Doing figure studies everyday this week has changed me, how I approach the paper. Gradually, there's fluidity, more confidence in the line. . 1- and 2-min drawings are really scary! I've been doing them a lot, for years - but trying to build a short daily practice for this has really helped with that. I'm less resistance now and more excited to see what I can learn about the figure and what kind of marks I can make. .
