I was watching a play through of Custom Robo: Battle Revolution and when this character, Marcia, appeared I immediately thought “oh wow real subtle Miku reference guys”

But it turns out that Custom Robo: Battle Revolution predates the existence of Hatsune Miku by 3 whole years

Perhaps the most in-depth aspect of Custom Robo (also known as Custom Robo: Battle Revolution) is the customization aspect of the player’s robotic avatar. Throughout the game, the player is able to gain access to different Chassis, as well as different Parts (Guns, Bombs, Pods, and Legs)  that interact with those Chassis therein, meaning that there are technically thousands of different potential combinations available for the player throughout the game. This means that, even if the player only dips into this system on occasion, they have the opportunity to make their gameplay style unique.
