Canvas of color

The warm glow of the apartment lamps bathed the living room in soft light. Cuphead lay sprawled on the carpet, arms behind his head, as Bendy sat beside him, his tail swishing lazily while he dipped his brush into a mix of vibrant colors. The room smelled faintly of paint, and the only sound was the quiet strokes of the brush against Cuphead’s smooth ceramic skin.

Cuphead sighed in contentment, his eyes half-lidded as Bendy trailed his brush down his arm, leaving behind a swirl of blues, purples, and golden stars. “Y’know, I should let you do this more often,” he murmured, shifting slightly. “Feels nice.”

Bendy hummed, concentrating as he painted a tiny crescent moon near Cuphead’s wrist. “Told ya. Painting’s relaxing. And you—” he smirked, running the tip of the brush lightly along Cuphead’s ribs just to make him twitch— “are the perfect canvas.”

Cuphead let out a breathy laugh, flinching. “Bendy! That tickles, cut it out—”

“Oh? Does it now?” Bendy’s grin widened mischievously, his fingers hovering just above Cuphead’s sides.

Cuphead groaned dramatically. “If you start ticklin’ me, I’m dunkin’ your tail in the paint tray.”

Bendy snickered but relented, instead moving to Cuphead’s chest, smoothing out a constellation of golden stars across his collarbone with his fingertips. He took his time, running his hands over Cuphead’s body carefully, tracing the curves of his ceramic frame with gentle strokes.

Cuphead shivered—not from cold, but from something softer, something that made his heart beat just a little faster.

Bendy worked his way down, adding tiny doodles on Cuphead’s legs—little shooting stars, inky swirls, and delicate patterns. He painted a tiny smiling sun on one knee and a sleeping moon on the other, snickering to himself.

Cuphead cracked an eye open. “You laughin’ at somethin’?”

“Nah,” Bendy smirked, “just admiring my masterpiece.”

Cuphead huffed, shifting slightly as Bendy moved to his back. The ink demon carefully painted winding vines up his spine, little roses blooming between the curves of his shoulder blades. He traced each line with care, his fingers warm against the cool ceramic.

Cuphead sighed again, relaxing into the touch. "Y'know, you're gonna make me fall asleep like this."

Bendy grinned, dipping his brush into a soft shade of pink. “Not yet. Still gotta finish your face.”

Cuphead blinked, caught off guard. “My face?”

“Yup.”

Cuphead opened his mouth to protest, but Bendy was already leaning over him, gently tilting his chin. He painted a tiny heart on his cheek, the soft red standing out against his smooth ceramic skin. His touch was careful, deliberate, like he was afraid of breaking something precious. Cuphead found himself holding his breath, watching Bendy’s eyes flicker with quiet concentration.

Then, with a teasing smirk, Bendy added a few freckles of gold across Cuphead’s nose, his tail flicking playfully behind him. “There. Now you’re perfect.”

Cuphead blinked, feeling the warmth rise to his face. “Oh, so now I’m perfect?” he teased, tilting his head. “What was I before?”

Bendy leaned back on his heels, tapping his chin dramatically. “Mmm... still perfect. Just needed a little extra flair.”

Cuphead chuckled, shaking his head. He sat up slowly, careful not to smudge the still-drying paint. “You’re somethin’ else, ya know that?”

Bendy shrugged, setting his brush aside before grabbing a clean rag to wipe his ink-stained fingers. “Yeah, yeah. You say that like it’s a bad thing.”

Cuphead didn’t answer right away. Instead, he reached out, his fingers ghosting over Bendy’s wrist before gently guiding his hand to his chest, right over the little golden stars Bendy had painted earlier.

“Nah,” Cuphead murmured, his voice softer now. “I like it.”

Bendy blinked, his usual smirk faltering for just a moment before something gentler took its place. His fingers curled slightly against Cuphead’s chest, feeling the faint warmth beneath the ceramic surface.

For a while, they just sat there, the apartment filled with nothing but the quiet hum of the city outside and the soft ticking of the clock on the wall.

Then Cuphead, always one to break the silence, smirked. “Y’know, with all this paint, I almost don’t wanna move.”

Bendy snorted. “Then don’t. Stay right there, lemme admire my work.”

Cuphead stretched out again, arms behind his head as he flashed a lazy grin. “Well, if you insist…”

Bendy rolled his eyes, but he couldn’t hide the fondness in his expression.

And as the night stretched on, with Cuphead covered in swirling galaxies and Bendy’s hands still stained with color, they both knew, this moment, this simple warmth between them, was its own kind of masterpiece.

Everybody just needs a big ol’ hug and that’ll probably solve at least half of the problems in their world (I am not a scientist or anything like that, but I do know the effects of a good hug).

Ok, so this is the wall, in my bedroom which consists of many many fandoms or just topics I have grown to enjoy over time. A couple are outdated considering now, but they were pretty special to me when painting it. The wall was finished in 2023 on June 15.

Many were made by printing the logos/designs on my printer, tracing the backs really hard in a pencil, and then firmly pressing each design onto the wall so I had a stencil of what I was coloring in. Many are just designs I found on the internet at the time and others are just logos or things I thought would be a good symbol for said fixation at the time.

Did I want it to look different at the beginning? Yes, originally it was going to be the symbols or main characters in one big collage but I realized that I have zero art skills and it wouldn't ever be accomplished so I made the design more simple and now I really like how it turned out.

Do I wish a few were different now because of time or lack of interest? Yes and no. Yes, because I either don't like a certain topic at all anymore or I just could have something that I think represents me more on there but for right now I'm okay with how it is. No, because I look at this wall every day of my life, and seeing a certain square can remind me of a specific time in my life that I really enjoyed and I love that feeling.

Do I think that some of the squares are a little cringe now over time and how I have changed as a person? Absolutely but I could never ever get myself to get rid of those ones because they might be looked upon as weird or cringe now but at the time they helped me get through so many tough times that I can't get myself to get rid of those.

A few of these squares will definitely be changed but at least 97% of them I love seeing every day because of the memories and good times. I love my wall and it represents what I've liked over the years and that's okay. You should be able to like what you want without being criticized for it, hell I've debated posting this because I was scared that people were going laugh at the things on there but to be honest? Let me laugh with you as I remember how that square I cringe on now or how that square I would defend with my life. Just be you, that's all.

Haven't been posting art in a while, I've been a whole lot busy with school and its killing me.

It was quite night so far and Bendy is desperately trying to keep it that way.

He went out for drinks with his best friend and his other friend that his best friend’s girlfriend, And there were few problems with that.

Number one: he’s a recovering alcoholic and doesn’t wanna relapse Number two:he’s now the designated sober friend because of it and has to keep the two in check. Number three:he’s a third wheel. And number four:he just recently realized he has a crush on both of them.

So yea this was bound to be a cussed up situation, And Bendy is currently trying to make it not as cussed up if he can.

Cuphead and Holly were flirting, pretty quietly which was good but unfortunately they ruined it by being all over each other! And as much as Bendy hates to A:see them flirting and B:try to separate them he still has to do it cause he promised he wouldn’t let them do anything dumb.

So here he goes! Going right in between his friends/crushes so he can stop them from whatever they were trying to do!

As he did both Holly and Cup glared from being separated before going back to smiling once they realized it was Bendy.

“Hey guys you should really knock that out” even tho the demon tried to sound stern his voice came out broken and awkward earning a giggle from Holly.

“..like I said how about you two knock it out and drink some water so we can lEeep!” Bendy let out a very low masculine squeal as he felt something wet touch his neck, He didn’t have to turn around to know it was Holly who kissed his neck!

“Ohhh come oooon Bendyboy! Let loooooose a bit” she slurred giggling to herself as she gave his neck more kisses, “Holly-stop that! We should get going-“ He tried again to have his friends leave but neither of them listened to him.

He felt his chin being grabbed and pulled away from Holly to look at Cuphead, “….umm- hi?” Bendy squeaked out trying not squirm under his gaze,“Hello darlin~”.

NO! nope no nah uh! What hell!? Who gave this man the permission to be this hot!? Who gave him the permission to have this stupidity sexy voice!? No wonder he said he didn’t have a problem getting flings! He’d immediately agree to anything he’d ask of him if he wasn’t in a relationship! And drunk. He ain’t ever tried to do anything with someone intoxicated and he ain’t gonna start now!

“Ey kid!” The bartender yelled out making Bendy’s head turn to displeasure of Cup, “There’s a hotel right over us, I’ll give you a discount if you take those idiotic love birds out my bar!”

Normally Bendy would snap yelling that he ain’t a kid but he knows this bartender well and he knows that he calls everyone younger then him kid, Which everyone in the bar is this pig is old So he doesn’t say anything on it cause of it- and the fact he’s glad he can drag this idiots out without much of a fuss.

“Here you go! Thanks so much Luke!” He sets the money on the table and drags Cup and Holly up the stairs.

Neither of them complained which was good. But they kept flirting with Bendy which was bad.

Once they finally got in the room Bendy let out a huge sigh of relief, “You two are the worst! I’m never doing this agaHh!” He once again let out a very manly squeal.

“Stars you’re adorable~”. Hands. Up his shirt There are hands on his body!

Bendy garbed Cuphead’s hands trying to wiggle out his hold but before he could say anything he got cut off by Holly’s lips on his own.

Cuss he was losing himself, He could barely stand on his own feet let alone try to stop Cup from pulling his shirt up, Holly did not help one bit as she moved on to kiss his neck.

Only when he realized they somehow ended up on the bed did his brain make yell at him how wrong this was.

“Wait-STOP!” He pushed both them of with the strength he forgot he had, Both them stared at him in shock before looking like kicked puppies.

“What’s wrong?” Holly’s voice rang out sounding so innocent “were we too rough?” Cup asked worried.

“…this is wrong” was the only thing Bendy got out, Holly immediately looked hurt as Cup looked more and more worried “what?” They asked at the same time their voices shaky.

“This is wrong! You are both drunk and I’m not your partner! I just let you do whatever even tho I know you’re dating each other and are intoxicated! What the hell is wrong with me!?” Bendy continued rambling on with a shaking breath not noticing Holly smiling In relief from his response.

He started getting up, he wanted to leave them alone and wallow in his shame for letting this go in for as longs as he did,

Unfortunately Cuphead had other plans cause Bendy felt himself getting pulled back into the bed,.

“Wha- Cuphead let me go right now!” He responded but his response was muffled cause he had his whole face in his hair, “Huh?” Bendy questioned as Holly came to cuddle his other side. “I said no funny business! We won’t try or do anything ….just Stay with us…please?” He felt him hugging him tighter,

Stars. What was he supposed do? Say no?

He didn’t answer he just let himself relax in their hold

“We can talk about this in the morning” Holly’s sweet voice rang out as she gave him a kiss in the cheek.

As he started falling asleep he prayed to stars they wouldn’t remember any of this in the morning.

Cause he really didn’t wanna talk about it.
