Hero laid unmovable atop the bed, arms and legs lazily set over the mattress, left exactly how they fell when Villain set them there. Their enemy looked at them from the door, leaving it unlocked, it was not necessary to take the precaution, not with Hero as they were.

Villain settled beside them on the bed, sitting chest height, towering over. Hero looked at them with tired eyes, barely bothering to open them all the way, that might have caused offence in any other situation, a declaration of safety, meaning Villain was harmless, yet then, the criminal was relieved Hero could lower their defences. 

Villain cupped Hero's cheek with their hands, warmth guiding them to rest against it, a familiar feeling was certainly comforting.

"I'm sorry," Villain said, voice soft, "I should have never allowed you to leave my side."

Their hands travelled to the other's neck, a gentle grasp yet firm enough not to let it to be shaken off, if Hero ever pretended to move, twisting Hero's face from side to side, looking for more injuries than the evident. 

Villains frowned.

"Are you just gonna allow me to do whatever I want with you, like a ragdoll?" And despite their accusing words, their tone remained soft

"You always could anyway," Hero rasped out.

"And what makes you so sure I won't use it against you?"

Hero hummed, no more answers given.

With a sigh, their enemy answers, thumb stroking the edge of their throat.

"I won't give you back to them, I will keep you this time."

And that was fine for Hero, they thought as they closed their eyes, at least then and there.

Guys call me crazy but I think the crazy robots would get along swimmingly. The tragic fact that these two don’t have more art interacting is an offense in my rule book and I have come to remedy that. They say you must manifest what you want to see in the world and this is me doing that jskjsksp. I will take initiative! Enjoy a smidgen of Mr. Puzzles and Mettaton art then. Although I think the only reason they initially decided to co-host collaborate together here was the prospect of getting more stars/ratings- because that’s show business babyyyy leverage off of famous people for viewssss/j

Also here is version without the speech/dialogue bubbles! Just two gay bots being fabulous and gossiping or something (platonically. Or you could lean into this being a ship I don’t really care lol). Maybe they’ll exchange some advice about the logistics of incorporating musical numbers in the boardcasts without losing too much revenue on the budget idk. Because if you think about it Mettaton did a musical number in a dress with Frisk and then Mr. Puzzles had his whole Creative Control moment. And both where marvelous performances by the way absolutely slay ✨

My “toxic trait” is supporting the theatrical livelihoods of fictional computers who have committed atrocities, and they both will probably never make an apology video for the attempted murders and trauma inflicting. Wow so girlboss of them :))

Pearl's new ep has me like 🥺

In addition to just being so impressed & delighted by Wordle, it's incredibly heartwarming to see the amount of inspiration that cycles through the Hermits

The aspect ratio change during her montage feels very inspired by Bdubs. Calling it a montage like a tongue-in-cheek callback to Mumbo's last ep, where he insisted that despite technically being a montage, he'll always call what he does timelapses. Tango coming and helping add extra musical feedback to the game, an aspect of minigame design that Etho really focused on a few seasons ago. She plans on adding custom Cub fireworks to celebrate wins.

To be clear this is entirely Pearl's achievement, this isn't meant to give other people credit for 8+ hours of work and design. It has just really reminded me that Joe Hills' description of the Hermits as an artists' collective is Extremely Accurate. I'm eternally delighted to see the echoes of artistic inspiration every Hermit takes & gives back to the server
