the thing that gets me about yakuza 6 (beside the whole strangeness of the final letter, but that is possibly an issue with the translation more than anything) is that over the course of the game kiryu. learns nothing. he starts the game by meekly exiling himself to jail in the name of his family, and ends by exiling himself to a faked death in the name of his family, despite the fact that the entire rest of the game is about how much his family needs and wants him in their life and how throwing himself away like that is ACTUALLY THE WRONG FUCKING MOVE, KIRYU, MY GOD, LISTEN TO EVERYONE IN YOUR LIFE FOR ONCE, WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS

but there's also the baseball game, which is a delight, so
