I don't watch this show so which is guess why I got the furries one. I've seen bits of the one with the goth girl in it; I think it's the navy one? I've known people who sell their used underwear since 2001, so it fits

Happy freaking New Year guys. It's been a long time since I was busy resting, being in pain and suffering from social anxiety. But I'm back as my resolutions are to draw everyday, respect and at the same time take care of my physical and mental health, be more on schedule as it'll help both my business and my health, and focus only on what matters. All this talk about The Goldfinch and Donna Tartt’s inability to have a plot make me think of something. ( @wellntruly @darkartsandcrafts @rollono )

when I was in college I took a course from Dr Shippey (world renowned Tolkien and Lewis scholar who for some unknown reason was doing like a semester at my tiny ass college in the midwest.) And one day in the middle of a rant about how Paganism is made up but Vikings are cool, he gets on an eve longer rant about how every book that "literary people" say is good or important is either complete bullshit or unreadable nonsense. And every English and classics department are just having circle jerks about how smart and cool they all are.

Quote from this that I remember:

“I’m glad Virginia Woolf killed herself and save me the trouble.”

“Ulysses is not only horrible and unreadable but it’s written by a pervert and its word masturbation without any original thought.” (He called like nearly every male writer a pervert or a pedophile.)

“If an English or Classics Department tells you to read it know that the books is absolute garbage and has no soul.”

Listen he stood in front of a room or nerds and english majors and basically said “read fantasy and fuck english majors.” And then we were told to go read Return of the King.

I mean I’m sure he thought it was noble, but he’s been supremely shady since day one, and I think Michael and the rest of them having to deal with a captain who’s terrible is an interesting story to tell. There is going to be mirror-verse episode, so maybe mirror-Lorca will be nice.
