the way he has to send phil away in order to be self-introspective, regretful, and sad reminded me when they said in dystopia daily that dan had tried to move away from phil because he was too “comfortable” and phil was just like “no.”

AND THE WAY that after dan completed his introspective journey in his queer identity and was super overwhelmed he called for phil to help.

One time I suggested watching Dan and Phil Games to someone because I genuinely thought they would like it and they told me they wouldn't ever watch dnpg because they don't want to be "one of those gays."

so since the first time i watched the dan pride inside his brain video the song playing in the background when he talks to his younger self has been in my head and it REFUSES TO LEAVE

and i have done all the research i can like i shazamed it, i sang it to my alexa, i posted the clip privately to tiktok to see if it would tell me what song was included in the video, i found the transcript of the video to see if it would credit it, i searched spotify "pop punk" playlists for HOURS to see if i coudl recognize it, i looked for music credits in the bio but there alas there is nothing 😭

i dont even know if its a real song or if they just made it up for the video (but then again thats so much effort so idk if theyd do that) BUT IF ANY OF U KNOW PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME SO IT CAN EXIT MY BRAIN
