spare me this - anakin skywalker
pairing: anakin skywalker + fem!reader
summary: the council assigns you on a deathly solo mission, forbidding anakin to join you.
warnings: angst (i don’t know what is wrong with me!! i am addicted to writing it now), mentions of injury and death, anakin is so sweet and sosososo in love it’s almost pitiful, fluff
a/n: i feel like i put a part of my soul in this. i feel so drained but finishing this feels SO rewarding. another day for firsts! this is my first time writing for anakin, or anything star wars related :) this has been sitting in my drafts for MONTHS. i figured, while i still feel motivated to write, let me finish this!!! hope you all enjoy <3 i loved writing it
Tumblr media
“three days.” you repeated faintly.
you disliked how quiet anakin was at times. it often left you more troubled than relaxed.
you frowned when he didn’t look at you from his stubborn stare at the ceiling. sighing softly, you mimicked his eyes and looked upwards, your neck rested against the headboard of the bed.
“we will come back victorious, and we will be right here. together again.”
the night before your mission’s departure, you slept in anakin’s room. it would have been much easier to ignore him, act like he didn’t exist for a while. the two of you were far too dependent on one another. the love sometimes felt overwhelming.
however, anakin’s fear was far too evident. it was strong - too strong to the point where you genuinely believed someone else could detect it. you decided that if you could soothe his worries, he’d be relieved of his thoughts.
but anakin didn’t speak. he refused, and his body simply forbid him from trying. not a touch or word was directed at you. it had almost been an hour of pure silence.
unbeknownst to you, there was a helpless feeling of uncertainty that anakin could clearly sense from you. that was what was driving him crazy.
bloodshed was a promise, you already knew it. your master had spoken grimly about the mission, and it was anakin who realized - much quicker than you - that this battle would not end seamlessly.
there was a large, if not, inevitable chance of you coming back alarmingly injured.
you were calculated, strong, and reliable. it was you who the council had chosen to lead the mission.
they were selfish, anakin believed.
“obi-wan knows this will kill me.”
anakin bleakly spoke, his voice muffled by the blanket he had brought up to his face. you decided against expressing your surprise to the sound of his voice.
while obi-wan had no idea about the true nature of your relationship with anakin, he was aware that you served as each other’s weaknesses. jedi code called for the banishment of any attachments, though obi-wan knew he himself had begun to break them when he started to form a brotherly bond with his once-padawan. he held no room for judgement.
while you hadn’t spent nearly as much time with him as anakin had, you felt very fond of him. there was a certain soothing atmosphere that only seemed to arrive in his presence.
secretly, obi-wan had pulled you aside mere hours after your mission was announced. his voice was low as he spoke, and he had gently held your arm the entire time.
“you come back within your scheduled arrival, and everything will be fine. i cannot promise you we will be at ease if you take longer.”
and, of course, through unknowing ears this was a simple comment - a statement of encouragement, really. but it was a completely different story when you could see the true intentions in his words.
anakin would not be at ease, is what he had wanted to say.
and obi-wan was right. from the moment you explained your mission to anakin, he had gone silent. you had been in your room, slowly walking in circles as you counted the tasks you were required to fulfill on your journey.
you hadn’t noticed how awfully pale your jedi had become.
now in present, you realized he had never left his stage of shock.
anakin hated this. he hated how guilty he felt for the resentment he had towards your capabilities. you had impressed the council too much, and it had put you in a dangerous position. he hated how careless you tried to sound, and he hated how you only gave the reply of “yes, master” when being told the instructions of your suicide mission. most importantly, he hated how he was forbidden to join you.
“how do i live? how do i function when you could be dead at any moment?”
you froze, eyes widening.
anakin’s words were cold, and you fought the urge to feed into his frighteningly grim thoughts.
pursing your lips briefly, you forced a smile, brushing back his hair from his forehead. anakin was laying on his back, eyes still narrow and focused upwards. you tried to keep the mood light, attempting to add a little amusement to calm the tense atmosphere his question had made.
“we’re both aware i’m capable enough to handle myself. i used to beat you during training, and i saved you from-“
your playful smile faded, and you gave up talking once you realized he had started to look up at you.
anakin knew you were strong. he didn’t need to hear your reassurance, especially when he knew even you were undoubtedly terrified.
for a while, he just stared at you. it wasn’t intimidating - he could never direct an emotion like that at you - but you felt exposed, almost as if you should shield your face.
anakin felt troubled, trying to piece together all his discomforting emotions clearly. to have you so close seemed to be a punishment. you shouldn’t be here. he shouldn’t be seeing the worry in your eyes, or watching the slight furrow of your brows. although, there was something so beautiful about your concern. he wasn’t made to feel these kinds of emotions, especially ones that one mere person could provide.
for a moment, he wished he didn’t know you. selfishly, he knew that would relieve him of the pain.
“anakin,”
his name that only ever sounded right when you said it.
“what’s the matter, ani?”
there were no protests made when you moved closer to him. the security and serenity he felt with your arms around him made it feel impossible to refuse.
anakin trusted you with his life. he’d give you his life in a heartbeat. he’d do anything for you. and yet - why couldn’t you help him believe you would be okay on this mission? it was cruel, picking on his one and only weakness. his heart, which you held so effortlessly. his mind consisted of you, you, you.
with a shaky sigh, he spoke.
“you’re scaring me.” he quietly admitted.
his eyes were glossy, nearing a depressive red. his stare was piercing. you weren’t sure you wanted his attention anymore.
confused, though mostly alarmed, you continued to look back at him. scaring him?
“you think you’re going to die, don’t you?”
your eyes widened, and suddenly you felt very vulnerable being in front of him.
“anakin - what?” you stumbled out, shaking your head in surprise. he couldn’t be serious. you attempted to talk, reassure him that you would be fine, but his gaze was unfocused. he didn’t want to listen to your futile words. anakin knew you better than anyone else.
“please, do not lie to me.” he whispered, and in that particular moment, you had never seen him so small. “spare me that.”
anakin skywalker, the reckless jedi who consistently charmed his way through trouble. someone who was so spontaneous, yet brilliant.
love kept him going. it wasn’t unrequited. he knew that more than anything. love got him up in the morning. love was adrenaline. love was everything and so much more.
he couldn’t bare losing it.
“i-“ you shook your head again, pausing briefly to lay beside him. a hand was placed on his cheek, and you caressed his face gently.
anakin’s eyes closed, and once more he felt a wave of anger pass through him. he hated the council, he hated the jedi. he hated everything to do with this. they were trying to take you from him. your sweet touches, your soft voice, your caring nature. he felt so bitter it hurt.
you pursed your lips, letting a sigh escape you.
“i will tell you this.“ you whispered, cupping a hand around his soft face. “i am scared. i act like i am not because that is what i must do.”
for the past couple of hours, anakin had assumed that hearing you admit your fear out loud would put his mind at ease. maybe, if you admitted you weren’t invincible, he could convince you to take extra care of yourself.
but your words had the opposite effect on him.
you were scared. and he wouldn’t be there to help.
“i cannot promise you i’ll be unscathed, anakin, but i can promise that i will come back to you.”
it took everything in you to not break in front of him.
you forbid him from continuing the conversation further after that.
when the morning you had dreaded arrived, you silently awaited for a signal on your commlink to commence your departure.
you had left anakin, quietly pleading for him to stay optimistic during your absence. he had helped you get dressed. his touch was like a feather, gently escorting you to a hell you could only hope would be generous to you.
weapons were hidden under your robes, as usual. two lightsabers, because you had learned from anakin years ago that an extra could never hurt.
you couldn’t help but wonder if he felt possibly felt guilty.
anakin had trained you, hoping that an increase in your skill would payoff on the battlefield to solely keep you safer when he wasn’t around.
but you had surpassed his expectations. and now, you were in this position.
it had been an honor to be praised so highly. though, you quickly found that, in reality, it was not something to completely look forward to. anakin’s worry being the main reason.
when your commlink finally sounds off, you waste no time in leaving.
three days, you had claimed to anakin.
when you finally return, a week had gone by.
and just like you had repeated to anakin so many times before - you were victorious.
though, not unscathed.
“medical-“ you breathed heavily, your hand glued to your side as you stepped out of your starfighter, your heart pounding in upmost fear as you realized your vision had begun to blur.
you couldn’t tell who grabbed you first. it wasn’t anakin, you knew that by muffled noise of calm reassurance. if anakin were here, he would have the entire building burned to the ground in seconds. if it weren’t for the excruciating pain you felt everywhere, you could have chuckled at the thought.
“requesting medical attention - yes, this is urgent.”
blinking as quickly as you could, which looked evidently labored, you watched as obi-wan spoke through his commlink.
yours had broken days ago, leaving you stranded with no communication. retreating was never an option in your mind, and you stupidly had fought until your mission had succeeded.
the consequences of your actions truly haunted you as you were lifted on to a table, the strong scent of medication telling you that, yes, your wound was as bad as it felt, if not worse.
and finally, the mask put over your mouth lulled you to a more painless state of sleep.
upon the first few seconds of opening your eyes, you tried to immediately close them again.
of course, anakin was right next to you.
you heard him jolt in his seat, repeatedly calling your name as if you would die if he stopped. his voice sounded hoarse. gently, you reached your arms out, silently begging for him to touch you. you needed his embrace. you can not have gone through all this effort for nothing. he was why you had tried so hard to survive. without a word, anakin complied to your silent request. his hands cupped your face, while yours did the same to him.
his chest was shaking with uneven breaths.
“i made it back - just like i said, right?” you spoke quietly, smiling through a wince. joking was never the way to handle serious situations with anakin, but fuck, you really couldn’t handle how broken he looked.
he didn’t smile. he hadn’t taken your eyes off of you, almost as if you would disappear the second he looked away.
“don’t ever do this to me again.”
you quickly stopped speaking at his tone. unstable and hurt. you can’t promise that to anakin. it would be selfish. you help people - your mission had hopefully saved thousands. what is one life to lose if it can save so many more? you’re skilled, why not use your potential for something extraordinary?
“leave the order with me.”
your eyes widen, bigger than you mean them to.
“i-i can’t do that.” you reply immediately, shaking your head in his gentle grasp. leaving the order was nearly unspoken of - all of these years training, dedicating your life - what would it have been for? you can’t leave. people need you - the galaxy needs you.
you would have anakin, but could you live with yourself? all these years, you’ve been taught to be selfless, so why is anakin proposing such an idea?
you’re sure he can see the conflict on your face.
“you almost died.”
his bluntness forces to you remember the stinging pain on your side. you shake your head.
“that’s a part of the job.” you speak firmly. “i would be injured a hundred times over if it meant someone won’t be.”
anakin immediately lets go of your face.
“listen to me,”
it’s nearly a full-body sob, and you watch as he stands straighter, attempting to compose himself.
you feel your heart drop to your stomach.
“you’re hurting me - i don’t care if i’m being selfish! i love you. i love you more than anything, and i know i cannot live without you.”
anakin skywalker’s love for you was almost pitiful. he himself nearly couldn’t stand it. how can one person cause so much heartache? why is it possible to care for someone as much as he does for you? his outburst was childish, and he’s aware. but he needs you to see him, so raw, so authentically. maybe if you could see the pain he was in, you would spare him more easily.
“anakin…” you whispered, so quietly you almost doubted he heard you.
the reality was, you tended to push anakin away. you were hesitant to love him. you felt greedy whenever you allowed yourself to love him so deeply. you were meant to serve others, not have feelings of your own. anakin was your weakness, and that scared you more than anything. if you were going to be powerful enough to save millions, it would be foolish to have a flaw.
but, clearly, anakin didn’t care about weaknesses. he had you, and loved you with open arms, and despite this, he preformed better than you in nearly everything. how does he manage?
“i love you too much.” his voice was defeated, and the anger he had previously held dissipated. “obi-wan saw me sulk after the three days. he stopped me from seeing you when you arrived.”
you nodded slowly. it made sense, you couldn’t imagine the scene that would have occurred if it had been anakin carrying your half-conscious body. anakin skywalker reacted according to his feelings. he was spontaneous.
you sighed quietly.
“i would never leave the order, anakin. i wouldn’t be able to live with myself.” you spoke, and winced as you visibly saw him tense.
you had to be honest with him.
reaching a hand out, you grabbed his, gently interlocking your fingers.
“but, i can promise you that i will never take a mission like that. it was reckless, i know. i’m so sorry.”
he didn’t speak, taking a seat on your bed.
he was unsatisfied, you knew that.
but you couldn’t change the entire trajectory of your life for him just because he worries you’ll get hurt. it would be wrong, and you know, though he won’t say it out loud, anakin agrees with you.
he allows himself to give into desires. it’s not because he feels he’s “deserving” of them, but because it’s something that comes so natural to him. so why must it be wrong to love you?
anakin is confident with your abilities. he knows how strong you are. but it’s second-nature for him to worry. you’re something so precious to him in this world of despair.
so he’ll stay silent and let you do whatever you please. he cannot hold you back, and he’s now painfully aware of it. but, he can help you.
more trainings, better advice, and more time.
you have each other, and he is satisfied with that forever.

Hi! Can you write a anakin x sith!reader? Maybe they are already ruling the empire together and anakin is darth vador but unburned and reader is darth something as well?!
I made it kinda short because I’m not sure what storyline you were going for but I hope you like it.
….Warning: it gets a little spicy but it’s not smut….
A ruler's favorite place will always be their throne room. You confidently March down to the room where you are reminded that this galaxy is all yours. Stormstroopers drop what they’re doing to salute you as you walk by, commanders, generals, captains all have to stop and stand at attention when they hear your heavy footsteps walking by. This brings a smile to your face.
They would do anything for you.
The throne room’s door opens for you and you find your other half on his own throne. He sat there so confidently, even when he wasn’t doing anything his demeanor demanded respect, of course that didn’t apply to you.
You made your way up to the steps that lead to the black, intricate chair he sat on. He took off his helmet when he realized it was just the two of you. Under all that armor was the most handsome man you ever laid eyes on. His long hair framing his face, his eyes that were calling out to you to get a little bit closer, his lips asking that you meet them once again like they did this morning.
You discard your own mask and place it on your throne that was right next to his, revealing your face. He thought you were the most angelic being in the galaxy. He would slay villages for you if you just say the word.
“There you are ” Darth Vader said, it was so refreshing to hear his real voice and not the robotic one his mask produces.
“Here I am” you reply back
“Sit, claim what’s yours” he said gesturing your own throne
“I claim this” you reply and without breaking any eye contact you place both knees on either side of his thighs, finding a comfortable position to sit.
“Oh that’s how this is going to be” he growled in your ear
“Wouldn’t want it any other way” you whisper and nip at his neck.
The two of you just sat in silence, soaking in the intimate moment you were sharing. His metallic hand would slide up and down your back as the other one would trace your jawline and neck as he complimented you. The way you mesmerized him while he spoke made it sound like prayers falling from his tongue.
Darth Vader grabbed a hold of you and stood up, carrying your body with so much ease as if you weighed nothing. He carried you over to a big window in the room that overlooked all the stars, planets, and the infinite universe and set you down next to him.
“That is all ours” he claimed
“There are galaxies still waiting to be discovered out there Vader”
“We’ll rule those too” he said as he took your hand in his.

Peter Parker x Reader
Tumblr media
Peter Parker is your bestfriend. And so is Ned. But, you know, you're not in love with Ned.
"Hey, Y/N," Peter says as he gets to his locker, which was right next to yours.
"Hey, Peter," you say smiling. Ned comes up behind Peter with a lego, and imitates Darth Vador.
"Join me and together, we'll build my new lego death star," he says. You roll your eyes as Peter turns around excitedly.
"What?! No way how many pieces?" Peter asks.
"3803," Ned says. You close your locker, and watch them in amusement.
"That's insane," Peter says.
"I know," Ned says grinning. "Wanna build it tonight?" He asks.
"I can't tonight, I got the Stark internship," Peter says and closes his locker. You frown and fall in step with the two boys.
"Always about that internship," Ned says.
"Yeah, well, soon it'll lead to a real job."
"That would be so sweet. He'd be all, good job on those spreedsheets, Peter, here's a gold star," Ned says and you look at him.
"That-that's not how jobs work," you say.
"Well, I don't know how jobs work, Y/N," Ned says. You roll your eyes.
"No, that's exactly how they work," Peter says, smiling. You slap the back of his head, or try to but he catches your hand.
You pull your hand away from him, him still smirking.
"Hey, did you see that new Spiderman video?" Ned asks. You nod.
"Yeah," you say. Peter looks at you almost expectantly. "What?"
"Nothing, you just usually say something when you think stuff like that is cool."
"It is cool! I don't know, my sister's obsessed with him and I swear she's considering puting herself in danger just for him to save her," you say annoyed. Ned laughs and Peter smiles.
"So, what? You're annoyed 'cause your sister likes him too?" Ned asks. You hit his arm.
"I didn't say I liked him." Peter looks at you, confusedly. "I just mean, how can I like a guy I don't know?"
Peter nods. "So it's not because you like Peter?" Ned asks. You gape at him.
"Where the hell did you get that from?" You ask. Ned laughs and shakes his head.
"Whatever, I'll see you guys later," he says. You glare at him and Peter looks at you.
"Uh, was he telling the truth?" He asks. You look at Peter again and shake your head.
"No, of course not. That would be weird," you say, he nods, an odd expression crossing his face for a second.
A couple days later, Ned walks up to you.
"I'm gonna go to Peter's tonight, wait for him, you know?" He asks. You nod.
"Okay, why are you telling me?"
"Because, you're coming, too," he says. You groan.
"No, I don't want to build legos with you," you say. Ned frowns.
"Oh, come on, it'll be fun." You curl your lip and think for a moment. "And we're almost done, so..."
"Fine." He grins.
"Great, I'll see you later," he says. You nod as you walk out of the school. You see Peter, walking fast and call out to him.
"Hey! Peter!"
He looks back at you and stops.
"Uh, hey, I really gotta get going," he says. You fake a smile and nod.
"Oh, right, sorry," you say. He smiles and looks over his shoulder.
"It's fine, I'll see you tomorrow," he says. He studies you for a second then adds, "Hey, are you alright?" You press your lips together and nod.
"Yeah, I'm good, you go," you say. He looks unsure. "I'm good, Peter." He nods and smiles at you.
"Alright, well, bye," he says. You nod and he runs off.
"Just miss you," you say once he's out of earshot. You start your walk back towards your apartment.
Later that night you were laying down, watching Ned finish off the legos.
"We should go. Peter isn't here, and May thinks he is, and it's late." He looks at you and then you hear the window opening. You sit up slightly, when you watch a hooded Spiderman climb in.
He takes off the mask, and drops it on the floor, revealing Peter. He closes the door, dropping to ground noiselessly.
Then he turns and Ned drops the death star.
"What was that?!" May calls.
"Uh, n-nothing!" Peter yells. You stand up, looking at Peter in shock.
"You're the Spiderman from Youtube," Ned whispers.
"No. No I'm not!" Peter says. He hits the spider on his chest and the suit falls loose. You stare at Peter. For multiple reasons.
"You're not seriously denying this right now, are you?" You ask, Peter looks at you.
"You were on the ceiling!"
"No I wasn't! Guys, what are you doing in my room?" Peter asks.
"May let us in!" You say.
"You said we were gonna finish the death star!" Ned adds.
"You can't just come into my room!" Peter says. He was still shirtless and you were sure that you looked for far to long. It was distracting and you were fighting really hard to keep looking at his face.
Then May comes in, and Peter bumps into you. You almost fall back onto his bed, but he grabs your wrist.
May laughs and waves a towel infront of her face. "That turkey meatloaf recipe is a disaster. Lets go to dinner, thai?" Then she looks at Peter and sees he's only in boxers. And holding your wrist.
She somehow ignores this, though.
"Ned, you want thai?" She asks.
Ned starts to answer but Peter cuts him off. "No, he's got a thing."
"Thing to do after."
"Okay, Y/N?" May asks looking at you.
"Uh, yeah, sounds great," you say. She smiles.
"Great, maybe put on some clothes," May says. Peter grabs a sweater off his chair. May closes the door and you point around Peter's shoulder.
"May doesn't know?!" You say.
"No, she doesn't know. Nobody knows!" He whispers. You gape at him. "Well, I mean Mr. Stark knows 'cause he made my suit, but that's it." He says while puting on his shirt.
"Tony Stark made your suit?!" Ned exclaims, whisper tone. "Are you an Avenger?"
Peter shrugs. "Yeah, basically."
Ned holds himself up on Peter's bunk bed.
"You can't tell anyone about this, you gotta keep it a secret," Peter says.
"A secret? Why?" Ned asks.
"Are you stupid? May would kill him," you say.
"Exactly," Peter says.
"I might kill him!" You add. You hit his arm, and he grabs your hands.
"Alright, alright." Peter turns to Ned, not releasing your hands. "Come on, Ned, please."
"Alright, I'll level with you."
"Thank you."
"I don't know if I can do this, this is the greatest thing to ever happen to me," Ned says.
"Ned, please! May can not know about this! I mean, I cannot do that to her right now." You look at your friend who was freaking out. "I mean after everything that's happened with her. Please."
Ned shares your sympathetic look. "Okay."
"Thank you." Peter releases your hands and starts pacing, putting his hands in his hair. "I can't believe this is happening right now."
"Can I try the suit on?" Ned asks.
"No, Ned," he says.
"How does it work? Is it magnets? String?" While Peter talks down Ned, you grab the suit.
"Careful with that," Peter says, walking over to you. You look up at him.
"This is amazing, Peter," you say as he grabs the suit. He smiles.
"Yeah." Ned continues to ask questions about the suit and Peter turns to him. "Look, I'll tell you all about the suit tomorrow, okay?" He asks.
He pushes Ned towards the door, and finally gets Ned to leave.
Peter puts his back to his door and his hands over his eyes.
You walk closer to him carefully. "Peter?" You ask and he looks at you.
"Please, please you can't tell May," he says. You nod.
"I know. But, Peter, that's terrifying. I-" he cuts you off, putting his hands on your shoulders.
"Hey, I'm fine. I heal kinda quickly now, so even if I do get hurt, it doesn't last long," he says. You glare at the boy. He sighs. "Right, yeah, not good." You bring your hands up and cup his face.
"Are you being careful?" You ask. He nods.
"Yes." You press your lips together and nod. You let your hands fall from his face, and lightly hit his chest.
"Right, well, I'll go. I'll see you tomorrow, Peter," you say. You go to walk around him, but he holds your wrist.
"No, um, come to dinner with May and I," he says. You shake your head.
"You don't have to, Peter."
"I know. But, please. Maybe I can explain things when we get back," he says. You look at him, and you knew that it would be pointless to even try saying no. You were incapable of saying no to this boy and he knew it.
"Okay," you say. He smiles and you both walk out to May, who was ready to go.

One shot where Rey finds the reader on a lonely planet with kind of a Canada climate just less forest and more rocks if you know what I mean lol and tries to convince them that they are needed for the rebels because they are strong with the force. Reader denies this due to having trust issues at first and only as Rey and reader grow closer and develop a friendship does reader reveal their force powers and join the rebel alliance. Leia kinda takes her under her wing and becomes a mother figure.
Super cool! (I apologize for the brevity of it and the long delay. I hope you like it)
Opportunity of the Force
Pairing: Rey x reader
Word Count: 1,270
Warnings: cursing?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Join the rebel force and fight for what’s right! You could defeat the Dark Side and save lives across the galaxy.”
Did this girl ever shut up? You thought as you trudged through the snow while the newcomer followed close behind. She comes to my planet with her beat up ship, a giant stick, and her stupid lightsaber and follows me for days for what? To make me join the rebellion? When will she get that I’m not interested?
You tried your best to ignore her, but you couldn’t help but look back every once in a while to catch a glimpse of the girl called Rey. Although you never heard of her, the ease at which she walked through inches of snow made you assume she was from a planet like yours— covered front and back with as much snow as it could hold. You also assumed her planet must have been full of friendlier people because where you come from most people would have decked this girl in the face by now. You would have too, if it weren’t for the silvery weapon she kept holstered on her hip. Nevertheless you trudged on, hoping to be back at your home by the time the sun apexed.
Time wore on, and your back began to ache; It was time to take a break. You stopped and dropped your supplies without saying anything, or even making eye contact with Rey. You hoped she would go on, but you knew she wouldn’t leave until she convinced you to go with her.
“Y/n-“ she began, but you held up your hand to stop her. When you did you took the first good look at her you’d had all day. She was skinny and tall, yet sturdy and strong. Her eyes were serious and focused. All you had to go on was her physical appearance. You wished you knew more.
“Y/n, you are strong with the force. You must accept that-“
“I don’t have to accept anything. Especially if it isn’t true. Now back off. Go home to whatever fancy planet you come from, and don’t come back.”
She stopped in her tracks and stabbed her stick into the snow, her hands nearly frozen around it. Squinting her eyes against the sun, she looked across the land. There was nothing but snow for miles. “I don’t come from anywhere ‘fancier’ than this place. It’s the same, really. Trading junk for rations, living alone far away from the chaos and being skeptical of everything. Just hotter…”
You furrowed your brows. “Hotter? You mean you don’t come from a planet like this?”
“No,” she replied. “Why do you say that?”
“You just seem well adapted. How you walk through the snow. Most people struggle with the weight and height of it.”
Rey smiled, impressed with your assumption. “I’ll make you a deal. I’ll tell you all about me- anything you need to know. If you still don’t want to come back with me then I’ll leave, and I won’t bother you again.”
Great, you thought. Might as well pack up now.
“Alright, Rey. If you aren’t from a planet like this then where are you from?”
“Nowhere. Jaku. I’m used to walking like this because of all the sand. It gets everywhere.” She dusted her pants. “Pretty sure I’ve still got some in certain places.”
You laughed, “And how did you manage to leave?”
Rey smiled and looked to the sky as if having a fond memory. “It was messy and disorganized, but it was one of the rebels.... sort of.”
“But…. why did you go with them? Why not stay where it’s safe.”
“Because…” Rey looked to you with a giant smirk on her face. “I guess I was just tired of safe. I wanted to do something. Be a part of something. Once I found out I had the force, I knew nothing was going to be the same.”
When she mentioned the force you felt the surge in your body. All the power that you held in your body, you always knew it was something important. You knew it had to mean something but the force? You thought it was all a myth.
Damn, she was good. You’d been talking barely a minute, and already you were intrigued. You wondered if she could teach you a thing or two about the force, but decided not to ask; you still weren’t sure you trusted her.
You looked at Rey then turned to face towards your home.
After a minute you decided. You knew what you wanted to do; you just didn’t know if you should do it.
“Okay,” you said to Rey. “I don’t need to know anything else. I… you’re right. I have powers, but I have no idea what they are or how to control them. That’s why I’m going with you.”
The trip back to Rey’s ship felt like a million years, as did the flight to the main Rebel ship. Any conversation that took place was mostly Rey explaining everyone you were going to meet. She spoke of a Finn, Poe, BB-8, and a couple more people, but the person you were most intrigued by was General Leia. She seemed powerful and terrifying when Rey spoke of her past fighting Darth Vador, but also sweet and motherly when Rey spoke of her personal experience with her; either way you knew you had to meet her.
When you and Rey arrived on the Rebel ship, Rey was quick to jump into action. She wanted to introduce you to everyone immediately.
“You’ll love everyone, y/n. Really, we are like a family here.”
As the both of you wondered about the ship, you realized just how right Rey was; everyone wanted to meet you: the person who Rey was sure could turn the tide in their never ending war. You shook various hands, paws, tentacles and robotic extensions as you journeyed through this ship to find the infamous General Leia. At this point you were starting to miss the solidarity of your hut back on your planet, but you pushed through all the same. When you finally saw the woman you had been waiting for, your heart nearly skipped a beat.
She was gorgeous, especially for her age. She had dark, silver hair with a hint of blonde, and the top half was pulled up in a bun.
“Rey!” Leia gasped as she saw the woman beside you. The room went still, and the air felt dry. The way Leia looked to Rey was like a mother to a daughter; you wished for that same look in your life. “Thank everything that you made it home safely. And not empty handed, I see.” Leia looked to you, a smile on her face.
You smiled back and stepped forward, your hand stretched out as a greeting, and when she shook your hand you felt a spark of electricity.
“You… you have the force?” You asked her, you eyes wide with bewilderment.
She nodded. “I feel yours too. We can help you understand it and control it. With time I know you’ll be one of the finest Jedi’s of our time.”
Although you were certain she was only speaking to flatter you, a new feeling of confidence surged through you.
“And who will be training me?” You asked.
“Well,” she began, “Rey will, of course. And so will I.”
You wanted to squeal; you were so excited! You looked to Rey with a smile on your face, and she returned it. This was the opportunity of a lifetime, and you were glad you didn’t pass it up.
I hope you enjoy!!! 💕💕💕

Just thinking about clone wars season 4 ep.15 were obi wan faked his death. Like anakin watched his master and best friend die and then as he almost killed “rako” he finds out it’s actually obi wan and the council lied to him. Like after that how are you surprised he turned to the dark side? Everything else after that was like icing on a cake.
