WHERE WE COME FROM (2022) MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS one of the more prominent pieces from my senior high school thesis portfolio entitled IMAGES OF VENUS. This body of work explored my personal relationship with womanhood and sexuality, as represented through art history iconography. this piece only briefly saw the light of day, because yes, those are tampons. this is the original version, there is an edited version that was displayed at my senior gallery show. I will never forget when I had 3 of my instructors give me a working critique on this piece. Lots of hilariously awkward reactions
