Dropping this a few days early as I have a different plan for Father's Day! (It's a surprise, shhh! 🤫)

Context: Damien had gotten April and The Brood Children to help him create a gift for RU Sebastian using metal scraps, and a shiny gold finish. Damien constructed the trophy, April and the Brood filled it with items and trinkets their father would like. Then Damien tied string to the Trophy, 14 knots to represent the 14 children.

April: "Do you think Daddy will like our gift?"

Damien: "He's going to love it, I know he will."

They wait until the shop/home is calm and quiet before giving the gift to him, and RU Sebastian couldn't have been more touched, he even started crying (🥹)

Damien: "Happy Fathers day."

April: "HAPPY FATHERS DAY, DADDY!!!"

RU Seb: "Oh? For me? Aww... (Takes the Trophy in his hands, looking at it with awe.) Oh you guys... (Voice crack) Thank you so much for this."

RU Seb placed the trophy on a shelf he constructed over his personal work desk, keeping it near and dear always.

Scene: "It's okay, Tiny. Daddy's here."

(Simon was in his bedroom, Balaclava on his nightstand, his eyes looking a bit tired- His room was the one place in the house he could really be tired, he never showed that expression to his little girl, ever. He sighed and closed his eyes, until his thoughts were interrupted by a loud squeal. Tina.)

Tina: "AHHH! DADDY!! DADDY!!!"

(Simon was up and down the hall towards Tina's room in seconds, he found her sitting up crying in her bed, terrified. Nightmare.)

Simon: "Ey, sweetie... Shhh, Shhh... easy pumpkin... Take a breath... It's okay, Tiny... Daddy's here. What's wrong, poppet?" (He said softly (only taking that soft tone with Tina) as he knelt beside her bed.)

Tina: "(sniffle) I .... I had a bad dream! It was dark and scary and you weren't there and-" (begins sobbing, Simon's heart always cracked when he saw Tina cry.)

Simon: "Aww, sweetheart, it was just a dream, okay? You know I'd never leave your side... C'mere pumpkin." (He said as he pulled Tina into a grounding hug, her small form shaking.) "Listen pumpkin, I will never leave you... I'm always here, just a call away, okay?"

Tina: "(sniffle) I'm sorry, daddy...I-"

Simon: "Shh, poppet... You've nothing to be sorry for... Shhh..." (Simon begins to hum a soft song he knew Tina liked. She began to calm down, her shaking coming to a steady halt and cries turning into soft sniffles.) "Y'feelin' better now, sweetheart?"

Tina: (Nods) "... Daddy?"

Simon: "Yes, my little princess?"

Tina: "Can I sleep in your room with you?"

Simon: (Nods and kisses Tina's forehead.) "Of course, just rest easy poppet... I'll carry you."

(And he did, Simon picked her up and carried her to his room. He laid her on his bed and tucked her in before laying beside her. Tina fell asleep shortly after, gripping Simon's hand tightly in her small one. He kissed her forehead once more.)

Simon: "Sleep well, sweet girl."
