one thing i constantly think about (and i’m glad other people think about it to) is how hank’s self worth issues and connor’s struggle with his independence and sentience clash together. like. ughhh it’s amazing and so angsty and beautiful.

hank thinks that connor couldn’t Possibly want hank. it’s just because he thinks hank is the only option, or was the first kind person to him, or his closest friend. that’s the only reason connor could think he’s attracted to him. because who would want hank? why would perfect, beautiful, strong, sweet connor want hank? he’s a borderline alcoholic, he’s an emotional mess, he’s big and old and rude.

and connor doesn’t understand why his advances aren’t working. he does human methods to show attraction, he is direct like a machine android, he smiles and winks and is close to him physically and emotionally. he wants hank, he knows he does. he wants hank and hank has been one of the first things he’s wanted. hank showed him he was more than a robot. connor thinks hank knows he’s sure of himself and he’s confused when hank constantly ignores or brushes off his advances. is it rejection? shame? denial? he’s still analyzing to figure it out

Whoooo! This year, y’all. When they say tragedy comes in threes you better believe it. Some was expected, others were a complete shock. Please bear with me; this has been a difficult time.

Our last ordeal could’ve been much, much worse. I have a lot to be thankful for, and I’m praising God for His graciousness during this hard season. Listen to those red flags, y’all. It can mean the difference between a hospital stay and a funeral. Hug your loved ones. Life is too short.

:[ OOC ;; I pop in here just to say I think the whole Hank Ultron thing would have been a lot cooler if they made it a lot more ambiguous on if he was telling the truth and maybe give Ultron time to really sink his claws into people. Ultron is equal parts a psychological threat as he is a physical one and a lot of his mental threat factor in that form wasn't even really by plan, it was just because the heroes really cared about Hank, not because of any actual manipulation by Ultron. All his manipulation tactics kinda fell on their face and you'd think a super smart robot like Ultron now capable of understanding the full range of human emotions would be a terrifying manipulator given his efficiency but no, we're gonna have this big idea be outed asap // ]
