Thanks to the Minecraft Live event we have context for this scene and I was right.

The crafting table works by being inspired by your “imagination!” You can create anything you want! But recipes help focus that creativity and is more reliable.

Jason Mamoa tries to make a sword, but because he drops all his ingots and resources haphazardly on the table it doesn’t make a sword, it makes two buckets connected by a chain. Which clearly is not what he was trying to do.

So in context that messy “recipe” makes sense.

MY question though is why did they choose THAT scene to add into the trailer? The same scene shows Jack Black successfully craft a sword. Why wouldn’t they use THAT in the trailer? Why use the FAILED crafting as part of the trailer????

Day seven, crafting

I’m gonna continue working though prompts even though the art month is technically over, just because. I was barely a part of the main thing to begin with lol.

I hope the people like gourmand. The idea for this one was actually from my sibling. It’s so funny, I couldn’t not do it. I’ve started experimenting with adding my own flavour to the scugs, and giving them designs myself like I’ve seen around tumblr. It’s not much, but it’s fun.

When you want to draw a Luxio Day Art but it also happens to be the same day 'that' movie goes premiere…

I regret nothing. :,)

Now don't get me wrong. I'm still pretty skeptical about the movie and how will it go and be received by the watchers and fans, ntm still having some resentments towards what WB just pulled with c418's music, but the coincidence of the so-called Luxio Day and AMM premiere was too rare to pass on without making a dumb crossover like this. That, and me playing and becoming addicted to Cobblemon might have contributed to this... thing.

With that out of the way, Happy Luxio Day and A Minecraft Movie Day!
