Sonic Movie writing practice

This isn't the first writing practice that I posted but I took down the first one because I wasn't happy with it and I will rewrite it completely when (if) I have the motivation to do so. For now, please enjoy this incomplete writing practice I did out of boredom

Stone looked at the cobalt speedster, glowering at the sight of his enemy. "Now I'd love to stay and chat" said Sonic with his familiar snark "But I have to make sure my family is okay." The hedgehog began to turn, quills raised in a clear defensive manner which didn't appear to match such a confident demeanor.

"And if they aren't?"

Sonic froze, for a moment, Stone wondered if Sonic thought the worst. And soon, their eyes met. There was an emotion, a burning rage, Robotnik had definitely seen before, and one Stone saw often in his love's eyes when that rodent was brought up, though Stone hadn't gotten close enough to any of the Wachowski family to witness it himself.

Sonic's mouth opened. Stone expected a snarky comment or some kind of sarcastic retort.

"If they aren't okay..." the tone wasn't like that. Nothing of the sort, venom dripping down with each word spoken. Even Sonic's demeanor no longer held that confidence and attitude he became known for, leaving only an uncharacteristically still stance as he stared directly into Stone's eyes. Was his fur always that dark? "Then, you better hope you can run faster than me"

me and my friend had an idea yesterday of Team Chaotic having their own show, each episode is a different case and each character has their own style for their thoughts

Charmy's is in bright crayon drawings

Vector's is in a film noir style

Espio's being in some kind of gritty comic style or something, my friend said something like the Spawn comics

so yeah you got these silly guys solving cases and such, Sonic would barely appear in it, tbh Team Dark would appear more due to the Chaotix getting in over their heads and stumbling into something they probably shouldn't have.

They might even make things worse sometimes,,, leaving a bit of a mess for Team Dark to deal with (Rouge making sure the other two members of her team don't 'punch/shoot first ask questions later' to the detectives) but hey, maybe they end up paying rent due to G.U.N. buys their silence,,, maybe Rouge pulled some strings for them.

the episode names would follow a theme of "the case of the-" or something, even if the job they have that episode isn't exactly a case. like idk babysitting duty or something, or just running errands and we get to see small interactions with the other characters (like helping Vanilla with groceries, or running to grab flour for Amy, getting parts for Tails since Sonic is out)

okay sorryyyy long ramble about the dark beginnings teaser/sxs gens in general incoming. i feel like what we see in the teaser is . well "not real" probably isnt the right way to put it but i dont think its an actual direct flashback to shadows past. i think that shadow is trapped in his own memories. most obvious evidence for this is that the whole story of sonic generations is sonic revisiting his past adventures because of the time eater and eggman messing up the timeline so it makes sense that shadows story which is happening at the same time would be a similar situation. also theres these weird glitchy effects at certain points in the teaser which i think are meant to imply something isnt right here

also sidenote absolutely Haunting how maria grabbing his hand is what triggers it and we specifically see gun soldiers among the glitches. anyway. shadow also noticeably gasps/flinches when it happens which makes it seem like he saw it too

also based on all the promotional stuff we've seen so far black doom seems to be the main antagonist of shadows campaign. and its shown in shadows game that black doom has some level of access to shadows mind/memories and will use that to his advantage. like he literally made shadow watch the ark raid again and went "look what they did to you arent humans terrible". so this does feel like something hed be willing to do . or maybe its not Just black doom doing this maybe part of it is also caused by the time eater but the emphasis on black doom makes it seem like hes at least partially responsible

and speaking of black doom i dont think that he literally came back from the dead i think that the timeline being messed up just allowed him to show up again despite being dead. unless theyre gonna reveal that he survived somehow but idk him showing back up after all this time Specifically in a time travel related game makes me think he did die

idk how to end this post. shadow wasnt at sonics party because he was busy reliving his trauma for the millionth time

i like it where there's sonadow, knuxouge and then tails and omega have a strong bond for no reason other than 'well if they're all dating we may as well be friends.' there's a team dark/sonic meetup every week and so they just became friends over 'this is so boring we may as well be friends tbf

oh yeah, i love sonic the hedgehog (shadow)! sonic (shadow) is such an iconic member of today's gaming industry! his likable personality (shadow) and nuanced characters (shadow) have always drawn me in (shadow) to the extensive franchise! sonic games (shadow the hedgehog 2005) are an interesting mix of story and action and hold a special place in my heart (shadow).

Shade the Echidna !!

I felt like replicating one of her official artworks since the majority of them are super low resolution and I've been seeing people struggle drawing fanart because of it.

I tried to get as close as I could to her design, and carefully color picked her palette using her in-game sprites for the closet color matches.

(This image is mirrored for some reason, it should be the other way around.)

I've seen a handful of fanart where her colors aren't quite right, sometimes she's more orange than she actually is (probably the fault of the official art having a colored overlay), her markings are often drawn as some kind of cream or tan color. It's actually more of a bright pastel pink! Her bodysuit also often is drawn incorrectly due to the resolution of the source images, and I don't blame you, I've drawn it wrong too.

I'm also including a flat color version with her accurate colors too! Feel free to color pick from it or use it as a reference for drawing!

You're lucky I haven't written an idea where Kafka adopts three kids from different franchises like Movie!Sonic, OoT/MM Link and Hatching Second Can!Psaro. He would do it too despite the insane shenanigans.

A Pokemon Trainer would be the perfect person to help Psaro understand that not all humans are bad. Especially if they have Pokemon who were either troubled souls or no one ever gave a chance until they came along. It would be hook, line, and sinker as Psaro definitely want to meet them when there's rumors of a peculiar human child with strange monster companions. Plus Rose needs backup if she really wants our dear cambion to understand.
