being a knitter/crocheter with a grudge against family members (it's justified. they are snobby, classist, have absolutely zero filter in a very negative way and will sidestep apologizing if you call them on it) is like. okay yep. you're getting a cardigan, you're getting a piece of wall art and some scrunchies. you're getting scrunchies and slippers, you're getting a very intricately designed hat or a pair of colorwork socks, and you? you are getting dishcloths in colors I choose. no heirloom blanket, pillow covers, ornaments or sweaters for you fuckers.

>:) okay okay okay okay heres an actual fun one. dagger loves amusement parks and carnivals (he grows up to open of his own circus so of course!) and he takes dum dum on a road trip to one of them and its the first time he's ever really experienced that, and they both run around there like two kids, riding roller coasters and playing those rigged games and stealing cotton candy from kids and making out on the ferris wheel. picture every cliche amusement park date trope but with these two demented weirdos. they win a giant teddy bear that ends up getting beheaded and dum dum carries it around on his back all day and ends up keeping it in his apartment as a memento.

Sea witch style star. 🌊 Pink and blue cork-back coaster created from a distorted kaleidoscope photo of the beach. This creation kind of reminds my strange brain of cotton candy. 🎠

September: Coaster Set

This is the last already-completed project from my backlog. From here posts will be based on when I finish projects, living up to the promise of sporadic and haphazard posting in the blog description.

Anyway, practice project #4 from "Everyday Crochet".

One of the multicolor coasters came first, but I wasn't a huge fan of the effect, so I switched to the light blue.

Except, y'know. Then I made a couple of the solid coasters and couldn't have just one multicolor coaster all on its lonesome...
