okay all of the reviews for "severance" by ling ma said it was a hilariously deadpan satire on the post-apocalypse — and maybe that was true in 2018 — but now that i've read it i can say i probably laughed Once and felt a bone-deep nihilistic dread Constantly. the bit about the protagonist's company gifting her a self-care kit of 2 N95 masks, a nutrient bar, and an expanded insurance plan in response to a worldwide pandemic isn't really funny post-2020, it's just realism.

#twitter migration#for the record i dont mind people from twitter coming over here in general#i myself was a pretty avid twitter for quote some time#until the space i occipied that was mostly free of what is considered classic twitter behaviour was equally corrupted#and pointless discourse and arguments became impossible to find#and i was forced to leave pretty much entirely because it got to a point where merely opening the app became mentally draining#i still have fond memories of my early time on there where everyone i came across was kind and there wasnt arguments everywhere you turned#so because of that i dont mind twitter users coming here in general#so long as they dont bring with them the awful twitter culture that made me and many others have to leave that platform for our well being#im not afraid of the influx of people fron there. im afraid of what they may bring with them#and i do think the being insufferable with a the destialgate and glup shitti and everything (when its not even insufferable at all imo)#i do think it helps weed out some of the people who could bring those negative things to this platform#any of them who come here anyways though if they try and start anything as if its twitter#i do hope that we all remember to treat them the same as corporations#no kpp or anything#just straight up no attention#they cannot be allowed to survive the ecosystem here and the best way to do that i think is to block them and move on#not a lick of attention#i totally fucked up an earlier tag really badly#pointless discourse and arguments became impossible to AVOID not find...#i truly domt know how i managed to fuck that so bad

one irritating thing about the whole celebrity private jet emissions thing is that so many people are like "corporations are the main problem not individuals! we should be blaming them!" which like. yes obviously corporations are the Worst but at what level are we allowed to criticise? private jets literally produce more emissions than the whole of denmark.... this is so very much not the same as whether individual people use plastic straws or drive to work instead of cycling or whatever.

You know the whole "a fine means you're allowed to do it if you pay"?
I might be using this for checked baggage.
If i have 1 extra case theyll charge me £100+, but if i overfill one of my two cases its "only" £30. Plus its if you go over at all rather than per kg, so might as well use as much as possible right????
Basically if i slide the company some extra money i can get up to 9kg more luggage. And i dont have to feel guilty bc i paid for it! Freakonomics baybeeeee

even though i like art history enough to major in it, one thing i will say is most art history documentaries ive seen are kinda ass. or at least, theyre not something i personally find compelling. a lot of vaguely dramatic music and disconnected fragments of interviews, edited with an assumption that the audience already thinks the works are masterpieces created by unknowable savants but also being largely uninterested in the process or the works themselves and their context and how that makes it interesting, i dunno maybe out of fear of demystifying the work? i dunno, maybe i just can't figure out who they're made for, because its probably not me LOL

Corporate Behavioural Training: Enhancing Employees' Behavioural Skills
In today's competitive business world, a company's success depends not only on its products and services but also on its employees' behavioural skills. Behavioural skills training for employees is becoming increasingly important to help them enhance their interpersonal communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills. This is where Corporate Behavioural Training comes into play.
What is Corporate Behavioural Training?
Corporate Behavioural Training is a specialized training program designed to help employees develop and enhance their behavioural skills to be more productive, effective and efficient in their roles. This training program aims to help employees understand the importance of behavioural skills in the workplace and how to apply them in their day-to-day activities. It covers various topics such as communication skills, teamwork, leadership, time management, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution.
Benefits of Corporate Behavioural Training
Improved Interpersonal Communication: Effective communication is the cornerstone of any business. By providing behavioural skills training to employees, companies can help them develop effective communication skills, such as active listening, empathy and constructive feedback.
Enhanced Leadership Skills: Leadership is crucial in every organization. Behavioural skills training can help employees develop their leadership skills, including goal setting, decision making, motivation, and delegation.
Improved Conflict Resolution: Conflict is inevitable in the workplace. By training employees on behavioural skills, companies can help them develop conflict resolution skills to handle conflicts constructively and peacefully.
Better Teamwork: Behavioural skills training can also improve teamwork skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, and consensus-building, which are essential for any team's success.
How does Corporate Behavioural Training work?
Corporate Behavioural Training is typically conducted through workshops, seminars, and online courses. These training programs are designed to be interactive and practical, allowing employees to apply the skills they learn in real-life scenarios. Corporate trainers use various teaching methods, including role-playing, case studies, and simulations, to help employees understand and apply the behavioural skills they are learning.
Why is Corporate Behavioural Training important for a company's brand?
A company's brand is its identity, reputation, and perception in the market. A positive brand image can significantly impact a company's success. By providing behavioural skills training to employees, companies can improve their brand image in the following ways:
Positive Work Culture: Employees who have good behavioural skills tend to work better together, creating a positive work culture. This can increase employee satisfaction, retention, and loyalty, which can ultimately improve a company's brand image.
Customer Satisfaction: Good behavioural skills help employees provide excellent customer service, which can significantly impact a company's brand image. Customers are more likely to return to a company that offers good customer service, resulting in positive brand recognition.
Conclusion
Corporate Behavioural Training is essential for every company that values its employees' success and growth. By providing employees with the necessary behavioural skills, companies can improve their productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness, which ultimately impacts their bottom line. Additionally, behavioural skills training can enhance a company's brand image, creating a positive perception in the market. In conclusion, investing in Corporate Behavioural Training is a win-win for both employees and companies alike.
