Daisuke swore if the clock ticked on for another minute he was going to strangle somebody.

Daisuke Kambe was a lot of things, some of them worse than the others, but one thing he would never be, something he hadn't allowed himself to be referred to as, was tardy.

However, his family seemed to be hellbent on ruining that carefully curated reputation of his, what with their delayed meetings and persistence in holding him back from walking out the front door at that very moment.

Being a Kambe certainly had its advantages, but that also came with a reputation he had to uphold. One that for once was working against him.

Words couldn't begin to explain how restless Daisuke was as he watched the clock tick on, with his feet almost automatically dashing towards the door the second he had signed the required papers.

Seeing you awkwardly stand beside the restaurant's reception dressed up in the outfit he had asked you to wear had Daisuke nervously gulping as his car rolled to a stop,

Your reassuring smile and nonchalant tone only served to worsen his guilt, with Daisuke trying to order the most extravagant things and constantly apologising.

It was only when you took matters into your own hands that he finally seemed to calm down, with the gentle hold your hand had on his somehow grounding Daisuke enough to allow you to lead him out of the restaurant and towards a random park he hadn't even noticed in his haste to get there.

Sitting on a bench outside eating ice cream and discussing your lives certainly wasn't what Daisuke had in mind for that date, but he found that even such simple and inexpensive experiences could bring him pleasure.

So, ever since the first season ended, the fandom has kind of died out a bit. Eventually, it reached a point where there was no new fanfics for Daisuke Kambe that I knew of.

This could mean one of two things:

1.) There are fanfics and stuff that I haven't come across.

OR

2.) People have moved on from the fandom (whom @sillyroyalty pointed out to me)

Which, if it's the first one, I'm glad because at least there are still people in the fandom doing stuff, you know?

BUT.

If it's the second one, I am very sad as the series is indeed great, but people can only write so many fics without making everything (such as personality traits) seem excessively repetitive). @sillyroyalty also pointed this out for me, so thank you for that!

Also, you are slightly shorter than Daisuke in this. He does wear shoe inserts that make him roughly 5’7”.

You saw him at a convention. No, not like ComicCon, but a gala, or rather a business function. He rolled up in a Chevy Corvette and stepped out, handing the keys off to the valet and buttoning the front of his pitch-black tuxedo suitcoat.

He was handsome, with slicked-back dark hair and mysterious eyes hidden behind sunglasses. And… did he have a pierced ear? Even more attractive. 

He had a woman next to him who had stepped out of the passenger side of the sports car. She was dressed in a sleek black dress and long black hair styled in an intricate updo. They looked alike, close enough to be related. You adjusted the hem of your own blazer and turned to grab a glass of champagne. 

There was no point in fantasizing over the unattainable. 

He was way out of your league anyway. 

You join in on the dancing, spinning away with dance partners as the hours pass, and you search for an opening. However, a wrench in your plans is apparent when you are twirled into the arms of the handsome young man you had spotted earlier. 

He’s even more handsome up close, and you can smell his expensive cologne. His sunglasses are nowhere to be found, probably folded away inside the inside pocket of his tux. 

But that’s not what throws a wrench in your plans. Instead, it’s the moment you meet his eyes. They’re a steely blueish-gray and all the more alluring. Fireworks erupt in your belly, and you almost trip over your feet. However, you are quick to recover without him noticing. 

You knew this feeling. It was the feeling of falling in love. You had felt it before, with your first love, who has long gone and left with your heart in pieces. It had taken years to heal yourself, and now you were scared of it breaking again. You couldn’t fall in love! You simply couldn’t!

But as you watch the man’s eyes widen almost inconspicuously, you realize he feels it too and quickly decide to break this off. 

“Sorry, I’ve forgotten something.” You quickly excuse yourself and head toward a side door. But, before you shut the door behind you, you look behind and catch his gaze once again. The door hurriedly closes behind you, and you are locked in a dead sprint. 

It doesn’t take long to find the host’s computer. But someone is already there. The woman who was with the man earlier (you really had to learn their names, this was getting exhausting). She was bent over a keyboard, tapping rapidly and lines of code appeared across the screen. The lights were off, save for the computer monitors (obviously), so you were bathed in blue light. 

The door slams shut behind you, and you jump, the woman does as well, turning, and her gaze flashes with surprise as you meet her eyes. Then you whip around to see who had shut the door, and you spot the man. 

He’s as good-looking as ever. That’s the infuriating part. 

“Do you have what you need?” His voice is deep, alluring, and smooth as honey. Damn it. He just keeps getting more attractive. But never mind that you have things to focus on! The woman unplugs and tosses a flash drive stick to him that he catches without looking. His eyes are trained on you as he slips it into his inside tuxedo pocket.  

“Just who are you?” You say, portraying an air of confidence. After all, you might as well put on a show, right? Throw them off your tracks, and don’t let them see how nervous you are, right?

“Kambe Daisuke. Who are you?” He says—more like demands—and you oblige. Equivalent exchange is polite, right? There’s no need to be rude. He says your name, and you shiver at the sound of it coming from his mouth. It sounded so sexy you couldn’t help but want to hear more. 

“Well, it’s nice to meet you, Daisuke, but I must be going now, so if you’ll excuse me—” His hand catches your wrist and yanks you back as you try to leave. You stumble, looking up into his eyes as your noses brush.

Your lips brush the corner of his own, and you are slipping away before he even registers what’s happening. His eyes are wide and uncharacteristically shocked. The woman behind you chokes on her own saliva as she stands, shocked. 

You’re gone before he realizes the flash drive is gone. You twirl it between your fingers, slip it into your inside pocket, and sprint down the hall. Finally, you make it to your car and peel out of the gala roundabout just as he bursts through the doors. 

His eyes are locked on your disappearing vehicle the entire time. 

Mission accomplished.

It was supposed to be a normal date but then again... nothing is normal when it comes to Daisuke

A/n: honestly it is a crime that there aren't many fics with Daisuke and Haru. However, I am here to deliver once more.

Pairing: Kambe Daisuke x reader

It had become a tradition at this point that whenever you and Daisuke went on a date, he would pick you up from your house with his 'humble' sports car and drive to a nice restaurant to dine. Maybe, if the night was still young, the two of you would go to a roof garden and have a cocktail or two. Pretty chill activities since Daisuke never settled for anything less.

Aside from some 'unexpected' dates, the two of you would go out every Friday night and if not to go to dinner then to take a walk around the park.

Today was Friday but Daisuke had suggested to go windowshopping -it never was JUST windowshopping- which was fine with you since it was holiday week and every single store would be decorated.

"Cartier or Harry Winston?" Daisuke fixed the black scarf around his neck before putting his gloved hand back in his coat's pocket.

"Buccellati." You replied nonchalantly.

"All three then." He sighed and his breath could be seen.

"Why are we here anyways? When it comes to walks you're always adamant on going to the park."

You received no reply however since Daisuke stopped walking and stared at a restaurant at the opposite side of the street. There were a lot of people outside, watching the workers who transferred few of the most expensive furniture inside with the outmost care.

"Well?"

"Do you think it will be ready by next Friday?" Finding his question slightly odd, you turned to look at him. He seemed to be deeply invested in the speed with which the workers brought the furniture inside, his eyes going back and forth between them and the workers on the rooftop of the restaurant who were building the bar.

"Does it matter?" You asked.

"Of course it does. I am paying for its construction." Daisuke seemed to notice how you blinked in question and turned his head just enough to look at you. "There aren't any other fine restaurants in town and you don't like travelling with a helicopter."

"So you bought the restaurant of this hotel?"

"No, I built the hotel." He shrugged.

"Why?"

"Because, I live to impress and I have too much money."

It is needless to say that the interior of the restaurant and the hotel on top of it had indeed been finished by the time you and Daisuke walked inside just a week later.

It was a sunny afternoon in the summer, the sky was a beautiful baby blue and the clouds were barely in sight! You were siting anxiously near the window at the back of the lecture theatre in college. You looked out of the window, trying not to get blinded by the bright rays shining through into the classroom, as you try to search for something outside to distracted you from your current distress.

Which was that you and your classmates are currently getting back your results for your (subject) major.

You see, you were always the 'bimbo' as people would call it as you would always be clueless about alot of the common things in the world. Such as how to do chores, answer subject questions correctly and even how to pass your examinations! As all you cared about most of the time was your interests; getting your nails done or shopping to look good.

However, this time was different , it was the last examinations that you would take before summer break! Plus, your sugardaddy, Daisuke had promised that if you had passed your exams even by one mark you would get a variety of rewards! This had helped you to be motivated and try to study and cram as much knowledge as you could into that airheaded head of yours could handle.

Soon, you could hear the teacher's heavy footsteps of his moccasins along the hallway as your classmates soon started to settle down and get to their seats. "Today, as you all know, you are getting back your results." The teacher spoke in a deep voice as he soon explained that after you have received the paper, you wouls have the rest of the period to digest the results before the school day ends.

The first name to be called was yours. However, when the teacher was calling out your name you were busy daydreaming so when you had snapped out of it, you had to quickly scamble towards the front of the classroom to get your results. You could almost feel the gaze of your classmates pierce through you as you ditzily went back to your seat.

You shut you eyes anxiously as you started praying to whatever was out there that would have mercy on you and bless you with pass. After doing a prayer, you reluctantly flipped over your paper and saw you result.

You rummaged into your small dior handbag as you tried to find you phone to text daddy daisuke about the fantastic news. Which he soon replied that it was splendid and he was coming to fetch you today and allow you to receive your reward for being such a good girl tommorrow!

Joy overfilled you as you struggled to sit still on your seat as you waites awaitingly for the bell to rang and dismiss you all!

Daisuke is fairly new to cooking as he's always had a butler do it for him. But we've seen how proud he was about learning to make a tasty dish for the first time. That aside, Haru would often talk about cooking, so by now Daisuke is fairly open to learning new dishes to cook. He will deny this and say there's no need for him to learn how to cook and he's only doing it because he wants to see you happy but you can see he's having fun and he's boasting about the final result

You decide to start with something easy as he is inexperienced. Probably an easy one-pot dish or street food.

If it's street food there are actually quite a lot of things he's never tried. He heard of most of them but only from the media.

He's still....struggling with the knife. Don't even attempt to guide his hands, this is just going to distract him and increase the chances of him accidentally cutting his finger. "It's bleeding", he just says dryly and looks at you. You sigh and shake your head, reaching for the band-aid. Daisuke is pouting about the fact that you already expected something like this to happen and put them on the counter next to you.

You put the band-aid on his small cut and press a kiss to his hand. He's hesitating for a moment, looking at you with curiousity. "Why?", he just asks. "So it heals faster", you smile at him. He's confused. "Do it again." You chuckle and press another kiss to his knuckles before cupping his cheeks and giving him a kiss on the lips.

Daisuke is having some issues to properly understand the instructions on the recipe sometimes. He thinks caramelizing onions means putting caramel on them. When you explain what it actually is he furrows his brows. "Why don't they just say that then?"

"With 'seperate the egg' what do they mean? Crack it open? Separate the yellow from the white?"

When you cook something, he wraps his arms around you from behind and rests his head on your shoulder, watching you curiously. Occasionally he presses an appreciative kiss to your neck and nuzzles your skin while closing his eyes.

He's actually pretty careless when it comes to spilling things. Will end up with stains of tomato sauce etc. all the time on his white shirts. "Daisuke-" "It's fine this was only 65400 yen."

You hold your head. "Evil capitalist..." This gets a chuckle out of Daisuke and he presses a kiss to your cheek.

When you put the final result on the plates he's like "What about the side dishes and the appetizers and the dessert? Aren't we going to make that too?" "We're not making a dinner with several courses."

He absolutely adores the dish. You can see how proud he is of having made this and he's basically waiting for you to tell him excitedly how much you like it.

This is the reason he'll occasionally start asking HEUSC for 5 star recipes and attempts preparing them for you. He's....not THAT successful with that since those are way above the difficulty level he can currently master. So he begrudgingly resorts to simpler recipes again or asks Haru for help. Literally just sends him a text like "Come to my house" without any additional information and Haru thinks it's work-related until Daisuke leads him into the kitchen and is like "I need to prepare dinner for y/n."

He's having the sweetest smile on his face when you like the dish he cooked. He'll pull you into a hug after you have finished eating and just holds you for a while.

Haru is experienced with cooking so if you're a beginner, he's perfectly able to teach you how to make a tasty dinner. If you cook for yourself regularly as well, he'll be happy to exchange tips and recipes with you.

He always invites you over to cook with him. When you knock on the door of his small apartment, he smiles at you and wraps you into a tight embrace before he presses a kiss to your lips. He grabs his wallet and keys and you're off to the grocery store around the corner.

Haru and you always go grocery shopping together and you share the bill. He always gets you a little something like an ice cream or your favorite candy to remind you he loves you and to see you smile.

Back at his apartment you prepare the ingredients together. Haru occasionally glances at you from the side and can't help but smile. Somehow you doing such simple things like cutting vegetables or inspecting the recipe makes him realize how much he loves you. Doing domestic things with you always makes him look forward to spending his future with you.

He'll also often wrap his arms around you from behind and loves when you do the same. "I love you", he smiles at you and kisses you softly.

Occasionally will feed you some of the ingredients, like a cheese cube or a slice of tomato etc.

When the food is in the oven or currently cooking, Haru spends the time with you sitting on his lap and snuggling you. He often uses these moments to talk about your day and what he did at work today. Of course he leaves out all the confidential stuff, but there's always something happening that he can tell you about. Sometimes he complains about Daisuke. "And then he bought the entire mall just to put it on lockdown so the criminal couldn't flee the building-"

You taste the food together to see if it still needs some spices.

He always listens to your input and values it greatly.

He even tries to make the dinner look fancy. He puts a vase with flowers on the table and lights up some candles.

He's very relieved and happy when you like the dinner he made. He'll often surprise you with a dessert he made earlier before you arrived and stored in the fridge until now.

Sometimes when you text him that you had a stressful day he'll prepare dinner for you on his own to surprise you. He'll guide you to the table and presses a kiss to your lips, asking you to let him spoil you today. "You deserve some rest", he smiles and caresses your cheek.

After you finished eating he'll carry you to the bathroom to take a bath with you or to the bed if you need to sleep. Either way, he'll hold you close and nuzzles your cheek with a peaceful smile on his face.

When you two bake together, once or twice the original plan had escalated into a flour fight. "I hate us for having to clean this up now", you sigh and Haru laughs, chucking another hand of flour towards your shoulder.

You pout and he cups your face and presses multiple kisses to your lips.

Sometimes he'll bring things you baked to his workplace and shares them with his colleagues, slightly bragging about how his awesome s/o made these delicious treats. He's super proud of you.

1. wangxian (lan wangji x wei wuxian), from mo dao zu shi — they are THE moment, they are THE couple, they are THE goals. who ever could have imagined someone would come up and write a troublemaker who falls into demonic arts and gets reincarnated to fight together with a sucker-for-rules expressionless man and make it work? they fit into any au as well, this fandom rocks. my lovely cultivators!

2. kagehina (kageyama tobio x hinata shouyou), from haikyuu!! — i dont even play volleyball. i dont even like sports! why do i love this anime and this duo specifically so much? they are so passionate about their hobbies, the rivalry and frenemy relationship? the POTENTIAL. the STORY they have. the "someone better will come and find you" promise. sheer beauty. they are silly and fresh and cute and i dont think i'll ever get tired of it.

3. yizhan (wang yibo x xiao zhan), from the untamed cast rpf — i know all the problematics about writing real person fiction. i KNOW, okay?? but people, let me like them and support them in peace?? 😔 i have so much love for these men, and its overall hella fun following their life unfold, even if they are not working together anymore. nonetheless, they are my dose of serotonin when i need it.

4. daiharu (kambe daisuke x katou haru), from fugou keiji: balance unlimited — i will not scream for a seson 2 here. i will scream for more FICS of them here! there ain't enough! its not even about the 'sugar daddy' appeal, its more about the 'partners in (solving) crime' appeal. oh and also the 'i hate you you arrogant prick but i WILL do anything for you' part. everything and every detail of this show.... seriously though: gold.

5. hilson (gregory house x james wilson), from house m.d — oh, my sweet stupid and repressed doctors, i would do unspeakable things for you. wilson has been through every hard moment of house's life. you can name them, he's been there. through every ridiculous situation of his too. it is overwhelming, honestly. the ending couldn't have been more reasonable and fitting for them, in my opinion.

6. hannigram (hannibal lecter x will graham), from hannibal — this gif alone of them with scratches and smiling conspiratorily to each other sums up their entire dynamic. they're toxic and no one's doing it like them. like, yeah, no shit, who would even dare, right? murder husbands can do anything and eat the rude as much as they want, i will be sipping on my drink and watching intently. (man truly looked at this detective he framed for murder and said he would remember their moment together forever??? just dont throw him in jail then???)

7. shiguang (lu guang x cheng xiaoshi), from link click — these pretty boys traveling through time invented the concept of yearning, and i will not explain more to not give season 2 spoilers. i fell in love with them as soon as i saw the first shot of the anime. it doesnt help that they have the same dynamic as wangxian, too. cheng xiaoshi, my beloved, you would never do anything to harm anyone (not purposefully) and i (as well as lu guang) worship you 🙏

8. renga (hasegawa langa x kyan reki), from sk8: the infinity — let's be true tho, can they never do a sports anime without pulling up homosexuals?? not that im complaining at all. please continue, in fact. every couple in this story is valid (adam does not exist), and i love this spirited, young concept of redescovering the beauty of a hobbie. lovely, all of them, but most specially my langa and his admiration for reki. their dynamic has no complications, its just so sweet.

9. moshang (mobei jun x shang qinghua), from the scum villain self-saving system — i will not share a pic of moshang official art because i find shang qinghua appearence too much childlike and annoying, meanwhile i find him much more interesting in the book and fanarts. in any case, i love this couple more than the main couple simply because our airplane-bro can make everything so hilarious. there are fics of them out there which are peak entertainment (check this one!). mobei's tsundere attitude and shang qinghua's shamelessness are a great combo.

10. hualing (hua cheng x xie lian), from heaven official’s blessing — the longing is unbearable. hua cheng loves this man so much, for real. waiting 800 fucking years?? being his most devoted believer? can you believe the audacity?? my man, though he has low self-steem, does anything to protect his god. he doesnt care about any realm. he only cares for xie lian, his dear god. they are the cutest couple.

bonus: aziracrow, johnlock, tododeku, victuuri, blackbonnet, mafuyama, redblue (from this is how you lose the time war).

these are my favorite ships ever! they are what i scream about alternatively, and when i say so, i'm not joking. one week i'm freaking out over new link click content and in the other one i'm reviewing house m.d episodes. my life's a circle with my favorite ships in it and i ain't regretting anything.

Author’s Note: Guys let me tell you how much I loved writing this. He is the first anime man that I have gotten to write for and I am just over the moon happy. I hope you guys enjoy this!

If anyone knew Daisuke Kambe they would say he’s blunt and doesn’t care about anything. But there was one thing he cared about more than anything. It was you. You lit up his world the moment he laid his eyes on you. So, seeing you come home in tears from the stress of work practically killed the man. 

You kicked your heels off before going straight to your shared room. You tried to be quiet, not wanting to wake your husband up but right as you sniffled, the light turned on. Daisuke looked at you with concern before rushing over to you. “What happened?” He immediately asked as he grabbed your hands.

“Work.” You muttered. Daisuke looked at you to continue. You wrapped your arms around him as you spoke, “My boss is such a bitch. I don’t understand how she thinks I can get six different things done  as I still haven’t finished what I need to get done.” He rubbed your back as he listened to you rant.

He kissed your head before moving away from you. A slight smirk grew on his face when he heard you groan. “I’m going to run us a bath. We’ll have a nice soak and I’ll help you relax.” You blushed as you Daisuke led you into the bathroom.

“Strip.” Daisuke commanded as he started the water. You quickly obey as your cheeks become darker. Insecurities began to fill your mind as you stripped. You and Daisuke have been married for a few years now but you’re still not fully used to him seeing you so vulnerable. 

The sound of water moving broke you out of your thoughts. You looked to see Daisuke sitting in the tub with his hand out. You gave him a slight smile before taking his hand, getting into the warm water. You sighed with relief as you began to fully relax. You laid your head back on Daisuke’s shoulder as exhaustion began to consume you. 

Daisuke smiled before kissing your head once more. “Good night, y/n.”

Hello! Please call me Nexus or Zy. I am in my 20s, I write in 3rd POV and can do couple of sentences but this depends on how many lines my roleplay partner could write. As for what I am looking for a roleplay partner they must be 19+ years of age we may chat in discord or tumblr messages either is fine as well as roleplay in any of these two. My replies could sometimes be late and take a week to make mainly because there are some school works that I need to do before making the roleplay.
