It seems pretty clear that you had a flush crush on your Kankri, perhaps for being so understanding towards you compared to the others in your circle. Your time spent with him was immensely valuable to you, and you seemed very enamored in your relationship with him.

For one reason or another, perhaps you were scared of losing Kankri, and you may have dwelled on what could be left unsaid if you didn't confess your feelings for him. So, there's a strong chance that due to how much trust you had in him, you did end up admitting your red feelings for him at some point during your moirallegiance.

Random character notes for my swapstuck AU:

-Jake has DID. He still has BGD, but he also has an introject(?) of what he thinks Betty Crocker is like (ie, kindly old grandma and not alien fish emperor's humansona).

-Nepeta has the BIGGEST ashen crush on Equius and Kanaya. Equius doesn't know, Kanaya is... less than enthused.

-Karkat's ancestor was the one actually pulling the strings until Doc Scratch showed up. No version of Cronus is able to run an empire.

-Feferi, Aradia and Sollux are constantly swapping who's whose morail/matesprit. Everyone is happy with this except Feferi.

-Bro abandoned John a month or two before the story's start.

-Jade has a custom-made badge in "wilderness medicine" (finding mom's pills between the couch cushions).
