Gen 6 Cousins pt. 1

Might be too soon for this because I believe all these were born during gen 6, but idc, I want them out already. This generation was driving me crazy with everyone trying to get together with their relatives 😭

Notes:

Barry and Alanna are children of Jerry and Maude from Maeve's BC (@poisonfireleafs)

Kyler is son of Hector who is the son of Quinn and Annie who is the daughter of contestants from August and Axel's BC.

Kayleigh and Cecily are daughters of Darya and River from Maeve's BC (@arogaba)

Bernadette, Justus and Redd are children of Ode and Chase from Maeve's BC (@ommlette-du-plumbob)

Yes a lot of the BC contestants found their way on the family tree, that was the only highlight of having story progression on for gen 6 😂

Some random headcanons about Redd because she’s the best and I’m just now finding out she has a fanbase:

She actually has no real given name. She’s gone by a lot of names over the years; Ruby, Crimson, Scarlett, Rose, Carmine. Anything that means “red”. But Redd is the name she likes the most, so it’s what she introduces herself as

She may or may not be a cousin of Jack Sparrow. None of the family really knows, but her mother took on her father (Edward Teague’s brother) as a frequent client over the years so they’re pretty sure the kid is his.

Edward Teague felt responsible for Redd after she was born and took her under his wing. He was the closest thing to a father she ever had.

When she was about 18-19 she was auctioned off (like in the ride) but she eventually shot her “husband” and went off on her own.

Jack took the blame for the crime cause he just so happened to be there to try to break her out. Only Edward knows and plans to take the secret to the grave.

Redd can be just as chaotic if not moreso than Jack, to the point where sometimes even he struggles in keeping up with her

To be petty he refuses to ever call her Captain despite her very much being her. Instead Jack will always call her “Rusty Redd”

She LOVES dad jokes. She’s the only soul alive who’s genuinely laughed at Uncle Jack’s terrible jokes

Redd’s got a bit of a drinking problem but she’s able to manage it pretty well.

She HATES chicken. Ever since she was little they’ve had a weird vendetta against her so she refuses to eat them

Redd is just about the only person who never gets mad when Jack betrays her. If anything she expects it. And sometimes she’ll get a good betrayal on him too

She loves to sing and dance her heart out, but she’s not very good at either

My ramble/theory on Bearzebub

Few pointers before I start rambling: *My theory is going to be split in two (I actually have two theories about Bearzebub) *Don’t take this seriously, this was just made because of my rambling mind. If you have any other theories about Bearzebub, don’t mind sharing them.

First Point: Bearzebub being Wendell and Wild’s cousin

So in film, Bearzebub directly says that the demon bros are their cousins before revealing to them that the two got themselves a hellmaiden. From what I can see, both Wendell and Wild don’t actually call Bearzebub their cousin (they just ignored it from what I saw) nor did their dad ever told them about them being related. The only time they heard about other related family members was with their siblings (whom Bearzebub helped them get to the land of the living), to which the demon bros never knew they had siblings. So here’s the thing (I’ll just go off script here), I played ACNH before and I stumbled across Redd calling me “cousin” since we’re like family. So apply that, but with Bearzebub and the demon bros, it’s clear that Bearzebub sees Wendell and Wild as family members. But, just like Redd, it’s possible that Bearzebub is deceiving them so that demons can run amok in the living world or fall to their demise in the hands of the humans or something (I’m not technically sure though).

Second Point: Bearzebub with Hellmaidens

From several points in the film (and in some dialogue as well), we see Bearzebub help out with the Hellmaidens in summoning the demons of the underworld to the living world. Another is where, after Kat swore allegiance to her demons, Bearzebub also shows signs of their eyes glowing green as well (along with Wendell and Wild). Then by the end of the film, we see Bearzebub with their eyes glowing yet again, even after Kat’s fever was diminished by the blood binding. So here’s my theory. It’s possible that Bearzebub has full control over the Hellmaidens, meaning that it can manipulate them into summoning more demons. Even if they have blood bind to diminish the allegiance, Bearzebub can manipulate them into summoning more and more demons. Another pointer is that, in the film, Kat’s memories is what fuels the fever. Additionally, her trauma and self-hatred also became a factor of her becoming a Hellmaiden (along with Sister Helley, but it’s kinda different since her backstory was cut from the film). So it’s possible that Bearzebub chooses Hellmaidens who experience traumatic events in their lives; in addition, to actually cause these traumatic events, to manipulate them because they’re vulnerable when they’re struck with trauma. An extra pointer before this theory ends, it’s also possible that Bearzebub gives the demons that Hellmaidens are requested to summon endless power over them. It’s also possible that Bearzebub makes the Hellmaidens slaves to both them and to their demons, not actually realizing that they have full power over them and manipulate their Hellmaiden in doing what they please.

And that’s pretty much it. Again, this is just my ramblings. Someone out there has better theories than me (maybe, idk)
