so I was thinking about majima, as you do, and realized my original monster majima drawings were from 2021 which might as well be a hundred years ago so dang might as well draw up a new reference while im thinking about him

very tldr summary is standard monster au fare where part of the whole torture hole situation was getting cursed. he can hide it but its a very large strain on the body to be disguised all the time. hes kind of a story around kamurocho as sometimes people claim to have seen a weird beast skulking about dark alleys but its written off as a cryptid/urban legend situation.

what I want to see in season two:

Stede, who created "talk it through as a crew" and then promptly ignored it, makes it back to the Revenge. And he reunites with Ed, and he makes his apologies, and there's a tearful reunion where he learns what Ed went through when Stede left him alone on the dock. And Stede blames himself, not only for Ed's emotional trauma but everything that followed.

So when he has the opportunity to tell Ed what happened with Chauncey, he just doesn't. After all, he reasons, what Ed went through was so much worse, and Stede didn't even get hurt when he got kidnapped, only emotionally traumatized scared. So Stede does what he does best, and he bottles everything up for a later time.

Only that time gets later and later, until an innocent comment from Ed or one of the crew - maybe teasing Stede about being rich - leads to a complete emotional breakdown.

It doesn't matter if your story is of the same standard as theirs or holds up in quality or anything. What matters is what it made me feel and I thought it was cute, so on the list it goes.
