We can conclude from the timeline, as well as Luz and Vee’s ages, that the sisters were born circa 2008... Which is an interesting year, because. And I can’t say if this was intentional or not.

But this was the year Camila and Manny would’ve read about in Cosmic Frontier; A year representing fantasy, wonder, and an encounter between fellow weirdoes who bonded over the same interest.

It’s probably just a coincidence, but wouldn’t it be crazy if it wasn’t? That as they looked forward to 2008, they realize the daughter who came because of their shared interest would be born that year? And as they’d discover, also be obsessed with fantasy books of her own? And little would Camila know that on that same year, her other daughter Vee would also come into existence from another fantasy world too, one Luz would discover! Makes it poetic that it’s Vee who observes the year 2008 here...

It was meticulously researched and had a big bulletin board of thread because he would get lost on what was canon and what wasn’t. Willow would make him go to bed because he’d pull all nighters
