hi welcome back and i deeply apologise for the emotional whiplash.. not the mid-story team switch—i felt that betrayal in my bones too but honestly, it makes perfect sense to me, isagi came in with that quiet comfort energy and stole hearts before anyone noticed.

Phen: A rather buff but kindhearted blaze gaian (a fantasy race I've been developing for a long while...) with a love for flight, physical fitness, and collecting odd trinkets. He lost his horn after he crash landed into a rock (and subsequently became concussed) but will tell you it was because of some epic fight to sound cool.

Gaerth and Avalan ("Ava"): a pair of earth gaian siblings (of opposing sub-elements) who grew up traveling the country and wound up settling in a city with a bunch of other humans.

Gaerth is a music artist known for their video game fan songs and some of his remixes. He's also a vtuber under the alias "Woods Wanderer" but most people just call xem "WW" or "Wanderer" for short. He works at a local music store and has an incredibly lax and easygoing demeanor.

Ava is a college undergrad studying art and dance. She might seem a bit persnickety or hot tempered, but usually that's because she's busy with something. When she's not working on her next artistic masterpieces, though, she works at her campus bookstore.

Luna and Europa: some of my oldest OCs tbh I love them so much (to my exactly one friend who remembers these two and the prev two from their Homestuck troll era, you know how it was for them). They've had a good many iterations and now they're merfolk. Because it's fun and I like mermaids so... Yeah?

Luna is an incredibly timid and gentle woman with a passion for... A lot of things, actually. She loves baking and crochet, but she also loves flower gardening, romance, and she wants to be a teacher for young children. She has generally poor luck in relationships, though, which definitely has affected her for the worse.

Europa is Luna's older sister by a good few years. Growing up, Luna did not see Europa for the longest time past a certain point, thanks to a rather unsavory relationship that Europa unsuspectingly got herself into. It fundamentally changed who she was as a person, and when she returned to the city where Luna (and most of my other OCs in general live), it took her quite some time to return to some semblance of normalcy. She is married again, though, to an OC of one of my IRLs, and her stepson is another one of my OCs who I might post at a later date, Damien.

this is always so hard—it's like picking favorite children. but I guess my top 5 would have to be:

A Tall Tail—my first MC (10 years ago what the hell). I didn't think I could handle one before then, but then my imagination ran away with the idea and here we are. There's still a number of half-finished ficlets within this universe that may or may not get published someday, because I just can't resist merman!Killian.

Savage Garden—combining sweet deckhand Killian from Operation Mongoose with Dark Hook was a lot of fun to play with (thanks to thesschesthair for the inspo) as I didn't think we got enough of either of them in canon. plus: angst!!!

Sons of Love and Death—it was so nice to finally get this one DONE, as I think I'd been picking at it on and off for about 8 years. literally the only reason I read The Picture of Dorian Gray was to help me write this. and I am a sucker for Killian having magic (see previous fic) so any excuse to put that in his hand is something I will jump on.

Still Got It—because Killian will still be sexy AF when he's old and gray and Emma will always be there to remind him of it.

When Emma Falls In Love—the newest fic on this list, but I'd wanted to try my hand at cursed!Killian for a long time and TayTay gave the perfect inspiration for it.

The Chronicles of Narnia: 5, 7, 8, 11, 15

5. do you have a favorite character? who?

I love so many Narnia characters so much, but I think Lucy and Aslan are my very favorites. They're just so special. There's something profound about Lucy's joy and delight in Narnia and Aslan, and in Aslan's character. I had a special liking for Caspian growing up, but I don't love him more than other special characters now. (Though I enjoy reading about him even now. I just started rereading The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.)

7. how does the story compare to your initial impressions of it? has it surprised you yet? how? I first read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe when I was 8 years old, so I don't remember my first impression of that book or a couple of the others. I distinctly remember my first experience with some of them, though. I think my liking for all of them has only grown over the years, and I haven't fallen out of love with them. I remember sneaking downstairs to eavesdrop when my mom was reading aloud The Magician's Nephew to my older sister in the evenings. I was creeped out by it at the time, and was disturbed again when I read the book for myself. I like it better now, and I appreciate the beautiful parts of Magician's Nephew as well as the chilling ones. It was good to discover the wonder in that book later on. But I like it just a hair less than the other books. As for The Last Battle, I have a definite answer for this one. I first read it when I was 12 years old, and I didn't enjoy it quite as much because it's a tragedy. I also didn't like Tirian, probably because of what he did to save his friend at the beginning of the book and also because I wanted him to be like Caspian and Rilian, and he wasn't. Since then, after rereading the book and hearing @thejoyousjester talk about it, I've changed my mind about The Last Battle and about Tirian too. I think it's beautiful, even when it's uncomfortable. And I think Tirian is actually more likeable, noble, and admirable than his predecessors, a man of good character to the core, and the kind of character I value most of all. 8. what questions are or were you most excited to learn the answers to while experiencing the story for the first time?

I remember reading the first chapter of The Horse and His Boy for the first time, which was a huge event and very exciting to me. I didn't know what to expect, but I knew something big was happening when the Tarkaan showed up riding his horse. I think I was also riveted by the moonlit horseback chase scene with the lions. As the adventure unfolded, I'm sure I remained excited to find out what would happen. 11. if you were put in the main character's position, how well would that go for you on a scale of 1-5?

I think I have Lucy's wonder and joy, but like Susan, I might not have enough of an adventurous spirit to enjoy exploring an unfamiliar world. @thejoyousjester tells me I'm like Jill in all the best ways, which is an honor, since I always admired Jill (especially in The Last Battle). I think I would remain steadfast when tested and endure hardship willingly. And I think a love for Aslan would drive me. I hope I'd do as well as the main characters would. Perhaps a 4? 15. what time are you most likely to be found reading/watching this story? (time of year, time of day, season of life, whatever makes sense to you)

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe: winter or spring Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and The Horse and His Boy: summer (I'm currently squeezing in a VODT reread before we really get into fall.) The Silver Chair: late fall/early winter (I'm planning a reread soon.)

What do you do in your Free time?

(omg Lord help my soul I forgot about this ask I'm horrible..)

It depends on the day,

Some days, I like to go exploring and scaling, and..dig.

And on some days. I dig—Then sit there for the entire day. Or until Le Chèvre drags me out of my hole.

I do not only cook, y'know–I knit and paint sometimes but most of my paints aren't as .. recognizable, as I wish it would. At least my knitting looks nice, at least that's what Le Chèvre said. Tigress said once she'll use it to keep warm when lighting a fire.

I also lift, most times it's weights and sometimes it is Le Chèvre,

But most of these things happen rarely because of how many operations I am sent on by Professor Maelstorm because I am his "star student"

I'm sure there are other operatives better than I am.

I did NOT expect that ending omg😭😭 but I still love ur smau tho cuz it's literally a masterpiece!! I hope I'm not being annoying cuz I'm kinda slow and confused about something. So like when was isagi and yn like chill like that?... and didn't reo know about everything? When the machine activated did it erase everyone's memories or something? Thanks ilysm!<3

my vision is that when the machine activated, it only hit reader’s memories of kaiser, and takes her back to the first time she met him.. which was at the stadium. reversing back to “when was isagi and yn chill like that” , back at the stadium, she wanted to go to the bathroom, which was where she met “injured” kaiser & thus, left the game, however in here, she didn’t go to the bathroom and stayed throughout the game. from then on she & isagi had historyhehehshs sorry if i didn’t story this through
