toddler/kid and later a teen for all its worth. He's going to enjoy this new life with everything he gots.

Like imagine the chaos and shenanigans he gets into as a toddler. He's the king of hide-and-seek. He uses his tears to get away from whoever annoys him. He's mastered the puppy dog look to get away with things (it holds no effect on Alfred though, man is immune to all tricks).

But then of course there's the... odd things that happen around him. Sometimes they catch him talking to no one. Sometimes they spot a ball or a toy rolling to Danny despite him not touching it. Sometimes they think they see or hear someone in the room with Danny only to go busting in to find nothing. (One time someone busted his nursery door down they heard on his baby/toddler monitor the distorted voice of a woman singing him a lullaby (it was Martha who was soothing him to sleep after a tiny nightmare, boy was Bruce not ready for one of his kids to hum the tune in the morning)).

Danny asking for an extra drink and the newspaper after Bruce is done before he runs off to one of the many sitting rooms the manor has. There he leaves the drink and the newspaper near a chair, hops into another chair nearby and chats to someone (they all think its his imaginary friend but that honestly doesn't explain why the drink seems to slowly disappear without anyone touching it. (btw its Thomas, Danny is talking to they like chatting in the morning)

OR when Danny gives hints to cases his family is working on, how he knows? No one knows. Sometimes they chalk it up to a kid randomly saying stuff or seeing it from a different simple outlook but sometimes it seems a little too on the nose and they think Danny might know about their night jobs... (He does know, but he gets some info from Lady Gotham who visits him and gives him little hints to pass onto her fav Knights)

Basically what I want is a reborn Danny trying to get a decent childhood/teenage years before his powers kick in full swing, his family trying the same but they got no idea about the powers (maybe), and ghosts like to visit Danny. The shenanigans that follow will be amazing.

early seasons sam is just that bit spoiled and i think that is just a feat in itself on dean's behalf. he managed to raise a kid in a motel room off of macaroni cheese and second hand clothes but he sacrificed enough that sam still grew to be spoiled and petty. that s1 dynamic where sam has absolutely no clue about any of the shit dean went through is actually so so important because it shows just how stupidly good dean was at putting on a front of normality and protecting his brother. not only has dean been performing his whole life he's been performing parenthood his whole life and it was a success. dean's performances didn't start as self protection they started in the same way a mother performs to their child that everything is okay as the world falls to pieces around them. as s12 says, it's not fair and dean can't do it, but sam's spoiled s1 nature is a sign of how successful dean actually was

the doctors back at the clinic have been fixing oil prices all in a big fight over foreign toy makers in order to monopolize the pelicans who are merely the pawns of the military industrial complex, and nobody seems to care

I can’t believe a poll convinced me ORV was actually gay only to discover on the wiki that not only are these isekai bitches not canon, one of them apparently has a female love interest.

Despite dying for each other, apparently being mistaken for a couple several times and shipped by characters in-universe, seeing each other as the reason to keep living, having multiple emotionally charged moments (including one homoerotic murder attempt? wtf is that one about?) and basically following the blueprint of rivals to lovers they are still besties?

What in the Destiel is this. I hoped we were over the queerbait era, the gay version of the story i had in my head from seeing the meta and fanart was way cooler.

AAAAA Vashwood soulmates/reincarnation concept in where you look the exact same way as the person you loved deeply in your past life as a memory of them, it’s like a cycle. (I.e.: Vash loved WW so he will look like WW, same idea for Nick. Next life Vash will look like himself again, and so on and so forth,, does that make sense????)

Now. For every time they reincarnate they will get a new spot in their skin until they get to finally FINALLY be together living a happy life without them being so tragically separated from each other.

Fast forward to Vash trailing Wolfwood’s moles that are all over his body and Nick always taking his time to kiss “every and each one” of Vash’s freckles on his face

so... i watched all episodes of a boss and a babe, and i genuinely love it! in fact, i thoroughly enjoyed it! it made smile, laugh, and sympathetic for cher and gun.

so i went to mydramalist (out of curiosity), and i saw many negative comments. i was surprised. i don't get it. i think i've seen this trend before. people are so fierce when they commented on forcebook's acting. it happened during their enchanté days too. i can't say anything about enchanté because i didn't watch the drama. but i'm watching a boss and a babe, and i absolutely love it.

honestly, it breaks my heart a little after reading those comments. i wonder what makes people leave such harsh feedback on mydramalist?

do you guys think forcebook's acting is bad? i think they did a commendable job embodying gun and cher. i like stoic yet soft gun and animated yet strong cher.

i'm just confused because i love this drama so far, and i think i'm in the minority...

why can't it be both?

but also mainly for me i read them as queer partly bc of their obvious love but also bc of how their relationship is kinda dysfunctional. not that they have to be dysfunctional to be gay. but just their characters have so much comphet. and it is often played for laughs but cory and shawn actually do not have the ideal friendship every likes to paint it as. not that their love is less, but if you really watch every ep you see how many episodes they talk about not having other friends and actually not being allowed to have other friends. cory especially seems to be extremely jealous of shawn having other friends. and this would be seen as a normal friendship plot that we see a lot in media. except in this show it's never actually framed as bad or something to mature past but actually excepted as good and just the way cory and shawn are and how close of friends they are.
