Sure some fans are saying that his arc wrapped up great so all's well, but he's one half of a popular ship. I assumed Cody was one of the FIRST actors producers/Jeff would be calling

Plus Theo was one of the most interesting characters deserting his sister/ he was raised by the fricking dread Doctors!

Thiam aside, I was very interested too see how the new Redeemed Theo turned out. And I wanted to see how his relationship with Scott has changed over the years

I can't believe the TW Team had the opportunity to invite him and were like.......

And the cast and crew all loved Cody,

And it didn't even cross their minds to ask if he was free????

This makes absolutely NO sense at all!!!!!!

the problem is that I had beef with Timmy Cabernet for like two years because he got cast as Laurie and just did not match my idea of what Laurie Lawrence should look like but the truth is that the guy is actually a very good actor and despite the many issues with Little Women 2019 (which, for the record, I did enjoy. sorry mutuals) he was a surprisingly decent Laurie, so I can't stay annoyed by him very well, can I?

In Stars and Time is a FANTASTIC role-playing-game created by a solo indie developer. It centralizes around an absolute delight of a character and their efforts to escape a timeloop! But truly, it's contents are even more awesome than it's premise. This game has a similar feeling to Undertale or Omori, but is very distinct !!! In my opinion it's more intense than the former, but much easier to play than the latter (Omori's themes made the game too intense and visceral for me to finish, personally).

My favorite thing about ISAT is it's characters and story, with the would-building as a close 3rd! I have to be careful not to reveal too much, because it's really so charming to experience first-hand. ANOTHER favorite thing about ISAT is it's art direction! Don't be fooled by it's b/w style, it is chock full of attention to detail and delightful visual work. Ok though, I actually lied! My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing about ISAT is it's Storytelling through gameplay - you have to take a fair share of initiative to really dig into it all! The game doesn't really sit down and try to tell you everything in a writer-to-a-reader way; instead the world and characters feel like they're living and breathing and communicating and experiencing! And so, subsequently, you the player experience the world very naturally as well!

In addition to this, the tone and energy of the writing is something I found very unique! It is so worth giving it a go! Lastly, copying over something I've said before: I actually didn't realize the cast was LGBTQ+ before I started playing, so that was a fantastic surprise. This game is angled to talk about the queer experience while being interwoven with the themes and setting - and it was a great experience for me to see, in particular, aro and/or ace characters portrayed excellently - both thematically and realistically!!! (And i do mean this. To write the queerness into the themes/worldbulding is, really really cool!)

I'm currently working through my second playthrough of it! I'm trying to catch the few things I missed. In general the playtime of this game can vary greatly! Some places say it's got a 8-10 hour runtime, but some real goobers out there can clock 40 hours or more (because they are insane. I say this with an awed voice not a judgemental one).

I'm not actually sure how long my playthrough took! It's the price i pay for leaving the game running in the background....

I had the absolutely most surreal ffxiv dream ever last night. I wandered into some random house (unclear why) and it is like the most kitschy cottagecore house in existence and it belongs to. zenos. there is cross-stitch on the wall. lacy curtains. a scythe on the wall but it's for gardening. and the dude himself in just sitting there in his little kitchen on a chair with a fluffy pillow and staring blankly right next to the jars of homemade fruit preserves on his counter

and, like, you have to understand that this is an aesthetic I deeply abhor and already the equivalent of a horror movie for me and this fucker is just sitting there dissociating in his kitchen with his slow lizard blinks while I'm examining his antique teddy bear collection and trying desperately to think of what to say because I can't just leave without saying anything and it was so intensely awkward that I woke up out of sheer desperation

textually bored out of his mind but also not really adhd about it (which is rare in characters tbh? if a character is textually bored as fuck they're usually hyperactive/impulsive and zenos is just incredibly depressed)

most of the time i have zero understanding for the want to read bad nromance novels im like. why would you do that. what do you get out of that. but last night i was going thru the markwardo tag on ao3 and i was . utterly and completely charmed. by how many were like. eduardo works at a coffee shop on campus and mark sits in the corner till close on his computer! au where they're born with their soulmate's most important words on them! au where they get stuck in a timeloop and mark spends it trying to give eduardo the most romantic day possible so that he can always remember it and be happy!

dear john is just such a masterclass in songwriting and imo is undeniably one of the very best songs in taylor's discography for like 10 million reasons. the storytelling. the vocal performance. the guitar solo. the lyricism. the way it's both undeniable and plausibly deniable who it's about. the way it's a dear john letter!! the way she literally made it sounds like the music of the person it's about like godddd tell me that's not the most iconic meta level of musical storytelling ever!!!!! in some ways it's her 'you're so vain' and should be regarded as such. AND YET IT SOMEHOW STILL FEELS LIKE A DEEP CUT???
