I REALLY wish studios would stop giving all the characters in their fantasy shows/movies/games the exact same Not-British accents. It's fine for some to have it but please I'm so tired of it. and I need voice claims. I respect Hades as a game but it's a perfect example, because why do the GREEK gods have British and American accents. I KNOW accents are easier named than done, especially convincingly, but if Assassin's Creed can do it...

It's a small touch but I do think it really goes a long way in improving immersion and creating more memorable, distinct characters.

#I settled for giving Tarinne a vc with an american accent and I'm salty #but also relieved because at the very least I finally found a woman with a naturally deep voice + the right amount of vocal fry #i don't like fantasy characters having american accents either but i'll take it over british lmao #no hate i'm just very tired of british elves and I REFUSE #(ylrith gets a british pass because it fits her archetype)#whatever just... imagine Tarinne's got a Danish/Nordic twinge here and there #her r's are at the back of the throat or tapped/rolled and not the ABOMINATION that is the american r #and so on
