First of all the name?? So incredibly cool, I can finally stop calling her “water-lux” lmao

Also I have a question, what type of fish/underwater creature is Flooded Lux? (If that is the case, I’m just assuming she’s not human bcs of the whole fish bowl and not being able to breathe air) I kind of just went with some axolotl-type fins for my design but yeah I’m really curious about that

Ngl, I have no clue why mu brain has latched onto this specific character, but it has and now I’ve gotta deal with that

Also, I like her fish bowl :) and the fact that it has a heart of the sea in the middle so it actually works and makes sense.

Ok to be completely honest with u I’m in vc with RAT rn so I had to ask what the flooded lux’s name is, and he said she named her “Nautilux” (I think it’s a portmanteau of nautilus and Lux)

Its ok, my brain latched onto a character without lore, another character with too MUCH lore, and a character who’s lore is pretty standard. Goldilocks type beat for lore.

CAN YOU BELIEVE I WENT 10 DAYS WITHOUT MENTIONING MY CSMP AU!?!!?!?!?!?? Anyways, a green colour palette? I have to use these two right? Otherwise I would be drawing Rena. Again. Without getting into the very complicated DoCaS lore (I mean for the Copper timeline I have a masterpost here), in both timelines Kye ends up having her heart replaced with that of Tisias, her mentor and closest friend in her early life. The funny thing about Mordei!Kye (Gold timeline) is that because of a horrible case of misunderstanding/miscommunication she ends up killing him herself and taking that heart for herself. I am sure this definitely won't have any bad ramifications. Worst part of it all? He'd willingly give them his heart in any timeline even when asked upfront. And in every timeline his love will always be a curse for her. The horror of love am i right?

Hi it's the Slate anon again um. I love your posts on botw modern AUs just imagining all the antics they would get into. You know they would all have a group chat together, Urbosa writes with proper punctuation and everything, every one of Zelda's messages is programmed to sign with "Her Royal Highness Zelda Bosphoramus Hyrule CCLXXVII" and Daruk writes every single thing in all caps. Link as quiet as he is means every time they see "Link is typing..." it's a national event (and it ends up being "ok" or "🫡")

Daruk would have a long distance game night every week for a "bonding session" but an hour each time is spent in him figuring out how to turn on the camera for the video call. Mipha invites Zelda, Revali and link to her animal crossing island and Zelda does nothing but fill the museum with animals while revali spends an embarrassing amount of time decorating the island. A Mario kart session nearly led to the murder of multiple champions

zelda's signature LMFAOOO i bet she started off with just "—Zelda" and then kept adding shit until it was ridiculously long and she just keeps adding stuff it to the point where if she just sends the word "hi" her signature is 99% of the message. daruk absolutely types in all caps and he tries to use slang words but it's a hit or miss he's very much the How Do You Do Fellow Kids? meme. i agree w link being quiet in the chat, but i'm torn between him being online often and just lurking silently + reacting to messages with emojis or him constantly having his phone on do not disturb, low brightness, and <10% battery all the time 😭😭 the gang buys him chargers but he always somehow breaks them ksjhdfjkd

the idea of the champions having a game night over like a discord call or something is so fuckign cute im cryingfhgjk it doesn't matter what the game is, revali is going to end up being ridiculously competitive and try to win every single time. link effortlessly beats him every time tho LMAOKDJFHDKJF zelda link and revali playing animal crossing together 🥺🥺🥺 link lowkey be tearing up zelda's island and steals all her fruit though LOL

this kinda made me think of a twitch streamers au 😄 i think zelda would be like a just talking/variety streamer like think pokimane or valkyrae; mipha would play games like animal crossing or stardew valley, but then randomly do a fortnite stream but the thing is she would fucking slay at it????? 😭 i feel like urbosa would play a lot of horror games like dead by daylight, resident evil etc. me personally i can't handle horror so props to urbosa bc it doesn't faze her at all whatsoever

i'm not sure what daruk would stream? would he even be able to get his setup together like he lowkey gives me the same vibes as the one time snoop dogg did a stream and forgot to log off so the live was just on for like 12 hours or something LMAO. now revali and link....... they are The Streamers Ever. i think they're both variety streamers but also like speedrunner rivals and also revali would speedrun elden ring and link would speedrun super mario odyssey

imagining the champions+zelda getting brought together by like . fuckin, idk someone doing love or host (hestu but he's the austinshow KJDHFDJKH) and the dynamic between them all is just so good they end up somehow becoming a stream team :] the champions+zelda playing jackbox or among us together :> revali losing his shit when he gets killed but also being the most efficient murderer and so is link so they kill everyone else in the game Quick Asf 😳 revalink have a "We are a good team" klance moment LOL......

imagine the champions having a minecraft server that they stream on and it's called the CSMP (Champions SMP). zelda has admin perms and revali is always asking for admin too claiming that he's the second most responsible person on the team, and to prove a point, zelda then gives admin to urbosa much to revali's chagrin. while this is all happening, daruk is still learning the wasd keys and trying to move and link is already in the nether #SpeedrunnerLife! mipha is 1000 blocks away swimming with dolphins and finds a sunken ship with treasure :> they eventually add the descendants to the SMP too, and impa and rhoam make special appearances on link and zelda's streams!

“Can I have them?”, she starts forward.

“Sure… one second”, he drops them, pulls out a flint and steel before she can move. 

Click. Woosh.

The gifts are burning. Their souls are burning. Ramsey is there. Flint and steel in hand and the gifts are burning. Water still dripping from his hair from his dip in the river. Drip. Drip. Drip. Into the fire. It evaporates with a sizzle but the fire doesn’t go out. Etoile freezes, mind blank. Tries to run forward but doesn’t move. The gifts are burning and she is frozen in time. As if fire burning had stolen the oxygen from the air, from her lungs, and left the world stagnant. If she squints, she thinks she can see Fiacre’s monocle amidst the flames, the golden metal going red hot. The glass shatters, shards flying from the flames. She thinks one flicks past her face, if it leaves a mark, she can’t feel it. The air is hot. The fire is burning but she is frozen. Numb. It’s so cold. Maya is yelling and so is Chort. The fire goes out, leaving a charred mass of metal, ashes, and other miscellaneous things. Things that once held the essence of the Catalysts. The fire is gone and Etoile can breathe again. She slips back into her skin. Allows herself to think. It feels like a frost.

She wants to find a way to undo it. To fix it. This has always been her first thought. Etoile is a healer. Though her hands are stained red, the perpetual crust of blood under her nails stems more from patching wounds than creating them. Her cracked fingers are far more familiar with the coarse cotton of bandages than the splintered wood of shields, they know the slim head of a needle more than the cold steel of a sword. Etoile is not a fighter. She is a healer. Through it all, she has tried to do good and received nothing but pain in return. She does not know if she can be a healer anymore. She slips out of this skin. Allows herself to mourn. It feels like a storm. 

She wants to sink into herself. To fall to the ground. This is her second thought. Etoile is no longer a healer. Her hands are still stained red but she doesn’t quite know what to do with them anymore. Her fingers itch for something to hold, something to remember them by, but there is nothing. It has burned. It lies in front of her in a pile of ashes. She has nothing. Etoile is not a healer. She is a mourner. This is not productive. She does not think she should be a mourner right now. She slips out of this skin. Allows herself to rage. It feels like a hurricane. 

She wants to scream to the heavens. To yell of injustice. This is her third thought. Etoile is no longer a mourner. She doesn’t quite know what she is anymore. Her hands twitch at her sides. They itch now for the cold steel of a sword, forgetting the once comforting feel of a needle. Ramsey is gone now but he’ll be back. She will not allow him to hurt her anymore. She snaps back to her body. Allows herself to be. It feels like freedom. 

She knows what she is now. No longer a healer. No longer a mourner. Etoile is an omen.

CRIMSON SMP - SEASON 6 / S1

Hi ok so for context for this, I'm on a minecraft server called Crimson SMP or CSMP which is just- a server where me and my friends play through the Life Series' [made by Grian]. We're on our 6th season now and since I feel like it, I wanna log in text what happens every session. This season we're doing Double Life!

SUMMARY

So the session starts off with everyone splitting off from spawn. Early on, I run into Vinrhin [Vin] and Kenophbia [Keno] while collecting wood. While talking with them, soulmate pairs are rolled, and after testing we learn none of us are bound to each other. Another short while passes before TTheTinkerer [Jonah] shows up. I punch him to see if he's bound to any of us, and Vin also takes damage, making them the first soulmate pair to be found!

We spend some time collecting fish together when SwiftSneaking [Millie] shows up, who's tested and revealed to not be bound to any of us. Not much exciting happens for a short while until Necromanttic [Maven] turns up and is revealed to not be bound to any of us. Shortly after, Maven runs off and comes back a few minutes later with a few people from around the area - Fizztic [Log], Maxanthrax [Max], and Delphiez [Meg].

Punches are passed around, and two more soulmate pairs are found. Me and Max, as well as Log and Millie.

At this point, Max and I split off from the main group with the intention of caving together. Along the way we find 2 cows and hide them away, and then spend the first night in a small cave collecting iron. By the end of it, we both had near full iron armor, and shields.

Once its day time, we head back closer to spawn to find a bigger cave, as well as to find out what the last three soulmate pairs are since they're all trying to meet up at spawn.

While Max and I are caving in a cave below spawn, RensRelay [Ren] and SteviaStevie [Stevie] show up and find their soulbounds, Keno and Meg respectively. That leaves only Maven and SkyIHigh [Sky], neither of who are near each other.

Maven quickly figures that out, but decides not to message Sky about it to see how long it takes him. Maven joins up with me and Max, and after a bit more material gathering, we decide to go to the Ancient City to get loot and the Enchanter.

After a stupidly long amount of time mining down, and a few breaks to bully Sky through Maven with powdered snow, we dig into the Ancient City and immediately either me or Maven sets of a shreaker. The darkness effect Maven gets is what makes Sky realize they're soulbound together. Max splits off from us to go loot around and Maven and I make a beeline for the enchanter. We stop in the redstone room as well and grab some sticky pistons for traps if need be.

We loot about a quarter of the Ancient together after that, before I set off a shreaker twice more and decide to leave myself since I don't want to summon a Warden. I leave and head up to the surface, before I get the darkness effect from Max and learn he summoned three Wardens the second I left. Which. Ok sure why not give me a heart attack.

Him and Maven both make it out ok though and we split the look evenly. I get out with a pair of diamond leggings, diamond boots, a swift sneak 3 book, and a feather falling 4 book. A few other things as well but that was everything of note.

The three of us head out from there and find a nice area near spawn to set a base up at. They set up some chests and collect some fish from a lake nearby while I terraform the area, and afterwards I split away to try and find other people. Stevie comes over to our area to say hi around when I'm leaving and leads me to another groups base.

Not too far away from us, Keno, Ren, Vin, and Jonah have all allied together in an alliance called The Fairies. I talk with them for a short while before Max messages me asking where I am, so I leave to lead him and Maven over. The moment they arrive, the pair steal from them and just generally cause minor annoyances before The Fairies decide they don't want to have us knowing where their base is and move away. On the way back home, we pass by Stevie and Meg's base.

At the house, we discuss the idea of teaming up with Log and Millie briefly before Maven spontaneously combusts in front of us due to Sky dying from a creeper. I split away from them again to try and find more people not much later.

On my travels I find The Fairies again who aren't happy to see me at first, thinking I have Max and Maven with me, but are fine once they realize its just me. That doesn't last long though, as Maven shows up after a few minutes asking if any of us know where Sky is since he's upset. But, using the power of my past-series alliance and a bit of misplaced trust with Sky, I get his base coords and share them with Maven, trailing a bit behind him to make it seem like I didn't share them.

I reach the coords and no one is at the house for a while, until Casp_Shield [Tango], TheToySoldier [Till], Sky, and Maven all show up together. Sky promises to repay Maven for getting them killed, and Maven leaves.

Not much of note happens after this point, I spend some time talking with Till and Sky, who I was married to the previous season and still technically am, before Max sends the message that the session is over. I tell sky I'm always around if he ever needs a friend since he's alone, having no alliance or soulmate, and then leave for my own base.

And thats where the session ends! Almost all the soulmate pairs are happy together minus Maven and Sky, and if things go well they should stay that way!
